NailArt Sunday - 1:a Advent

Jag hoppas ni allihopa får en lugn och skön Första Advent. Själv njuter jag av nystädat, Adventspyntat hus och julmusik i högtalarna. 

Det är ju dessutom Lelacks NailArt Sunday och jag visar en för dagen passande manikyr. I botten har jag OPI Coca Cola red och har sen målat dit ljusen med hjälp av nail art penslar, Zoya Purity, Barielle Date Night och lite dit svampat ljussken. 

I hope you all will have a a peaceful and relaxing First Advent Sunday. I enjoy my fresh clean house with Advent decorations and Christmas music through the speakers.

It is also Lelacks Nailart Sunday and I illustrate this day with a fitting manicure. As the base I have OPI Coca Cola red and have painted the candles using nail art brushes, Zoya Purity, Barielle Date Night and a bit sponged glowing lights.

Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Essie No More Film

Blurple det är vad det här lacket är. Alltså en blandning mellan blått och lila. Essie No More Film vann med enbart en ynka röst förra veckans omröstning. Ännu ett lack som stått otestat länge hos mig. Och återigen ett lack som när jag får det på naglarna undrar varför jag inte använt.

Kanske för att det inte ser superlockande ut i flaskan, men jag vet ju med mig att jag gillar att bära den här typen av lack, så lite knasigt är det.

Det är alltså blå/lila creme. Superbra formula. När det gäller Essie kan det ju vara antingen eller, men det här lacket är kanon att måla med. Tar man lite tjockare tror jag att det kan täcka på ett lager, men jag har två. Ett lager med Digital Flash över också.

Som jag skrev är det här absolut ett lack som jag trivs i. Vilsamt på något sätt, kan inte förklara riktigt hur. Och givetvis ett sånt där lack som får mig att fundera på nail art igen.

Blurple that's what this polish is. Thus a mix between blue and purple. Essie No More Film won with only one vote in last week's poll. Yet another polish that stood untested for a long time. And again a polish that when I got it on my nails was wondering why I have not used before.

Perhaps because it does not look super attractive just looking at the bottle, but I should have learned by know that I like to wear this type of polish so it was silly of me not to use it earlier. 

So it is blue / purple creme. Great formula. When it comes to Essie it could be either way, but this polish is great to paint with. If one takes a little thicker first layer I think that you could stop with one but I have two. And a layer of Digital Flash over too.

As I wrote, this is absolutely a polish that I enjoy. Restful somehow, can not explain quite how. And of course one of those polishes that makes me think about nail art again.

Three new untested is what you have to choose from for next week. 

OPI - Coca Cola Red

Jag faller alltid för klassiska röda lack, så när jag fick syn på OPI Coca Cola Red tidigare i höst var det inget snack om saken. Jag skulle ha det där lacket. Sagt och gjort jag beställde det och sen har det stått och väntat. Då väljer jag att ta fram det vid ett tillfälle som inte kommer att uppskattas av sonen. Nämligen lagom till att jag ska följa med på hans utvecklingssamtal i skolan!

Klassiskt rött är väl den enda färgbeskrivningen som behövs eller? Jag har ingen Coca-Cola burk att jämföra med då denna dryck sällan kommer innanför dörrarna i vårt hus, men har ändå en känsla av att det är rätt väl synkat.

Letar man efter ett lättmålat rött lack är det här absolut ett bra köp. Två lager som var smidiga att lägga på. Helt ok torktid. Tyvärr var klockan lite mycket när jag målade på det här för det riktigt svider i Nail Art tarmen när jag har ett härligt krämlack på naglarna. Och tänk vilket bra underlag till julmanikyrer. Just det, ett lager av Digital Flash har jag på också.

I always fall for classic red polishes so when I saw OPI Coca Cola Red earlier this fall, it was no doubt about it. I had to have that polish. All said and done I ordered it and then it has been waiting in the drawer. And to be honest i didn't choose the best time to use this for the first time. Right in time for a meeting with my sons teacher about his schoolprogres. He will not be happy about my color choice.

Classic red is probably the only color description that is needed for this.  I have no Coca-Cola can to compare it with since this drink rarely come inside the doors of our house, but still has a feeling that it's pretty well in sync.

If you are looking for a good classic red creme this is definitely a good buy. Two layers which was handy to apply. Quite ok drying time. Unfortunately, the clock was a bit much when I painted with this for I really would have loved to do some nail art on it. It's a feeling I often get when I have a nice looking creme on the nails. And think what a good basis for Christmas manicure this is. That's right, I almost forgot that I have a layer of Digital Flash over too.

Zoya - Remy

Jaha, då var då kortare naglar då.. Hatar att laga naglar, blir aldrig speciellt bra tycker jag. Men jag ska försöka få det att hålla ihop i alla fall en vecka eller så även om det blir extremt kort att kapa av så blir det något bättre än nu i alla fall.

För att döva min sorg har jag istället valt att lacka med ett fantastiskt lack. Det här är Zoya Remy och efter detta har jag bara två kvar att prova från Ignite kollektionen. Underbart att måla med. Täcker på två lager, nästan på ett faktiskt och torkar fort. Jag har ett lager med Seche över också.

Man skulle ju kunna tro att Remy är blått, men jag tycker nog att det är mer tealfärgat. Helt fantastiskt är det i alla fall. Zoya när det är som allra bäst. Känns lite som en mörkare variant av min favorit Charla. Dessutom är det här en färg som jag tycker passar bra på korta naglar.

När ni måste kapa ner klorna vilka färger tycker ni passar bäst då?

Well, short nails again. I really hate to try and patch nails I don't think it ever turns out that great.  But I'll try to get it to stick together for at least a week it will still be extremly short when I cut it off at the break but at least I don't think it will hurt. 

To numb my sorrow, I have instead chosen to paint with a superb polish. This is Zoya Remy and after Remy there is only two more polish for me to show from the Ignite collection. Wonderful to paint with covers in two layers, almost in one actually and dries quickly. I have a layer of Seche over too.

One would think that Remy is blue, but I think that it is more teal. It is no mather what absolutely amazing. Zoya at it's best. Feels a bit like a darker version of my favorite Charla. Furthermore, this is a color that I think is good on short nails.

When you need to cut down the claws which colors do you think fits best, then?

OPI - Thank Glogg It's Friday

Blir ju lite fel att visa det här lacket en tisdag, men nu blir det så i alla fall.

OPI Thank Glogg It's Friday fick följa med mig till Linköping helgen som var och jag måste säga att jag trivdes alldeles utmärkt i det. Dock kan jag nog inte tycka att det är riktigt glögglikt. Möjligen i skugga när det nästan ser lite grumligt ut. Nästan som glögg, men mer magentafärgat. För lacket är röd/magenta lite beroende på ljuset man ser det i. I skugga ser det mer glögglikt ut och med lite ljus på så blir det mer magentalikt och ett fint skimmer framträder.

Det var mycket trevligt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. Torkar fort. Ett lager Seche har jag på också.

Ok, jag erkänner att jag köpte det först och främst för namnet skull, men jag gillar det verkligen. Det här lacket blev även det sista mina fina långa naglar fick bära för långfingernageln fick en spricka lååångt ner och nu är alla kapade och kommer bli ännu kortare misstänker jag. Snyft...

Well it feels a little wrong to show this polish on a Tuesday, but that is the way it will be any way.

OPI Thank Glogg It's Friday was the polish I wore when we were in Linköping the last weekend and I must say I liked it. However, I don't think it looks like Glogg because it's way to much magenta in it for that. Possibly in the shade when it almost looks a little turbid. Almost as Glogg does when you have pourded it in to the pot to warm it, but still more magenta. I think this shifts from looking totally magenta to a very dull kind of red depending on the light you see it in. In the shadow it looks more like Gloggg and with a little light on it becomes more like magenta and a very fine shimmer emerges.

It was very nice to paint with and covers in two layers. Dries quickly. I have a coat of Seche over it. 

Ok, I admit that I bought it primarily for the name sake, but I really like it. This polish was also the last thing my beautiful long nails were covered by because I got a bad crack in my middle finger nail looong down and I had to cut them all of and repair as much as I Could, but I suspect that I might have to cut even more when the nasty crack have grown closer to the edge of the finger.
