Delush Polish - All About Blue

20% på alla Delush lack hos Edgy Polish är ett riktigt bra erbjudande. Jag har testat en del från märket och tycker att det är riktigt bra. En någon av dom andra flaskorna vet jag att jag tyckte borsten var lite för fladdrig, men så är inte fallet i den här flaskan.

Det jag visar er idag heter All About Blue, ett mycket passande namn även om jag faktiskt upptäcker en del turkost i lacket i vissa lysen. Något som jag hur jag än försökte inte lyckades att fånga på bild.

Lacket är ett alldeles underbart blått metallic lack. Formulan på det här var jättetrevlig och det var verkligen torktiden också.

Jag har två ganska tjocka lager på. Tar du tunnare kan det behövas tre istället. Jag måste säga att jag tycker mycket om den här blåa färgen. Och det här bevisar ju också att alla lack som kommer från Indiemärken är inte glitter. Många av tillverkarna har också helt fantastiska "vanliga" lack som det här. Det är återigen ingen unik färg, men jag gillar den skarpt.

Det här var helt galet svårt att fota så färgen blir riktigt med verkligheten överensstämmande. Det jag kan lova er i alla fall är att om man gillar ganska skarpa blåa metallic lack så gillar man det här!

20 % of all Delush polishes at Edgy Polish is a really good offer. I have tested a couple of polishes from the brand and think it is really good. I know that I wrote of one of  the ther bottles that I thought the brush was a little too soft and straggly, but that is not the case in this bottle .

What I'm showing you today is called All About Blue, a very fitting name even though I actually find some turquoise in the polish in some lights.  Something that I did not managed to capture on photo no matter how hard I tried.

The polish is a really wonderful blue metallic. The formula on this was really nice and so was the drying time too.

I have two fairly thick layers on. If you paint with thinner layers you might need three instead. I must say I really like this blue color. And this proves of course, that all the polish that comes from Indie Brands is not glitter. Many of the manufacturers have also completely amazing "regular" polishes like this. It's again not a unique color, but I like it a lot.

12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge - Inspired by a Christmas Movie

Idag kombinerar jag Nailart Sunday med 12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge. Temat för dagen är Inspired by a Christmas Movie.

Det finns ju tusentals saker man skulle kunna gjort och det jag valt är från en i och för sig bra julfilm, men kanske inte min favorit. Nä, det måste väl ändå vara Love Actually eller Elf som är det. Jag gillar Polarexpressen och Nightmare Before Christmas också, men det föll ju sig så att jag råkade få syn på små fina vattendekaler med Grinchen på och då kunde jag ju inte låta bli att fixa till en Grinchen manikyr.

Många vattendekaler gör sig bäst över vitt så det här blev nästan en typ av skittlett i slutänden. Jag målade tumme och pekfinger med YSL Rouge Sublime, långfiner och ringfinger med Zoya Purity och avslutade med ett skimmerlack från Depend med nr 191.

På dom två fingrarna med vitt satte jag sen mina dekaler och jag tycker nog att färgerna går bra ihop och att det blev en ganska lyckad manikyr.

Today I combine Nailart Sunday with 12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge. The theme for the day is Inspired by a Christmas Movie .

There's thousands of things that I could have done and the Movie I choosen the inspiration from is a good Christmas movie, but maybe not my favorite. Nah, it must surely be Love Actually and Elf that is. I like The Polar Express and The Nightmare Before Christmas, too, but the thing is that I happened to come across some Grinch waterdecals when I surfed around and decided to get them.

Many water decals looks best on white so this almost turned out like a kind of skittlett in the end. I painted the thumb and forefinger with YSL Rouge Sublime, long and ring finger with Zoya Purity and finished with a shimmer polish from Depend that has the exiting number 191.

On the two fingers with white, I then put on two of my waterdecals and I think that the colors go well together and it was a pretty successful manicure in the end.

Det är snart jul och det här är ju tiden för att fira och även för att ge bort presenter.

Christmas time is here and that is the time for celebration and giving.

I'm definitly in a giving mode and the reason for this is that I reached 200 followers on Bloglovin. This is a really big thing for me and I want to share my joy with you. Pretty & Polished - Bubbles

Vill börja med att önska er alla en lugn och fin Lucia! På jobbet dök alla våra chefer upp i ett luciatåg med utdelande av lite lussebullar och pepparkakor. Sånt uppskattas alltid. Ikväll så blir det Luciatåg i kyrkan och som vanligt så kommer jag säkert att sitta där med tårar i ögonen. Gud vad blödig jag har blivit och värre blir det för varje år.

Nog om detta. Idag har återigen Edgy Polish ett kanonerbjudande i sin adventskalender. 20% på all Glitter topplack. Och jag kan lova att det finns hur många fina som helst att välja mellan.

Det jag visar er idag är Bubbles från Pretty & Polished ett glitterlack med klar bas. Glittret består sen av olika nyanser av blått. Jag hittade även någon lite guldfärgad och lite prismatiskt.

Appliceringen var mycket smidig. Glittret sprider sig välidgt lätt och är inte svårt att få upp på penseln heller.

Jag har ju en vana att alltid lägga glitterlack över svart. Just därför så valde jag istället ett ljusblått lack från Essence som bas den här gången. Jag har lagt två lager av Bubbles  2 lager över Essence Sleepy. Glittret fördelas lätt. Torktiden var helt ok och jag har ett lager med Seche över. Ok, jag erkänner att jag funderar lite hur det här skulle sett ut över svart..

Alltså jag har sprungit runt hela huset och försökt att få ett foto som visar hur fint det här är i verkligheten, men hur jag än gjorde blev jag inte helt nöjd, så ni får nöja er med dom här bilderna. Men jag garanterar att det gnistrar och glimmar lika fint som en luciakrona i verkligheten.

I Want to start by wishing you all a peaceful and nice Lucia! Because in Sweden we always celebrate Lucia the 13th of December. Another favorite december day for me. All our managers at work appeared in a Lucia procession and gave us what we call lussebullar. It's a kind of bun with saffron in it. And gingerbreads. These things are always appreciated. Tonight it will be Lucia in the church and as usual I will certainly be sitting there with tears in my eyes. God, how squeamish I have become and it get's worse each year. 

Enough of this. Today, once again Edgy Polish has a great offer in their advent calendar. 20% of all the glitter topcoats. And I can promise that there are a lots of beautys to choose from. 

What I'm showing you today is Bubbles from Pretty & Polished a glitter polish with clear base. The glitter consists of different shades of blue. I even found some little gold and a little prismatic. 

The application was very smooth. The glitter spreads välidgt easily and is not hard to get up on the brush either. 

I have a habit of always adding glitter paint over black. Just because of that I instead choosed to put this over a light blue polish from Essence. I added two layers of Bubbles over Essence Sleepy. The glitter easily spread out over the nail. The drying time was quite ok and I have a layer of Seche over. Ok, I still wonder how it would look over black.

I ran all over the house with my camera to try to get some photos that really shows how this looks in reality. But no matter how I did, I was not completely satisfied, so these will have to do. But I guarantee that it sparkles and gleams as fine as a Lucia crown in reality.

12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge - Santa's Workshop and List

Jag hade lite problem med att fundera ut vad jag skulle göra med dagens tema. Frågade kära maken och han säger som om det vore helt självklart: Schackrutiga naglar såklart.

Jag tror att de flesta av er vet hur i hela friden schackrutiga naglar hör ihop med tomtens verkstad, men om ni inte gör det så förklarar jag för säkerhets skull.

Vi är ju åter tillbaka till vår svenska tradition med att titta på Kalle & hans vänner på julafton. Det första inslaget där och även det enda som jag tycker är absolut nödvändigt att se är Tomtens verkstad och där finns just sån där färg som jag skulle vilja ha. Alltså en färg som man målar färdigt schackrutigt med. I den är i och för sig rutorna svarta och gula (insåg jag igår), men jag kör på svart/vita jag.

Jag har Zoya Purity som bas och gjorde strecken till rutorna med en nailart färg, fyllde sen i rutorna med Zoya Raven.

I had some problems finding out what I should do with this theme. I asked my husband and he looked at me like I was stupid and said chess patterns.

Well, you might wonder how chess nails have anything to do with Santa's workshop. And then we are again back to our Swedish tradition with Donald Duck on Christmas Eve. The first short animated clip is from Santa's Workshop and to be honest that is the only one of the short films that is necessary for me to see.

In this film you'll get to follow the elfs work to finish everything in time. And my favorite part is were one of the elfs is standing and painting chessboards with a color that instantly turns the bord checkered. I just love it! If you want to see it it's about 2,55 in to the movie.

So that is the background story to todays nails. Unfortunaly I don't have any of that elf paint so I actually had to make it look like this on my own.

I have used Zoya Raven, some black nailart paint and Zoya Purity.
