The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Pets #4

Vet ni vad för ovanlighetens skull blev det fågelinspirerat även för manikyr nummer fyra i The Nail challenge collaboratives husdjurstema.

Det var i och för sig inte riktigt meningen, men mönstret jag egentligen tänkte använda bråkade med mig så det fick bli en hel rad med små fåglar på rad. Jag hade faktiskt en dröm för länge sedan att ha just så. En hel voljär full av Undulater. Den drömmen har jag dock skippat.

Som bas till det här har jag använt Barielle Enduring ett vitt lack, men inte kritvitt och mönstret kommer från BM 614 och är stämplat med MoYou London Black Knight och ett finger med Zoya Purity. Det var inte riktigt tanken från början att ha olika färger, men det blev ändå rätt bra måste jag säga.

You know what the last of the four pets inspired manicures for The Nail Challenge Collaborative will also be inspired by birds.

It was actually not my intention, but the pattern I was going to use wouldn't work with me so I had to make a series of small birds in a row instead. I actually had a dream long ago to have just that. A whole aviary full of Budgies. That dream is not in my mind anymore though. 

As a base for this, I have used Barielle Enduring a white coat, but not pure white and the pattern comes from BM 614 and are stamped with MoYou London Black Knight and one finger with Zoya Purity. It was not really the idea from the beginning to have different colors, but it turned out pretty good I think.

Igår visade jag det vackra Nailnation 3000 A Holo S.A.G.A och det är också det lacket som jag använt som bas till dagens manikyr som blir nummer tre av fyra husdjursmanikyrer.

Även den här gången blir det fågeltema. För fjädrar fäller dom mina små fina dunbollar och ganska mycket fjädrar vill jag lova.

Det här blir även en recension av ett annat stampinglack från Born Pretty Store. Märket heter La Qin An. Jag tycker att det här var ett ganska bra stampinglack, även det här hade jag lite problem att plocka upp först, men jag börjar faktiskt tro att det är mina stämplar som behöver priming för jag har haft problem även med lack och brickor som jag vet funkat tidigare.

Det luktade lite mer än vanliga lack, men långt ifrån lika mycket som Munde De Unas lacken som jag inte fixar alls. Det här kan jag absolut tänka mig att använda igen. Färgen täckte väldigt bra och det är ju något som är väldigt viktigt om man köper ett rent stampinglack.

När jag fick den här flaskan hade jag först funderingar på vad i hela friden man skulle kunna göra för manikyr med ett ljusblått lack, men jag måste säga att på det mörkare blåa blev det här riktigt fint.

Yesterday I showed the beautiful Nailnation 3000 A Holo S.A.G.A and it's also the polish that I used as the basis for today's manicure that will be number three in four inspired by pets.

And it's another bird inspired one. My little friends leaves a lot of feathers behind I can asure you.

This will also be a review of another stamping polish sent to me from Born Pretty Store. The brand is called La Qin An. I think this was a pretty good stamping polish, although I had some problems getting this to pick up at first but I'm starting to actually believe that my stampers need som priming becuase I have had problems even with polishes and plates that I know worked earlier.

It smelled a bit more than regular polish, but nowhere near as much as Mundo De Unas that I can not work with at all. This I can definitely see myself using again. The paint covered very well and that's something that's very important if you are buying a pure stamping polish.

When I got this bottle I first had troubles coming up with a manicure with light blue pattern but I must say that I think this turned out really nice over the darker.

Blå Måndag: Nailnation 3000 - A Holo S.A.G.A

Vaknar till ett härligt väder och en ledig måndag! Ska försöka se till att swatcha och fixa inlägg så ni får något att läsa i veckan tänkte jag, men först ska jag skjutsa sonen till tåget.

Idag tänkte jag i alla fall bjuda på ett bidrag till Emelies Blå Måndag och det i form av Nailnation 3000 A Holo S.A.G.A.

Det här lacket har också stått och väntat ett tag på att bli använt. Nu var det dags och vilket vackert lack det är! Det är ett royalblått holo, men när man inte har ljus direkt på nageln är det mer som ett metallic utan de där borstmärkena som det ofta blir med metallic lack.

Jag tyckte att det var lite knepigt att måla med på första lagret, ville gärna dra med sig den redan målade färgen, men om man bara tar lite tjockare lager så går det bättre och övriga lager var inget problem med. Däremot fick jag lägga tre lager eftersom det hade blivit lite kala fläckar på första. Torktiden var dock bra så det tog inte speciellt lång tid i alla fall. På bilderna har jag tre lager och topplack.

Färgen är helt fantastiskt vacker på det här lacket och det gör att jag förlåter det för att bråka lite med mig. Tyvärr så är jag osäker på om det här går att få tag på längre. Jag är i alla fall nöjd med att ha en flaska i min samling.

I woke up to a beautiful weather and a day off! I will try to do some swatching today to make sure that you will have something to read the rest of this week. But first it's time to say goodbye to my oldest son again and take him to his train. 

Today I'm participating in Emilie's Blue Monday and it's in the form of Nailnation 3000 A Holo S.A.G.A

This polish has also been waiting a while to be used. But now the time had come and what a beautiful polish it is! It is a royal blue holo but when you have no light directly on the nail, it is more like a metallic without those brush strokes that you often get with a metallic.

I thought it was a bit tricky to paint with on  the first layer it draged the color with it and left some bald spots. But if you just take a little thicker layers it goes better and layer number two was no problem. However I did have to use three layers to make sure the bald spots from the first got covered. The drying time was good so it did not take long in any case. In the pictures I have three coats and topcoat.

The color is absolutely amazing beautifu and it makes me forgive it for being a bit messy to paint with. Unfortunately I think that this is discontinued. I'm anyway happy to have a bottle in my collection.

Reader's Choice - Colors By Llarowe The Mighty Red Baron

Oj oj oj vilket lack ni valde åt mig! Det är faktiskt så att just Colors By Llarowe var ett sånt där lack som jag bara tvunget skulle ha. Jag köpte enbart det här och betalade frakten från Llarowe för att jag var rädd för att det inte skulle finnas nästa gång annars. Och det här var i September förra året.

Jaha och sen känner ni ju till vad som händer. Det blir stående i lådan. Men nu har jag äntligen plockat fram den och detta tack vare er.

Och det visade sig att det här är lika fint som jag hade hoppats eller kanske till och med bättre faktiskt. En helt underbart mörkröd färg med ett djup tack vare holon som gör det galet vackert. Jag är helt såld och så himla glad att jag köpte denna flaskan som ni kanske kan förstå blev ganska dyr.

Nu till lite fakta också. Det är lätt att måla med och täcker på två lager. På bilderna ser ni det med topplack på vilket jag rekommenderar för jag tyckte nog att det blev ännu mer djup i det med hjälp av ett glansigt topplack.

Titta och njut! Ja och glöm inte att rösta på nästa veckas lack förstås.

Oh my.. What a polish you chose for me! The fact is that Colors by Llarowe is one of those polishes that I just hato have. I bought only this and paid the freight from Llarowe because I was afraid that there would not be the next time otherwise. And this was in September last year.

Oh, and then that you are aware what is happening. It remains in the box. But now I finally picked it out and this is thanks to you.

And it turned out that this is as good as I had hoped, or maybe even better, actually. An absolutely wonderful dark red color with a deep thanks holon that makes it crazy beautiful. I'm completely sold and so happy that I bought this bottle as you might imagine, was quite expensive.

Now for some facts too. It is easy to apply and covers the two layers. In the pictures you can see it with topcoat on which I recommend because I thought that it was even more depth to it using a glossy topcoat.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents - Pets #2

Idag får ni manikyr nr 2 på husdjurstemat. En manikyr som inte blev alls som jag tänkt mig, men ändå stämmer så bra i färgerna med det jag vill förmedla att jag väljer att visa den ändå. 

Den första manikyren var ju inspirerad av min ena Undulat Tonks och självklart så ska ju då Undulat nr 2 också få en manikyr efter sig. Denna lille fågel är grå med svart/vit vattring på vingarna en sk. Grå standardtecknad om man pratar fågelfärgspråk. Han är alldeles ljuvlig vår lille Grå som han heter för att vi hade så fruktansvärt dålig fantasi vid tillfället när han kom med i vår familj. 

Det är inte alls omöjligt att manikyr nr 3 också blir inspirerad av honom, för jag skulle vilja göra en manikyr som jag verkligen blir nöjd med också. 

Det är i alla fall OPI Cement The Deal i botten och prickarna är gjorda av Zoya Raven, Zoya Purity och A-England Excalibur. 

Today I will show you manicure No.2 on our pet theme. A manicure that didn't turn out the way I had imagine at all but it still does represent what it was supposed to so I decided to show it to you anyway.

The first manicure in the theme was inspired by one of my Budgies Tonks and of course you're going to get one inspired by our other Budgie. This little bird is gray with black/white the wings so-called. Standard gray if you are talking bird color language. He is absolutely lovely our little Grå, which means grey, as his name is because we had so terribly poor imagination at the moment when he came into our family.

It's not at all impossible to manicure No.3 will also be inspired by him, because I'd like to do a manicure that I feel really satisfied with, too.

In any case it's OPI Cement The Deal as the base and the dots are made of Zoya Raven, Zoya Purity and A-England Excalibur.
