5 Polishes 14 Manicures - The Intro!

Ja vad är det egentligen för titel det där. 5 Polishes 14 Manicures. Det ska jag förklara för er nu. När man har väldigt mycket lack eller i alla fall många lack så har man ju oftast inte så svårt för att hitta lack att matcha ihop med kläder eller smycken eller vad det än kan vara, men med det här temat så vill jag visa att man faktiskt inte behöver ha så många för att kunna göra många olika manikyrer.

Därför bestämde jag mig för att plocka ut fem stycken lack, lämpligt nog av min alldeles för stora hög av otestade och de här fem lacken är dom som jag får använda fjorton manikyrer framåt.

Jag får enbart visa lacket för sig själv en gång och de andra verktygen som är ok att använda är penslar, dottingtools, svampar och mina stampinggrejer. Visst alla som inte är lika lacktokiga som vi har kanske inte allt det här hemma, men penslar går att köpa var som helst och dottingtool, tja det behöver man ju inte ha speciella går ju att använda pennor, knappnålar eller annat för att göra prickar. Svampar har nog de flesta hemma antingen make-up eller sådana där disksvampar.

Alltså får vi se hur det här lyckas i slutänden. Lacken valde jag ut med tanke på att jag ville ha så stor färgskala att jobba med som möjligt. Det är väl också så att har man inte så många lack, men är intresserad så har man oftast några av grundfärgerna blå, röd, grön hemma kanske.

So what kind of title is that? 5 Polishes 14 Manicures. I will explain to you now. When you have a lot of polishes it's usually not so difficult to find polishes to match up with clothes or jewelry or whatever it may be, but with this theme, I want to show that you actually don't need to have so many to make many different manicures.

Therefore, I decided to pick out five polishes, appropriately enough of my far too large pile of untested and these five polishes is what I'm allowed to use fourteen manicures forward.

I can only show the polish for itself once and the other tools that are ok to use the brushes, dottingtools, sponge and my stamping stuff. Surely all that is not things that you might have if you're not a polishnerd, but most of it is.Brushes can be bought anywhere and dottingtool, well you don't need to have a special one you could use pens, pins or other things to make dots. Sponges is something that most of you have at home. Make-up ones or the ones you use for dishes.

So we'll see how things work out in the end. I chose the polishes so that I had a pretty wide color range to work with as possible. I also think that if you don't own as many polishes but are interested you probably have base colors like blue, red, green.

Nailart Sunday - Kretskort (curcuit board)

Var får du allt ifrån Angelica? Denna veckans tema för Nailart Sunday är alltså kretskort. Jaha, tänkte jag, men kom ganska snart på att det här behövde ju inte vara svårt alls. Att det sen inte är så rasandes vackert är väl en helt annan typ utan fråga. Jag hade i alla fall kul när jag gjorde dom här naglarna.

Första grejen var att försöka hitta något kretskort grönt baslack, för i min värld så är de flesta kretskorten i alla fall gröna i botten. Valet föll på China Glaze Starboard som är ett mycket trevligt grönt lack. Ovanpå detta har jag målat vita streck lite hit och dit med vit akrylfärg, sen har jag ju då också konstaterat att på de flesta kretskort så löder man dit komponenterna så därför tog jag en av mina nailartfärger. Ni vet en sån där flaska med väldigt smal pensel i och ploppade dit lite silvriga lödstället.

Som sagt det är väl inte så vackert, men kul i alla fall!

Where do you get all your crazy ideas from Angelica? This week's theme for Nailart Sunday, is curcuit board. Well, I thought this would be tricky, but came quite soon up to an idea that wouldn't have to be difficult at all. It might not get that incredible beautiful but that is a completely different type of question. I had fun doing this and that counts as a great thing for me.

First thing was to try to find some circuit boards green base coat, for in my world, most circuit boards ar at the bottom. I found China Glaze Starboard to be the best candidate for this, which is a very nice green polish. On top of that I have painted white lines a bit here and there with white acrylic paint, then I have also found that on most circuit boards you solder the components to get them stay in place so therefore I took one of my nailartcolors. You know one of those bottle with very thin brush and popped in some silver dots to look like solder on different spots.

Might not be very beautiful, but I like it anyway!

Ert val / Readers Choice! - China Glaze Man Hunt

Äntligen helg igen! Jag har en kul helg framför mig med både kräftskiva och studentfirande?!

Dessutom har jag ett lack att visa er som ni valde åt mig förra veckan. Valet stod mellan China Glaze Man Hunt, Kicks Brownish Bazar och Misa Wishing on a star. Det var en ganska tät kamp som till slut Man Hunt vann.

Detta helt underbara Royal blå krämlacket som kom ut förra sommaren och det är nästan precis ett år sedan jag visade det sist. Jag tycker verkligen så himla mycket om den här färgen. Ett enkelt lack, javisst, inget skimmer, holo eller glitter. Och jag tror att det är just det som jag tycker om. Det är ju inte någon diskret färg, men ändå vilsam på något sätt.

Formulan är dessutom mycket trevlig, vilket jag inte riktigt tyckte förra gången. Då upplevde jag den som något rinnig, undrar om det helt enkelt är så att jag vant mig vid China Glaze formula? Jag har två lager på som torkade helt ok. Ett lager seche också.

Ny omröstning under bilderna som vanligt, men resultatet kommer dröja lite eftersom jag kommer att ha ett tema på bloggen närmaste veckorna. Mer om det imorgon och måndag.

Finally weekend again! I expect to have a weekend ahead of me with both crayfish party and graduation celebration?!

Also, I have a polish to show you that you elected for me last week. The choice was between China Glaze Man Hunt,  Kicks Brownish Bazar and Misa Wishing on a star. It was a pretty tight battle that Man Hunt finally won.

This absolutely gorgeous royal blue creme polish that came out last summer and it's almost exactly a year ago  since I showed it last time. I really like this color so much. A simple color, yes, no shimmer, glitter or holo. And I think that's just what I like about it. It's not a subtle color, yet restful in any way.

The formula is also very nice, which I didn't think last time. Then I experienced it as something runny, I wonder if it is simply that I got used to China Glaze formula since then? I have two coats on that dried quite ok. And a layer of seche on top.

Dollish Polish - Dino-Mite Yoshi

Vad gör man med ett lack som man inte tycker ser fint ut på grund av att det är ojämnt och lite flammigt? Jo, självklart lägger man på lite glitter och vips så blir det ju helt annorlunda.

Och glittret jag valde att använda är ännu ett lack från Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros. kollektion. Den här gången är det Dino-Mite Yoshi. Yoshi som är en av mina små favoriter, den lille söta gröna draken eller dinosariuen eller vad han nu är för något. I alla fall han som skjuter ägg och som Mario kan rida på.

Glittret består av en klar bas full med glitter i rött, grönt och svagt guldfärgade nästan genomskinliga hexagoner. Jag hade inga superhöga förhoppningar på det här, men återigen så gjorde sig det här så bra över baslacket att jag blev helnöjd. De flesta swatcher jag har sett har varit över ljusare grönt, gult eller svart vilket också blir bra, men jag gillar verkligen hur färgerna poppade upp på det ordentligt gröna Bootie Babe Wide Backside.

Det här lacket är inget undantag utan de stora glittren var lite svårflörtade, men resten spreds sig ganska smidigt över nageln. Jag har två lager på och dom torkade helt ok. Över alltihopa har jag som vanligt Seche.

 

 

   

What to do with a polish that you think looks not so good because it is uneven and slightly blotchy? Well, of course, put on some glitter and just like that it looks completely different.

And the glitter I chose to use is another polish from Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros. collection. This time it's Dino-Mite Yoshi. Yoshi is one of my little favorites, the little cute green dragon or dinosaur or whatever he is. In any case, he who shoots eggs and which Mario can ride on.

The glitter is made up of a clear base full of glitter in red, green and pale gold almost transparent hexagons. I did not have super high hopes for this, but then again it turned out so nice over this base I was thrilled. Most swatches I've seen have been with brighter green, yellow or black as a base which also is nice, but I really like how the colors from the glitter popped up on the bright green Bootie Babe Wide Backside.

This glitter polish is no exception, the big glitters was a little difficult to get up from the bottle, but the rest were spread fairly smoothly over the nail. I have two coats on and they dried quite ok. Over it all, I have, as usual Seche.

Jag hade otroligt höga förhoppningar på dom här lacken. För vad jag vet så är väldigt många av dom dupes till Nubar lack och dom Nubar jag har provat har varit mycket trevliga att lacka med.

Nu vet jag inte alls vad det här ska vara dupe till, men jag hoppas att det inte är samma formula på Nubar varianten som på Bootie Babe Wide Backside för den var inte kul!

Men om vi börjar med anledningen till att jag köpte just det här lacket så är det så att när jag var yngre och bodde hemma med mina två äldre bröder så retade dom mig alltid för min breda backsida. Så direkt när jag fick syn på det här lacket så kände jag att det där måste jag ju ha. Givetvis för att flaskorna är kul och namnet fick mig att tänka på mina bröder, men också för att det var ju en riktigt läcker grön färg på det också.

Och det är det. Giftgrön rolig och glad grönfärg, men då är vi tillbaka till det här med formulan igen. Oj, oj rinnig, flammig och skir. Vad ska jag säga för positivt? Jo, penslen var bra. Jag har fyra lager på och över det Seche. Utan Sechet vill ni inte ens se det här. Torktiden var faktiskt inte heller så bra.

Nu är det ju så att jag har läst på många andra bloggar om andra lack från märket där man inte klagat på formulan alls, så jag sätter mitt hopp till dom andra två små rumporna som jag inte testat ännu.

I had incredibly high hopes for this paint. For what I know, lots of these are dupes to Nubar polishes and judging from thet Nubars I've tried they have been very nice to paint with.

I don't exactly know what Nubar polish this is dupe for, but I hope it's not the same formula on the Nubar variant of Bootie Babe Wide Backside for it was not fun!

But if we start with the reason I bought this specific polish it's that when I was younger and lived at home with my two older brothers they always used to tease me about what they said large back side. As soon as I saw the name of this polish I felt I had to have it. One reason is that the bottle is fun, and the name made ​​me think of my brothers, but also because it was a really delicious green polish too.

And it really is. Poison Green,  funny and cheerful green color, but then we're back to this with the formula again. Oh, oh runny, blotchy and sheer. What should I say is positive? Well, the brush was good. I have four layers on and over that a layer of Seche. Without that layer of Seche I don't think I would even had shown you this. The drying time was actually not that good either.

Now it just so happens that I have read on other blogs about other polishes from Bootie Babe and they have not complained about the formula at all, so I put my hope in the other two small bums that I have and not tested yet.
