Jag har haft en riktigt produktiv dag. Hunnit med skolarbetet, varit ute och gått, fotat fåglar, handlat mat och fixat kvällsmat. Vilket väder det var mitt på dagen idag. Strålande solsken och några plusgrader, helt perfekt.

Ikväll har jag dessutom kapat ner naglarna lite till. Försöker få de så jämna som möjligt, har väldigt svårt för olika långa naglar på samma hand. Efter det så har jag lackat med ett superhärligt vårlack från Depends Studio 54 kollektion. Det här har nummer 539 och är ett turkost krämlack. Ett lack som det riktigt skriker vår och sommar om. Jag skulle nog vilja säga att man säkert kan ha det här med bara ett lager, men jag har två och topplack över. Det var mycket bra att jobba med.

Det här blev jag riktigt glad av att titta på. En stor tummen upp från mig. Jag kanske också ska spoila lite för på den andra handen har jag nämligen ett annat lack. Ett av Essies Treat Love & Color lacken som jag tänkte testa hur länge det håller på min högerhand där inget brukar sitta vettigt på grund av två naglar som alltid skivar sig.

I have had a really productive day. Done my school work, been out for a walk, photographed birds, went to the grocery store and made supper. The weather has been perfect today.  Sunshine and a couple of degrees over zero.

Tonight, I've also cut down my nails a bit again. Trying to get them as even inlength as possible, I really hate having different length on the nails on the same hand. After that I have polished them with a gorgeous spring polish from Depends Studio 54 collection. This is number 539 and is a turquoise cream polish. A color that it really shouts spring and summer of. I would probably say that you can use only one coat of this but I have two and topcoat. It was very good to work with.

I really get a happy feeling when I look at this color. A big thumbs up from me. I may also give you a bit of a spoiler. On my other hand I have a completely different polish. One of the Essies Treat Love & Color polishes that I will test how long it will last on my right hand, where nothing usually seems to work because of two nails that are always peeling.

Untried A-Z Challenge: E = Emily De Molly Jungle District

Vi har redan kommit till bokstaven E i Untried A-Z Challenge och jag målade faktiskt helt oavsiktligt med dagens lack i lördags. Insåg detta när jag skulle börja leta efter vilket lack som passade till just E.

I lördags hade vi huset fullt med folk och självklart ville jag ha fina naglar och då föll valet på Emily De Molly Jungle District ett skogsgrönt lack med vad som kallas shredded glitter i prismatisk form. För att förklara shredded lite enkelt så är det typ som sönderrivet. Det här var mycket bra att måla med och täcker på två lager. Det är mycket glitter i det dock så topplack är absolut att föredra.

Som ni förstår så blev det ju utmärkt att visa det här lacket för er idag och samtidigt kunna vara med i utmaningen. Återigen blev det här dock en lite sval upplevelse för mig. Visst är det här väldigt snyggt, men inte ett sånt där lack som jag kände att det här vill jag aldrig ta av. Så jag tror tyvärr att det här kommer att hamna i min att sälja låda.

We have already come to the letter E in the Untried A-Z Challenge and I actually painted completely unintentionally with today's polish this Saturday. I realized that when I started to look for a polish to show that suited todays letter. 

Saturday we had the house full of people and of course I wanted nice nails and the polish chosen was Emily De Molly Jungle District a forest green glitterpolish with shredded glitter in prismatic form. This was very good to paint with and covers in two layers. There is a lot of glitter in it so I highly recomend using topcoat. 

As you understand, it felt great to realize that I already was wearing today's polish and didn't have to redo the nails agin to join the challenge. Again, though, this was a little sad experience for me. Sure, this is very nice polish, but not the kind of polish I felt that I will never take off. So unfortunately I think that this will end up in my polish to sell box.

OPI - Suzi Chases Portu-Geese

Vi hade en mycket trevlig kväll igår tillsammans med sonens svärföräldrar med familjer. Och vilken unge jag har som är så duktig på att laga mat. Hur ska jag klara mig sen när han flyttar? Idag är jag däremot segare än segast. Har inte blivit mycket vettigt gjort. Men har tittat på Wasaloppet och spelat lite golf med övrig familj på PS4.

Dagens tema i Polish Swatch Sunday är Lamb Wool White och det var inte helt enkelt att hitta ett som passade bra in i kategorien. Riktigt vita har jag ett par stycken otestade, men ett lite mer off white var svårare. Men jag lyckades för i OPIs Lisbon kollektion finns Suzi Chases Portu-Geese och det tycker jag var mitt i prick.

Det här är vitt med en stänk av.. ja vadå? Det kan vara lite grått, rosa eller möjligen lite beige i vilket fall som helst så är det ok att jobba med. Vita är ofta lite knepiga och jag fick ta tre lager för att det inte skulle se strimmigt ut. Som sagt inget oroväckande för ett vitt lack. Jag har topplack över också.

Jag älskar verkligen det här lacket. Tycker mycket om renhetskänslan som det utstrålar så för mig gör de där tre lagren ingenting.

We had a very nice evening yesterday along with the son's in-laws with families. And what a son I have! He is so good at cooking. How will I manage when he moves? Today, on the other hand, I'm so so tired. Have not gotten anything serious done. But have watched the Wasaloppet and played some golf with the rest of the family on PS4.

Today's theme in Polish Swatch Sunday is Lamb Wool White and it was not easy to find one that fit well into the category. I have a few untested that are true white, something a bit more off white was harder to find. But I succeeded when I turned to the OPI Lisbon collection and found Suzi Chase's Portu-Geese, and I think that was pretty straight on.

This is white with a splash of .. what? It may be a bit gray, pink or possibly a bit beige. It's ok to work with. White is often a little tricky and I had to take three layers to make it not look streaky. That said nothing worrying for a white. I have top coat over as well.

I really love this polish. I like the clean sense it gives me so those three layers is totally ok.

Reader's Choice - Turtle Tootsie Polishes Grease Lightning

Lördagen är här och vi förbereder återigen huset för lite 20-års firande. Ikväll kommer sonens svärföräldrar och det blir dubbelfirande eftersom hans tjej också fyller 20 om bara några dagar. Så jag ser fram emot en trevlig kväll.

Det finns ett ordspråk som säger: Somliga straffar gud genast och igår kände jag lite så. Jag gick in på Rusta och hittade en hel hög med OPI och som jag skrivit tidigare kostar dom just nu 20 kronor styck där. Gick ut från butiken med 16 nya lack. Ja, ni läste rätt 16 stycken. Och vad händer sen? Jo, jag bryter en av naglarna på min fotohand låångt ner och på ett mycket icke reparationsaktigt sätt. Så går det när man inte ska köpa mer lack...

Alltså blir det små korta naglar som jag presenterar denna veckas läsare på. De andra stackars lacken hade inte någon större chans mot Turtle Tootsie Polishes Grease Lightning. Det här lacket är ett mycket ljusgrått lack med både holo och prismatiskt glitter i. Jag har två lager på bilderna, men det kan vara så att man behöver ett tredje om man har längre naglar med lite fria tippar. Det är bra att jobba med.

Trivsamt är ordet som hoppar upp i min hjärna när jag tittar på det här lacket. Ett lack som går att bära vid alla möjliga tillfällen. Jag tycker det här är mycket fint, men kanske inte ett lack som hoppar upp bland mina gråa favoriter.

Och nu är det dags för er att rösta fram nästa veckas lack. Sonen kallade de här tre för schlagertrion. Mycket bling bling antar jag.

It's Saturday and we are once again preparing the house for a 20 years celebration. Tonight, the son's in-laws will be here and we will celebrate his girlfriend as well since here 20th birthday is just around the corner. So I'm looking forward to a nice evening.

In Sweden we have a saying that goes kind of like this: Sometimes God punish you right away (that was a very straight translation from swedish) and yesterday I felt a bit like that. I went to Rusta and found a whole lot of OPI and, as I wrote in one of my haul posts they are about $2.40 each which is soo cheap here in Sweden. They normaly cost about 19 USD in stores. Went out from the shop with 16 new bottles. Yes, you saw the correct number! And what happend next? Well, I broke one of the nails in my photo hand and in a very non-repairable manner. That's the way things go when you go ahead buying lots of polishes knowing that you really shouldn't.

So therefore you will get to see this weeks reader's choice on very short nails. The other polishes didn't have a chance against Turtle Tootsie Polishes Grease Lightning. This polish is a very light gray with both holo and prismatic glitter in it. I have two layers in the photos, but you might need three if you have longer nails. It's good to work with.

Pleasant is the word that jumps up in my mind when I look at this polish. A one that can be worn at all sorts of occasions. I think this is very nice, but maybe not one that will go down as one of my gray favorites.

Depend O2 - Fairy Fun & Mermaid Kiss

Jag anser mig vara rätt bra på engelska, men det där med att kommentera på en politisk artikel med citat och grejer, det är svårt alltså! Oavsett om man tycker ämnet är intressant eller inte. Det är i alla fall en av sakerna jag jobbar med i mitt skolarbete just nu. Plus att jag ska börja läsa Peter Pan och skriva en analys av den. Kommer också bli svårt. Men om allt hade varit lätt så skulle det ju inte vara så värst kul faktiskt.

Allting går i alla fall mycket lättare om man har snygga naglar och det har jag verkligen just nu. Depend O2s Once Upon A Time kollektion ska finnas ute i butiker och jag rekommenderar verkligen de här lacken. Kul att kombinera färger och finishar. De två lacken ni får se idag heter Fairy Fun & Mermaid Kiss. Ett turkost krämlack och ett lite mer tealfärgat glitter/holo. Bägge är riktigt bra att jobba med. Två lager räcker för både glitter och krämlack. Jag har topplack över. Mermaid Kiss som glitterlacket heter blir lite matt i ytan utan tycker jag.

Jag har ju bara gjort en väldigt enkel kombination med de här två, men det finns ju oändliga möjligheter. Bägge färgerna är superfina och jag undrar om det faktiskt skulle kunna gå att stämpla med Fairy Fun. Jag tror det. I alla fall så är jag supernöjd med den här manikyren.

I think my English skills are pretty decent, but to comment on a political article with quotes and stuff, that's hard! Whether you think the subject is interesting or not. It is in any case one of the things I'm working on in my english class right now. Plus, I'll start reading Peter Pan and writing an analysis of it. That will also be difficult. But if everything had been easy, it wouldn't be much fun to be honest.

Everything gets much easier if you have nice nails and I really have that right now. Depend O2's Once Upon A Time collection are out in stores and I really recommend these polishes. It's fun to combine colors and finishes. The two you see today are Fairy Fun & Mermaid Kiss. A turquoise cream and a somewhat more teal-colored glitter / holo. Both are really good to work with. Two layers are suitable for both the glitter and the cream. I have topcoat over. Mermaid Kiss dries a bit dull so the glitters pops out much better with topcoat on. 

I've just made a very simple combination with these two, but there are endless possibilities. Both colors are super nice and I wonder if it would be possible to use Fairy Fun for stamping. I think so. In any case, I'm very pleased with this manicure.

Bear!

Igår var jag och gjorde gastroskopi, inte en favoritundersökning kan jag lova. Tyvärr eller skönt nog beroende på hur man ser det så kunde inte läkaren se några större problem med varken matstrupe eller magsäck så jag har fortfarande inte några svar på varför jag går och mår illa hela tiden. De tog lite prover som jag får svar på om några veckor. Vi får väl helt enkelt leta vidare efter anledningar.

I min engelska kurs ska jag nu börja läsa en novell och göra en bokanalys, något jag inte kan påminna mig om att jag gjort tidigare. Boken jag valde blev Peter Pan och det ska bli kul att läsa den, men något svårt då jag inte läst så mycket på engelska. Kursen är bra och jag är så glad över att ha något att göra som känns meningsfullt på dagarna även om det betyder att jag inte hinner måla naglarna så ofta ;)

Dagens manikyr blir en liten uppfräschning av gårdagens OPI It's A Piazza Cake. Idag är det nämligen tema Björnar hos Glam Nails Challenge på Instagram och jag hann eller rättare sagt orkade verkligen inte måla om igår så istället lyckades jag hitta det perfekta mönstret för temat på Über Chic 6-03 som jag stämplade dit med Hit The Bottle As Black As Night. Klart gulligt om ni frågar mig.

Yesterday I was doing gastroscopy, not a favorite exam I can promise. Unfortunately, or maybe I should say fortunatly, depending on how you see it, the doctor could not see any major problems with either esophagus or stomach so I still have no answers as to why I'm feeling nauseous all the time. They took some samples that I will get the results from in a few weeks. We just have to keep looking for the reason for this. 

In my English course, I am going to start reading a novel and doing a book analysis, something I can't remember ever doing before. The book I chose was Peter Pan and it will be fun to read it, but maybe a bit difficult since I don't read so much in English other than blogs. The course is good and I'm so happy to have something that feels meaningful to do during the weeks, even if it means I can't paint my nails so often;)

Today's manicure is just a little bit of make over of yesterday's OPI It's A Piazza Cake. On Instagram there is a Bear theme at Glam Nails Challenge and I didn't have time or actually I was too tired to redo the whole manicure so instead I managed to find the perfect pattern for the theme at Über Chic 6-03 as I stamped with Hit The Bottle As Black As Night. Definitly cute if you ask me.

OPI - It's A Piazza Cake

När ens barn fyller 20 år får han givetvis välja vilket lack som ska sitta på mammas naglar den stora dagen. Han dök ner i min otestade låda och kom upp med OPIs It's A Piazza Cake. Mer om lacket strax. Vi hade en jättemysig kväll på en av stadens restauranger, men jag tror att sonen nästan mer ser fram emot denna dagen när bokrean börjar. Det är ju liksom höjdpunkten på året.

It's A Piazza Cake är ett lack som jag ville ha efter att ha sett flera av mina favoriter på You Tube ha med det bland sina favoriter och jag hittade det i en försäljningsgrupp på Facebook till ett mycket vettigt pris. Färgen på det här kan väl kanske beskrivas som fudge brun eller bränd orange. En helt klart udda färg. Det är ett krämlack som är mycket bra att jobba med. Två lager och topplack är vad ni ser på bilderna.

Som sagt udda färg, men jag gillar den verkligen. Om jag bara sett den här flaskan i en affär hade jag nog inte köpt den, men efter att ha sett en massa swatcher och hört lovord så är jag väldigt glad att ha den i min ägo.

When one's child turns 20 years old, he should of course get the privilige to choose which polish his mother should wear on this big day. He dived down into my untested box and came up with OPI's It's A Piazza Cake. You will get to know more about the polish very soon. We had a great night at one of the city's restaurants, but I think he almost looks forward more to today when the great book sale begins in our country. This is a annual event and a party for book lovers. It's like the highlight of the year for many people.

It's A Piazza Cake is a polish that I wanted to have after seeing several of my favorites on You Tube  have it among their favorites and I found it in a Facebook sales group at a very reasonable price. The color of this may well be described as fudge brown or burnt orange. A pretty odd color. It's a cream polish that is very good to work with. Two layers and topcoat are what you see in the pictures.

As said odd color, but I really like it. If I had only seen this in the bottle in a store I would probably not have bought it, but after seeing a lot of swatches and heard praises, I'm very happy to have it in my possession.

February Haul

Då var det dags att summera denna månadens inköp eller kanske jag ska säga det som kommit i brevlådan denna månaden.

Häromdagen visade jag ett av lacken från Anna Gorelovas vinterkollektion som jag liksom bara var tvungen att ha eftersom de allihopa har fågelnamn. Den dök upp i sin helhet nu under februari. Köpt direkt från Ukraina.

Ja hittade lite lack i en av grupperna på Facebook och Camilla var dessutom gullig att skicka med ett extra lack som råkade vara ett av de som jag tittat på flera gånger när jag varit inne på HM.

It's time to summarize this month's purchases or maybe I'll say what came in the mailbox this month.

The other day I showed one of the polishes from Anna Gorelova's winter collection, which I just had to have because they all have bird names. I bought all of them directly from Ukraine.

And I found some polishes in one of the groups on Facebook and Camilla was cute to send me an extra polish that happened to be one of those I watched several times when I have been at an HM store.

Night Owl Lacquer - Legilimens

Vad bär man för lack när man ska fira sin sons 20-års dag med släkten? Givetvis något man sett fram emot att bära som man tror ska vara suveränt snyggt och lätt att måla dit lite snabbt. I mitt fall så tittade jag ner i min låda och mina ögon fastnade på Night Owl Lacquer Legilimens. En av anledningarna till att jag beställde Cast A Spell boxen med Harry Potter tema förra året.

Det här lacket är mörkt lila med prismatiskt glitter, flakies och lite annat smått och gott i sig. Det ser helt underbart i flaskan och jag tycker även andras swatchbilder varit superfina. Oj, vad negativ jag låter nu då och jag erkänner snabbt att jag blev besviken. För det första var det en ganska tjock lite klistrig formula som  inte var helt rolig att jobba med. Det är en jelly så man brukar få bygga upp det med några lager och i det här fallet blev det tre lager. Torktiden var helt ok.

Vad är det då som gör att jag låter negativ? För det första så tycker jag att lacket liksom faller platt på nageln. Det är inte alls så där skimrande vackert som jag föreställt mig. Det är fint, men inte riktigt vad jag förväntat mig. Och jag tror att formulan gjorde att jag blev lite avig till lacket. Dessutom hade det varit snyggare med ett rött lack till min klänning!

What polish do you wear when you're going to celebrate your son's 20th birthday with the family? Obviously something you look forward to wearing as you think should be superbly beautiful and easy to apply since you are in a hurry. In my case, I looked down in my drawer and my eyes got stuck on Night Owl Lacquer Legilimens. This polish was one of the reasons I ordered the Cast A Spell box with the Harry Potter theme last year.

This polish is dark purple with prismatic glitter, flakies and a little bit of everything in it to be honest. It looks amazing in the bottle and I also think other people's swatches have been super nice. And I now realize that I sound pretty negative and I can quickly acknowledge that I was disappointed. Firstly, it was a rather thick, sticky formula that was no fun to work with. It's a jelly so you usually have to build it up with some layers and in this case I needed three. The drying time was quite ok.

What is it then that makes me negative? First of all, I think that the polish kind of looses it's magic on the nail. It's not at all as shining beautiful as I imagined. It's fine, but not really what I expected. And I think the formula made me become a bit negative right away with this polish. And frankly a red polish would have looked better to my dress!

Depend O2 - 518

Vilken bra kväll det blev igår. Maten gick åt som smör i solsken och det blev många glada skratt. Imorgon är det den riktiga 20-års dagen och då ska vi troligen fira med att ut och äta lite gott på kvällen. Jag kan inte riktigt förstå att mitt yngsta barn nu fyller 20. Vad tar åren vägen egentligen? Och hur ska det bli när han flyttar hemifrån till hösten och man helt plötsligt inte har några barn som bor hemma längre? Nåja, det är ju ett tag till dess.

Färgen som gäller i denna veckas Polish Swatch Sunday på Instagram är Petal Pink. Jag letade lite bland mina otestade lack och hittade ett från Depend O2 sommarkollektion från förra året. Lacket har nummer 518 och är ett mellanrosa krämlack. Jag tyckte det blev lite strimmigt så jag har faktiskt tre lager, men jag misstänker att man kan ha två om man är lite noggrannare än vad jag var denna gång. Var egentligen lite för trött för att måla.

Ja, vad ska jag säga om det här. Det är fint, men inget som sticker ut precis. Trevligt och somrigt och får mig att längta efter sol och värme.

What a great night we had yesterday. The food was appreciated and there were many happy laughs. Tomorrow, it's the real birthday and we're probably going to have a nice time out on a restaurant in the evening. I can't really understand that my youngest child now is turning 20. Where did thoes years go? And how will it be for me and his father when he moves away this autumn to study and we suddenly doesn't have any children living at home anymore? Well, it still some time until that happens. 

The color of this week's Polish Swatch Sunday at Instagram is Petal Pink. I searched a bit among my untested polishes and found one from Depend O2s summer collection from last year. The polish has number 518 and is a mid-pink cream. I thought it became a bit uneven so I actually have three layers, but I suspect you can have two if you are a bit more careful when applying than I was. I was way to tired to paint my nails. 

So what can I say about this. It's nice, but nothing that stands out. Pretty and perfect for a summer day and it does make me long for sun and warm weather. 

Reader's Choice - Head Over Heels Nail Lacquer Sunshine Dust

Ute är vädret fantastiskt vackert. Kallt, snö och solsken. Vi håller på att förbereda huset för 20-års firande ikväll. 21 personer blir det, med andra ord fullt hus. Vi har ett inglasat uterum som är gjort för att kunna användas på vintern med golvvärme och så. Problemet är att är det igång så kan vi inte köra tvättmaskinen för då går propparna, så just nu måste vi komma ihåg att stänga av värmen i det rummet om vi vill ha ren tvätt! Och vi måste ha den igång, för annars får vi inte plats.

Jag kanske lurades lite vid omröstningen förra veckan för lacket som vann skrev jag heter Teeez, men det är tydligen själva tillverkaren och deras lack heter Head Over Heels Nail Lacquer. Jag har fått det här i en Glossybox för länge sedan och glömt bort att jag ens hade det när Viktor rotade fram det till omröstning. Jag googlade lite och hittade en hemsida till märket. Jag kan inte någonstans få fram hur mycket det är i de här flaskorna, men det är inte någon stor en. Och ändå kostar dom faktiskt 15 USD styck. Inte något jag skulle betala så mycket för faktiskt.

Det är absolut inget fel på lacket i sig. Bra formula, täcker ok, men borsten var inget vidare. Lite konstig form på den tycker jag. Kan även varit ett måndagsexemplar. Jag tvekade lite om jag skulle stanna på två lager eller inte, men jag tyckte att det kanske var lite väl mycket VNL så jag har tre lager och topplack på bilderna. Torktiden var ok, men inte supersnabb.

Dags att prata färg då. Ett ganska knalligt orange lack med guldskimmer. Det påminner starkt om ett av mina favoriter som är China Glaze Riveting, men det är något som saknas i det här för att det ska bli lika omtyckt av mig. Jag tror att det kanske är en lite mer röd ton i det här och guldskimret är något mer diskret. Fint, men det blir ingen favorit av det här.

Nästa vecka är det lite lugnare färger som gäller på lacken ni har att rösta på.

Outside the weather is amazingly beautiful. Cold, snow and sunshine. We are preparing the house for a party. We will celebrate our sons 20th birthday with our familys. We will be 21 people, in other words, full house. We have an enclosed outdoor space that is made for use in the winter with floor heating and so on. The problem is that when that is running, we can't use the washing machine because then the plugs go, so right now we have to remember to turn off the heat in that room if we want clean laundry! And we have to have it on, otherwise we won't have place to seat all the relatives.

Maybe I tricked you a bit in last weeks poll, because the polish that one was then named Teeez. That is what I thought the name was, but apparently that's the manufacturer and their polishes is called Head Over Heels Nail Lacquer. I've got this in a Glossybox long ago and forgot that I even had it when Viktor pulled it out of my untested box. I googled a little and found a website for the brand. I can not figure out how much it is in these bottles, but it's not big one. And yet they actually cost 15 USD. Not something I would pay so much for actually.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the polish itself. Good formula, it covers ok, but the brush was no a bit weird. A little strange shape on it I think. Could also be a Monday copy. I hesitated on puttion on a third layer or not, but I thought maybe it was a little too much VNL on two so I have three layers and top coat on the pictures. The drying time was ok, but not super fast.

Time to talk about the color then. A pretty bright orange with gold shimmer. It's reminiscent of one of my favorites, which is China Glaze Riveting, but there is something missing in this for it to be as well-liked by me. I think there may be a little more red tone in this and the gold shimmer is somewhat more discreet. Nice, but not something that I will add to my favorites list.

Anna Gorelova - 67 Kingfisher

Fredag och jag har snart klarat av min första vecka med engelska studier. Hujeda mig vad svårt det här var! Jag är verkligen inte van vid att sitta och plugga glosor och försöka få mitt trötta huvud att komma ihåg dem också. Men, det är också kul och skönt att ha lite mer struktur på dagarna.

En annan sak som jag kanske nämnt sådär i förbigående är jag verkligen älskar fåglar. Jag spenderar mycket pengar på mat till de små vilda fåglarna nu när det är vinter och njuter av att sitta och titta på dem. Så när jag fick syn på att Anna Gorelova (ett av Dance Legends märken) hade gett ut en hel kollektion med bara fågelnamn så kunde jag ju inte låta bli att köpa. Dessutom hade ett namn efter min favorit som är Domherre. En annan fågel som jag verkligen skulle vilja se i verkligheten och framförallt få möjlighet att fota är Kungsfiskaren och ett av de andra lacken är döpt efter den.

Alltså är 67 Kingfisher först ut att visas ur denna kollektion på sex lack. Googla gärna hur fågeln ser ut. Lacket är grönt med både lite holo och flakies i sig. Mycket trevligt att jobba med och fastän det krävde tre lager på sticka så räckte det med två på nageln.

Grönt på gränsen till teal, alldeles fantastiskt skimrande, precis som fågeln. Det här är vackert och jag är alldeles lite kär i det.

Friday and I have soon completed my first week of English studies. This is really hard!  I'm really not used to sitting and studying vocabulary and trying to get my tired head to remember them too. But, it's also fun and nice to have some more structure of my days.

Another thing that I might have mentioned before is my love for birds. I spend a lot of money on food for the little wild birds now when it's winter and enjoy watching them eating just outside my window. So when I realized that Anna Gorelova (one of the Dance Legends brands) had given out a collection with only bird names, I could not help buying it. To my defence one of the polishes name is Bullfinch which is my favorite bird. Another bird that I really want to see in reality, and above all get the opportunity to take photos of is the Kingfisher and one of the other polishes in this collection is named after it.

First out is 67 Kingfisher of the six polishes in this collection. Please google Kingfisher to see how beautiful it is. The color is green with both holo and flakies in it. Very nice to work with and although it required three layers on a displaystickt, it was enough with two on the nail.

Green on the verge of teal, absolutely amazingly shimmering, just like the bird. This is beautiful and I'm so in love with it.

OPI - Sun, Sea And Sand In My Pants

När ni läser det här har det redan hunnit bli torsdag, jag hoppas att veckan varit fin hittills.

För att lysa upp tillvaron lite grann blir det ett väldigt soligt och glatt lack som jag visar er idag. Det här är Sun, Sea And Sand In My Pants från OPI:s Lisbon kollektion. Älskar namnet på det här lacket!

För att vara ett gult krämlack så tycker jag att det var riktigt bra att jobba med. Täcker på två lager utan att bli alltför strimmigt. Visst topplack är att rekommendera över, men för att få det slätt behövs det inte utan mer för hållbarheten.

Det här kan man ju liksom inte låta bli att gilla! Så härligt solgult, precis vad man behöver nu när man faktiskt börjar längta väldigt mycket till våren.

To brighten up the day you'll get a very sunny and happy polish today. This is Sun, Sea And Sand In My Pants from OPI's Lisbon Collection. Love the name of this one!

For being a yellow cream, I think it was really good to work with. It covers in two layers without becoming too streaky. I always recomend top coat, but to make it last longer this time and not because you need to make it smoother. 

This is a kind of polish you just can't resist liking! So sunny and happy, just what you need now when you really start to long a lot to spring.

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Love #4

Det blev visst mycket nail art med kärlekstema denna månaden. Idag blir det fjärde som jag gör för Nail Challenge Collaborative, men den är också till ett tema som Daily Nail Challenge kör på Instagram.

Själv är jag glad över att det blivit mycket nail art både i Januari och Februari jag är verkligen inne i en period när stamping och nail art är riktigt roligt.

Till den här har jag Depend O2 538 & 539 som bas och mönstren jag stämplat med kommer från Curali 012 och CjS  V-01. Färgerna jag stämplat med är bägge från MoYou London och heter Party Pink & Mulled Wine.

Jag är väldigt nöjd med hur läpparna blev med layer stämplingen och tycker för övrigt att det blev en lagom gullig manikyr.

There has certainly been a lot of nail art with love theme this month. Today I have the fourth and last for the Nail Challenge Collaborative bit this is also for the Daily Nail Challenge that runs on Instagram.

I feel very satisfied with the fact that it has been more nail art these last months. I'm really in a period when stamping and nail art is fun and makes me happy.

As a base for this I have the Depend O2 538 & 539 and the patterns I've used comes from Curali 012 and CjS V-01. The colors I stamped with are both from MoYou London and is  called Party Pink & Mulled Wine.

I am very pleased with how the lips turned out with the layer stamping and think that it became a pretty cute manicure.

Depend O2 538 & 539

En sak som jag tycker Depend gör bättre och bättre i sina kollektioner är att verkligen se till att man kan kombinera de olika lacken på snygga sätt. Lack med liknande färger men olika finishar som blir jättefina ihop blir vanligare. Mycket bra tycker jag.

Idag visar jag två av lacken från Retro Glam kollektionen. De med nummer 538 & 539. 538 är ett ljusrosa krämlack som täcker på två lager. 539 är också rosa, men något mörkare och kanske med en liten gnutta korall i sig också. Dessutom har det ett skimmer som jag tycker ser rosa ut i flaskan, men mer guldaktigt ut på nageln som är mycket fint. Det här är lite skirare och man behöver tre lager för full täckning eller lägger man ett lager över något annat lack.

Jag tycker att de här två lacken funkar alldeles utmärkt som kombination och 538 är ett riktigt trevligt rosa krämlack. Absolut inte något unikt, men ett sånt där lack som alltid funkar och som väldigt många gillar. Och så var vi där igen, med mitt lilla problem så fort något lutar åt korall. 539 är fint och skimret är vackert, men jag är inte helt såld på det här.

One thing I think Depend does better and better in their collections is to really make sure you can combine the different polishes nicely. Polishes of similar colors but with different finishes that works great together becomes more common. Very good, I think.

Today, I show two of the polishes from the Retro Glam collection. Those with numbers 538 & 539.538 are a light pink cream that covers in two layers. 539 is also pink, but slightly darker and maybe with a small hint of coral in it as well. In addition, it has a shimmer that I think looks pink in the bottle, but more goldy on the nail that is very nice. This is a bit more sheer and you need three layers for full coverage or you could layer it over another polish.

I think these two polishes work very well as a combination and 538 is a really nice pink cream. Absolutely not something unique, but that kind of polish that always works and that is liked by so many people. And then we were there again, with my little problem as soon as something leans to coral. 539 is nice and the shimmer is beautiful, but I'm not completely sold on this.

Untried A-Z Challenge: D = Dreamland Lacuqer Dragonberry II

Ibland blir saker och ting verkligen inte som man tänkt sig! Idag var det dags för introduktion för min Engelska kurs som jag sett fram emot att få gå. Tyckte det skulle bli skönt att få lite struktur i vardagen. När jag väl är på skolan och sitter i salen för introduktionen inser jag att alla utom en annan som var där skulle läsa SFI alltså är det bara jag som ska läsa engelska. Döm om min förvåning när jag sedan får till mig att ja just det du får ju läsa på distans om du fortfarande vill gå kursen för ni är för få deltagare.

Först blev jag så fruktansvärt besviken, men nu har jag bestämt mig för att det kommer bli bra det här också. Gäller bara att se till att ha disciplin och verkligen lägga upp ett schema för sig själv. Men väldigt snopet i alla fall.

Nu får ju inte mina klasskompisar njuta av alla fina lack som jag tänker pryda naglarna med under den här tiden ;)

I alla fall så är det idag dags för bokstaven D i Untried A-Z challenge och jag har lyckats få ihop ett dubbel D. Det vill säga att både märket och själva lacket har namn som börjar på D. Och vilket lack det är! Dreamland Lacquer Dragonberry II är ett lack som såldes enbart i en av Facebookgrupperna jag är med i. Tyvärr så hade vi lite otur och den första versionen bleknade något helt otroligt, men den här har kvar sin skönhet.

Lacket är ett rödlila holo. Fantastiskt att jobba med. Två lager och topplack är vad jag har på bilderna.

Ännu ett Dreamland lack som man bara älskar. Det är ju bara så fantastiskt snyggt liksom. Jag skulle kunna rabbla på med hur mycket kärleksförklaringar som helst, men jag tror ni fattar hur jag känner ändå.

Sometimes things doesn't turn out the way you thought they would! Today it was time for introduction to my English course that I was looking forward to take. I thought it would be nice to have some structure in my everyday life again and to met some people. But when I'm sitting at the introduction this morning, I realize that everybody else, well except one, who was there would read Swedish for Imigrants, so I'm the only one reading English 6. I guess you could imagine my surprise when I get told that of course you could read that course but you have to do it on a distance if you still want to study, because there are too few participants.

At first I was so terribly disappointed, but now I have decided that it will be fine this way too. I just have to make sure to have a great discipline and really set up a schedule for myselff. But quite a surprise in any case.

Now, I wont have any classmates that can enjoy all the beautiful polishes that I intend to adorn the nails with during this time;)

In any case, today it's time for the letter D in Untried A-Z challenge and I have managed to get a double D. That is, both the brand and the actual polish have a name beginning with D. And what a polish it is! Dreamland Lacquer Dragonberry II is a polish that was sold only in one of the Facebook groups I'm in. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck and the first version faded so incredibly much, but this one still has its beauty.

The polish is a redishpurple holo. Great to work with. Two layers and topcoats are what I have on in the pictures.

Another Dreamland Lacquer that you just love. It's just so gorgeous. I could keep writing words of love for this polish for an eternity, but I think you have understood how much I love this polish now.

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Love #3

Idag ska vi fira min lilla mamma som fyller hela 78 år. Eller hon fyllde tidigare i veckan egentligen. Eftersom jag ska börja skolan imorgon kommer jag att försöka göra lite tidsinställda inlägg, så därför kanske det inte blir alltför personligt i varje inlägg, men jag lovar att jag kommer rapportera om vad jag tycker om att sätta mig på skolbänken igen.

Temat i Nail Challenge Collaborative är Love och i Glam Nails Challenge är dagens tema Kisses och de två går ju utmärkt att kombinera.

Basen här är OPI Made It To The Seventh Hill som jag stämplat med mönster från Lina All About Love 01 och Hit The Bottle Drop Red Gorgeous.

Det blev lite kladdigt på ringfingret eftersom jag försökte få bort det jag redan stämplat med något sämre resultat och sen stämplade över nya läppar, men jag är ändå nöjd med den här manikyren.

Today we are going to celebrate my mother who turns 78 years old. Or she did earlier this week. Since I'm going to school tomorrow, I will try to make some scheduled posts, so it might not be too personal in this posts, but I promise I'll report what I like getting back to the school.

It got a bit messy on my ring finger because I tried to get rid of what I already stamped with not so good results and then stamped on some new lips, but I'm still happy with this manicure.

Reader's Choice - Dreamland Lacquer Kiss Me I'm A Fish

Har slöat lite nu på förmiddag, men hunnit med att swatcha lite lack för kommande vecka i alla fall. Jag gör inte det så ofta nu förtiden. Swatchar, fotar och plockar bort vill säga. Men för att komma i kapp lite på bloggen fick det bli så den här gången. Annars vill jag gärna bära lacken i alla fall en dag för att verkligen känna efter vad jag tycker om det. Det kommer jag nog tyvärr inte ha möjlighet till ett tag framöver dock.

Idag kommer äldste sonen med sambo hem, så vi ska fira lite födelsedagar är det tänkt.

Och när man ska fira saker ska man ha snygga saker på naglarna och det har ni sett till att jag har. Och yngste sonen som valde lacken ni fick rösta på också. Det var ju kanske inte en så hård kamp mellan de tre denna veckan. Vinnaren är Dreamland Lacquer Kiss Me I'm A Fish! som en person med fiskfobi är jag inte helt nöjd med namnet på det här lacket, men det får jag leva med för resten av det är helt underbart.

Limegröna microglitter som täcker på två lager, fantastiska att måla med, torkar fort och är bara suveränt. Det torkar lite matt, så om man verkligen vill få fram lackets egenskaper är det topplack över som gäller.

Det här är så in your face grönt och tokglittrande. Jag fullkomligt älskar det! Inget för de som inte vill synas, men mina naglar får gärna synas så jag är så himla nöjd.

Jodå, det är sonen som valt lack åt oss nu igen, så rösta är ni snälla.

We've been having a calm and nice day so far. I have done some swatching for the coming week. I don't do regular swatches that often anymore. You know when you swatch, take photos and take the polish of right away again. But to make sure you will have something to read this week that's the way it had to be this time. Otherwise, I prefer wearing the polish at least a day before writing about it just to really find out how I feel about it. But I don't think that will be possible with all polishes for a while now. 

Today our oldest son and his girlfriend comes home, so we're going to celebrate some birthdays,

And when you celebrate things, you have to have nice things on your nails and you have made sure that I have. And the youngest son who chose the polishes you got to vote for too. It wasn't that much of a fight this week though. The winner is Dreamland Lacquer Kiss Me I'm A Fish! As a person with fish phobia, I'm not completely satisfied with the name of this, but I can live with that because the rest of it is absolutely wonderful.

Lime green microglitter that covers in two layers, amazing to paint with, dries fast and is just superb. It dries a little matte, so if you really want to get this to sparkle I recomend using top coat. 

This is so in your face green and so sparkly. I totally love it! Nothing for those who don't want to draw attention to their nails, but my nails likes to get a lot of attention so I'm so happy.
