Reader's Choice - Smitten Polish Nose So Bright

På julafton hann jag inte fixa till ett inlägg med läsarnas val, men på naglarna satt det röda underbara lack som ni valt åt mig. Tänkte att vi istället skulle avsluta det här året med ett av de snyggaste lacken jag vet.

Ni röstade fram Smitten Polish Nose So Bright åt mig. Ett helt ljuvligt rött holo. Lacket täcker utan problem på två lager, torkar fort och sa jag möjligen att det är helt ljuvligt? På bilderna har jag som vanligt topplack på.

Alltså det här lacket! Jag tog inte bort det förrän i torsdags tror jag och då såg det fortfarande riktigt fint ut. Helt ärligt så hade jag inte haft något problem med att sätta på en ny omgång av det. Om jag tröttnat på röda lack så här efter jul? Nej, inte det minsta :)

Jag vill självklart också passa på att önska er alla ett riktigt GOTT NYTT ÅR! och givetvis ge er chansen att rösta fram vilket lack som ska bli 2017 års första läsarnas val.

I didn't get the time to make a blogpost on Christmas Eve, but the polish that you chose for me was on my nails. And what a polish that is! Thought we'd rather finish this year with one of my absolute favorite polishes.

You voted for Smitten Polish Nose So Bright. An absolutely adorable red holo. The polish covers without problems in two layers, dries quickly and did I say that it's absolutely adorable? In the pictures I have topcoat on.

This polish! I had it on for five or six days and it still looked greatt. Quite honestly I wouldn't had any problems with putting on a new round of it. Have I gotten tired of red polish now that Christmas is over? No, not the least :)

I would of course also like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! and of course give you a chance to vote for the very first reader's choice of 2017.

Winter Nail Art Challenge - New Years

Idag är det sista utmaningen i Winter Nail Art Challenge och som vanligt så kombinerar jag den med The Nail Challenge Collaborative. Temat för dagen är Nyår vilket självklart är passande då det här året enbart har några få dagar kvar.

Själv är jag ingen nyårsfantast, men jag ser mer tillförlit fram emot det kommande året, något jag inte riktigt känt på länge faktiskt. Sonen flyttar ihop med sin flickvän och själv börjar jag mitt nya liv med att studera administration.

Men i vilket fall som helst så är ju ändå nyår en dag då det ska vara glitter och glamour jag har försökt att återskapa detta någorlunda på mina naglar och tycker att det blev en riktigt bra festmanikyr.

Till alla som deltagit i årets Winter Nail Art Challenge vill jag säga ett stort TACK! vi får se om detta återupprepas till nästa jul eller inte, men i vilket fall som helst så har jag njutit av att se alla era manikyrer på våra olika teman.

Today is the last challenge in the Winter Nail Art Challenge and as usual I combine it with The Nail Challenge Collaborative. The theme for the day is New Year which obviously is fitting since this year only has a few days left.

I myself am no a big fan of New Year's but I do look forward to the next year something I haven't really felt in a long time. Our oldest son moves in with his girlfriend and me myself will start my new life with studying management.

But in any case for me when I think of New Year's Eve and the celebrations that comes with it I think of glitter and glamor, I have tried to recreate this reasonably on my nails and I think it became a really good party manicure.

To all who participated in this year's Winter Nail Art Challenge, I want to say a big THANK YOU! we'll see if this is repeated for the next Christmas or not, but in any case I have enjoyed seeing all your manicures at our different themes.

What happened to my 2015 favorites? Part 2

Efter ett ganska nedslående resultat med enbart 1 av 14 lack återanvända igen så ger jag mig idag på del 2 av min lista av vad som har hänt med mina favoriter från förra året. Någonstans hoppas jag på ett lite annorlunda resultat, men jag tror nog att jag kommer bli besviken.

Idag är det de olika finisharna som jag hade listat. Resterande text blir på engelska.

After a rather disappointing results with only 1 of 14 polishes reused from yesterdays list I do hope for a better result today when part 2 of this investigation will take place. Though my hopes are not that high. 

Today I will take a look at my 2015 favorites in different finishes and see if any have been used again.

OPI Romantically Involved and we will start this list as we finished yesterday with a polish that has not been used again. 

Duo/Multichrome

Parrot Polish Beautiful Not used again.

Nfu Oh 51 love this manicure but haven't done it again.

Lustré Platinum have not been used again. 

Glitter

Purrfect Pawlish Color Out Of Space and YES this have been used again.

China Glaze Looking Bootiful has not been used and I'm actually a bit unsure if I still have it in my collection. According to my spreadsheet I do.

A-England Crown of Thistles this beauty has not been used again and I feel ashamed over that.

What happened to my 2015 favorites? Part 1

Så här på årets sista dagar bjuder traditionen att jag ska redogöra för vad som faktiskt hände med mina favoriter bland lacken förra året. En tradition som oftast blir ganska pinsam, men ändå känns lite intressant.

Det jag går igenom är om jag har använt favoriterna under det gångna året och om jag faktiskt har kvar dom i min samling. Som den lackgalning jag är brukar den här listan få mig att förstå att jag nog ska dra ner lite på min konsumtion och ge de redan existerande lacken lite mer kärlek.

När jag gör mina topplistor brukar de vara uppdelade i färg och finish och så är även de här inläggen. Texterna under bilderna kommer att vara på engelska så jag slipper att skriva dubbelt.

This year is soon over and a fresh one will start. This is a season for traditions and one of the traditions at Lacky Corner is to go through the of my favorites from the year before this and check if I have used them again or if I still have them in my collection. A tradition that usually gets quite embarrassing, but still feels a bit interesting.

As the polish hoarder I am this list usually makes me think that maybe I should stop buying more and instead give some love to those who already are in my collection. 

My top lists are divided into color and finishes and so will this post be. 

Gold

Purrfect Pawlish The Pale Mask and I can't remember using this again. 

Silver

Another Purrfect Pawlish this time Sparkle Of Joy and no this hasn't been used again either. 

Blue

Purrfect Pawlish Dagon Why oh why haven't I used this one again?

Brown

Purrfect Pawlish Sleepy Hollow gorgeous brown but somebody I know needed this more than me so I gave it away. 

Grey

A-England Jane Morris and no it has not been used this year. 

Green

OPI Green On The Runway this is starting to become really embarrassing becasue this beauty has not been used 2016.

Yellow

Purrfect Pawlish Yellow Lion. Would dare to take a guess... No pricemoney though. No it hasn't been used again. 

Purple

Superficially Colorful Lacquer Utral Aymokriyä. No not once this year.

Orange

China Glaze Lady and the Vamp has not been used again. 

Pink

Smitten Polish Date Night and yes finally a polish that has been used again!

Red

Delush Polish Glam Squad has been standing unused in the drawer this year. 

Teal

Glimmer by Erica Un-Teal We Meet Again is another that sadly has not been used. 

Black

Ellagee My Sweet Romantic Teenage Nights is another polish that hasn't been used. 

White

Purrfect Pawlish Snow & Ice and you already know the answer. It has not been used. 

Winter Nail Art Challenge - Red & Gold

Hoppas ni alla haft en riktigt fin jul, det har jag i alla fall haft. Tomten kom med böcker och sällskapsspel.

Idag är temat rött & guld. Ganska klassiska julfärger även om jag personligen har rött och silver i min gran. Jag har gjort en enkel med snygg gradient med hjälp av Pretty Serious Santa's Sunburn och Cirque Ica Valley.

Det må vara ett enkelt sätt att piffa till naglarna med en glittergradient, men jag måste säga att jag tycker att det är ett av de snyggaste sätten.

Idag tar jag och slår ihop Winter Nail Art Challenge med The Nail Challenge Collaborative igen.

Hope you all had a really nice Christmas, I certininaly did! Santa came with books and board games.

Today the theme is red and gold. Quite classic Christmas colors although I personally have red and silver in my tree. I made a simple but nice gradient using Pretty Serious Santa's Sunburn and Cirque Ica Valley.

It may be an easy way to spice up your nails with a glittergradient, but I must say I think it's one of the neatest ways.

Today I also combine Winter Nail Art Challenge with The Nail Challenge Collaborative.
