Winter Nail Art Challenge - Tinsel / Ornaments

Det blev visst lite tyst ett par dagar här. Har ägnat mig åt min familj och julfirande. Som för övrigt har varit mycket bra. Lugnt och skönt precis som det ska vara. Nej, jag fick inga lack i julklapp, men det hade jag inte heller förväntat mig med tanke på att jag fick min adventskalender.

Jag har en del inlägg som jag planerar att skriva, men det kommer nog att bli lite mer sporadiskt i alla fall ett tag. Jag har inga sparade inlägg och har inte riktigt haft tid eller lust att sitta och swatcha för att få inlägg. Dessutom har jag en nagel som är lagad som inte tål alltför mycket bytande av lack. Snart är det dock dags att ta bort lagningen och återgå till kortisar och då blir det enklare igen.

Idag är det i alla fall näst sista dagen på vårt Winter Nail Art Challenge är glitter eller dekorationer. Dagens manikyr är långt ifrån den snyggaste jag gjort, men den blev liksom rätt rolig och om man bara har lite fantasi så ser man kulorna hängande i granen tillsammans med glittret.

Det jag gillade med dom här är att dom verkligen är platta så det var lätt att få dom att fästa på nageln vilket också gör att dom inte sticker upp från nageln vilket jag gillar. Lite väl stora kanske, men fin metallfinish på dom.

It has certainly been a bit quiet here for a few days. I have devoted my time to my family and Christmas celebrations. Which, by the way has been very good. Nice and calm as it should be. No, I got no polishes for Christmas, but I didn't expect that given that I got my Advent calendar.

I have some posts planned in my head but not yet written and I think that it will probably be a bit more sporadic posting for a while. I have no saved posts and have not really had the time or inclination to sit and swatch to be able to get posts. Also, I have a thorn nail that I've been patching up for a while and that doesn't need a lot of swatching polishes. Soon, however, it is time to remove the patch and return to the short nails and nails that doesn't need special care anymore. 

Today is a Winter Nail Art Challenge day and the theme is tinsel or ornaments. Today's manicure is by far the prettiest I've done, but it's sort of fun and if you only have a little imagination you will be able to see the decorations hanging in the tree with glitter.

What I liked about these are that they are really flat so it was easy to get them to stay on to the nail which also means that they do not stick up from the nail which I like. A bit too big maybe, but nice metal finish on them.

Winter Nail Art Challenge - Santa / Elfs

Först och främst en riktigt riktigt GOD JUL till er alla!

Ja, idag är det faktiskt julafton. Den där dagen som man härjar hemma med att städa, baka, laga mat och pynta inför och nu är den här. Tänk vad fort ett år ändå går.

Som sagt jag hoppas ni allihopa får njuta av en fin dag och att ni kanske får ett eller två trevliga paket från tomten.

Idag är det också Winter Nail Art Challenge med det lämpliga temat Tomtar och Nissar. Själv gjorde jag en liten tomtemanikyr. Liknande jag gjort tidigare, men jag gillar den här väldigt mycket.

Fast i år tyckte jag tomten kunde få vara lite discotomte så det är Powder Perfect Kevin! som bas och bältet är gjort av Zoya Storm.

First of all a really Merry Christmas to you all!

Yes, today it's actually Christmas Eve. That day the we Swedes are going crazy for. Cleaning the house, baking, cooking, decorating and buying presents for and now it's here. I can't belivie how fast the year has past. 

That said, I hope everybody gets a really wonderful and stressless day and maybe you'll get one or two nice packages from Santa as well. 

Today is also Winter Nail Art Challenge with the appropriate theme Santa or Elfs. I made myself a santa manicure. Similar to ones I have done before, but I like it so much so I did it again. 

But I thought that this year my Santa should become a bit of a disco Santa. I have Powder Perfect Kevin! as the base and the belt is made of Zoya Storm.

Darling Diva Polish - The Alchemist

Så här dan före dopparedagen tycker jag att ni ska få se en riktig vacker röd skönhet. Jag visar nämligen Darling Diva Polish The Alchemist. Ett lack som kom ut med förra höstens kollektion, men jag tycker att det här funkar som det perfekta jullacket.

Det är ett julrött holo med lila undertoner. Det täcker på två lager och torkar fort. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Alltså det här är verkligen helt underbart vackert. Jag hade mycket väl kunnat tänka mig att bära det här på julafton, men nu har ju tyvärr min manikyr efter en del städning redan börjat chippa. Men vem vet det kanske åker på igen.

Jag är nyfiken på vad ni har för planer för er julmanikyr. Vilket lack tänker ni ha eller vilken typ av nail art planerar ni?

 

So this is the day before Christmas Eve, and I think you should get to see an amazing red beauty. I have Darling Diva Polish The Alchemist for you. A polish that came out with the autumn collection last year, but I find that this works perfect for Christmas. 

It's a Christmas red holo with purple undertones. It covers in two coats and dries quickly. In the pictures I have one layer of topcoat too.

So this is totally amazing. I could very well imagine myself wearing this for Christmas, but unfortunately my manicure after cleaning the house has already begun chipping. But who knows, I might put it right back on again.

Winter Nail Art Challenge - Christmas Tree

Det är Winter Nail Art Challenge dag idag och temat det är julgranar. Jag fick en lite smågalen idé när jag satt med Bow Nail Polish First Light på naglarna. När jag gjorde den här manikyren kändes en vit jul väldigt långt borta. Gräset är grönt och det mest blåser, men snö det har vi ingen så varför inte göra julgranar på neonlack! 

Självklart fick det bli så, fram med stripingtejp, dottingtool, A-England Dragon och Zoya Rehka. Jag hittade dessutom en liten burk med julfigurer där jag hittade små stjärnor till toppen på granen. 

Resultatet blev en färgglad julmanikyr som jag tycker funkade alldeles utmärkt. 

It's Winter Nail Art Challenge Day today and the theme is Christmas trees. I got a little crazy idea when I sat with Bow Nail Polish First Light on the nails. When I made this manicure it felt like a white Christmas was very far away. The grass is green and outside it's most windy, but no snow so far so why not do Christmas trees on neon polish!

Obviously it had to be that way. I took out some stripingtape, dottingtool,  A-England Dragon and Zoya Rehka. I found furthermore a small jar with Christmas decor where I found small stars to use at the top of the tree.

The result became a colorful Christmas manicure which I think worked very well.

12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge - Gingerbread

Idag är temat i 12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge pepparkakor och jag hittade ett riktigt gulligt mönster på MoYou London Festive 01.

På naglarna satt redan China Glaze What's She Dune? som är ett sandfärgat krämlack och stämplat dom små gubbarna har jag gjort med Essensce Snow White Sneeze ett brunt lack som har lite skimmer i sig. Jag hade liksom inte så många lack att välja på när det gällde brunt, men det här funkade över förväntan att stämpla med.

Det blev en väldigt diskret, men ändå julig manikyr tycker jag.

Today the theme of the 12 Days Of Christmas Nail Art Challenge is gingerbread and I found a really cute patterns on MoYou London Festive 01.

The nails were already painted with China Glaze What's She Dune? which is a sand-colored cream polish and the pattern is made with the help from Essensce Snow White Sneeze a brown polish that has a bit of shimmer in it. I didn't have that many polishes to chose from when it comes to brown that also should work for stamping, but this worked beyond expectations.

It turned out like a very discreet, yet Christmassy manicure I think.
