My top polishes 2015 part 2

Idag tar vi lista nummer två med favoriter från det gångna året och idag är det olika finishar som listas.

Men först tänkte jag köra lite statistik. Jag har gjort det två år i rad bara för att jag kan.

När jag skrev förra årets lista den 27/12 2014 fanns det 625 lack i min samling så självklart ville jag även i år undersöka hur mycket samlingen hade ökat eller kanske minskat. Eller nej, det lär nog inte hända! Siffrorna ser ut som följande den 28/12 2015 fanns det 718 lack i samlingen. Om man då kollar lite nördig statistik så var det så att jag år 2014 köpte 11,5 lack per månad, men 2015 har jag lagt band på mig och enbart köpt/fått 7,75 per månad. Lite förvånande faktiskt med tanke på att det kom ganska många under min födelsedagsmånad och adventskalender fyllde på rätt rejält.

Det har rensats en del och sålts en del och efter alla reor efter nyår ska jag försöka mig på att inte ha köpstopp, men verkligen hålla ner lackinköpen till min otestat lista krympt.

Men nu till dagens lista! Och som ni vet så är det inte bara lack utgivna under 2015 utan jag har valt från lacken jag har publicerat inlägg om under året.

Today it's time for list number two with favorites from the past year and today it's different finishes listed.

But first I figured I would give you some statistics. I have done it two years in a row just because I can.

When I wrote last year's list, the 27th of December 2014 there were 625 polishes in my collection so of course I wanted to examine how much the collection had increased or maybe even decreased this year. The figures look as follows as at the 28th of December 2015, there were 718 polishes in the collection. If you then check a little nerdy statistics the numbers are as following in 2014 I bought 11.5 polishes per month, but in 2015 I had put a restraining order on me and only purchased / received 7.75 per month. A bit surprising fact considering that there were quite a lot polishes added during my birthday month and the Advent calendar filled up quite dramatically.

I have been pretty good with clearing out polishes and selling some and after all sales after New Year has endedI will try not to buy that many until my untested list dwindled.

But now to today's list! And as you know, it's not just polishes released in 2015, but I have chosen from the polishes I have published posts about during the year.

My top polishes 2015 part 1

Jag vill börja med att önska er alla ett riktigt GOTT NYTT ÅR! och jag tycker att en bra början på det här året är att lista mina favoriter från det gångna året. Jag har ju gjort det här några år i rad nu och tycker att det är rätt trevligt att summera på det här sättet.

Som tidigare år så är det inte bara lack som är utgivna 2015 utan jag har valt från mina inlägg gjorda 2015 istället. Listan är delad i två delar. En med mina favoritfärger och en med finishar.

Så välkommen till min lista och lämna gärna kommentarer på om det är några ni saknar eller vad era egna favoriter är.

I want to start by wishing you all a very Happy New Year! and I think a good start to this year is to list my favorites from the past year. I've done this a few years in a row now and think it's quite nice to summarize it this way.

As in previous years, it's not just polishes that was released in 2015, but I have chosen from my posts made in 2015 instead. The list is divided into two parts. One with my favorite colors and one with finishes.

Winter Nail Art Challenge - New Years

Då var den här.. Årets sista dag alltså. Jag börjar med att önska alla som läser ett riktigt Gott Nytt År! Själv har jag en hatkärlek till nyår. Sista åren har varit fyllda av sjukdomar och jobbigheter och bägge dom åren har jag önskat mig ett bättre år. Men jag får väl försöka önska mig det denna nyårsaftonen också för någon gång måste väl saker och ting vända kan man tycka.

Bloggmässigt har det varit ett ok år. Det är svårt att få nya följare här på bloggen, men Instagram växer. Det är ju väldigt kul förstås även om jag önskade att mer fick upp ögonen för informationen man missar när man väljer att bara titta på bilder istället för att läsa recensioner också. Sista månaderna har blogglusten sjunkit betydligt, men jag hoppas att få lite inspiration tillbaka för jag har så extremt många vackra lack att visa er.

Planer på en nya ABC Challenge finns också i mitt huvud. Det är många otestade som finns i min låda. Skriv gärna en kommentar om ni tycker att det skulle vara kul med en ny sån utmaning.

Men nu till detta årets sista utmaning i Winter Nail Art Challenge. Och självklart med tanke på vilken dag det är så blev ju temat Nyår.

Jag har som sagt saknat inspiration, men nyår är ju ändå ett rätt lätt tema. För det skjuts raketer, man dricker bubbel och det ska gärna vara lite glittrigt. Jag valde raket temat.

Min manikyr får symbolisera hur fyrverkerierna exploderar i stjärnkaskader på himlen. Den är gjord med hjälp av svart krämlack som bas, stämplat med Models Own Chrome Gold och mönstret är från MoYou London Timetraveller Back to the 80's 02.

Well we are here at the very last day of this year. I want to start by wishing everyone who reads a Happy New Year! Personally, I have a love-hate for New Years. The last few years have been filled with diseases and tough things in my life and both those years I had wished for a better year. But I'll just have to keep on trying to wish me that because sooner or later things will turn around at least that is what I have to belive.

Blog-wise, there has been an ok year. It is difficult to get new followers here on the blog, but Instagram is growing. And that is very fun of course, though I wished that more became aware of the information being missed when choosing to just look at pictures instead of reading reviews as well. The last few months have blog loss dropped significantly, but I hope to get some inspiration back, I have so very many beautiful polishes to show you.

I also have some plans for a new ABC Challenge in my mind. There are many untested in my drawer. Please write a comment if you think it would be fun to have a new challenge like that.

But now to this year's final day for the Winter Nail Art Challenge. And obviously, given what day it is the theme is New Year.

I have, as I said lacked inspiration, but New Year's still a pretty easy theme. You have fireworks, champagne and it should preferably be a little glitter. I chose the firework thing.

My manicure symbolizes how fireworks explode in the black winter night and star bursts in the sky. It's made with the help of black cream polish as a base, stamped with Models Own Chrome Gold and the pattern is from MoYou London Time Traveller Back to the 80's 02.

What happened to my 2014 favorites? Part 2

Idag fortsätter förnedringen med att redogöra för vad som hänt med mina favoriter från förra året. Gårdagens lista slutade med enbart 28% var använda igen. Idag är det favoriter inom finishar och låt oss ta kolla vad som hände med dessa lack.

Today I will continue with the humiliation to explain what happened with my favorites from last year. Yesterday's list ended with only 28% being using again. Today is the favorites in differnet finishes and let's check out what happened to these polishes.

Red

Powder Perfect With My High Heels On and guess what today we start with one that has been used again!

Duo/Multichrome

Powder Perfect Fog Is Rollin In and I don't think this has been used again. 

Flakie

Essence Special Effect Topper A Night In Vegas has sadly not been used again. 

Silver

A-England Excalibur has been used in a number of nailarts. Yay to that!

Glitter

Model City Bobbing For Apples is so pretty, but hasn't been used again. 

Jelly

Girly Bits Seriously Sassy and again I'm feeling the shame creeping up because this hasn't been used. 

Holographic 

Superficially Colorful Lacquer The Sacred Tsaheylu another one that stands unused. 

Neon

Pipe Dream Polish V.I.P Pass and no this hasn't been used. 

Glassfleck/Shimmer

Zoya India No, it's not used again. 

So this list turns out even worse that yesterdays becuase I have only used 22% of these polishes again. This is so not ok. I really need to step up and use these pretty polishes more. 

What happened to my 2014 favorites?

Året börjar lida mot sitt slut och det är snart dags att publicera min lista över årets favoriter, men först tänkte jag ta en liten återblick till dom som blev klassade som favoriter förra året och se vad som hänt med dom. Eftersom det här är tredje året i rad jag gör det här så får man väl säga att det blivit en tradition.

Jag tänkte som sagt ta en koll på om jag faktiskt använt dom där som jag tyckte allra bäst om förra året igen eller om dom ens finns kvar i min samling. Sanning och säga så brukar den här listan bli ganska pinsam. Den brukar få mig att inse att jag kanske borde använda dom där lacken som står i lådorna lite oftare och kanske dra ner på inköp av nya, men å andra sidan varför det när det finns så mycket nytt och fint!

Jag brukar dela upp mina favoriter i färger och finishar och så blir ju även det här inlägget då.

Nå i alla fall resterande text i inlägget kommer att bli på engelska så jag slipper att skriva dubbelt under varje bild.

The year is coming to an end and it's almost time to publish my list of this year's favorites, but first I intend to take a little look back to those who were classed as favorites last year and see what has happened to them. This is the third year I'm doing this so one can say that it has become a tradition.

I thought, as I said to take a track of whether I actually used those I liked the very most of last year again or if they even remains in my collection. Truth be told usually this list can be quite embarrassing. It tends to make me realize that maybe I should use the favorites a bit more and maybe cut down on the purchase of new, but on the other hand why when there are so many new and pretty ones out there!

I divide my top lists in colors and finishes so that's how I will list this one too. 

So let's start!

Gold

Well, this is Mentality Legislate and yes it's a great color, but we all know the drama around Mentality so no I don't have this polish anymore it's been thrown at the recycling yard. 

Silver

Depend 2080 I still have it but hasn't used it again. 

Blue

Mentality Brute I love this color, but this bottle is at the recycling yard and not in my stash anymore.

Brown

OPI Warm & Fozzie no it hasen't been used.

Grey

Powder Perfect The Clave I'm glad to say that I have been using this again.

Green

Depend 426 a gorgeous green that I for some reason hasn't used since I showed it on the blog.

Yellow

Glam Polish Ba-Na-Na! This was included in my top 5 yellow polishes so yes I have used it again.

Purple

Depend 419 and no it hasn't been used.

Orange

Pretty Serious My Darlin' Clementine another beautiful polish that I haven't used.

Pink

OPI Girls Love Ponies and finally another polish that has been used again!

Red

Smitten Polish Nose So Bright and now I'm ashamed because this has not been used again. I was going to wear it on Christmas Eve, but changed my mind at the last minute.

Teal

Zoya Remy, no not used.

Black

Rainbow Honey Nyx has been used several times actually!

White

Etude House Play #130 another one that sadly hasn't been used again.

So on this first list of my favorites from 2014 only 4 of 14 has been used again that is only 28%. Shame on me!!
