United In Pink - p2 Fashion Star

Redan fredag och förhoppningsvis något trevligt fredagsfika på jobbet!

Jag funderar ofta på hur jag skulle reagera om jag blev ställd inför valet att operera bort ett helt bröst eller bara en del för att ta bort en tumör. Skulle jag våga att inte ta hela, skulle man inte i så fall hela tiden gå och fundera på om och när man ska hitta nästa tumör då? Ja, det där är en fråga som kvinnor ställs inför varje dag över hela världen och den tål verkligen att tänkas på.

Frågan är svår och jag hoppas innerligt att jag aldrig behöver besvara den, men jag tror ändå jag hade valt att ta hela för oron för vad som händer om man inte gör så verkar värre än att bli av med ett bröst. Skulle jag känna mig mindre kvinnlig? Ja, kanske eller kanske inte för sanningen är ju att det finns så mycket fina proteser så folk runt omkring skulle förmodligen inte märka något och jag är ändå helt säker på att jag hellre känner mig mindre kvinnlig än att inte få leva alls eller att gå med ångest hela tiden.

Det var dagens funderingar, nu till ett lack som jag köpte när jag var i Berlin förra hösten. Märket heter p2 och jag ångrar att jag inte köpte mer av märket för det är riktigt bra.

Det här lacket heter Fashion Star och ingår i en serie som heter Leather Matte som ska få en yta som liknar läder.

Faktum är att det faktiskt gör det också. En ganska märklig finish på ett lack. Matt, men ändå inte alls. För man ska måla med två lager av det här och inget topplack.

Två lager räcker utan problem och jag måste säga att hållbarheten var suveränt bra. Jag har burit det här i fem dagar och visst har jag lite chippning på min högerhand, men inte så mycket att jag lider så mycket av det och det är ett mycket högt betyg när det kommer från mig.

Färgen är lite knalligare rosa och jag har trivts alldeles utmärkt i den.

I often wonder how I would react if I was faced with the choice to remove an entire breast or just a section to remove a tumor. Would I dare not to take the whole,  would not that meen that I would walk around wondering all the time if I made the right choice and if it's coming back. Yes, that is a question that women face every day all over the world and it's really worth taking a minute thinking about. 

The question is difficult and I sincerely hope that I never have to answer it, but I still think I had chosen to take the whole away because of the concern about what happens if you don't do so seems worse than to get rid of a breast. Would I feel less feminine? Well, maybe or maybe not for the truth is that there is so much fine prostheses so people around would probably not notice anything and I'm still quite sure that I rather feel less feminine than not to live at all, or to go with anxiety throughout.

It was the serious part of todays post and now on to the polish. One that I bought when I was in Berlin last autumn. The Brand is named p2 and I regret that I didn't not buy more of the brand because it is really good.

This polish is called Fashion Star, and is part of a series called Leather Matte to obtain a surface similar to leather.

In fact, it actually does look a bit like leather. A rather strange finish on a polish.  Matte, but still not totaly matte at all. You are instructed to paint two layers and then leave it without topcoat. 

Two layers is enough for coverage without a problem and I have to say that the sustainability on this was very good. I have been wearing this for five days and of course I have a little chipping on my right hand, but not so much that I feel aweful wearing it and that is a very high rating when it comes from me.

The color is a little brighter pink and I have enjoyed wearing it really much.

United In Pink - Funky French

Idag blir det en manikyr som är kombinerad med The Nail Challenge Collaboratives Funky French tema.

Jag har lagt OPI Girls Love Ponies som bas och sen gjort en fransk manikyr med hjälpa av GOSH Wild Lilac. På det här har jag sen gjort lite halloween inspirerad nail art. Lite som en halvdant ihop sydd manikyr liksom.

Jag tror att det kanske skulle använts en något smalare pensel till det svarta, men jag tycker ändå om det här lite grövre nästan lite slarviga på något sätt.

Som ni märker så blir det inte så värst mycket skrivet om bröstcancer idag, men jag undrar om ni känner till att när ni köper dom fina rosa banden med mönster på ute i affärerna så går inte pengarna oavkortat till forskning om bröstcancer utan kan användas till all sorts cancerforskning. Nu är det ju inget fel på det egentligen, men jag misstänker att många inklusive mig själv inte känner till det här. Vill man att pengarna ska gå till bröstcancer så ska man köpa de banden som inte har mönster och oftast säljs på lasaretten av bröstcancerföreningar själva. Jag har också sett dom på Apotek Hjärtat.

I painted with OPI Girls Love Ponies as the base and then made a French manicure with the help of GOSH Wild Lilac. On this I have since done what I think is a little Halloween inspired nail art. It looks a bit like I've tried to stich to manicures together. 

I think that I might should have used a slightly smaller brush to the black, but I still kind of like this little rougher almost sloppy stiches in a way.

As you can see you didn't get much information or text about breast cancer today, but I might think of something special for tomorrow.

United In Pink - Turtle Tootsie Polish Warrior

Välkomna till dag tre i vår temavecka United In Pink. Idag tänker jag ta upp ett ämne som jag tagit upp varje år och som är ack så viktigt. Nämligen att undersöka sina bröst. Och nu tänker jag inte bara på mammografiundersökningar utan att faktiskt känna igenom sina egna bröst i alla fall en gång i månaden. Och att man tänker på att inte göra det precis när man ska ha mens eller har mens.

Nä, ta er den lilla korta stunden varje månad precis efter mens. Tänk på att dom få minuterna det tar faktiskt kan rädda ert liv. Om du inte vet hur du ska göra så finns det massor av guider på nätet bl.a på 1177.se.

För er som precis som jag är över 40 år se till att gå på era mammografitider. Jag vet att det finns många som hävdar att det här inte gör någon nytta och att strålningen inte heller är så bra, men det ytterst korta stund du utsätter dig för strålning tror jag faktiskt inte kan göra så väldigt mycket skada med tanke på att det är en gång vartannat år man går på undersökning.

Det var dagens allvar och nu över till lacket. Ytterligare ett lack från Turtle Tootsie Polishes bröstcancer kollektion och den här gången är det Warrior som fått pryda mina naglar.

Ett ganska skarpt rosa lack med microglitter i. Även det här var trevligt att måla med, men något skirare än systern Perseverance. Warrior krävde tre lager för täckning. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Ja och så blev det ju en liten accentnagel här också. Denna gången med Zoya Purity som bas, stämpling med ett mönster från Bundle Monster 619 som jag fyllt i med leadlight teknik.

 

Welcome to day three of our theme week United In Pink. Today I intend to take up a subject I talk about eveyr year this week because it's very important. Namely to examine your breasts. And I'm not only thinking about mammograms but to actually feel through your own breasts at least once a month. And keeping in mind not to do it just when you are about to have your period or during that. 

Take that small amount of time each month, just after your period. Keep in mind that the few minutes it takes can actually save your life. If you don't know how to do it there are plenty of guides online, 

For those of you who like me are over 40 years make sure to go to your mammography. I know there are many who argue that this does not do any good and that the radiation is not so good, but for that very short time you are exposed to radiation can't do very much damage considering that it is once every two years you do it.

So that was the serious stuff and now on to the polish. Another polish from Turtle Tootsie Polishes breast cancer collection and this time it's  Warrior who has decorated my nails.

A fairly sharp pink polish with micro glitter. This was also very nice to paint with, but a bit sheerer than her sister Perseverance. Warrior needs three layers for coverage. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

Well  and an accent nail too. This time with Zoya Purity as a base, stamping with a pattern from Bundle Monster 619 which I filled in with lead light technique.

United In Pink - Pink Roses!

Visste ni att var fjärde minut dör en kvinna i Europa av Bröstcancer eller att 450322 kvinnor varje år får bröstcancer i Europa.

I Sverige får 21 kvinnor denna diagnos varje dag och 41 män, för vi ska inte glömma bort att även män drabbas av den här sjukdomen. Bröstcancer utgör 30,4% av alla cancerdiagnoser hos kvinnor i Sverige. 64,7% är över 60 år när man får beskedet och enbart 3,3% är under 40år. I 5-10% av fallen är ärftlighet den dominerande orsaken.

Jag skulle kunna rabbla upp hur mycket siffror som helst. Just dom här har jag hittat hos Bröstcancerföreningen Viktoria som är en viktig verksamhet och stödförening för de som drabbas.

Tänk er själva 21 kvinnor varje dag i Sverige. Det är rätt många det och vi kan faktiskt göra skillnad för de här kvinnorna och männen. Visst rosa manikyrer i sig gör ingen skillnad, men varje gång du köper ett rosa band eller gör som jag och blir stödmedlem i en stödgrupp gör du skillnad. För om forskningen inte får pengar eller om det inte finns någon som stöttar dig när du som bäst behöver det kommer vi aldrig att vinna över den här sjukdomen.

Därför tycker jag den här veckan är så viktigt, för om det bara är så mycket som en person som tänker till genom att titta på mina manikyrer så har allt det här tjänat ett syfte.

Och nu till dagens manikyr, som väl i och för sig är fin, men jag var sådär lagom glad när jag gjorde den. Problemet är inte vattendekalerna i sig för dom var rätt lätta att arbeta med, när jag väl kom underfund med att det var vattendekaler. På baksidan av förpackningen stod det nämligen att det var stickers och att man bara skulle plocka upp dom från arket och klistra direkt på nageln. Skulle inte tro det!

Jag har lagt dom här över China Glaze Pink Of Me som också är ett lack ur en Bröstcancer kollektion som kom för några år sedan.

I could rattle on for ages with statistics and numbers. The once I just told you is numbers I found at the Breast Cancer Association Viktorias homepage. Viktoria is an important organisation and support group for those affected.

Just imagine 21 women every day in Sweden. In a country as small as Sweden that is a big number and we can actually make a difference for these women and men. Sure pink manicures itself makes no difference, but every time you buy a pink ribbon or do like me and become a supporting member of a support group it does make difference. For if the research does not get the money or if there is no one who supports you when you need it the most, we will never win over this illness.

Therefore, I think this week is so important, because if I get only one person that looks at my manicures to think twice about this and maybe change their way of thinking it has served a purpose.

And now for today's manicure that is a nice one, but I was not so happy when I did it. The problem is not the water decals in itself because they were easy to work with, once I found out that there was water decals. On the back of the pack was stated that these were stickers and that you should only pick them up from the sheet and paste directly on the nail. Don't think so!

I have put them over China Glaze Pink Of Me which is also a polish from a Breast Cancer collection that came a few years ago.

United In Pink - Turtle Tootsie Polishes Perseverance with a ribbon!

Då var det återigen dags för oss bloggare att uppmärksamma den årliga Rosa Bandet kampanjen. En vecka då åtminstone jag gör bloggen något lite mer personlig än vanlig och väver in en bra mycket seriösare ton till mina inlägg än vad jag kanske gör i vanliga fall. Och detta genom att vi gemensamt visar rosa manikyrer.

Det är nog inte många av oss som inte på något sätt blivit berörda av Bröstcancer. Kanske genom att själva vara drabbade eller ha familj, vänner, arbetskamrater eller vad det än kan vara som drabbats. För mig personligen är det nog en av de sjukdomar som jag är mest rädd för att drabbas av, men också väldigt medveten om att chanserna att det ska hända faktiskt är rätt stora.

Jag sparar siffrorna och statistik till en annan dag och lämnar den mer allvarliga tonen för idag för att istället skriva lite om lacken som jag använt till dagens manikyr.

Fast detta utan att på något sätt komma ifrån ämnet för lacket Perseveance från Turtle Tootsie Polishes är ett av sex lack ur en kollektion som är gjord för att uppmärksamma just bröstcancer och där en del av inkomsten går till forskning.

Det här är mitt första lack från det här märket och Perseverance är ett Barbie rosa lack med ett vackert om även något diskret skimmer i. Jag tycker att det var en mycket trevlig första kontakt. Det var lätt att jobba med och täckte på två lager. Kanske inte världens snabbaste torktid, men inte heller en som ställde till problem. På bilderna har jag topplack också.

Men jag ville gärna börja veckan med symbolen för hela den rosa kampanjen, nämligen det rosa bandet. Så jag valde att göra en accentnagel med hjälp av Purrfect Pawlish Mountain Of Madness och sen handmålade jag ett rosa band med hjälp av Perseverance.

Sonen sa att det ser ut som en lussebulle, men själv är jag nöjd.

So it's time again for us bloggers to raise awareness to the Pink Ribbon campaign. A week that at least I will post a little more personal posts than usual and uses a good deal more serious tone to my posts than I might normally do. And of course shows pink manicures.

There are not many of us that not in some way been touched by breast cancer. Perhaps by being a victim yourself or having family, friends, coworkers or whatever it may be affected. For me personally, it's probably one of the diseases that I'm most afraid of but also very aware of that the chances of that happening are actually pretty big.

I save the numbers and statistics to another day and leave the more serious tone for today to instead write a bit about the polish that I used for today's manicure.

Though this without getting away from the topic because the polish Perseveance from Turtle Tootsie Polishes is one of six from a collection that is designed to draw attention to just breast cancer and where part of the income goes to research.

This is my first polish from this brand and Perseverance is a Barbie pink polish with a beautiful but a bit subtle shimmer. I think it was a very nice first contact. It was easy to work with and covered in two layers. Maybe not the fastest drying time, but not one that caused problems. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

But I wanted to start the week with the symbol for the whole pink campaign, namely the pink ribbon. So I chose to do an accent nail using Purrfect Pawlish Mountain Of Madness and then hand painted a pink ribbon with the help of Perseverance.

My son didn't see it as a pink ribbon (as usual) he said it had the shape of a saffron bun (something we eat for Christmas in Sweden), but I'm really satisfied with this.

Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer - Bound To The City Life

Det här lacket som jag tänker visa idag är ännu ett lack ur min secret santa bag som jag köpte förra julen och med tanke på hur fort tiden går så är det ju snart jul igen alltså är det kanske på tiden att jag visar det här.

Bound To The City Life är mitt första lack från Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer. Det är inte ett lack som var exklusivt för just den där tomtesäcken utan finns på deras hemsida. Lacket är ett marinblått microglitter lack som även har prismatiskt glitter i sig.

Det var lite skirare än vad jag förväntat mig och tog faktiskt fyra lager för att bli ordentligt opakt och på bilderna ser ni det med topplack också. Torktiden var bra och det var smidigt att jobba med.

Jo, det här är väldigt fint, men jag kan kanske tycka att glittret dränks lite när man inte står i direkt ljus, men färgen är mycket fin. Inte så vanligt med den här lite mörkare blåa på glitterlack. För mig blev det ett fint lack som jag tycker om, men inte älskar.

The polish I'm about to show today is another from my secret santa bag that I bought last Christmas, and given how fast time goes it will soon be Christmas again so I guess it's about time I show this.

Bound To The City Life is my first polish from Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer. It's not a polish that was exclusive to just that santa sack but is available on their website. The polish is a navy blue micro glitter with prismatic glitter in it as well.

It was sheerer than I expected and actually took four layers to become opaque and in the images you see it with top coat on too. The drying time was good and it was easy to work with.

Well, this is very nice, but I might perhaps think that the glitter is drowning a little when you're not in direct light, but the color is very nice. I don't think it is that common with this little darker blue in a glitter polish. For me it was a very nice polish that I like, but doesn't love.

Reader's Choice - L.A Girl Rock Star Groupie

Inget vidare väder utanför fönstret idag, men jag ska ändå städa så vad gör väl det.

Fast jag är rätt bra på att förhala städning och ett sätt är ju givetvis med att se till att få till veckans läsarnas val.

Det blev L.A Girl Rock Star Groupie som vann förra veckans omröstning. Ganska övertygande faktiskt.

Återigen slår det mig hur många fantastiska lack som L.A Girl ger ut. Det här är ett mörkt lila lack med helt ljuvligt skimmer i. Formulan var bra och så också torktiden. På bilderna har jag tre lager och topplack på.

Det här är verkligen ett fint lack ett som jag känner är lite unikt i min samling för vad jag vet så har jag inget liknande i alla fall. Dock är det lite tråkigt att det är ganska svårt att få tag på dom här lacken. Synd för dom är bra och väldigt billiga.

Not very fun weather outside the window today, but I have to clean the house so it really doesn't matter.

Though I'm pretty good at procrastinating cleaning and one way is to make sure to get to this week's readers' choice published for you.

It was L.A Girl Rock Star Groupie who won last week's vote. Pretty convincing indeed.

Again, it strikes me how many amazing polishes LA Girl gives out. This is a dark purple polish with absolutely adorable shimmer. The formula was good and so too the drying time. In the pictures I have three coats and top coat on.

This is a really nice polish one which I feel is a bit unique in my collection I can't think of any similar to this. However, it's a bit sad that it's quite difficult to get hold of these polishes. At least here in Sweden. Too bad because they are good and very cheap.

For the next week you get only pink polishes to choose from because on Monday our theme week United In Pink starts. 

Il Etait Un Vernis - Pinot Noir

Om jag hade druckit vin, vilket jag inte gör skulle jag haft på mig det här lacket varenda gång jag hällde upp ett glas rött för att matcha tror jag! Eller det kanske var att ta i, men det skulle verkligen matcha väldigt bra.

Il Etait Un Vernis är ett för mig helt nytt märke, men första bekantskapen var mycket trevlig så jag hoppas på en lång och trevlig vänskap.

Pinot Noir är ett djupt vinrött lack med fin holoeffekt. Det är smidigt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. Torktiden var också trevlig. På bilderna har jag topplack också.

Det här är absolut en färg som jag gillar. En typ av färg som jag lätt kan ta fram då jag inte riktigt vet vad jag vill ha eller ha svårt att bestämma mig. För man känner sig alltid snygg i den här nyansen och jag känner mig hemma i den.

 

If I had been a person who liked drinking wine, which I'm not, I've been wearing this polish every time I poured a glass of red to match, I think! Or maybe that would be a bit too much, but it certainly would match very well.

Il Etait Un Vernis is for me a completely new brand, but the first acquaintance was very nice so I hope for a long and pleasant friendship.

Pinot Noir is a deep burgundy polish with a very nice holo. It's easy to paint with and covers in two layers. The drying time was also nice. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

This is definitely a color that I like. A type of color that I can easily paint with times when I don't really know what I want to wear or have a hard time deciding. Because at least I always feel pretty in this color and I feel at home in it. 

Coral Flowers

Eftersom jag inte tycker så värst mycket om att bära korallfärgade nagellack tänkte jag att jag skulle liksom fixa Cheeky Monkey BFF lite för att få mig att gilla det lite bättre kanske.

Bästa sättet är ju som vanligt att lägga lite mönster på. Så jag letade upp ett mönster från en av Pueens Encore plattor och bestämde mig för att göra en ton i ton stämpling på med hjälp av MoYou London Classic Lipstick.

Och visst kändes det bättre så här.

Because I don't really enjoy wearing coral colored nail polishes, I thought I'd fix Cheeky Monkey BFF up a bit to get me to like it a little better maybe.

The best way is, as usual, to add a little pattern. So I decided on a a pattern from one of Pueens Encore plates and decided to make it a tone on tone stamping using MoYou London Classic Lipstick.

And it certainly felt better this way.

Cheeky Monkey - BFF

Idag tänker jag visa mitt första lack från Cheeky Monkey som är ett 5-fritt, veganvänligt märke från Kanada som jag stiftat bekantskap med genom att köpa Naturalbox.

Lacket jag fick i min box heter BFF och är ett korallfärgat krämlack. Formulan var helt ok, lite lik China Glaze krämlack skulle jag vilja säga. Det täcker på två lager och torkar i en helt normal takt. En mycket positiv sak med det här är att det inte blir det minsta strimmigt och man skulle kunna använda det utan topplack, men på bilderna har jag har jag det.

Jag var positivt överraskad över hur pass bra det här var att jobba med och visst är det en fin färg, men jag trivs inte superbra i korall. Faktiskt en av de få färgerna numera som jag inte gärna bär. En negativ sak är också priset på dom här. Märket finns att köpa i Sverige hos Ecoliving.se men dom kostar 179 per styck. Det kan vara ok, men inte för just ett krämlack i en ganska ordinär färg.

 

Today I will show you my first polish from Cheeky Monkey that is a 5-free, vegan friendly brand from Canada that I got to know through buying something called Naturalbox here in Sweden.

The polish I got in my box is called BFF and is a coral colored cream polish. The formula was ok, a bit like China Glaze cremes, I would say. It covers in two coats and dries in a completely normal pace. A very positive thing about this is that it didn't become streaky at all and you could use it without a topcoat, but in the pictures I have topcoat on.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was to work with and it sure is a nice color, but tend to not like coral. Actually that is one of the few colors now that I dont love to wear. One thing that I think was a bit bad though is that in Sweden this costs 179 SEK that is about 21,5 USD.  That could be ok for a very special color but this is an ordinary cream polish. 

Different Dimension - Ships Ahoy!

När Llarowe skulle sluta sälja andra märken än sina egna och A Box Indied passade jag på att köpa en grab bag med lack som tidigare varit med i just A Box Indied.

Ett av lacken jag fick var Different Dimension Ships Ahoy! som vad jag förstod varit med i årets juni box. Lacket är havsblått med både holo och lite annat smått och gott i. Tror det både finns lite glitter och flakies faktiskt.

Själva färgen är fin, men kanske inte någon som jag faller som en fura över faktiskt. Däremot var det trevligt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. Borsten i den här flaskan var dock lite väl spretig. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Jag tycker absolut att färgen är fin, men som sagt inte något super märkvärdigt och inte en färg som hade lockat mig att köpa en av dom där boxarna. Och helt ärligt har vi inte sett det här förut?

When Llarowe decided to stop selling other brands than their own, and A Box Indied I took the opportunity to purchase a grab bag with polishes previously released only with A Box Indied.

One of the polishes I got was Different Dimension Ships Ahoy! that was in this years  June box. The polish is ocean blue with both holo and some other stuff in. I think there is both little glitter and flakies actually.

The actual color is nice, but maybe not something that I fall head over heals for. However, it was nice to paint with and covers in two layers. The brush in this bottle was a bit too sprawling. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

I definitely think the color is nice, but as I said not anything super fancy and not a color that would have attracted me to buy one of those boxes. And quite frankly, haven't we seen this before?

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents - Funky French # 2

Innan jag säger något om dagens manikyr tänkte jag bara säga några ord om bloggens make over till en rosa dröm! Det här är givetvis för att det snart är dags för vår United In Pink vecka och för att uppmärksamma Rosa Bandet kampanjen.

Dags för Funky French manikyr nummer två av fyra och faktiskt ännu en som jag själv tycker blev riktigt kul och kanske lite Halloweenaktig.

Jag har använt mig av Cirque Sanguine som bas, för den satt ju liksom ändå på naglarna och så letade jag upp ett ark med nail vinyls som jag fixade till lite på naglarna och målade på med A-England Bridal Veil för att få till effekten.

Som sagt om man gör franska manikyrer på det här sättet tycker jag dom kan bli riktigt kul.

Before I say anything about todays manicure I would like to say a few words about the pink make over I have done to the blog. This is of course to match our upcoming United In Pink week!

Time for Funky French manicure number two by four and actually another one that I think was really fun and maybe a little Halloween-like.

I am using Cirque Sanguine as the base because it was already on the nails and I looked up a sheet with nail vinyls that I put on and painted over with A-England Bridal Veil to get the effect.

That said if one makes French manicures this way, I think they can be really fun.

Cirque - Sanguine

Jaha, då har vi ännu ett lack som jag desperat ville ha ändå har det stått i min låda i två år! Jag pratar om Cirque Sanguine som kom ut 2013 i deras Arcus kollektion.

Lacket har en skiftning mellan orange och rosa eller möjligen korall. Och en lite metallisk finish.

Och nu kommer vi till anledningen till att jag egentligen inte vill swatcha lack bara utan faktiskt bära dom lite också.

För när jag målade med det här blev jag inte imponerad, nä tvärtom jag var faktiskt besviken. För det första var det mycket skirare än vad jag förväntat mig. Efter tre lager hade jag fortfarande lite VNL vilket jag tycker var förvånande med ett sånt här lack, men det är i och för sig inte det värsta för det hade kunna löst sig med ett lager till. Det största problemet är att när jag la på topplack så skrynklade sig Sanguine. Inte på alla naglarna men i alla fall på två på fotohanden och det syns på mina bilder. Dessutom var jag inte helt nöjd med färgen heller.

Alltså gick jag och la mig med ett lack som jag inte alls var nöjd med. Men efter att ha burit det i ett par dagar så känner jag ändå att jag gillar färgen väldigt mycket på det, frågan är bara om jag gillar den tillräckligt för att förlåta att det skrynklade ihop sig. Och det är anledningen att det är svårt att döma ett lack om man enbart swatchar, fotar och tar bort på en gång.

 

Well let's take a look at yet another polish that I desperately wanted and still it has been in my drawer for two years! I'm talking about Cirque Sanguine which came out in 2013 in their Arcus collection.

The polish has a duochrome effect and shifts from orange to pink or possibly coral. And a little metallic finish.

And now to the reason why I don't really want to just swatch, photograf and take the polish of but to actually wearing them a little too.

Becuase when I painted with this, I was not impressed, NA contrary, I was actually disappointed. Firstly it was very sheer much more than I expected. After three layers I still had some VNL which I think was surprising on a polish like this, but it's in itself not the worst because it could be easy fixed with another layer. The biggest problem is that when I put on the topcoat it started to crease. Not on all the nails but in at least two on my left hand and it is visible on my photos. And the color didn't really appeal to me either. 

So I went to bed with a polish that I was not at all happy with. But after wearing it for a couple of days, I have decided that I really like the color very much The question is if I like it enough to forgive it for behaving the way it did. And folks that's why it's hard to judge a polish after just swatching it.
