Blå Måndag China Glaze Blue Bells Ring

På måndagar så är jag ibland med på Mrs. Data's Blå måndag och idag fick jag till en otroligt snygg blå manikyr.

Det här är China Glaze Blue Bells Ring och konstigt nog så är det här också ett av dom lacken från deras Holiday Joy julkollektion som jag tänkt hoppa över. Vilken otrolig tur att jag inte gjorde det, för det här var ett lack som direkt åkte upp på min blåa topplista.

Fantastiskt att måla med. Jag har faktiskt bara ett lager av lacket på bilderna. Inget topplack bara för att visa hur väldigt fint det här är redan innan man lagt på något över. Lätt att applicera och alldeles normal torktid.

Jag glömde visst säga något om färgen. Det är liksom elektriskt blått med ganska mycket silver i. Metallik eller foil lack är frågan. Äsch, det är blått och otroligt snyggt! Det tycker jag räcker ni ser ju på bilderna hur det ser ut!

Och igår skrev jag att ni på dagens och morgondagens inlägg skulle få se varför jag kapade ner naglarna. Kolla in långfingernageln. Ser det skumt ut? Japp, lappat och lagat. Blev inte så bra, så jag klippte ner dom istället. Lagom till jul kommer mina naglar troligen att ha en perfekt längd igen.

It's Monday and sometimes I join in on  Mrs.Data's Blue Monday and today I got an incredibly stylish blue manicure.

This is China Glaze Blue Bells Ring and oddly enough, this is also one of the polishes from their Holiday Joy Christmas collection that I thought about skipping. What incredible luck that I didn't, because this is a polish that directly went up on my blue favorite list.

Great to apply. I've actually just have one layer of the lacquer on the pictures. No top coat just to show how very nice this is even before you put on the topcoat. Easy to apply and normal drying time.

I forgot to say something about the color. It's like electric blue with pretty much silver in. Metallik or foil coating is the question. Oh, it's blue and incredibly beautiful! That's all I'm going to say. Look at the pictures and you will understand.

And yesterday I wrote to you that on today's and tomorrow's posts you would see why I cut down my nails. Check my middle finger nail. Does it look weird? Yep, patched and mended. Was not that great, so I cut them down instead. Just in time for Christmas, my nails are likely to have a perfect length again.

Nailart Sunday 1:a advent!

Snön vräker ner utanför fönstret och jag och familjen ska strax gå upp till byns julbasar. Första ljuset i adventsstaken har tänts och jag blir nästan lite gråtmild när jag tänker på min fina familj och snabbt barnen blir stora. Och hur stor skillnad det är från när dom var små med vad som är viktigt inför julen.

När jag ändå nämner min familj så vill jag passa på att uttrycka min glädje och stolthet över äldste sonen som tog körkort häromdagen! Kommer själv ihåg vilken oerhörd lycka det var när man stod där med det efterlängtade kortet i handen och insåg vilken frihet det är att kunna köra bil. Speciellt för oss som bor på landet.

Nog om detta! Det är inte bara i ljusstaken som första ljuset har tänts utan även på mina naglar! Jag har lekt med mina akrylfärger igen och är riktigt nöjd med resultatet. Som bas har jag YSL Rouge Sublime igen. För att den är så underbar att måla med. Sen lär ni också inse att naglarna blivit markant kortare sen senaste inlägget. Jag skyller allt på mannens bil. Skulle ta på mig säkerhetsbältet och skar av en bra bit av nageln. Eller fick ett skärsår kan man säga. Jag har lappat ihop det med lagningskit, men det såg inge vidare ut. Ni får se på bilderna imorgon och på tisdag..

Idag blir det även lite bonusbilder. En som jag lekt lite i mitt älskade Photoshop Elements med och så en på lilla Grå som fått flytta in i stora buren, men blir totalt ignorerad av vår andra fågel som verkar tycka han är farlig!

The snow is pouring down outside the window and me and the family will soon go to our village's Christmas Bazaar. The First candle in Advent is burning in the candlestick and I am almost a little weepy when I think of my beautiful family and how quickly the kids grow up. And how much difference there is from when they were small with what is important for Christmas.

While I mention my family I would like to express my joy and pride of my eldest son got his  driver's license the other day! In Sweden you are alound to have a license when you have reached 18. I remember what tremendous joy it was when you stood there with the much anticipated card in the hand and realized the freedom of being able to drive a car. Especially for us who live in the countryside.

Enough of this! It is not only in the candlestick the first candle is lit, but also on my nails! I've been playing with my acrylic paints again and are really happy with the results. As a base, I have YSL Rouge Sublime again. Because it's so wonderful to paint with. Then I guess you will notice that my nails have become significantly shorter since the last post. I blame everything on my husband's car. I was going to put the seat belt on and cut off a good bit of the nail. Or got a cut you could say. I've patched it up with repair kit, but it looked really weird. You'll get to see in the pictures in tomorrow and Tuesday's posts.

Today you'll also get some bonus pictures. One that I played around with a bit in my beloved Photoshop Elements and one of our little gray budgie who has now moved in to the large cage, but gets totally ignored by our second bird who seems to think he's dangerous!

Today is the first sunday in Advent and I got up early, lit candles and listened to Christmas music!

Darling Diva Polish A Christmas Story

Idag ska jag visa er det första lacket som jag köpt via en Etsy Store. Indiemärket Darling Diva Polish A Christmas story var bara för bra för att låta bli! Och dessutom är det ju nu 1:a adventshelgen, min absoluta favorithelg på året. Jo, faktiskt bättre än julafton på ett sätt. För den här helgen är bara mysig! Och med detta vill jag säga att jag tycker att det känns helt ok att visa ett lack med ett så julinspirerat namn :)

Lacket är fullkomligt fullpackat av glitter i rött och grönt. Det som gör att jag tycker så himla mycket om det här är att det är så små glitterpartiklar. Det ser inte så klumpigt och konstigt ut som jag ibland kan tycka att vissa glitterlack gör. Nä, det här är bara suveränt.

Man kan säkert ha lacket helt för sig själv, men jag blev lite snål och la det över ett annat istället för att spara in lite. Jag har provat över två olika lack nämligen Isadoras Ancient Ruby och Zoya Elisa. Bägge resultaten blev mycket bra.

Två lager av A Christmas story har jag lagt över de andra lacken och över detta ett lager av Poshé. Topplack är nödvändigt för annars ser det nästan lite matt ut. Jag verkligen älskar det här lacket och det är såå mycket finare i verkligheten än på bilderna.

Today I will show you the first polish that I purchased through an Etsy store. Indie label Darling Diva Polish A Christmas story was just too good to resist! And besides, it's now the first Advent weekend, my absolute favorite holiday of the year. Well, actually better than Christmas in a way. For this weekend's just cozy! And with this, I would say that I feel it is ok to show a polish with such christmas inspired name :)

The polish is absolutely packed full of glitter in red and green. What makes me like this so much is that it is so tiny glitter particles. It does not look so awkward and weird as I sometimes think that some glitter polishes does. Nah, this is just great.

One can certainly have the polish completely alone, but I was a bit stingy and put it over another instead to make sure that this will last longer. I've tried on two different polishes namely Isadora Ancient Ruby and Zoya Elisa. Both results were very good.

Two layers of A Christmas Story, I have over the other paintwork and over this a layer of Poshé. Topcoat is necessary because otherwise it looks almost a bit dull. I really love this polish and it's sooo much nicer in reality than on the pictures.

Holofredag med Zoya Blaze

Fredag igen och ikväll är det dags för första julfesten!

Dagens lack är kanske inte världens mest holografiska, men ack så vackert! Det blev kärlek vid första ögonkastet när jag lackat på det här. Så därför bestämde jag att det fick vara med på Skimmerskuggans Holofredag.

På tal om att lacka på det här så får jag be om ursäkt om det är lite ojämt och topplacket är lite konstigt. Man ska helt enkelt inte sitta i sängen och lack under tiden man kollar på Pengarna på bordet och samtidigt spelar med i programmets Ipad app!

Tillbaka till Blaze. Från Zoyas Ornate kollektion, alltså deras julkollektion. Detta är en underbart röd eller kanske mer vinröd skönhet. På Zoyas sida beskrivs det som Mullbärs röd och det tycker jag nog stämmer rätt bra. Till skillnad från många andra holografiska skönheter är det här lacket även snyggt i skugga eller när man inte har en lampa som lyser direkt på. Som vanligt är Zoya lätta att applicera. Tre lager som torkar fort och bra. Sen skulle jag då lägga på ett lager Poshé och det var där ojämnheterna och lite konstigheter uppstod. Fick helt enkelt jämna lager och av någon anledning har det även gjort att lacket drog sig lite vilket retar mig rejält eftersom jag verkligen älskar att bära det här lacket och blir tjurig när det ser ut så där. Nu får ni ju i och för sig se vänsterhanden som inte blev så tokig.

Sammanfattningvis kan jag ju bara säga att det här är nog ett av mina favoritköp av jullacken. Ett annat jullack som jag verkligen är kär i kommer imorgon!

Friday again, and tonight it's time for this years first Christmas party!

Today's polish is perhaps not the most holographic,  but oh so beautiful! It was love at first sight when I painted with this. So therefore I decided it had to be on Skimmerskuggans Holofriday​​ anyway!

Speaking of applying polish, I have to apologize if it is a bit uneven and the topcoat is a bit strange. One should simply not sit on the bed and paint while you look at a quiz show on the tv and at the same time is following and playing along on the shows IPad app!

Back to Blaze. This is from Zoya's Ornate collection and that is their Christmas Collection this year. This is a wonderful red or maybe more burgundy beauty. At Zoyas webpage they describes it as Mullberry red and I think that probably tells it quite well. Unlike many other holographic beauties this polish is nicely even in shade or when you do not have a lamp shining directly on. As usual Zoya is easy to apply. Three layers that dries quickly and well. Then I did add a layer of Poshé and that was where the bumps and a little weirdness occurred. It got very uneven and also made som shrinkage on some fingers. Well you get to se my left hand and that's the one who looked the best the right hand... Oh no! This is to bad because I really loved wearing this polish and this got me to remove it earlier than I really wanted. But my guess is that I will be wearing this very soon again. 

In conclusion I can only say that this is probably one of my favorit purchase of polishes from 
Christmas collections. Another Christmas polish that I really am in love with will be here tomorrow!
