Superficially Colorful Lacquer - Utral Aymokriyä

Jag har fortfarande semester och vi har varit iväg på lite småutflykter och äntligen träffat våra släktingar. Snart färdig med firandet av födelsedagen. Idag blir en lugn dag hemma tror jag. 

Jag fortsätter att plocka fram lack från min samling och den här gången blev det Utral Aymokriyä från Superficially Colorful Lacquer. Jag tror att det här kommer från en Avatar kollektion. Lacket är ganska skarpt lila med holo. Fortfarande väldigt bra att måla med. Två lager och topplack är vad jag har på bilderna. 

Det här är fortfarande ett väldigt vackert lack, men jag tror minsann att det har tappat lite i färgen, för det var lite mer studs i färgen innan. Men som sagt fortfarande ett härligt lack. 

I'm still on vacation and we've been on some little excursions and finally met our relatives. Soon finished with the celebration of my birthday. Today will be a quiet day at home I think.

I continue to pick out polishes from my collection and this time it was Utral Aymokriyä from Superficially Colorful Lacquer's turn. I think this comes from an Avatar collection. The polish is a quite bright purple with holo. Still very good to paint with. Two coats and top coat are what I have in the pictures.

This is still a very beautiful polish, but I think it has lost a little in color, because there was a little more bounce in color before. But as I said, still a wonderful color and polish.

 

Superficially Colorful Lacquer - Ghouls Night Out

 Ledig dag igen, ska ändå ägna mig lite åt min kurs jag går, vi har en ganska stor inlämningsuppgift som jag känner är lika bra att börja på. Vädret verkar skönt så promenad står också på schemat. 

Idag tänker jag visa er ett lack som var med på min favoritlista från 2016. Lacket släpptes i en Halloweenkollektion 2015 av ett märke som hette, för jag har inte kunnat hitta märket på nätet så jag tror tyvärr inte det finns längre, Superficially Colorful Lacquer. Om jag inte minns helt tokigt så var det här ett Israeliskt märke. Jag köpte en hel del därifrån back in the days. Det här är Ghoul's Night Out ett mossgrönt holo, två lager är vad jag har på bilderna. Underbart att jobba med. 

Alltså den här färgen är bara så otroligt vacker. Fullkomligt älskar det här lacket och det kommer absolut att stanna i mina ägor. 

Free day again, will still devote a little to my course, we have a fairly large assignment that I feel is just as good to start with. The weather seems nice so walking is also on the schedule.

Today I am going to show you a polish that was on my favorite list from 2016. The polish was released in a Halloween collection in 2015 by a brand called, because I have not been able to find the brand online so I unfortunately do not think it exists anymore, Superficially Colorful Lacquer. If I remember correctly, this was an Israeli brand. I bought a lot from there back in the days. This is Ghoul's Night out a moss green holo, two layers is what I have in the pictures. Wonderful to work with.

This color is just so incredibly beautiful. Absolutely love this polish and it will definitely stay in my possession.

Abstract nail art

Har varit på familjehälsan en dag och praktiserat, mycket trevligt. Ännu ett ställe man kunde tänka sig att jobba på. Imorgon blir det hemmastudier igen. Måste ta tag i mitt liv och fortsätta läsa böcker om distansarbete. Får se hur vi ska fira makens födelsedag i helgen, blir nog rätt lugnt skulle jag tro.

Jag fick för mig att jag skulle göra lite nail art över Depend 599 så jag plockade fram lite nail vinyls av okänt märke, Superficially Color Lacquer I'm Just a Little Batty och ett dottingtool och satte igång.

Det kanske inte blev det vackraste nail arten jag någonsin gjort, men lite kul tycker jag nog ändå att det blev.

Have been to a family health unit one day at my internship, very nice. Another place I could think of to work at. Tomorrow there will be home studies again. Have to grab myself by the collar and keep reading books on telework. Not sure how we are going to celebrate my husband's birthday this weekend, will probably be pretty quiet I would think.

I figured I'd do some nail art over Depend 599 so I picked up some nail vinyls from an unknown brand, Superficially Color Lacquer I'm Just a Little Batty and a dotting tool and got started.

It might not be the most beautiful nail art I've ever done, but I still think it turned out kind of fun.

My top polishes 2016 part 2

Då är det dags för lista nummer två med favoriter från olika finishar. Men först gör jag som vanligt och bjuder på lite statistik.

När jag skrev förra årets lista hade jag den 28/12 2015 718 lack i min samling. Då hade jag minskat inköpen från 2014 ganska rejält. Jag vet att jag minskat inköpen rätt en hel del under 2016, men jag har samtidigt fått en hel del pressutskick och lacken från min älskade födelsedagsgrupp och adventskalender fyller på en del, så låt oss ta en titt på hur statistiken ser ut nu. Idag är det den 3/1 2017 och i min helt uppdaterade lista finns 856 lack, dock är det här en sanning med modifikation då alla presslacken inte är med här. Bara de som faktiskt visats. Jag har under året sålt av en del lack också så den här siffran betyder att jag under 2016 ökat min samling med 138 lack vilket betyder 11,5 lack per månad. 2015 var siffran 7,75. Jag trodde nog faktiskt att siffran skulle vara lägre, men jag ser det som så här: Lack gör mig lycklig och alltså är varenda ett en investering i glädje.

Jag ska fortsätta att försöka dra ner på inköpen dock, min inkomst är typ 0 just nu och jag har ju faktiskt ett och annat att använda redan ;)

Men nu till dagens lista.

So it's time for list number two with my favorites from various finishes. But first, I will as usual bring you some statistics.

When I wrote last year's list I had 718 polishes in my collection the 28th of December 2015. I had reduced my purchases from 2014 quite significantly. I know that my purchases have gone done a lot in 2016, but I have also received a lot of press samples and polishes from my beloved's birthday Group and from the Adventcalendar that makes up for that. So let's take a look at how the statistics looks now. Today is the 3d of January 2017 and my fully updated list says 856 polishes, however, this is a truth with modification because all of the press samples is not included here. Only those who actually been written about. During the year I sold off  pretty many polishes too so this figure means I in 2016 increased my collection with 138 polishes which means 11.5 polishes per month. In 2015 the figure was 7.75. I actually thought that the figure would be lower, but I see it like this: Polishes makes me happy and so is every one an investment in joy.

I'll continue to try and cut down on purchases since my income is kind of zero right now and to be honest I think I have one or two polishes that I can use already ;)

My top polishes 2016 part 1

Återigen ett riktigt GOTT NYTT ÅR! till er allihopa. Det har blivit en tradition att lista mina favoriter från det gångna året och som vanligt har jag valt att göra det i färg och finish kategorier.

Idag blir det färgkategorierna som presenteras och även i år har jag valt att inte välja bland lacken som kom ut 2016 utan bland de lack som jag visade 2016. Alltså kan det vara äldre lack som jag har gillat bäst.

What happened to my 2015 favorites? Part 1

Så här på årets sista dagar bjuder traditionen att jag ska redogöra för vad som faktiskt hände med mina favoriter bland lacken förra året. En tradition som oftast blir ganska pinsam, men ändå känns lite intressant.

Det jag går igenom är om jag har använt favoriterna under det gångna året och om jag faktiskt har kvar dom i min samling. Som den lackgalning jag är brukar den här listan få mig att förstå att jag nog ska dra ner lite på min konsumtion och ge de redan existerande lacken lite mer kärlek.

När jag gör mina topplistor brukar de vara uppdelade i färg och finish och så är även de här inläggen. Texterna under bilderna kommer att vara på engelska så jag slipper att skriva dubbelt.

This year is soon over and a fresh one will start. This is a season for traditions and one of the traditions at Lacky Corner is to go through the of my favorites from the year before this and check if I have used them again or if I still have them in my collection. A tradition that usually gets quite embarrassing, but still feels a bit interesting.

As the polish hoarder I am this list usually makes me think that maybe I should stop buying more and instead give some love to those who already are in my collection. 

My top lists are divided into color and finishes and so will this post be.

Purrfect Pawlish Sleepy Hollow gorgeous brown but somebody I know needed this more than me so I gave it away.

A-England Jane Morris and no it has not been used this year.

OPI Green On The Runway this is starting to become really embarrassing becasue this beauty has not been used 2016.

Purrfect Pawlish Yellow Lion. Would dare to take a guess... No pricemoney though. No it hasn't been used again.

Superficially Colorful Lacquer - Giggly

Blev ett sent inlägg idag. Försöker städa huset, men det går sakta när man har värsta förkylningen i kroppen.

Jag har ingen aning om hur länge det här lacket har stått i min låda, men det är ett bra tag är jag rädd. Jag var faktiskt lite orolig att det skulle ha påverkat thermoeffekten i lacket, men se det hade det inte alls.

Lacket är Giggly från Superficially Colorful Lacquer och det är som sagt ett thermolack. Skiftningarna går mellan rosa och lila och det har dessutom ett väldigt vackert skimmer i sig. Jag har målat med två lager och på bilderna har jag topplack också. Det var riktigt trevligt att jobba med och torktiden var bra.

Det är klara och tydliga skiftningar i lacket. När det är varmt är det rosa och kallt lila. Nu har jag inte så värst långa fria tippar, misstänker att det skulle vara ännu tydligare mellan varmt och kallt då. Jag måste säga att jag gillar det här skarpt. Det är kul med thermolack, speciellt nu på höst och vinterkanten när dom verkligen kommer till sin rätt i och med temperaturskillnaderna både ute och inne i kroppen.

Late post today. I'm trying to clean the house, but it goes very slowly because of my cold from hell that has invaded my body.

I have no idea how long this polish has been in standing in my drawer, but it's quite a while, I'm afraid. I was actually a bit worried that it would have affected the thermoeffect in the polish, but luckily I was wrong about that. 

The polish is Giggly from Superficially Colorful Lacquer and it's as I said a thermo polish. The shifts are between pink and purple and it also has a very beautiful shimmer in it. I have painted with two coats and in the pictures I have topcoat on. It was really nice to work with and the drying time was good.

It's clear shifts in this polish. When it is hot, it is pink and when it's cold it's purple. I don't have that very long free tips so I suspect it would be even clearer between hot and cold if you do. I must say that I like this a lot. It's fun with thermo polishes, especially now in the autumn / winter this is when they really come into their best because of the temperature differences both outside and inside the body.

 

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Spring Fashion # 4

Sista inlägget med vårmode inspirerade naglar. Det jag är speciellt nöjd med denna månaden är att jag använt mig av fyra olika typer av nail art till mina manikyrer. Började med vattendekaler, sen dry brush, ränder med nail vinyls och nu till slut stämpling.

Faktum är att jag hade målat med Superficially Colorful Lacquers I'm Just A Little Batty och kände att det nästan krävde att jag stämplade med silver på det. Så jag fick helt enkelt leta reda på ett klädesplagg som stämde överens med detta. På Zalando hittade jag en klänning från Vero Moda som passade ypperligt till detta.

Klänningen är svart i botten och har sen gråa/silvriga trollsländor tryckt på tyget. Tänka sig att jag råkade ha ett mönster med trollsländor på Uberchic 4-01 som jag stämplade över I'm Just A Little Batty med MoYou London Silver Dust.

Satt och log stort när jag gjorde den här manikyren för att jag blev så himla nöjd. Svart och silver är så himla fint ihop. Och tolkningen av klänningen är ju rätt spot-on.

Last post with spring fashion inspired nails. What I am particularly pleased with this month is that I have used four different types of nail art techniques for my manicures. I began with water decals, then dry brush after that striped nails with the help of vinyls and now finally stamping.

In fact, I had painted with Superficially Colorful Lacquers I'm Just A Little Batty and felt that it almost demanded that I did some stamping with silver on it. So I simply had to look for a piece of clothing that was consistent with that. On Zalando, I found a dress from Vero Moda that suited excellent for this purpose.

The dress is black and has gray / silver dragonflies printed on the fabric. And can you imagine that I happened to have a stamping plate with dragonflie pattern on laying around. Uberchic 4-01 and I have stamped over I'm Just A Little Batty with MoYou London Silver Dust.

I sat and had a big smile on my face when I did this manicure because I was so very pleased with it. Black and silver works so amazingly well together. And the interpretation of the dress's pretty spot-on.
