My Top 5 Blue Polishes!

Då tar vi tag i mina fem favoriter bland blåa lack. Ännu ett gäng som det var svårt att välja ut och jag inser nu att tre av de fem är ganska likartade faktiskt, men inte dupes på något sätt.

Givetvis så vill jag veta vilka dina favoriter är så lämna gärna en kommentar.

Låt oss börja.

So lets get in to my top five among blue polishes. Another color that I had a hard time chosing the polishes for and I realise that three of them are very similar, but not dupes. 

And I would of course love to know what your favorites are so please leave a comment.

Let's begin. 

Lite oväntat kanske, men en av mina absoluta favoriter är från Depend och kom ut i höstas. Den har nr 422 och är en helt underbar mörkblå skimmer. Tyvärr så är det här inte ett lack som ingår i deras bassortiment vilket är väldigt synd tycker jag.

A bit unexpected maybe but one of my absolute favorites is from Swedish Depend and was released with their autumn collection last year. It has number 422 and is a stunning dark blue shimmer. Unfortunately this is not part of their core collection and that is a shame according to me. 

Mentality Brute är också ett sånt där lack som jag tittade på länge innan jag äntligen fick det i en swap med en tjej från Kanada har jag för mig. Och vad jag tycker om det här. Det är ett matt lack och ytan blir len som sammet. Älskar verkligen känslan av den här finishen och så har det ju en så fantastiskt fin blå färg.

Mentality Brute is also one of those polishes that I wanted for soo long and finally got through a swap with a Canadian girl I think. And how I love this polish. It is a matte polish and the surface feels like velvet. I really love the feeling of that finish and the color. It's just stunning. 

Och nu kommer vi till ett av dom tre lacken som är rätt lika. Både till färg och finish. Det här är Dagon från Purrfect Pawlish ett lack som är så ljuvligt glittrigt att det inte går att få fram på bild. Mörkt blått fullpackat med prismatiskt och blått glitter. Kan inte säga så mycket mer än att jag älskar det.

And now to the first of the three polishes that are very similar. Both in color and finish. This is Dagon from Purrfect Pawlish a polish that is so amazingly glittery that you can't really show it on photos. Dark blue filled with prismatic and blue glitter. I can't really say much more than I love it!

Nu till ett lack som jag är så oerhört glad att jag äger eftersom det inte går att få tag på längre. Det är The Dynamos från det svenska Indiemärket Brite Bird. Det här är mörkt blått med massor av silverglitter i. Det ser ut som en härlig stjärnhimmel på naglarna. Jag använder det inte superofta eftersom jag är lite rädd om dom dyrbara dropparna.

And now to a polish that I'm so glad that I have because it's not possible to find anymore. It's The Dynamos from the Swedish Indie Brand Brite Bird. It's a dark blue jelly with tons of silverglitter. It looks like a starry sky on your nails. I don't use it that often because it's too precious to me. 

Och det sista av de blåa är L.A Girl 3D Effect Brilliant Blue ännu ett helt ljuvligt blått lack med massa prismatiskt glitter i. Dock upplever jag det här som något ljusare än mina andra två favoriter och lite annorlunda i finishen. I vilket fall som helst så är det ännu ett lack som jag älskar. Tyvärr så verkar inte det här att gå att få tag på heller längre, men Zoya har ett som är i princip en dupe på det. Ja, det är faktiskt Zoya lacket som är en dupe vilket jag tycker är kul.

And the last of the blue ones is L.A Girl 3D Effect Brilliant Blue another amazing blue polish with prismatic glitter. But I think that this is a bit lighter than the other two favorites and also a bit different in the finish. Any how this is yet another polish that I just love. Unfortunaly this doesn't seem to be manufactured anymore but Zoya has a polish that is more or less a dupe for this. And yes it's actually the Zoya polish that is the dupe because this came first.

Tema Svenskt! / A Swedish Theme - Brite Birds The Dynamo

Tänkte att jag inte bara skulle visa upp lackmärken som är enkla att få tag på den här veckan. Nä, vi har faktiskt två Indiemärken i det här landet också. Säkerligen finns det flera, men det är dom två jag känner till och ett av dom visar jag idag och det andra kommer också att visas. Om du känner till något mer svenskt märke vill jag gärna att du kommenterar och talar om vilket. Inhemska märken ska självklart prioriteras!

Det finns en fantastiskt duktig och kreativ tjej bland oss bloggare som heter Sanna och har bloggen Make Up My Lack. Tidigare har hon också sålt lack under sitt eget märke Brite Bird. Just nu ligger shoppen nere, men jag misstänker att det är många med mig som hoppas att den en dag ska öppna igen.

Jag har inte många lack som jag känner att det gör något om det skulle ta slut, men det här gör det. Lacket heter The Dynamos och märke är ju då som sagt Brite Bird. Anledningen är ju så klart att jag kan inte få tag på det här igen. Inte ens väldigt dyrt på ebay.

Lacket är ett blått crelly, tror jag, för det känns inte riktigt som en jelly med massa, massa blå och silvriga microglitter i det. Den här gången valde jag att lägga det över China Glaze Man Hunt just för att inte slösa för mycket och då har jag två lager för att få upp djupet ordentligt i lacket. Om man använder det för sig själv räcker det med tre lager för full täckning. Över alltihopa har jag Fast forward.

Det här är vackert. Som kärlek i en liten flaska. Det är också det närmaste jag kommer Essie Starry Starry Night det är i och för sig något mörkare i basen, men konceptet känns lika. Jag tror att det här är ett av de vackraste lacken i min samling faktiskt.

I would like to show you something completely different from the mainstream brands that you have seen so far this week. In Sweden we don't have a lot of Indiebrand makers but I do know of two brands and today I will show you one of them. The other will have a post of it's own. If you happens to know of any other Swedish Indiepolish please let me know.

There is a fantastic creative and talented girl among us bloggers called Sanna and her blog is called Make Up My Lack. She has also sold polishes from her own brand Brite Bird before, but right now the brand is on hiatus. I do suspect that there are many of us who hope that one day she will open her shop again

I don't have a lot of polishes that I feel that I would get sad if the bottle would get empty but this is one of them or maybe the only one I have.  The polish is called The Dynamos and the brand as I said Brite Bird. The reason I treasure this so much is because I can't get another bottle not even very expensive on ebay.

The polish is a blue crelly, I think, because it does not feel like a jelly with lots and lots of blue and silver micro glitter in it. This time I chose to put it over China Glaze Man Hunt just to save the precious drops. I have two layers over that. to make the depth of the polish pop up. If you use it on it's own you need three layers for coverage. And then I have a layer of Fast Forward on top. 

This is beautiful. Like love in a small bottle. It is also the closest to Essie Starry Starry Night I will ever get even though SSN is darker at the base, but the concept seems similar. I think this is one of the most beautiful polishes in my collection actually.

T = The Dynamos - Brite Bird

The Dynamos är ett lack från Brite Bird som Sanna på Make up my lack står bakom. förutom att namnet får mig att tänka på en av mina absoluta må bra filmer nämligen Mamma Mia där huvudpersonen hade en grupp som hette Donna & The Dynamos så är det också ett av de lacken som jag är mest nöjd med att jag köpt av alla Indiemärken som florerar där ute.

Det är ett navyblått lack fullpackat med silver och ljusare blå glitter. När jag började applicera kändes det som ett jellylack, men det vill jag inte påstå direkt att det är. Formulan är perfekt och torktiden var riktigt bra. Penslen var lite för mjuk tyckte jag, men helt hanterbar. Jag har tre lager på för att det skulle ge täckning. Tror att det kan vara bra att använda det här ovanpå något blått cremelack för att slippa slösa för mycket på det.

Jag är väldigt impad av lackets egenskaper och av det absolut strålande resultatet. Ser ut som en liten stjärnhimmel. Har läst någonstans att det här har jämförts med Essies Starry Starry Night, men jag kan inte säga något om likheten eftersom jag inte äger det lacket.

 

Idag blir det även en extra bild. Lacket heter ju ändå något med Bird och min lilla blåa fina Undulat har inte fått vara med här en enda gång än. Äldste sonen tyckte inte Tonks skulle få vara med idag heller eftersom han anser att det här Undulatherren inte är speciellt Brite...

This my friends is a polish that I absolutely love!

The Dynamos are a polish from Brite Bird that Sanna from Make up my lack stands behind. Except that the name makes me think of one of my feel good movies namely Mamma Mia where the main character had a group named Donna & The Dynamos, it is also one of the polishes that I'm most pleased that I bought from all the Indie labels that flourishes out there.

It is a navyblue lacquer packed with silver and light blue glitter. When I started applying it felt like a jelly coat, but I would not say directly that it is. The formula is perfect and the drying time was really good. The brush  was a little too soft, I thought, but quite manageable. I have three layers on for coverage. I think it might be good to use this on top of a blue creme polish to avoid wasting too much of it.

I'm very impressed with this polish both the excellent formula and the end result that is brilliant. Looks like a starry sky. Have read somewhere that this has been compared to Essie Starry Starry Night, but I can not say anything about the similarity because I do not own the polish.

Today I will also give you a bonus picture of my beautiful blue Spangled Budgie Tonks! The brand name has after all bird in it!

Har det också trillat in en del trevliga saker i min brevlåda! Och jag vet att det kommer att trilla in mera veckan som kommer. För då räknar jag med att mina Nailmail lack kommer och ett paket från Llarowe med mera Ozotics.

Summan som jag skrev i Nailtastics Söndagsenkät har nog varit lite högre den här månaden tror jag, men om man slår ut det på ett år så stämmer nog det jag skrev där rätt bra.
