Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Darling Diva Polish Exuberant

Nä, hörrni det här var faktiskt inge vidare. Det verkar som att den här veckan är min visa glitterlack som jag inte gillar vecka.

Darling Diva Polish Exuberant består av en mjölkig jellybas fylld med glitter i olika storlekar och glada färger, även microglitter. Det jag gillar med det här lacket är att det är cirkelglitter vilket jag tycker mer om än hexagoner. Jag gillar basfärgen också.

Men.. Lacket är som klister. Jättetjockt och kletigt. Det går väl förmodligen att åtgärda med Seche Restore, men det hade jag ju inte gjort nu. Och precis som med Yuletide som jag visade häromdagen så tycker jag att det blir för mycket glitter. En bra sak är dock att jag enbart har två lager på bilderna. Och jag tyckte att det räckte alldeles utmärkt.

Nej, det här blev ingen favorit, men nu har jag i alla fall provat det. Misstänker att det lär hamna på min blogsale rätt som det är.

Till nästa vecka har jag plockat fram lite bortglömde använda lack som ni får välja på.

Oh no, this is not very neat. It seems that this is the week I show glitter polish that I don't like.

Darling Diva Polish Exuberant consists of a milky jellybase filled with glitter in various sizes and cheerful colors, even micro glitter. What I like about this polish is that it is circular glitter which I prefere over hexagons. I like the base color too.

But .. The polish is like glue. Really thick and sticky. I guess you can fix that with Seche Restore, but I didn't have time for that when I painted with this. And just like Yuletide that I showed the other day I think it's too much glitter in it. One good thing is that I only have two layers in the pictures. And I you really don't need more than that.

No, this was not a favorite, but now I at least have tried it. Suspect that it'll end up on my blog sale some day.

Purrfect Pawlish - A Mother's Love

Idag blir det bildspam för det tycker jag att det här lacket är värt. Verkligen värt. Det här är ett nytt lack från Purrfect Pawlish som kommer släppas den 1/5 och är ett mors dags lack kallat A Mother's Love.

Ett rött lack med holo. Inte jättestark holo, men alldeles lagom för att göra lacket mer intressant och ge det mycket mer djup. Rött, men åndä lite dragning åt rosa kan jag tycka.

Bra att måla med, täcker på två lager och torktiden är helt normal. Penslen är ok, men hade gärna fått vara lite rundad faktiskt.

Alltså jag är helt förtjust i det här. Jag faller lätt för röda lack och om jag nu inte redan haft det här så hade jag blivit överlycklig över att kanske få det som mors dags present. Eller varför inte ge sig själv en present för att man är värd det.

Från den 1/5 kommer det här att finnas att få tag på hos Purrfect Pawlish.

Today you will get a lot of pictures because I think this polish is worth that. This is a new polish from Purrfect Pawlish which will be released on the 1st of May it's a polish for Mothers Day that is the 31th of May in Sweden and is called A Mother's Love.

A red polish with holo. Not very strong holo, but just enough to make the polish more interesting and give it more depth. Red, but still a little hint of pink, I think.

It's really nice to paint with and covers in two layers and the drying time is completely normal. The brush in this bottle is ok, but I would have been happy if it had been a little rounded, actually.

So I am really fond of this polish. I fall easily for red polishes and if I have not already had this, I had been overjoyed to maybe get it as a Mother's Day gift. Or why not give yourself a gift because you're worth it.

ABC Challenge - Y = Reverie Nail Lacquer Yuletide

Det här är faktiskt det näst sista inlägget i vårt ABC Challenge och bokstaven idag är Y. Det här är det första lacket jag provar från Reverie Nail Lacquer och det heter Yuletide. Kanske lite fel årstid att visa just det här lacket, men det är ju på rätt bokstav!

Yuletide är ett helt galet glitter lack, faktiskt lite för galet för mig. Basen är en skogsgrön jelly som sen är helt packad med glitter i både olika storlekar och färger och lite prismatiskt också för den delen. Det är helt klart ett kul lack, men som sagt kanske inte något direkt för mig.

Däremot var det trevligt att lacka med. Jag har tre lager på bilderna och det var både lätt att få med glittren upp ur flaskan och att få dom att sprida sig på naglarna. Torktiden var också riktigt bra.

Man kan ju inte tycka om allt och meningen med den här utmaningen är ju att använda dom där som har blivit stående länge i lådan. Och jag vet precis varför det här har blivit det. Dels faktiskt för att spara det till den här utmaningen, men även också för att jag hade på känn att jag inte riktigt skulle trivas i det. Och jag fick rätt.

This is actually the penultimate post in our ABC Challenge and the letter today is Y. This is the first polish I try from Reverie Nail Lacquer and it's Yuletide. Maybe a little wrong season to show this polish judging by it's name but it's name is with the right letter!

Yuletide is a crazy glitter polish, actually a little too crazy for me. The base is a forest green jelly which then is completely packed with glitter in both different sizes and colors and some prismatic for that matter. There is clearly a fun polish but as I said maybe not something for me.

However, it was nice to paint with. I have three layers in the pictures and it was both easy to get the glitters up from the bottle and getting them to spread on the nails. The drying time was also really good.

One can not like all polishes you try and the meaning of this challenge was of course to use those that has for some reasone been standing a long time in the box. And I know why this has been standing. Partly actually to save it to this challenge, but also because I had a feeling that I wouldn't really enjoy it. And I was right.

Suki Waves!

Ibland får man för sig att testa färgkombinationer som inte borde blivit ok. Som t.ex när man har Smitten Endless Sunset på naglarna och plockar fram Mundo De Unas 72 Mint en lite udda kombo kan tyckas, men jag kunde inte låta bli att testa.

Jag hittade ett mönster på MoYou London Suki Collection 01 plattan som ser ut som vågor och gav mig på projektet.

Och ta mig tusan om det inte funkade riktigt bra ihop!

Sometimes you get ideas of testing color combinations that is not obvious that they will work together. Such as when you have Smitten Endless Sunset on the nails and brings up Mundo De Unas 72 Mint which is a bit odd combo, but I could not resist testing.

I found a pattern on MoYou London Suki Collection 01 plate that looks like waves and started my project.

And I'll be damned they did work really well together!

ABC Challenge - X or a number = Perfect 69

Något lack vars märke eller namn började på X hade jag inte så jag fick köra på en siffra istället. Idag visar jag mitt sista Perfect lack som har nummer 69 (tror jag).

Märket är från Ungern och jag har fått dom genom ett byte för länge sedan. Det här lacket ser ut att vara skiftande mellan grått och lila i flaskan och det är det nog också, men väldigt blygsamt får jag lov att säga. Visst skiftar det, men man får stå där det är bra ljus för att se det.

I vilket fall som helst så var det smidigt att måla med. Täcker på tre lager. Däremot var torktiden lite seg tyckte jag.

Lacket är fint, men inte något som man blir hänförd av direkt. Ett mellanlack helt enkelt.

 

I didn't have any polishes with a brand or name that started on the letter X so I had to take one with only a number instead today. This is the last polish that I have from Perfect and it's called  69 (I think).

The brand is from Hungary and I have got them through a swap long ago. This polish looks as it should be shifting between gray and purple in the bottle and it probably is too, but with a very shy shift. Sure it changes, but one must stand where there is good light to see it.

In any case, it was easy to paint with. Covers in three layers. The drying time is a bit slow though.

The polish is nice but not something that one gets mesmerized by. One of those polishes that you like but maybe wont be using again.
