Laquerlicious - Harvest Moon & Sweet September

Igår dök det upp ett paket från Katarina på Edgy Polish med lite nailart saker jag beställt och dessutom tre skönheter från ett för mig nytt märke, Laquerlicious. Närmare bestämt tre lack från deras nya höstkollektion.

Idag tänkte jag faktiskt visa två lack i samma inlägg. Börjar sent och hade tid att måla lite på morgonen.

Harvest Moon är ett tealfärgat eller möjligen mörkgrönt lack bestående av massa microglitter som även innefattar lite prismatiskt glitter. Dom här är inte så framträdande på mina foton, men gnistrar desto mer i verkligheten.

Jag var tveksam om det skulle kunna täcka på egen hand, men som vanligt hade jag fel. Jag har fyra lager på bilderna, men tre borde faktiskt räcka. Appliceringen var smidig och så även torktiden.

Yesterday I got a shipment from Katarina at Edgy Polish with some nailart stuff I ordered and she also sent me three beauties from a new brand for me, Laquerlicious. Three polishes from their new fall collection. 

Today I actually will show you two polishes in the same post. I start work late late and had time to paint a little in the morning. 

Harvest Moon is a tealcolored or possibly dark green polish consisting of lots of micro glitter that also includes some prismatic glitter. These things are not so prominent on my photos, but sparkles so much more in reality. 

I was doubtful whether it would be able to cover on it's own, but as usual I was wrong. I have four layers in the pictures, but three should actually be enough. The application was smooth and so also the drying time. 


Sweet September må se lite tråkigt ut i flaskan, men jag tycker det är långt ifrån tråkigt på naglarna. Nä, tvärtemot. Det händer väldigt mycket i det här lacket faktiskt. Basen är grå, men det finns jättefina skiftningar mot lila i lacket plus att jag upplever det som att det är lite prismatiskt glitter i det här också.

Det här lacket är mycket tjockare i konsistensen än Harvest Moon. Smidigt att lacka med, men något lite längre torktid än Harvest Moon, skulle dock inte vilja säga att den är lång på något sätt. Jag har tre lager, men även här har jag tagit i i överkant för två räcker nog egentligen.

Mitt första möte med Laquerlicious lär inte bli mitt sista, lacken är väldigt fina och dessutom bra att måla med. Jag gillade dessutom penseln som var lätt att få fina kanter med.

Jag suktar redan efter mer från den här höstkollektionen och dessutom finns det en fin Halloween kollektion.

Sweet September may look a little boring in the bottle, but I think it's far from boring on the nails. Nah, contrary. It happens a lot in this polish actually. The base is gray, but there are really nice shiftss towards purple in the polish plus I think it looks like there is some prismatic glitter in this too. 

This polish is a lot thicker in consistency than Harvest Moon. Convenient to paint with, but something a little longer drying time than Harvest Moon, however, I would not say that it is long in any way. I have three layers, but here I have taken the safe side again so I guess two could have been enough. 

My first encounter with Laquerlicious will not be my last, the polishes looks lovely and is really nice to paint with. I also liked the brush very much it was easy to get nice edges with it without needing to do any cleenup. 

I already have my eyes on more from the fall collection and their Halloween collection.

GOT Polish Challenge - Brown

Jag visste direkt vilket lack jag ville visa i denna omgångens sista GOT Polish Challenge när temat var brunt.

Brunt är absolut inte min favoritfärg. Varken på lack eller något annat, men det finns ett lack som jag faktiskt längtat lite efter att plocka fram. Ett lack som jag inte visat sen någon gång tidigt 2012 och som passar in perfekt på temat och ändå är ett lack som jag och många med mig älskar.

Lacket är Warm & Fozzie från OPI. Jag skulle nog vilja påstå att det här kommer från en av OPI:s mest hypade och också en väldigt bra kollektion, nämligen The Muppets collection som kom ut som julkollektion 2011.

Warm & Fozzie är i och för sig ett brunt lack, men det finns så mycket koppar, guld, lila och faktiskt grönt i det också att det ser helt underbart ut på naglarna. Lite skirt är det, men tre lager täcker och jag kan liksom inte låta bli att skämmas lite över att min flaska enbart är använd en enda gång innan.

Sen bestämde jag mig för att faktiskt ta fram och använda lite av alla nailart grejer som jag har liggande så det fick bli lite guldnitar också för att stärka lyxkänslan i lacket.

I knew immediately which polish I wanted to show in this rounds last GOT Polish Challenge where the theme is brown. 

Brown is certainly not my favorite color. Neither on polishes or anything else, but there is a polish that I actually have been longing to use for a while now.  A polish that I have not shown since sometime early in 2012 and that fits in perfectly with the theme and still is a polish that I and many others love. 

The polish is Warm & Fozzie from OPI. I'd like to say that this comes from one of OPI's most hyped and also a very good collection, namely The Muppets collection that came out as Christmas collection 2011. 

Warm & Fozzie is in itself a brown polish, but there is so much copper, gold, purple and green in it that makes it look amazing on your nails. A little sheer,  but three layers makes it cover and I can not help but feel a little ashamed that my bottle is only used one time before. 

I also decided to actually use some of my nailart stuff that I have lying around so I did put some goldstuds on to strengthen the luxury feeling of this polish.

Zoya - Yuna

Andra lacket ut från Zoya Ignite kollektionen blir Yuna. Ett lack som jag i flaskan tyckte såg grått ut och även på Zoyas hemsida så beskrivs det som en varm grå, men jag tycker det finns väldigt mycket grönt i det också. Och så det fantastiska guldskimret ocksån förstås.

Det här lacket kanske inte är något superunikt, jag har en klar känsla av att jag har något liknande, men det spelar ju inte så stor roll. Jag tycker verkligen det här är suveränt snyggt. En färg som jag trivs mycket bra i och som dessutom känns perfekt såhär på hösten. Jo, för det är faktiskt höst nu.

Det är Zoya vi pratar om, alltså smidigt att måla med, men precis som med Sansa så tyckte jag att det behövdes tre lager. Jag har topplack över också.

Jag gjorde som så den här gången att jag tog lacket ur kollektionen som lockade mig minst och om det här lockar minst hur fina är då inte resterande lack?

The second polish that I show you from the Zoya Ignite collection is Yuna. A polish that I thought looked grey in the bottle and even on Zoya's website it is described as a warm gray, but I think there are a lot of green in it too. And so the amazing goldshimmer of course.

This polish may not be something super unique, I have a distinct feeling that I have something similar, but it doesn't matter because I really think this is supremely stylish. A color that I feel very comfortable in and that also seems like a perfect autumn color. Because even if you don't want to admit it the autumn is here. Well that is if you live in Sweden any way. 

It's Zoya we're talking about so it's easy to paint with, but just as with Sansa I thought it needed three layers. I have a topcoat over too. 

This time I choosed the one polish from the collection that I felt less drawn to and if this attracts me the least how beautiful aren't the remaining polishes going to be!

Depend - 419

Herrejösses vilken skönhet detta är! Jag pratar om Depend 419 en av höstens nyheter från märket. En mörk lilla och precis som med 422 och 426 så är det ett ganska svärtat lack, men ändå med ett djup som är helt fantastiskt.

Jag har läst att en del tycker att det är väldigt likt Chanel Taboo, jo, det är det nog med dupes är dom definitivt inte. Men jag kanske borde göra en jämförelse vid något tillfälle för säkerhets skull.

Lacket var smidigt att måla med även om penseln i min flaska var lite spretig, vilket jag känner är väldigt ovanligt för Depend. I min mening så har dom en av de bättre penslarna faktiskt. Två lager räcker för att täcka och jag har ett lager med Gn'S The Shining över.

Det här var absolut ett sånt där lack som jag satt och gjorde små glada och nöjda tillrop åt när jag applicerade det. Jag tyckte det såg fint ut i flaskan och jag tyckte det var vackert när jag målade på sticka, men jag hade nog faktiskt inte förväntat mig att det skulle vara så himla fint som det är på naglarna. Hittar ni en flaska, köp den!

Oh my God what  a beauty this is! I'm talking about Depend 419 one of the autumn news from the brand. A dark purple and just as with the 422 and 426 it's a pretty blackened polish, yet with a depth that is absolutely amazing. 

I have read that some think it's very similar to Chanel Taboo, yes, it is but I would dare to say that they are definitely not dupes. But maybe I should do a comparison at some point in case. 

The polish was easy to paint with, even if the brush in my bottle was a bit fuzzy, which I feel is very rare for Depend. In my opinion, they have one of the better brushes actually. Two layers are enough to cover and I have a stock of Gn's The Shining over. 

This was definitely one of those polishes that I sat and made small happy and pleased noises when I applied it. I thought it looked nice out in the bottle and I thought it was beautiful when I painted on a displaystick, but I probably wasn't expecting it to be so damn good as it is on the fingernails. If you find a bottle, buy it!

NCLA - Red Rebel, Rose

Idag är det dags för ännu ett lack från NCLA ett mörkt blodrött crelly. Jag kan börja med att säga att jag älskar färgen. Vampig och snygg, men tyvärr så höll inte det är lacket riktigt samma mått som de andra NCLA lacken jag provat.

Det blev strimmigt och var svårt att få snyggt. Sen är det ju en crelly eller kanske till och med en jelly och jag vet med mig att jag har lite svårt att få dom fina, så det kan vara min målningsteknik som ställer till det.

Jag har i alla fall tre lager och på bilderna är det inget topplack, så glansigheten är det då rakt inget fel på.

Som sagt helt underbar färg, men inte lika kul formula.

Today it's time for yet another polish from NCLA a dark blood red crelly. I can start by say that I love the color. Vampy and stylish, but unfortunately this polish did not match the others I have tried from the brand when it comes to paint with it. 

It became very streaky when I painted with it and was difficult to get even. But then it's a crelly or maybe even a jelly and I know that I rarely like painting with that finish so it may be my painting technique that causes it. 

I have three layers on and in the pictures there are no top coat, so as you can see there is nothing wrong with the glossiness in it. 

As I said it's an absolutely gorgeous color, but not as fun formula.
