My Birthday Group!

Som ni vet sen tidigare så är jag med i en Facebookgrupp som heter Födelsedagslack. Det hela går ut på att alla vi som är med har en tilldelad födelsedagsmånad och den månaden skickar alla var sitt paket till dig.

Jag fyller år i Juli och då har jag även min månad i gruppen och idag tänkte jag dela med mig av alla de fantastiska lack som jag fick i år. Det var även en hel del andra fina presenter i paketen, men dom har jag faktiskt inte fotat.

I gruppen är vi 24 medlemmar och det är som julafton eller födelsedag varje dag under den månaden som är din när paketen dimper ner i brevlådan och man får öppna.

As I have mentioned before I'm a member of a Birthday Group at Facebook. We are 24 ladies that all have a special month asigned as your birthday month. And when your month is going on all the other girls will send you a present. In form of a polish.

My real birthday is in July and that is also my birthday month in the group so today I want to show you all the lovely polishes I got from my friends in the group this year. 

I can assure you that everyday that month is like Christmas or a Birthday when you go to the mailbox and then get to open all the presents. 

Nailart Sunday - Margaritaville Flowers

Sista semesterdagen är här och jag har sällan haft sån ångest över att behöva sätta klockan och gå och jobba imorgon. Nåja, jag vet ju att jag egentligen tycker det är rätt skönt sen när vardagsrutinerna är tillbaka igen.

Idag är det Nailart Sunday och jag tänkte visa er samma lack som jag visade igår, Liquid Sky Lacquer Margaritaville,  men med lite stamping ovanpå. Jag fick för ett tag sedan hem Pueen Encore plattorna och nu var det äntligen dags att testa. Mönstret hittade jag på SE02A och det svarta lacket är från Mundo De Unas.

Jag blev väldigt nöjd med resultatet även om jag fick testa mig fram en del för att hitta en stämpel som ville plocka upp ordentligt från den plattan.

The last day of my summer vacation is here and I have rarely had such a anxiety about having to put on the alarmclock tonight and go to work tomorrow. Oh well, I know I really think it's quite nice when the daily routines are back again. 

It's Nailart Sunday today and I will show you the same polish as I showed yesterday, Liquid Sky Lacquer Margaritaville, but with a little stamping on top. I while ago I got the Pueen Encore plates and now it was finally time to test. I found the pattern on SE02A and the black lacquer is from Mundo De Unas. 

I was very pleased with the result even though it took a bit of testing to find a stamper that worked well on those plates.

Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Liquid Sky Lacquer Margaritaville

Jag har testat ett lack innan som var thermolack, men det var ganska svårt att få att ändra färg, så är inte fallet med lacket som ni valde åt mig till denna veckan.

Liquid Sky Lacquer Margaritaville är ett grönt thermolack som dessutom är lite holo i. Det skiftar från ljusgrönt när det är varmt och mörkare grönt när nageln är kallare.

Faktum är att jag blev löjligt förtjust i det här lacket just på grund av skiftningarna. För det är ju så att mest ser det här ut som man har gjort en snygg gradient hela tiden. Och vem gillar inte det!

Det var dessutom smidigt att lacka med. Jag har två lager på och visst ett tredje kanske inte hade skadat, men är inte absolut nödvändigt. Torkade fort gjorde det också.

På bilderna har jag inget topplack, för jag visste inte riktigt om det skulle påverka effekten av lacket. Jag har lagt på Insta-Dri efteråt och kan glatt konstatera att det spelar ingen roll. Effekten kvarstår.

Alltså kan jag bara säga så här. Vill man testa thermo så verkar Liquid Sky Lacquer vara ett väldigt bra märke för detta. Jag är supernöjd och gillar dessutom färgerna väldigt mycket.

Återigen har sonen fått rota bland mina otestade lack så rösta på ni så får vi se vad som visas nästa vecka.

 

I have tested a thermal polish before, but it was quite difficult to get to change the color, that is not the case with the polish that you chose for me this week. 

Liquid Sky Lacquer Margaritaville is a green thermo polish that is also a little holo. It varies from light green when it's hot and dark green when the nail is colder. 

In fact, I was ridiculously fond of this polish just because of the shifts. For the fact is that mostly this looks like a nice gradient. And who does not like that! 

Furthermore, it was easy to paint with. I have two coats on and yes, maybe a third would have been a good idea, but not absolutely necessary. It also dried quickly. 

In the pictures, I have no topcoat, because I did not really know if it would affect the efficacy of the polish. I have put on the Insta-Dri afterwards and can happily say that it does not matter. The effect persists. 

So I can only say this. If you want to test a thermo Liquid Sky Lacquer seem to be a very good brand for it. I am super happy with the polish and really like the colors as well.

Again, the son got to poke around my untested to choose the polishe you get to vote on this week. 

Zoya - Aurora

Ibland är man sugen på att ta fram säkra kort när man ska lacka sina naglar. Som när vi skulle till Linköping med absolut noll chans att lacka om på några dagar. Då blev det Zoya Aurora som fick bli min nagelkompis på resan.

Ett helt underbart lila lack med prismatiskt glitter i som tillhör Zoyas julkollektion från 2012. Jag tycker förresten att det är dags att Zoya släpper en ny riktigt bra kollektion igen. Utan Pixidust och annat trams.

Nog om det. Lacket är smidigt att lacka med. Täcker på 2-3 lager. Jag har tre för att jag tycker det blir mer djup i lacket då och så ett lager med Insta-Dri över.

Jag älskar färgen på det här lacket och vet att det sitter bra på mig vilket är en förutsättning när man vet att det ska sitta på ett tag. Har ni inga Zoya lack innan så är det här ett bra lack att börja med.

Sometimes you feel like just put on one of your "safe" polishes. You know one that you've worn before and that you know you love. Like when we were going to Linköping with absolutely zero chance to redo the nails for a few days. That's when Zoya Aurora got to come up from the drawer and be my nailfriend on the trip. 

An absolutely beautiful purple polish with prismatic glitter that belongs to Zoyas Ornate collection from Christmas 2012. Don't you also think that it's time for Zoya to release a really good collection again without Pixidust and other nonsense. 

Enough of it. The polish is easy to paint with. Covers in 2-3 coats. I have three because I think it becomes more depth in the polish that way and then a layer of Insta-Dri over. 

I love the color of this polish and know that I feel comfortable wearing it which is a good thing when you know it will be on for 3-4 days at least. If you don't have any Zoya's before this is a good one to start your collection with.

Grön Onsdag - Pretty & Polished Go With The Pisces Flow

Jag bestämde mig just för att det här lutar mest åt grönt så jag kan vara med på Vacker & Underbara Karins gröna onsdag.

Det här är Pretty & Polished Go With The Pisces Flow ett grön/blått crelly med glitter i blått och grönt även om jag nog tycker att det ser lite guldigt ut när glittren väl är på nageln.

Glittren sjunker lätt till botten av flaskan på det här lacket, men är lätta att skaka upp igen och precis som med många andra så blir det lite fiskande för att få upp dom. I övrigt så var det mycket lättlackat tyckte  jag. När man tittar på det i flaskan så hade i alla fall jag tveksamheter om det skulle kunna täcka på egen hand, men det hade jag inte behövt bekymra mig om. Det här är tre lager och det funkade utmärkt.

Kanske något segt i torktiden, men med Insta-Dri funkar det utmärkt.

I flaskan ser det här inte så kul ut tycker jag, men jag måste säga att jag verkligen gillade färgen när jag väl hade den på naglarna. Ännu en sån där lugn och skön färg. Glittrena är mer som en accessoar som inte är supertydliga, men även det tilltalade mig.

I decided that this leans more towards green than blue just so I could participate in Vacker & Underbara Karin's Green Wednesday. 

This is Pretty & Polished Go With The Flow Pisces Flow a green/blue crelly with glitter in blue and green, although I probably think it looks a bit like gold when the glitters are on the nail.

The glitters easily falls to the bottom of the bottle on this polish, but are easy to shake up again and just like with many other similar polishes you do need to do a little fishing to get them up. Otherwise it was very easy to work with, I thought. When you look at it in the bottle I had my doubts about this being able to cover on it's own, but I didn't had to worry about that. This is three coats and it worked excellent.

Maybe a little slow in the drying time, but with Insta-Dri over the problem was fixed.

I didn't think this look to interesting in the bottle, but I have to say I really liked the color once I had it on my nails. Yet one of those calm and beautiful colors. The glitters is more like an accessory that is not super clear, but it also appealed to me.
