Reader's Choice - Darling Diva Polish Game Over, Man!

Idag är det Darling Diva Polish Game Over, Man! som är veckans läsarnas val lack. Omröstningen blev inte så värst spännande för det här vann överlägset kan jag meddela.

Lacket består av en röd jellybas som sen är fylld med glitter och shreds faktiskt. Både rött, prismatiskt och lila glitter. Det täckte faktiskt på två lager vilket förvånade mig lite för jag hade nog räknat med att det skulle ta tre eftersom det är en jelly, men inte alls. Det torkar med en ganska ojämn yta så topplack är ett måste. Däremot åt det inte alls upp topplacket så ett lager räcker och påfyllning var inte nödvändigt.

Alltså det här ser ut som någonting jag vill äta upp. Det är en helt ljuvlig finish på det och färgen är bara helt underbar. Det är ett ganska klarrött lack så alla kanske inte trivs i just den färgen, men själv gör jag det och älskar verkligen hur det här ser ut på naglarna.

Självklart blir det en ny omröstning, så rösta gärna på lacket du vill se nästa vecka.

Today it's Darling Diva Polish Game Over, Man! that is this week's Readers' Choice. The poll was not very exciting for this won convincingly, I can tell.

The polish consists of a red jellybase which then is filled with glitter and actually shreds. Both red, prismatic and purple glitter. It actually covered in two layers which surprised me a bit because I thought it would take three because it's a jelly, but not at all. It dries with a fairly uneven surface so topcoat is a must. However it didn't eat the topcoat as many of this kind of glitters does so one coat and no need to get a new one next day.

So this looks like something I want to eat. It's an absolutely lovely finish on it and the color is just wonderful. It's a fairly bright red polish so I guess all of you might not thrive in this particular color, but I really do and I love how this looks on the nails.

OPI - This Cost Me A Mint

Mer från OPI:s Soft Shades kollektion idag. Jag har tidigare skrivit att jag har svårt att hålla mig ifrån mintgröna pasteller och This Cost Me A Mint är verkligen inte något undantag.

This Cost Me A Mint upplevde jag som något bättre i formulan än de andra jag visat från kollektionen eller är det jag som lärt mig hantera dom. Det här krävde i alla fall bara två ganska lättmålade lager och lite topplack för att täcka och se vackert ut.

Ja, som sagt jag har en svag punkt när det kommer till den här typen av färger och jag tycker verkligen att det här är fint. Ännu ett fräscht och vårfint lack.

More from OPI Soft Shades collection today. I have previously written that I find it difficult to stay away from mint green pastels and This Cost Me A Mint is certainly no exception.

I felt that This Cost Me A Mint had a better formula than the others I have shown from the collection or maybe it's me that has learned to handle them. This required in all cases, only two fairly easily painted layers and a little top coat for coverage and looking beautiful.

Yes, as I said I have a weak spot when it comes to this type of colors and I really think this is nice. Another fresh and perfect for spring polish.

ABC Challenge - T = Turtle Tootsie Polishes - Smashed Pumpkins

Jösses vilket lack jag letade fram till bokstaven T! Jag vet inte riktigt vilken färg Turtle Tootsie Polishes Smashed Pumpkins har. Är det bronze eller koppar eller orange? Nä, jag vet inte och det spelar absolut noll roll för bara titta hur det ser ut.

Det var smidigt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Det är helt klart udda färg som jag var lite tveksam till hur jag skulle gilla på naglarna, men jag hade inte behövt oroa mig för jag fullkomligt älskar det här lacket. Tyvärr har jag bara en miniflaska, får kanske ändra på det för det här blev en fullträff tycker jag.

What an amazing polish I picked for the letter T! I don't really know what color Turtle Tootsie Polishes Smashed Pumpkins have. Is it bronze or copper or orange? Nah, I don't know and it does absolutely zero matter because just look how it looks.

It was easy to paint with and covers in two layers. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

It's clearly an odd color I was a little hesitant about how I would like it on the nails, but I shouldn't have worried because I absolutely love this polish. Unfortunately I only have a mini bottle so maybe I should do something about that.  Because this was turned out to be a bullseye polish.

Depend Five Shades Of Sorbert Summary

Nu har jag visat er alla lacken från Depends Five Shades Of Sorbet kollektion. Dom här går att hitta i butiker nu och jag kände att jag ville ge er en liten sammanställning också.

Allt som allt tycker jag att det här är en riktigt fin kollektion. Fina färger och mycket bra formula på alla lacken. Inget av dom krävde mer än två lager för täckning och inget av dom blev strimmigt heller.

Jag visar dom fem olika lacken i den ordningen som jag gillar dom bäst.

I have now showed you all of the colors from Depends Five Shades Of Sorbet collection. These are now available in stores and I wanted to show you a summary as well. 

Overall I think this is a great collection. Very nice colors and all of them where great to work with. Non of them took more than two coats for opacity and non of them was streaky. 

I will show you the five polishes in the order I like them best.

Så var det dags för sista lacket från Five Shades Of Sorbet kollektionen. Och 4084 Mint Sorbet är ju precis vad namnet säger ett mint färgat lack och därför tycker jag om det.

Jag gör likadant med det här lacket som de andra. Alltså visar både som det torkar utan topplack nämligen lite halvmatt och med både vanligt och matt topplack.

Inget problem med formulan på det här heller. Två lager är helt ok.

Jag älskar den här typen av färg och gillar verkligen det här skarpt. Och precis som med de andra i kollektionen så blev nog den matta varianten min favorit även här.

Dessutom passar ju det här lacket bra in på Grön Onsdag hos Vacker & Underbar.

So it's time for the last polish from the Five Shades Of Sorbet collection. And 4084 Mint Sorbet is exactly what the name says a mint colored polish and therefore I like it.

I have done the same with this polish as the others. That is to show it both as it dries without topcoat namely semi-matt and with both glossy and matte topcoat.

No problem with the formula on this either. Two layers are ok.

I love this kind of color and really like Mint Sorbet a lot. And just as with the others in the collection I think that the matt version is my favorite here.

And this also fits in to Green Wednesday at Vacker & Underbar. 

March Haul

Det dök in lite lack i Mars, inte så mycket att jag behöver skämmas faktiskt, men ändå ett gäng. Jag har valt att enbart visa lack som jag själv köpt i det här inlägget.

Kunde inte låta bli att köpa lite från Hypnotic Polishs rea och inte heller kunde jag motstå lite Zoya lack. Sen är det några från blogsales och Tradera också.

I did get some polishes in March, not so many that I need to blush maybe, but still a bunch. I have chosen to show only polishes that I have purchased myself in this post. 

I couldn't resist the sale on Hypnotic Polish and neither some of the Zoya polishes. There are some that I have found of blogsales and Tradera (eBay) too.

Depend - 4087 Frozen Sorbert

Det var ju inte riktigt meningen att det skulle dröja med resten av lacken från Depends Five Shades Of Sorbet kollektion, men det blir inte alltid som man tänkt sig.

Idag blir det i alla fall 4087 Frozen Sorbet. Är inte all sorbet frusen? Inte vet jag, men det jag vet är att det här lacket är ett lack med färgen blå som en sån där helt molnfri sommardag. Precis som med de andra lacken från kollektionen så torkar det här lite halvmatt och jag har valt att visa er det i tre olika versioner. Som det är utan topplack, med vanligt topplack och med matt topplack.

Det var smidigt att jobba med och täcker på två lager.

Jag trodde inte att jag skulle vara så förtjust i den här färgen, men jag gillar den faktiskt överraskande mycket. Jag tycker nog att den är lite skarpare i tonen i verkligheten än vad jag fått fram på bilderna. Riktigt fin måste jag säga.

It was not really my intention to wait this long to show another polish from Depends Five Shades Of Sorbet collection, but things doesn't always go as planned. 

Today it's 4087 Frozen Sorbet that I give you. Is not all sorbet frozen? I don't know, but what I do know is that this polish is a polish with the color blue as one of those completely cloudless summer days. As with the other polishes from the collection it does dry semi-matt and I have chosen to show you it in three different versions. As it is, without topcoat, with regular top coat and matte topcoat.

It was easy to work with and covers in two layers.

I did not think I would be so fond of this color, but I like it surprisingly much. I think that it's a bit sharper in tone in real life than what I managed to show on the images. Really nice I must say.

ABC Challenge - S = Sephora Deep In Her Eyes

Välkommen till en ny vecka med nya fina lack att titta på. Vi börjar med bokstaven S i vårt ABC Challenge och till detta har jag valt att visa er ett lack från Sephora som heter Deep In Her Eyes.

Det här är ett blå/lila metallic lack, som man fick vara rätt noga med hur man målade med för att undvika alltför tråkiga synliga penseldrag. Dock täcker det bra och två lager är nog. Torktiden normal, men inte snabb. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Alltså det är absolut inget fel varken på färgen eller finishen på det här lacket, men återigen är det ett snyggt lack som inte riktigt går hem hos mig. Det är ett helt ok lack, men inget som jag troligen kommer sträcka mig efter igen.

Welcome to a new week with hopefully nice polishes to watch. We begin with the letter S in our ABC Challenge and for this I have chosen to show you a polish from Sephora called Deep In Her Eyes.

This is a blue / purple metallic polish, which you had to be quite careful with when you painted in order to avoid boring visible brushstrokes. However, it covers well and two coats are enough. The drying time is normal, but not fast. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

There's absolutely nothing wrong neither with color or finish of this polish, but again it's a nice polish that not quite hit the mark with me. It's a quite ok polish, but nothing that I probably will reach for again.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Candy & Sweets #1

Ny månad och temat är Candy & Sweets och det går ju att tolka på rätt många olika sätt. Och just därför valde jag att göra en nail art som jag velat göra ett tag faktiskt. 

Cupcake naglar. Jag trodde ju att det här skulle vara ganska svårt och har kanske därför dragit mig lite för att testa, men jag hade fel, för det här var faktiskt rätt lätt och dessutom väldigt kul tycker jag. 

Lacken jag använt mig av är Appeal4 Acacallis Goodie, China Glaze Heart Of The Matter, OPI What's Your Point'setta och Zoya Purity. 

New month and the theme is Candy & Sweets and you can of course interpreted that in quite a few different ways. And just because of that I chose to do a nail art that I have wanted to do for a while, actually.

Cupcake nails. I'd think this would be quite difficult and have waited to do this a bit,  but I was wrong, for this was actually fairly easy and also very fun to do I think.

Reader's Choice - Love Thy Polish Smurf's Got The Blues

Det är andra gången den här veckan som jag är lite smått elak mot er. Denna gången heter anledningen Love Thy Polish Smurf's Got The Blues. Lacket som ni valt åt mig som veckans läsarnas val.

Om inte jag är helt ute och cyklar så finns inte det här märket längre. Så det är därför jag känner lite taskig. Lacket går inte att få tag på längre. Om man inte hittar det på en blogsale förstås.

I alla fall så är det här ett Smurfblått eller möjligen jeansblått lack med en ganska stark holoeffekt. Det var smidigt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Visst är det här otroligt fint, men jag är faktiskt inte överförtjust. Vet absolut inte varför, men jag är inte det. Kan det vara att jag fått vårkänslor och hellre vill bära ljusa lack kanske. Men det brukar ju inte hindra mig i vanliga fall precis. Gillar jag lacket så gör jag det oavsett årstid.

Jag vet verkligen inte vad som inte klickade mellan mig och den här smurfen, men man kan väl inte älska dom alla kanske. Dock tycker jag ju fortfarande att det är fint.

It's the second time this week that I'm a little bit mean to you. This time the reason is Love Thy Polish Smurf's Got The Blues. The polish that you have chosen for me as this week's Readers' Choice.

Unless I'm completely way off this brand has stoped making polishes. So that's why I feel a little mean to you. You can't buy this polish anymore unless you can find it on a blog sale of course.

In any case, this is a Smurf blue or possibly denim blue polish with a pretty strong holo. It was easy to apply and covers in two layers. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

Sure, this is incredibly nice, but I'm not really sold on it. I absolutely don't know why, but I'm not. Could it be that I have spring feelings and would rather wear bright polishes. Well maybe, but that doesn't usually happen to me. If I like a polish I like it no matter what season it is. 

I really don't know what it is that didn't click between me and this smurf, but I guess you can't love them all. However, I still think it is nice.
