Zoya Rehka

Förra veckan så visade jag helt underbara Zoya Blair och idag så tänker jag visa er ännu ett klassiskt rött Zoya lack. 

Zoya Rehka har jag visat innan och jag kommer ihåg att jag vid första tillfället inte alls var nöjd med lackets egenskaper. Jag tror att det kan ha att göra med att jag var sjuk då och troligen inte alls hade tålamod till att lacka med någonting egentligen. 

Visst är det lite rinnigt, men ändå inte alls så galet jobbigt som jag tyckte då. Däremot så är det lite jellykänsla över det. Jag har tre lager och visst kunde jag kostat på mig ett lager till kanske, men det funkar så här också.

Färgen är som jag skrev tidigare en riktigt klassisk röd. En sån där man ser på gamla filmafficher och som jag tycker är vansinnigt snygg. På bilder har jag tre lager av Rehka och jag är rätt säker på att det är ett lager Seche också. 

Last week I showed the absolutely gorgeous Zoya Blair and today I will show you another classic red Zoya lacquer.

I have shown Zoya Rehka before, and I remember that I am on the first occasion was not at all happy with the polish. I think it may had something to do with that I was sick then and probably not had the patience to paint with anything really.

Sure it's a bit thin though, but still not nearly as crazy to paint with as I thought then. However, it's a little jelly feeling about it. I have three layers and I could indeed have had another, but it works like this too.

The color is as I wrote earlier a really classic red. One of those you see on old filmposters and I think this is insanely hot. In the pictures I have three layers of Rehka and I'm pretty sure there is a layer of Seche too.

United In Pink!

Vi är snart inne i Oktober månad och som de flesta av er så är det den månaden då Rosa Bandet insamlingen pågår.

För att uppmärksamma detta även bland oss bloggare så kommer Pamsan som har bloggen Claws In Color och jag vara värdar för en rosa temavecka som vi kallar United In Pink. Vi skulle uppskatta att så många som möjligt ansluter och är med på det här. För att underlätta för er så är det inte tvunget att vara med varje dag utan så många dagar man kan, hinner och har lust till.

Tanken är att det ska visas rosa lack eller manikyrer för självklart är det tillåtet med all sorts nailart. Och har du ingen blogg, men är aktiv på Instagram så är det väl klart att ni ska vara med där istället.

Time goes fast and soon it will be the month of October and as most of you know that is the month when the Pink Ribbon campaign is ongoing.

To mark this, even among us bloggers will Pamsan who has the blog Claws In Color and I host a pink theme week that we call United In Pink. We would appriciate if as many as possible would join us in is this. To make it easier for you, we have decided that it's not necessary to participate every day. Join in on as many days you feel that you have time and the desire to.

The idea is to show pink polishes but of course all kinds of nailart is allowed and appriciated. And if you don't have a blog, but is active on Instagram post your manicures there.

Nailart Sunday - Spooky trees!

Vaknar tidigt och känner att jag är på humör för att rensa ut grejer att sälja! En hel del lack kommer att hamna på en bloggsale eller på Tradera inom en snar framtid. Annars ser jag fram emot dagens skördemarknad på Tyrolen.

Jag letade höstmanikyrer på nätet igår och hittade en som jag tyckte var jättefin med träd som fällt alla sina löv. På den manikyrern var det en ljus bakgrund, men jag hade ju Sleeping Palace på så jag tänkte att det fick bli träd i solnedgång i stället. Och det är mitt bidrag till denna veckas Nailart Sunday.

Jag svampade på olika nyanser av gult och orange med hjälp av Orly Flicker, Zoya Thandie och Creamy och sist men inte minst China Glaze Riveting. På det så målade jag sen träd med hjälp av akrylfärg.

I slutänden fick det här ingen som helst likhet med förebilden, men jag är ändå nöjd. Det blev lite spökkänsla av  de stackars träden som står där nakna i solnedgången.

I wake up early and feel like I'm in the mood to clean out stuff to sell! A lot of polishes will end up on a blog sale or on Tradera in the near future. 

I was looking for inspiration for autumn manicures online yesterday and found one that I thought was really nice with trees that shed all their leaves. That one hade a yellow/orange background, but I had Sleeping Palace on so I figured it had to be trees in the sunset instead.

And this is also my contribution to this weeks Nailart Sunday.

I sponged on various shades of yellow and orange using Orly Flicker, Zoya Thandie and Creamy and last but not least, China Glaze Riveting. On that I painted trees using acrylic paint.

In the end, this has no resemblance whatsoever to the model, but I'm still happy. I think this has a little spooky feeling of those poor trees that stand there naked in the sunset.

Ert val / Readers Choice! - A-England Sleeping Palace

Härligt med helg igen! Vi ska åka och välja tvättställsblandare. Låter väl glamoröst va? Sen ska jag och min finaste granne iväg på ett Partylite möte. Låter kanske lite roligare. Härligt väder verkar det blir i alla fall.

Det är några veckor sedan jag hade ett Ert val inlägg senast eftersom jag kört tema veckor. Den gången så var det i alla fall Sleeping Palace från A-England som vann, fast Drink of Despair var inte många röster bakom.

Sleeping Palace är ett mörkt lila-grått lack. Lite aubergine skulle jag nog vilja säga. Sen är det också holoeffekt i lacket. Som många andra A-England lack så är den inte superframträdande, men å så vacker ändå!

Ni vet ju redan sen innan att jag tycker väldigt mycket om formulan på A-England lacken och det här är precis lika bra som dom andra. Två lätta lager som torkar fort. Det här är absolut ett av mina favoritmärken. Att det är lite tjockare formula gör ju också att lacken oftast är bra till både stamping och göra gradients med. På bilderna har jag inget topplack på.

Jag tycker återigen att ni valt ett suveränt vackert lack åt mig. Återstår att se vad ni röstar fram till nästa vecka.

Feels great that it's Saturday again! We'll go and select basin mixer. Sounds glamorous huh? Then me and my sweet neighbor will set off to a PartyLite meeting. That might sound a bit more fun. The weather seems to be very nice anyway.

It's a few weeks ago that I had a Readers choice posts, because of the theme weeks I had. Last time you had the chance to vote it was Sleeping Palace from A-England who won, though Drink of Despair was not many votes behind.

Sleeping Palace is a dark purple-gray paint. A little eggplant, I would probably say. Then it also has a holoeffect. Like many other A-England polishes it's not super prominent, but oh so beautiful anyway!

You already know from before that I really like the formula of A-Englands polishes and this is just as good as the others. Two layer that dries quickly and was really easy to apply. This is absolutely one of my favorite brands. The fact that the formula is a bit thicker also means that the polishes is mostly good for both stamping and do gradients with. No topcoat on the pictures.

I think again that you have chosen a superb beautiful polish for me. I look forward to see what you will choose for me this time.

Holofredag Mentality - Sexy

Fredag och jag bjuder mina stackars jobbarkompisar på en kaka som ser allt annat än snygg ut!

Då var det dags för er att få se Mentality Sexy på egen hand och inte bara i som stamping lack, vilket det egentligen är avsett för. Och även mitt bidrag till Skimmerskuggans holofredag :)

Färgen på det här är lite svår att sätta namn på. Det står att den ska vara röd, men jag är väl inte helt benägen att hålla med. Den är lika mycket roströd eller röd med rosa toner som riktigt röd. Egentligen spelar det ju inte så stor roll eftersom det är ett mycket fint lack oavsett färgnamn på det.

Egenskaperna på lacket är också mycket bra. Som stamping lack funkar det utmärkt och det gör det absolut som vanligt lack också. Jag tror att man kan klara sig utan problem med ett lager om man har kortare naglar. Själv har jag ett lager på och inget överlack på bilderna.

Det finns helt klart lite holo i det här lacket, inget superframträdande, men oj vad fint det ändå är!

Många andra Mentality lack kan man hitta hos Edgy Polish dock inte det här.

Now it's time for me to show you Mentality Sexy on it's own and not just as stamping polish, which it really is intended for. And this is also my contribution to this weeks holofriday!

The color of this is a bit difficult to put names to. It's described as true red, but I'm not quite inclined to agree. It is as much rust red or red with pink tones that really red. Actually, it really does not matter because it's a very fine polish whatever you name the color.

The formula of the polish is also very good. As stamping paint it works great and that is also the case when you use it as a plain polihs as well. I think you can get it to cover with only one coat if you have shorter nails. I have two coats on and no top coat in the pictures.

There are clearly some holo in this polish, nothing super prominent, but oh how nice it still is!

You can find a lot of Mentality polishes at Edgy Polish but not this color.

Zoya Blair

Idag ska jag visa er ett av de finaste röda lacken jag har i min samling. Dessutom så fick jag det av finaste Gosia in en swap vi gjorde.

Lacket är Zoya Blair, det finns även en dupe till det här eller om det här är en dupe till China Glaze Short & Sassy. I vilket fall som helst så är det här ett vinrött lack med hur mycket djup som helst i. Det ser nästan ut att glöda på naglarna.

Att det sen är lätt att lacka med och inte kräver mer än två lager gör ju inte saken sämre alls. På bilderna har jag inget topplack, så ni förstår ju hur glansigt det här är.

Jag älskar den här färgen, en klassisk snygg nyans som jag aldrig tröttnar på.

Vad har ni för klassikerfavorit?

Today I'll show you one of the finest red polishes I have in my collection. And what makes it even better is that I got it from sweetest Gosia in a swap we did.

The polish is Zoya Blair, there's also a dupe for this, or if this is a dupe for China Glaze Short & Sassy. In any case, this is a burgundy coat with so much depth in it that it almost seems to glow on the nails.

And it 's easy to paint with and do not require more than two layers and that makes it even better. In the pictures, I have no top coat on, so I think you can understand how glossy this is. 

I love this color, a classic stylish shade that I never get tired of.

Grön Onsdag - Pretty Serious Phantom Planet

Idag tänkte jag passa på att vara med på Karins Gröna Onsdag och med ett väldigt fint duokromt lack från Pretty Serious dessutom.

Phantom Planet ingår i en liten kollektion som heter They Came From Beyond Space. En fantastiskt fin kollektion från ett märke som gör lack med hög kvalité känns det som.

Just det här lacket var lite skirt, men formulan och torktiden gör att allt är förlåtet och dessutom är det snyggt! Jag har tre lager på, men det kanske faktiskt skulle varit ett fjärde också. Över det så har jag ett lager med Seche. Dessutom kommer dom här lacken i så söta kartonger så det är ju också ett plus i kanten.

Färgen skiftar från grönt, blått, guld till teal. Som vanligt är det svårt att fånga en sådana här skönhet på bild så därför blir det bildspam.

 

Today I take the opportunity to join in on Karin's Green Wednesday and with a very fine duochrome polish from Pretty Serious.

Phantom Planet is part of a small collection called They Came From Beyond Space. A fantastic collection from a brand that I feel have very high quality on their polishes.

This polish was a bit sheer, but the formula and drying time makes me forgive it for that.  I have three layers on, but maybe it actually should have been a fourth as well. Over those, I have a layer of Seche. Both the color and the really cute boxes they are deliverd in is also something that makes me think it's ok with the layers.

The color changes from green, blue, gold to teal. As usual, it's difficult to capture such a beauty in the pictures so therefore there will be image spam.

Delush Polish - Lord Earl Grey

Delush Polish är ett nytt märke för mig så jag blev jätteglad när Katarina skickade dom här så att jag skulle få prova och utlåta mig. Dessutom hade hon lyckats pricka in helt underbara höstfärger och det här som heter Lord Earl Grey är det första av dom två.

Namnet Lord Earl Grey får ju mig att osökt tänka på te och bara det är ju bra för te det gillar jag eller jag dricker inte te längre för jag dricker Roiboos, men det är i alla fall en teliknande dryck. Färgen däremot får mig absolut inte att tänka på te, det är ett olivgröngrått lack där finishen får mig att tänka lite metallic.

Formulan var jättetrevlig och det täcker på två lager, jag tyckte att penseln var i mjukaste laget dock. Torktiden var det heller inget fel på. 

Den här färgen passar mig alldeles utmärkt. Det är en superfin höstfärg, men jag ser inga problem med att bära den året om. Det ser ut som lite penselmärken på bilderna, men jag tror mer det uppkom när jag la på topplacket faktiskt. Mitt Seche börjar bli lite segt.

Delush Polish is a new brand for me so I was thrilled when Katarina sent me this for my to try and give my review. And she mangaed to send my two perfectly lovely autumn colors and this is called Lord Earl Grey, the first of the two.

The name Lord Earl Grey gets me to unsought think of tea and that is good tea is my thing or actually I don't drink tea anymore becuase I'm drinking Roiboos, but it is in any case a tea-like beverage. The color of the polish certinaly doesn't make me think of tea, it's green-gray polish which finish makes me think a bit metallic.

The formula was really nice and it covers in two layers, I think that the brush was a bit to soft though. The drying time was no problems with.

This color suits me just fine. It's a super nice fall color, but I see no problem with wearing it all year around. And if you think the brushmarks is disturbing I can honestly say that I think most of them are from when I applied the toppcoat. My Seche is getting a bit ductile.

That was it. All colors has been used as the base for at least one manicure. All colors have been used more than one time in different ways. I'm most pleased with manicure no 13.
