KB Shimmer - Smells Like Green Spirit

Idag är det grön onsdag hos Karin och det firas med ett glittrande härligt lack från KB Shimmer.

Smells Like Green Spirit består av microglitter i en vad jag skulle vilja säga grodgrön nyans. Själva formulan på lacket var hur bra som helst och det täcker på två lager, dock var det en något spretig pensel i min flaska som irriterade mig en aning. Det torkar lite åt det matta hållet, så jag tycker att topplack är nödvändigt för att få fram det rätta glittret i lacket.

Det här är verkligen fint, men jag är inte stormförtjust. Jag tror det är något i den gröna nyansen som gör att jag inte faller hals över huvud för det här. Vad säger ni, något som hade gått hem i er lacksamling?

Smells Like Green Spirit consists of microglitter in what I would like to say a frog green shade. The formula of the polish is really good and it covers in two layers, but the brush had some straws sticking out that made me a bit annoyed. It dries a bit on the matte side, so I think topcoat is necessary to get the glitter to stand out as it should. 

This is really nice, but I'm not super exited. I think there's something in the green hue that doesn't make me fall totally in love with this.  What's your oppinon? Would it have a home in your collection?

Idag är det så dags att visa sista lacket ur vårens Game, Set, Match kollektion. Jag tror jag ska fixa till en liten summering också senare idag. Sist ut är i alla fall nummer 506 som är ett nästan terracotta färgat krämlack.

Riktigt fint att måla med och så nära en onecoater man kan komma utan att vara det faktiskt. Två lager har jag på bilderna och topplack över. Torktiden var helt ok.

Jag tycker det här är en helt ok färg, mer höst än vårfärg, men det gör ju inget eftersom jag nu visar det när det nästan är höst. Fin, men inte någon 5 poängare än nog mitt omdöme.

Today it's time to show the last polish from this spring's Game, Set, Match collection. I think I'll make a small summary later on today. Last out is  number 506 which is an almost terracotta colored cream.

Really nice to paint with and as close to a onecoater as you can get without actually being it. I have two coats in the pictures and topcoat. The drying time was normal.

I think this is a completely ok color, more autumn than spring color, but that doesn't matter since I'm showing it when the fall almost is here. Nice, but not something that will get the higest grade from me. 

Review Born Pretty Colour Buttons

Idag har jag ett lite annorlunda inlägg med en riktigt bra produkt. Det jag tänker recensera är något som kallas Colour Buttons som jag fått tillsänt från Born Pretty Store.

Colour Buttons är små silikon cirklar som är till för att sätta uppe på korken på dina lack. I mitt fall så bestämde jag mig för att mina "vanliga" lack var lite för mycket att ge sig på. Tanken är nämligen att man ska måla på knappen och när den sen har torkat ska man sätta den på toppen av flaskans kork för att lätt kunna se i t.ex en låda vad man har för olika färger stående där. Jag har börjat samla på mig en hel del Hit The Bottle stämpellack och just stämpellacken tycker jag det finns en klar poäng med att enkelt se vilken färg dom har redan när man öppnar lådan istället för att behöva lyfta upp varenda flaska. Alltså plockade jag fram mina flaskor och började måla.

Färgen fäster lätt på silikonet och dom små knapparna lossnar lätt från underlaget och har ett riktigt bra klister på undersidan så det var lätt att få dom att fästa på korkarna på flaskorna. Och jag måste säga att jag tycker det här är en riktigt smart liten produkt som jag tänker skaffa mer av för att kunna ha på alla mina stämpellack.

Today I have a slightly different post with a really good product. What I intend to review is something called Colour Buttons that I received from Born Pretty Store.

Colour Buttons are small silicone circles that are ment to be used to put on the cork on your polish. In my case, I decided that my "normal" polishes was a bit too much to start marking. The idea is to paint the button and once it has dried, place it on top of the bottle's cork to easily see in a drawer what different colors you have in there. I have started buying a lot of Hit The Bottle stamping polishes and when it comes to stampingpolishes I think there is a good thing to easily see what color they are when you open the drawer instead of being forced to take up every single bottle until you found what you where looking for. So I picked up my bottles and started painting.

The color attaches easily to the silicone and the small buttons release easily from the sheet and have a really good adhesive on the underside so it was easy to get them to attach the corks of the bottles. And I have to say that I think this is a really smart little product that I'm going to get more from to make all of my stampingpolishes marked.

Reader's Choice - Dreamland Lacquer - In A Mood

Kvällen närmar sig och jag har vinkat av övriga familjen som är på väg till Linköping för en golfdag imorgon. Men eftersom jag har ett skadat knä var det en mindre bra aktivitet för mig så jag får roa mig själv med mina lack istället.

Och det är ganska lätt att roa sig när man får förmånen att måla med Dreamland Lacquer In A Mood. Det här lacket som ni valde åt mig är ett exklusivt lack för medlemmarna i Dreamlands fansida på Facebook. Det är ett djupblått microglitter precis av den typen som Dreamland gör så grymt bra. Det är på vippen att vara en onecoater, men jag har två lager på bilderna. Topplack är att rekommendera för att verkligen få fram gnistret i det här lacket, så det har jag på bilderna.

Det här är hur snyggt som helst, färgen, glittret och formula. Det finns absolut ingenting att klaga på enligt mig. Jo, det skulle möjligen vara att den här typen av lack ofta sitter lite dåligt på mig, men å andra sidan byter jag ju nästan varje dag så strunt samma. All kärlek till det här lacket!

The evening is approaching and I have waved goodbye the rest of my family who are heading to Linköping for a golf day tomorrow. But because I have a damaged knee, it was a less good activity for me so I have to enjoy myself with my polishes instead.

And it's quite easy to enjoy yourself when you get the benefit of painting with Dreamland Lacquer In A Mood. This polsih that you chose for me is an exclusive for the members of Dreamland's fan page on Facebook. It's a deep blue microglitter just the kind Dreamland does so very well. It's on the flip to be an onecoater, but I have two layers in the pictures. Topcoat is recommended to really get the sparkle in this to show, so I have that on in the pictures.

This is just amazingly beautiful, the color, the glitter and formula. There is absolutely nothing to complain about according to me. Well, it may be that this type of polish often seems to chip pretty fast on me, but on the other hand, I change polish almost every day so it's really not a problem. All love for this polish!
