Born Pretty Store Nail Vinyls

För ett tag sedan fick jag hem ett paket med produkter från Born Pretty Store för recension och bland dom fanns det en typ av mallar eller nail vinyls. 

Jag har provat en del olika nail vinyls och tyckt att de flesta varit riktigt bra och det var absolut inget större fel på dom här heller. 

Ett paket består av 12 stycken mallar 6 i varje mönster. Det man måste tänka på när man ska använda dom här är att man målat på topplack och låtit det torka riktigt ordentligt innan man sätter på själva mallen annars lär man få med sig lacket när man plockar bort mallen. 

Det jag inte riktigt gillade med dom här var att dom satt ihop ni vet som bokmärken nästan med en liten liten flik. Detta gjorde att man fick vara rätt försiktig när man lossade på dom annars blir det som ni ser på mina bilder med mallen på nageln lätt att den går sönder i ett hörn. 

Dom var i alla fall lätta att sätta på nageln och fastnade utan problem. Jag valde att sätta på två naglar och göra doms om accentnaglar. Efter jag placerat mallen målade jag med China Glaze Riveter Rouge. 

Det man också ska tänka på är att inte låta mallen sitta kvar länge efter man målat på lacket utan ta bort på en gång. Det var inget större problem att plocka bort dom och jag tycker nog att resultatet blev helt ok.

A while ago I received a package with products from Born Pretty Store to review and among them there was a kind of templates or nail vinyls.

I've tried a few different nail vinyls and thought that most were really good and there was absolutely nothing wrong with these either.

A package consists of 12 pieces 6 in each pattern. What you must consider when to use them is that you must have applied top coat and let it dry really thoroughly before putting on the vinyls or else you will probably have the polish following the vinyl when you remove it. 

One thing I really didn't like whit these was that they are attached to eachother the same way that you kan see with bookmarks or stickers you with a little small tab. This meant that you had to be quite careful when removing them from the plastic they sit on otherwise it can happen as it did to mine and that is visible in the pictures they break in the corners. 

They were easy to put on the nail and got stuck without a problem. I chose to put on two nails and make them into accent nails. After I placed the vinyl I painted with China Glaze Riveter Rouge.

You should also keep in mind not let the template remain long on the nail after you painted. Remove it right away. There was no major problem to remove them and I think that the result was quite ok.

Smitten Polish - Kenyan Sunset

Ok, jag känner mig nästan elak för att jag tänker visa er det här helt sjukt vackra lacket från Smitten Polish. Och varför skulle det vara elakt att visa Kenyan Sunset då? Jo, för det här går nämligen inte att få tag på. Det var specialgjort för en grupp på Facebook och såldes bara mellan den 15-31 augusti.

Men jag är så himla nöjd med att jag köpte det här för Kenyan Sunset är ett underbart mörkt magenta lack som ser rött ut i vissa vinklar. Det har dessutom fantastiska regnbågar i sig. Täcker på två lager och torkar fort.

Det är faktiskt länge sedan jag blev så kär i ett lack som jag blev i det här. Så kär att jag faktiskt istället för att byta lack när det chippat lite tog bort det på dom två fingrarna och målade om med det här istället för att byta till något annat på alla. Och det kan jag garantera inte händer ofta. Faktum är att jag inte ens är säker på att det har hänt innan.

Ljuvligt, det är väl sammanfattningen det!

 

Ok, I feel almost cruel that I'm about to show you this insane beautiful polish from Smitten Polish. And why would it be cruel to show Kenyan Sunset then? Well, because you can't buy this anymore. It was custom made for a group on Facebook, and sold only between 15th to 31st of August.

But I'm so happy that I bought this for Kenyan Sunset is a wonderful dark magenta polish that looks red in certain angles. It also has great rainbows in it. It covers in two coats and dries quickly.

It's actually a long time since I was so in love with a polish that I am with this. So in love that I actually instead of taking of the whole manicure when I had a chip on one nail just redid that one. And that doesn't happen often or I'm not even sure it has happened before. 

To summon this all I can say is: Amazing!

Appeal4 - Lucky robin

Dags för sista nya lacket från Appeal4 som Katarina på Edgy Polish skickade till mig. Det här är Lucky Robin ett krämlack i en färg som jag har lite svårt att beskriva faktiskt.

Jag kan ju börja med att säga att precis som de andra två så var det här mycket trevligt att jobba med och två lager räcker för täckning. Torktiden var alldeles normal och på bilderna har jag topplack på.

Färgen då? Lucky Robin är nog i grunden ett rött lack, men det lutar väldigt mycket åt rostfärgade hållet. Fast det är absolut inte brunt och det är inte orange. Men jag kan säga så här att det är en absolut perfekt höströd färg. Svårt att förklara och bilderna gör det inte riktigt rättvisa faktiskt.

Ännu ett lack som jag verkligen gillade och trivdes i och är ni sugna på att prova lack från Appeal4 så finns dom hos Edgy Polish.

Time for the final new polish from Appeal4 that Katarina from Edgy Polish sent to me. This is Lucky Robin a cream polish in a color that I have a little hard to describe really.

I can start by saying that just as the other two this was very nice to work with and covers in two layers. The drying time was normal and in the images I have a topcoat on.

The color then? Lucky Robin is probably basically a red polish but it leans very much to the rust colored direction. Though it is certainly not brown and it is not orange. But I can say this, that it's an absolutely perfect autumn color. Difficult to explain and the pictures do not really make it justice.

Another polish that I really liked and thrived in and if you want to to polishes from Appeal4 they can be bought from Edgy Polish.

Appeal4 - Sparkling Hippocampus

Idag visar jag ännu ett nytt lack från Appeal4. Denna gången blir det ett glitterlack som jag tror man kanske kan använda på egen hand, men då kräver det nog i alla fall tre, fyra lager skulle jag tro.

Jag valde istället att lägga Sparkling Hippocampus, älskar namnet, över lacket jag visade igår Magical Sea-lion.

Sparkling Hippocampus är ett lack bestående av en klar bas med microglitter i ljusblått och silver. Jag har lagt två lager över Magical Sea-Lion. Det var riktigt lättarbetat och spridde ut sig på nageln utan minsta problem. Helt ok torktid och på bilderna har jag topplack på.

Det här lacket gillade jag oväntat mycket. Jag testade på provstickor att lägga det över både vitt, svart, silver och så det här mörkblåa och alla variationerna var fina, men bäst blev det tyckte jag över mörkblått. Jag tror att det här kommer att åka fram igen framåt jul.

Today I show you another new polish from Appeal4. This time it's a glitter polish that I think you might be able to use on it's own, but then it requires probably three or even four layers,

I chose instead to add Sparkling Hippocampus, love the name, over the polish I showed yesterday Magical Sea-lion.

Sparkling Hippocampus is a polish consisting of a clear base with micro glitter in light blue and silver. I added two layers over Magical Sea-Lion. It was really easy to work with and spread out on the nail without any problems. The drying time was ok and in the pictures I have a topcoat on.

I really liked this polish much more than I expect to. I tested on swatch sticks to paint with this over both white, black, silver and dark blue and all the variations were fine, but I thought it looked best over dark blue. And I think that this might be used at Christmas again.

Appeal4 Magical Sea-Lion

Idag eller möjligen imorgon släpper Appeal4 tre nya lack som kommer att finnas tillgängliga hos Edgy Polish. Jag hade förmånen att få dom här skickade till mig från Katarina för att recensera.

Först ut är Magical Sea-Lion. Jag gillar namnet! Och lacket för den delen. Jag är fortfarande inte helt kompis med korken, men själva lacket är fantastiskt trevligt att jobba med så det liksom gör att man glömmer att den runda korken är lite klumpig.

Magical Sea-Lion är ett mörkblått skimmer som jag till och med i vissa lägen ser lite prismatiskt glitter i. Det här påminner mig rätt mycket om en av mina blåa favoriter Misa A Sin Worth Commiting och det är absolut inte en nackdel.

Två lager räcker och torktiden var bra. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Det här är verkligen ett supervackert blått lack som jag starkt kan rekommendera. Det här och fler från Appeal4 kommer finnas hos Edgy Polish.

Today or possibly tomorrow Appeal4 releases three new polishes that will be available at Edgy Polish. I had the privilege to have them sent to my by Katarina to review.

First up is Magical Sea-Lion. I like the name! And the polish. I'm still not completely friend with the cork of these polishes, but the polish is amazingly nice to work with so that makes you forget that the round cork is a bit clumsy.

Magical Sea-Lion is a dark blue shimmer that I even think have some prismatic glitter in it. Not much actually hardly visable, but it's there. This reminds me quite a lot of one of my favorite blue Misa A Sin Worth Commiting and it is certainly not a disadvantage.

Two layers are enough and the drying time was good. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

This is really a super nice blue polish that I can highly recommend. You can find this and more from Appeal4 at Edgy Polish.
