The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents - 3d Anniversary Recreation #2

Nu tycker jag det är dags att visa lite stamping som blev precis som jag tänkt mig istället för dom mer misslyckade som jag visat tidigare i veckan.

Temat i The Nail Challenge Collaborative är alltså att återskapa en tidigare manikyr och jag föll direkt för en som Stephanie på A little Polish hade gjort till ett tidigare tema som var svart/vitt. Min manikyr blir inte exakt likadan eftersom jag inte har exakt samma färger att använda mig av, men väldigt lik i alla fall. Originalet hittar ni här.

Det jag använt mig av är Star Nails vita lack som jag tyvärr inte har numret på just nu. Mönstret kommer från MoYou London Pro 06 och jag har använt mig av Mentality Glaze Red, Green och Opaque Black. Och den här typen av manikyr kallas för lead light.

Mina färger blev något starkare rosa än vad originalet är, men jag är så himla nöjd med den här manikyren och det är så kul att få visa något som blev som jag tänkt mig.

Don't you think it's time for me to show you some stamping that actually turned out the way I had imagined instead of the failed ones earlier this week.

The theme of The Nail Challenge Collaborative is to recreat a past manicure and I fell for one that Stephanie at A Little Polish had made to an earlier theme that was black / white. My manicure is not exactly the same as I didn't have exactly the same colors that she used but very similar in all cases. The original can be found here.

I used Star Nails white polish which I unfortunately don't have the number on right now. The pattern comes from MoYou London Pro 06 and I am using Mentality Glaze Red, Green and Opaque Black. And this type of manicure is called leadlight manicure.

My pink color is slightly stronger pink than what the original is, but I'm so happy with this manicure and it's so fun to show you something that I'm very pleased with.

ABC Challenge - U = Hits Unconventional

Förra veckans bokstäver blev inte några favoritlack precis, men idag när vi är på bokstaven U så slår jag till med en riktig juvel. 

Något lack som har ett märke som börjar på U hade jag inte otestat, men Hits Marimoon Unconventional hade jag stående i min låda och oj vilket vackert lack det är. Ett duochrome lack som har väldigt tydliga växlingar från rött, vinrött, lila och blått. Jag har inte fått med alls hur fint det är på bilderna. 

Problemet med det här var att det var lite knepigt att applicera. Det blev väldigt strimmigt, så tre lager var nödvändigt. På bilderna har jag inget topplack. 

Det här är väl ett av dom tidigaste duochroma lacken och jag vet att dom var hett eftertraktade. Jag är väldigt glad att jag har en flaska för det är verkligen fint. 

Last week's polishes for the ABC Challenge didn't become any favorites but today when we are on the letter U I have a real jewel for you.

I didn't have a untried polish from a brand that starts with a U but Hits Marimoon Unconventional was in my untested drawer. And oh what a beautiful polish it is. A duochrome polish that has very clear shifts from red, burgundy, purple and blue. I haven't capture half of it's beauty in the pictures. 

The problem with this was that it was a bit tricky to apply. It became very streaky, so three layers was necessary. In the pictures I have no topcoat.

I think this might be one of the earliest duochrome that came out and I know that they were coveted. I'm very happy that I have a bottle of it is because it's really nice.

Danger!

Jaha, då blir det här veckans det blir inte alltid som man tänkt sig inlägg. Jag hade en manikyr som jag skulle göra till The Nail Challenge Collaborative temat. Satte mig och målade med gult och när jag skulle plocka fram stämpelplattan som skulle användas inser jag att den har jag inte kvar längre!

Snacka om antiklimax. Så det här blev en manikyr i ren desperation typ. Basen är Zoya Dreamy mitt favoritlack när det gäller gula krämlack och mönstret har jag lagt dit med hjälp av Mentality Black Opaque. Själva mönstret kommer från MoYou London Back To The 80' 02.

Det är varken den bästa stampingen jag gjort eller den snyggaste manikyren, men jag gillar den nog ändå. Den symboliserar liksom hur jag kände när jag satt där och svor över mig själv och mitt lilla misstag.

Well, it's time for this weeks things doesn't always turn out the way you planned it post. I had a manicure that I was planning to do for The Nail Challenge Collaborative theme. I sat down and painted with yellow and when I was going to pick up the stamping plate that I needed to use I realize that I haven't got it anymore. I've sold it!

Talk about an anticlimax. So I made a completly different manicure in pure desperation. The base is Zoya Dreamy my favorite nail polish when it comes to yellow cream polish and I have used Mentality Black Opaque for the pattern that comes from MoYou London Back To The 80 '02.

It is neither the best stamping I've done or the best-looking manicure, but I like it anyway. It symbolizes and how I felt when I was sitting there cursing myself and my little mistake.

Misa - Lime Love

Idag blir det ett glatt grönt lack med ett väldigt fint skimmer i. Det här är Misa Lime Love. Ett ljust grönt lack med guldskimmer. En färg som man blir glad av tycker jag och även en färg som jag trivdes väldigt bra i.

Det blev lite strimmigt när man målade med det, men det ordnade sig med topplack. Tre lager har jag och ett lager topplack på bilderna.

Det här är verkligen ett härligt vårlack som jag lätt hade kunnat burit en längre tid utan att tröttna.

Today I have a happy green polish with a very nice shimmer in for you. This is Misa Lime Love. A bright green polish with gold shimmer. A color that makes you smile at least it makes me smile  and also a color that I liked wearing very much.

It did become a bit streaky when applying it, but it smoothed out nicely with topcoat. I have three layers of Lime Love and one of topcoat on the pictures.

This is a truly lovely spring polish that I easily could have worn a long time without getting tired of it. 

Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Darling Diva Polish Into The Groove

Lördag och dagen får nog ägnas åt städning. Och lite frisk luft och lite lackning kanske.

Idag blir det läsarnas val igen och lacket som ni valde till mig förra gången är Darling Diva Polish Into The Groove.

Faktum är att det första jag sa när jag målat på det här var att det ser ut som jag har någon slags sjukdom på naglarna. Alltså var min första tanke inte så där värst positiv. Efter ett par dagar med det här på så är tankarna något bättre, men en favorit blir det nog inte.

Into The Groove består av en grön jellybas med cirkelglitter i olika storlekar i grönt, silver och svart. Det finns även en liten fin skimmereffekt i det. På bilderna har jag tre lager och det funkar utmärkt. Lite fiskande blev det efter glittren, men inte alls så det störde på något sätt. Ett lager med topplack har jag också.

En favorit blir det nog inte, men jag gillar ändå det på något vis. Jag gillar hur det känns som nästan lite 3D effekt när man byggt upp de tre lagren som förresten torkade riktigt snabbt.

It's Saturday and the day will probably be spent cleaning the house, maybe get som fresh air and hopefully some swatching. 

Today it's readers' choice again and the polish that you chose for me the last time is Darling Diva Polish Into the Groove.

In fact, the first thing I said when I painted this on the nails was that it looks like I have some kind of disease of the nails. So my first thought was not that positive. After a few days with this on it is slightly better, but I don't think it ever will be a favorite of mine.

Into the Groove consists of a green jellybase with circle glitter in different sizes in green, silver and black. There is also a small fine shimmer effect in it. In the pictures I have three layers and it works great. You do have to fish a bit to get the glitters, but not as much that it gets disturbing in any way. I have one layer of top coat,

As I said this will probably not be a favorite, but I still like it any way. I like how it feels like almost a little 3D effect when you have built up the three layers which, by the way, also dried really quickly.
