China Glaze - Red-Y & Willing

Jag är faktiskt lite fundersam över varför mitt China Glaze Red-Y & Willing är så pass mycket magenta i som det är. Jag hade ju fått för mig att det skulle vara mycket mer rött än vad det är.

I alla fall så är det ju grymt vackert så jag klagar inte, är bara förvånad. Det var mycket lätt att lacka med och två lager täcker utan problem. På bilderna är det inget topplack.

Oavsett färgen på det här så gillar jag det verkligen väldigt mycket. Älskar djupet i lacket och färgen med för den delen. Jag är verkligen sugen på färger som lutar åt det här hållet och mer röda för tillfället vilket märks när jag letar nya lack.

I'm actually a little puzzled about why my China Glaze Red-Y & Willing is so much magenta in it's color.  I was so sure that it was a lot more red than my bottle is.

Anyway it's still a great beauty so I'm not complaining, just surprised. It was very easy to paint with, and two layers makes it cover without any problems. In the pictures, there is no topcoat.

Regardless of the color of this, I like it really very much. Love the depth in the polish. And right now this and more red ones are the types of polishes that I'm reaching for me repainting my nails. Which shows when I scout for new polishes.

The Lady Varnishes - The Phantom

Det är alltid väldigt kul att testa nya märken tycker jag. Just det här hittade jag när jag var på jakt efter ett lack till en av tjejerna i vår födelsedagsgrupp. Och självklart kunde jag ju inte låta bli att köpa ett till mig själv också.

The Lady Varnishes är ett Indiemärke som jag hittade på Etsy och föll dels för fina färger, men också för dom söta små hängena på flaskorna. Lacket jag visar idag heter The Phantom och kommer från en kollektion som heter Naughty Boys. Det är ett riktigt mörkt plommonfärgat lack med massor av microglitter i rött, brons och guld. Det är så mörkt att det nästan skulle kunna uppfattas som brunaktigt.

Lite knepigt att få jämt först tyckte jag, men tredje och sista lagret rättade till det hela bra och jag måste säga att det är ett supervackert lack. Det torkar nästan lite matt så topplack är att föredra. Lite vampigt, lite hemligt och mystiskt nästan. Ett lack som jag trivs i suveränt bra.

Något som jag också tyckte var kul när jag skulle beställa var dels att jag fick bestämma färg på det lilla hänget, men också att man kan få det här med flera olika dofter eller helt utan doft vilket jag valde. Kul grej i alla fall.

Jag var nöjd med mitt första möte med The Lady Varnishes och kan mycket väl tänka mig att köpa fler från märket.

It's always great to try new brands. I found this brand when I was looking for a polish to give to one of the ladies in our birthday group. And of course I couldn't resist buying on bottle for myself as well.

The Lady Varnishes are an Indie Brand that I found on Etsy and fell for both because it looked like nice colors, but also for those cute little charms on the bottles. The polish I am showing today is called The Phantom and comes from a collection called Naughty Boys. It's a really dark plum-colored coat with lots of micro glitter in red, bronze and gold. It is so dark that it almost could be seen as brownish.

A little tricky to get evenly at first I thought, but the third and final layer straightened it all out and I must say it's a super nice polish. It dries almost a little dull so a topcoat is preferable. A little vampy, a little secret and mystical almost. A polish that I enjoy wearing very much.

Something that I also thought was fun when I ordered were that I had got to decide the color of the charm that hangs on the bottle and also that you can get it this with several different scents or no scent at all which I chose. Fun thing in all cases.

I was happy with my first encounter with The Lady Varnishes and can well imagine buying more from the brand.

NailArt Sunday - Marockanskt

Hur svårt ska det vara att dra ett par raka streck egentligen? Tydligen svårt som tusan för min idé för dagens NailArt Sunday var ju att göra den Marockanska Flaggan som är röd med en grön stjärna. Kan säga att jag gjorde tre-fyra stycken varianter som åkte av fortare än kvickt.

Nä, den här är verkligen inte perfekt heller, men nu orkade jag inte strula mer. Det syns ju klart och tydligt att det är en stjärna i alla fall och jag får faktiskt vara nöjd med det.

Det röda lacket är Powder Perfect With My High Heels On och det gröna är gjort med hjälp av Barielle Date Night.

How difficult can it be to draw some straight lines? Apparently hard as hell for my idea for today's nail art Sunday was to make the Moroccan flag that is red with a green star. Can say that I did three or four variants that went off faster than you can imagine.

Nah, this is certainly not perfect either, but I decided to give up and just let it be this way. It appears quite clear and obvious that there is a star anyway, and I'll just have to be satisfied with that.

The red polish is Powder Perfect With My High Heels On and the green is done using Barielle Date Night.

Läsarnas Val / Reader's Choice - Smitten Polish Claddagh

Igår var det arkivbilder och idag är det pinfärska bilder istället. För lacket som vann förra veckans omröstning sitter just nu på mina naglar och jag kan säga att jag njuter!

Smitten Polish Claddagh är ett helt underbart grönt holo. Det är faktiskt ingenting som jag inte gillar med det här lacket. Färgen är helt suverän, holoeffekten är underbar, att måla med det var hur smidigt som helst och det torkade fort. Tadam!

Om ni inte vid det här laget insett att jag gillar lacket så vet jag inte riktigt hur jag ska få er att förstå det. Möjligen genom att be er att titta på bilderna så ni också blir lite hänförda kanske.

Jag har tre lager på och ett lager med Seche över. Har en känsla av att städningen idag kommer gå så mycket lättare med lite vackert att titta på samtidigt.

Till nästa vecka lät jag sonen dyka ner i otestat lådan igen, han ställde villkor. Jag fick inte ändra något av lacken han plockade upp så därför är det med ett par som rätt nyligen varit röstbara, men det misstänker jag inte spelar så stor roll.

Yesterday I showed you pictures from my archive and today you get fresh taken photos instead. For the polish that won last week's vote is sitting on my nails right now and I can say that I enjoy it!

Smitten Polish Claddagh is an absolutely wonderful green holo. There is actually nothing that I do not like about this polish. The color is absolutely superb, the holoeffect is wonderful, it's super smooth to paint with and it dried quickly. Tadam!

If you have not by now realized that I like this polish I don't know how I will make you understand it. Possibly by asking you to look at the pictures so you also get to see what I see.

I have three layers and a layer of Seche over. I have a feeling that cleaning th house today will go so much easier with this beauty to watch simultaneously.

For next weeks vote I let my son dive into my untested box again, he told me there were conditions if he should help me. I had no right to change any of the polishes he picked so there is two polishes that has been in the poll quite recently, but I suspect that it doesn't matter so much.

Zoya - Charla

Det är äntligen fredag och jag tycker vi firar det med ett av mina absoluta favoritlack. Ett sånt där lack som jag plockar fram när jag inte känner för något annat eller om jag ska iväg på en längre resa eller så.

Ni har sett det förut och kommer alldeles troligen få se det igen. Det är ju förstås Zoya Charla som jag pratar om. Dom här bilderna har legat i mitt arkiv ett tag och jag tror jag tog dom i våras eller början av sommaren.

Underbara Charla är ett blå/turkost lack. Jag vet inte riktigt om jag ska kalla det för Foil eller Metallic eller skimmer för det känns som att det är lite av varje faktiskt. Och helt ärligt så spelar det inte någon roll för det är sjukt fint oavsett vad det nu är för finish.

Jag har tre lager och ett lager med Poshe över. Och som jag sa det är inte sista gången jag lär visa det här.

It's finally Friday and I think we should celebrate it with one of my absolute favorite polishes. One of those polish that I pick up when I can't deciede on what polish to wear or if I'm going away on a long trip or so.

You've seen it before and will most likely be seeing it again. It is Zoya Charla I'm talking about. These pictures have been in my archives for a while and I think I took them in the spring or early summer.

Wonderful Charla is a blue / turquoise polish. I don't really know if I should call it a Foil or metallic or shimmer it feels like there is a bit of everything really. And quite honestly, it doesn't matter because it's so incredible beautiful regardless of what finish it is.

I have three layers and a layer of Poshe. And as I said it's not the last time I will get to show it here.
