Cupcake Polish - Bat-chelor Pad

Det var länge sedan jag visade något lack från Cupcake Polish känns det som så därför ändrar vi på detta faktum idag. Dessutom med en riktigt snygging.

Bat-chelor Pad är ett riktigt mörkt blått lack med en ursnygg holo. Och det täcker på ett lager vilket alltid är väldigt trevligt. Man kanske behöver två om man tar något tunnare lager, men jag körde på med lite tjockare från början och klarade mig således med ett. Torktiden var riktigt snabb och jag har topplack över på bilderna.

Jag har en del liknande lack i min samling, men det här har ett så snyggt djup i den mörkblåa färgen så jag blev verkligen riktig förtjust i det. Sen att det då dessutom var en fröjd att måla med gör ju givetvis saken ännu bättre. Kommer gå till skolan och känna mig snygg som tusan med det här på naglarna.

It feels like it was a long time ago I showed any polish from Cupcake Polish here so therefore I will now change that today. And with a real nice one.

Bat-chelor Pad is a really dark blue polish with a gorgeous holo. And it covers in one layer which always is very nice. You might need two if you take thinner layers than what I did. But if you like me paint a little thicker one that will be enough. The drying time was really fast and I have a topcoat over in the pictures.

I have some similar polishes in my collection, but this has such a pretty depth in the blue color so I'm really fond of it. Then of course there is a fact that it is a one coater. I will go to school and feel stylish as hell with this on the nails.

Depend O2 - 507

Låt oss börja veckan med ett lack som är alldeles solgult och glatt. Det här är Depend O2 507 från vårkollektionen Game, Set, Match.

Gula lack kan ofta vara rätt knepiga att jobba med, men det tyckte jag inte att det här var. Visst, jag har tre lager på bilderna, men det tror jag faktiskt är lite mitt eget fel. För om jag tagit lite tjockare på andra lagret hade nog det räckt. Första lagret blev lite strimmigt, men det rättade till sig snabbt och med topplack på blev det riktigt slätt och fint.

Gula lack är fortfarande något som jag inte är helt komfortabel med i alla fall inte den här årstiden. Det är skillnad på sommaren när man fått lite färg tycker jag. Alltså känner jag så här inför det här lacket. Färgen är riktigt fin. Solgul och glad. Just i lördags när jag bar det kändes det inte helt rätt, men jag tror att jag skulle känna helt annorlunda om det varit en solig Julidag. Alltså är det ett jättefint lack som bars vid fel tillfälle.

Let's start the week with a polish that has a  happy sunny yellow color. This is Depend O2 507 from the spring collection Game, Set, Match.

Yellow polishes can often be quite tricky to work with, but I didn't think this was. Sure, I have three layers on the pictures, but I actually think that is my own fault. Because if I had taken a little thicker on the second layer two could probably be enough. The first layer was a little streaky, but that got quickly corrected and with top coat on it became really smooth and nice.

Yellow polish is still something that I'm not completely comfortable with at least not this season. There is a difference in the summer when you have a gotten a little tan I think. So I feel like this about this polish. The color is really nice. Sunny and happy. But I wore this last Saturday and that didn't feel quite right, but I think I would feel quite differently if it had been a sunny day in July. So it is a very nice polish but worn at the wrong time.

 

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Presents: Winter #2

Vintern är ju långt ifrån över så i vår grupp The Nail Challenge Collaborative har vi tagit fasta på detta och använder oss av vinter som tema denna månaden.

Min andra manikyr är baserat på Lilypad Lacquer Peace of Me som jag sen stämplat med MoYou Londons White Knight och mönster från MoYou London Festive 01.

En ganska glad vintermanikyr och även om man kanske kan tycka att det här lika gärna kunde vara en julmanikyr så är det ju faktiskt så att där jag bor i södra Sverige är det oftare snö i Januari än i December.

Winter's far from over and in the group The Nail Challenge Collaborative, we have taken note of this and have winter as our theme this month.

My second manicure is based on Lilypad Lacquer Peace of Me as I then have stamped with MoYou London's White Knight and patterns from MoYou London Festive 01.

A pretty happy winter manicure and although one might think that this could just as easily be a Christmas manicure it's a fact that where I live in the south of Sweden, it often is no snow in December but in January.

Reader's Choice - OPI Underneath The Mistletoe

Lördag och jag borde städa, men har inte riktigt ork till det. Ikväll ska vi iväg och fira min brors födelsedag, bättre att vara pigg och glad då än att slita ut sig med att städa hus.

Det är som vanligt läsarnas val idag och det var egentligen två lack som fick lika många röster, men jag valde att visa det som hade flest röster till största delen av röstningstiden. Så idag får ni se Underneath the Mistletoe ett lack som kom ut 2013, jag köpte det inte då, men hittade det senare i en bloggsale. Det är ett vinrött jellylack med glitter i. Jag är inte alltid kompis med jellylack, men det här var helt ok att måla med och jag tyckte att det räckte med två lager. Kan behövas tre om man har längre naglar. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Jag tycker det här är riktigt fint, visst glittret glittrar inte otroligt mycket, men grundfärgen är riktigt snygg. Från mig får det här absolut en tumme upp. Sen kan vi ju diskutera det här med unikt eller inte i en evighet, men om man bara ska gilla och visa lack som är unika börjar det bli lite knepigt faktiskt.

Till nästa vecka har jag plockat fram tre olika gröna indielack som ni får rösta på.

It's Saturday and I really should clean the house, but I really can't find any energy for it. I'm saving myself for tonight instead. We are going to my brother and celebrate his birthday. Much more fun than cleaning. 

As usual on Saturday's I give you readers' choice and it was really two polishes that got the same amount of votes, but I chose to show the one who had the most votes the majority of the voting period. So today you will see Underneath the Mistletoe a polish which came out in 2013. I didn't buy it then. I'm pretty sure I bought it in a blogsale later. It's a burgundy jelly polish with glitter. I'm not always a good friend with jelly polishes, but this was totally ok to paint with and I thought that it was enough with two layers. You might need three if you have longer nails. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

I think this is really nice ok it doesn't sparkle like crazy, but that doesn't bother me that much since the color is really neat. From me this gets the thumbs up. We can always discuss if it's unique or not in an eternity, but if you just have to like and show polishes that is unique things get a little tricky indeed.

Lilypad Lacquer - Peace of Me

Härligt med fredag! Jag har klarat av första skolveckan i och för sig gick vi bara halva dagar denna veckan, men det känns riktigt bra.

Idag tänker jag visa något av det snyggaste jag haft på naglarna faktiskt. Lilypad Lacquer Peace of Me, ett lack jag fick i min adventskalender. Det här är ett knallblått holo som är helt underbart att måla med. Täcker på två lager och eftersom det är holo så torkar det fort. I alla fall så upplever jag att dom oftast är snabba. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Alltså, det här är så himla fint. Det är länge sedan jag satte på ett lack och bara smälte på en gång, men det gjorde jag den här gången. Dessutom frågade en av de andra deltagarna på kursen idag vad jag hade haft på naglarna igår för hon ville ha ett sånt lack också. Det här kan faktiskt bli svårt att slå.

So nice it's already Friday! I've managed to get my self through the first school week. Only with halfdays maybe I should say but it feels really good.

Today I will show some of the most beautiful polishes I've had on the nails actually. Lilypad Lacquer Peace of Me, a polish I got in my Advent calendar. This is a bright blue holo that is wonderful to paint with. It covers in two layers and because it's holo it also dries quickly. That is the way I feel anyway, that holos drie fast that is. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

So, this is so very very nice. It's a long time since I put on a polish and just melted away, but I did that with this one. Furthermore one of the other participants on my course asked me today what I had on my nails yesterday because she wanted to get a bottle too. This can actually be hard to beat.
