What happened to my 2014 favorites? Part 2

Idag fortsätter förnedringen med att redogöra för vad som hänt med mina favoriter från förra året. Gårdagens lista slutade med enbart 28% var använda igen. Idag är det favoriter inom finishar och låt oss ta kolla vad som hände med dessa lack.

Today I will continue with the humiliation to explain what happened with my favorites from last year. Yesterday's list ended with only 28% being using again. Today is the favorites in differnet finishes and let's check out what happened to these polishes.

Red

Powder Perfect With My High Heels On and guess what today we start with one that has been used again!

Duo/Multichrome

Powder Perfect Fog Is Rollin In and I don't think this has been used again. 

Flakie

Essence Special Effect Topper A Night In Vegas has sadly not been used again. 

Silver

A-England Excalibur has been used in a number of nailarts. Yay to that!

Glitter

Model City Bobbing For Apples is so pretty, but hasn't been used again. 

Jelly

Girly Bits Seriously Sassy and again I'm feeling the shame creeping up because this hasn't been used. 

Holographic 

Superficially Colorful Lacquer The Sacred Tsaheylu another one that stands unused. 

Neon

Pipe Dream Polish V.I.P Pass and no this hasn't been used. 

Glassfleck/Shimmer

Zoya India No, it's not used again. 

So this list turns out even worse that yesterdays becuase I have only used 22% of these polishes again. This is so not ok. I really need to step up and use these pretty polishes more. 

What happened to my 2014 favorites?

Året börjar lida mot sitt slut och det är snart dags att publicera min lista över årets favoriter, men först tänkte jag ta en liten återblick till dom som blev klassade som favoriter förra året och se vad som hänt med dom. Eftersom det här är tredje året i rad jag gör det här så får man väl säga att det blivit en tradition.

Jag tänkte som sagt ta en koll på om jag faktiskt använt dom där som jag tyckte allra bäst om förra året igen eller om dom ens finns kvar i min samling. Sanning och säga så brukar den här listan bli ganska pinsam. Den brukar få mig att inse att jag kanske borde använda dom där lacken som står i lådorna lite oftare och kanske dra ner på inköp av nya, men å andra sidan varför det när det finns så mycket nytt och fint!

Jag brukar dela upp mina favoriter i färger och finishar och så blir ju även det här inlägget då.

Nå i alla fall resterande text i inlägget kommer att bli på engelska så jag slipper att skriva dubbelt under varje bild.

The year is coming to an end and it's almost time to publish my list of this year's favorites, but first I intend to take a little look back to those who were classed as favorites last year and see what has happened to them. This is the third year I'm doing this so one can say that it has become a tradition.

I thought, as I said to take a track of whether I actually used those I liked the very most of last year again or if they even remains in my collection. Truth be told usually this list can be quite embarrassing. It tends to make me realize that maybe I should use the favorites a bit more and maybe cut down on the purchase of new, but on the other hand why when there are so many new and pretty ones out there!

I divide my top lists in colors and finishes so that's how I will list this one too. 

So let's start!

Gold

Well, this is Mentality Legislate and yes it's a great color, but we all know the drama around Mentality so no I don't have this polish anymore it's been thrown at the recycling yard. 

Silver

Depend 2080 I still have it but hasn't used it again. 

Blue

Mentality Brute I love this color, but this bottle is at the recycling yard and not in my stash anymore.

Brown

OPI Warm & Fozzie no it hasen't been used.

Grey

Powder Perfect The Clave I'm glad to say that I have been using this again.

Green

Depend 426 a gorgeous green that I for some reason hasn't used since I showed it on the blog.

Yellow

Glam Polish Ba-Na-Na! This was included in my top 5 yellow polishes so yes I have used it again.

Purple

Depend 419 and no it hasn't been used.

Orange

Pretty Serious My Darlin' Clementine another beautiful polish that I haven't used.

Pink

OPI Girls Love Ponies and finally another polish that has been used again!

Red

Smitten Polish Nose So Bright and now I'm ashamed because this has not been used again. I was going to wear it on Christmas Eve, but changed my mind at the last minute.

Teal

Zoya Remy, no not used.

Black

Rainbow Honey Nyx has been used several times actually!

White

Etude House Play #130 another one that sadly hasn't been used again.

So on this first list of my favorites from 2014 only 4 of 14 has been used again that is only 28%. Shame on me!!

My Favorite Nail Art from 2014

Som ni säkert förstår av titeln så kunde jag ju inte låta bli att göra en liten lista över de manikyrer med Nail Art som jag varit mest nöjd med under året. Jag tycker nog själv att jag utvecklats en del och det var svårt att få ner det till 10 stycken som jag tänkt så det blev 11. Det är en liten blandad konfekt med stamping, frihand, decaler, gradients och leadlight. Dom är inte i någon speciell ordning.

Jag är nyfiken på vilken av dom här som ni tycker är bäst, så lämna gärna en kommentar.

As you probably understand by the titel of this post I have made a list of those Nail Art manicures that I've made during the year that I'm most pleased with. I do think that I have gotten a bit better at Nail Art, but I still have a long way to go. It was hard to choose 10 manicures so it's actually 11 that I will show. It's a mix of stamping, freehanded, decals, gradients and leadlight tecnique.  I haven't put them in any special order just random.

My top polishes 2014 part 2

När jag skrev ihop mina favoriter förra året så roade jag mig också med lite statistik över hur min samling förändrats under året. Från 2012 till 2013 hade den ökat med 203 lack eller 16,92 per månad. Statistik nerd som man är så kunde jag ju inte låta bli att kolla hur läget var vid samma tidpunkt detta året. 27/12 förra året bestod min samling av 487 lack. Samma datum ett år senare så har den utökats till 625 stycken. Ökningstakten har gått ner lite för nu ligger den på 11,5 per månad. Det här året har jag faktiskt rensat ganska mycket och sålt en hel del lack vilket jag kommer fortsätta med. Sista delen av året har jag inte heller hittat kollektioner som jag varit så himla sugen på vilket kan tyckas bra för min plånbok i alla fall.

Jag tänkte avsluta det här året med del två av listan över mina favoritlack under 2014. Den här biten är lite knepigare att få ihop då jag ibland kan tycka att det är svårt att skilja mellan olika finishar.

Som ni säkert kommer ihåg från del ett så är det alltså inte bara lack som utgivna i år utan jag har valt från alla lack som jag skrivit inlägg om.

Hoppas ni hittar något som ni gillar. Själv tycker jag faktiskt det är löjligt kul att kolla på alla andras liknande listor.

When I published my list of favorites last year I also amused myself  with some statistics about how my collection changed over the year. From 2012 to 2013 it had risen by 203 bottles of polish or 16.92 per month. Since I'm a big Statistics nerd I couldn't resist to check the situation at the same time this year. 27/12 2013 my collection consisted of 487 bottles of polish. On the same date a year later, it has expanded to 625 bottles. The growth rate slowed down a bit it was actually at 11.5 per month. This year I have actually cleared out quite a lot and sold a lot of  polihses which I will continue to do. The last part of the year, I have not found any collections that I've been really hungry for which may seem good for my wallet anyway.

My last post for this year will be part two of my list over favorite polishes from 2014. This part of the list is a bit trickier for me to do since I sometimes find it hard to seperate different finishes. 

As you probably remember from part one I don't only choose from polishes that was released this year but from all of the polishes that I've written posts about during the year.

My top polishes 2014 part 1

Vare sig man vill det eller inte så börjar det här året lida mot sitt slut och jag vill precis som föregående år bjuda på min topplista.

Jag har inte bara lack som är från 2014 i min lista utan jag har valt utifrån de inlägg jag publicerat under året. Faktum är att det hade blivit en ganska liten samling att göra urvalet ifrån om jag bara valt från lack som är utgivna i år. Av alla inlägg jag publicerat är nämligen inte mer än 44 av dom med lack från i år.

Precis som föregående år har jag valt att dela in min lista i två olika inlägg och i olika färg och finish kategorier.

Så mina vänner här följer nu mina favoriter år 2014.

Whether we want it or not this year is close to it's end and I would like to, just like previous years, show you my top list.

In the list there is not only polishes that was released 2014 instead I have choosen from the polishes that I have published posts about during the year. In fact, it had become a rather small amount of polishes to choose from if I had choosen only from polishes from 2014. Of all the post I published during the year there is actually only 44 that is with polishes released this year.
