Grön Onsdag - Pretty & Polished Go With The Pisces Flow

Jag bestämde mig just för att det här lutar mest åt grönt så jag kan vara med på Vacker & Underbara Karins gröna onsdag.

Det här är Pretty & Polished Go With The Pisces Flow ett grön/blått crelly med glitter i blått och grönt även om jag nog tycker att det ser lite guldigt ut när glittren väl är på nageln.

Glittren sjunker lätt till botten av flaskan på det här lacket, men är lätta att skaka upp igen och precis som med många andra så blir det lite fiskande för att få upp dom. I övrigt så var det mycket lättlackat tyckte  jag. När man tittar på det i flaskan så hade i alla fall jag tveksamheter om det skulle kunna täcka på egen hand, men det hade jag inte behövt bekymra mig om. Det här är tre lager och det funkade utmärkt.

Kanske något segt i torktiden, men med Insta-Dri funkar det utmärkt.

I flaskan ser det här inte så kul ut tycker jag, men jag måste säga att jag verkligen gillade färgen när jag väl hade den på naglarna. Ännu en sån där lugn och skön färg. Glittrena är mer som en accessoar som inte är supertydliga, men även det tilltalade mig.

I decided that this leans more towards green than blue just so I could participate in Vacker & Underbara Karin's Green Wednesday. 

This is Pretty & Polished Go With The Flow Pisces Flow a green/blue crelly with glitter in blue and green, although I probably think it looks a bit like gold when the glitters are on the nail.

The glitters easily falls to the bottom of the bottle on this polish, but are easy to shake up again and just like with many other similar polishes you do need to do a little fishing to get them up. Otherwise it was very easy to work with, I thought. When you look at it in the bottle I had my doubts about this being able to cover on it's own, but I didn't had to worry about that. This is three coats and it worked excellent.

Maybe a little slow in the drying time, but with Insta-Dri over the problem was fixed.

I didn't think this look to interesting in the bottle, but I have to say I really liked the color once I had it on my nails. Yet one of those calm and beautiful colors. The glitters is more like an accessory that is not super clear, but it also appealed to me.

Pretty & Polished - Lady Lavender

Igår fick vi en liten vilodag utan solsken, men nu är solen tillbaka och jag ska strax ge mig av mot grannens trädgård och en fika.

Men först ska jag visa er ett fint lila glitterlack från Pretty & Polished. Lady Lavender heter det och det är absolut ett lavenderlila lack som också innehåller microglitter i silver och större glitter i mörkare lila.

Det här var lätt att måla med även om det som vanligt var lite tjurigt att få upp de större glittren ur flaskan, men jag tyckte inte det gjorde så mycket för egentligen tycker jag att jag kunde nöjt mig med de små glittren i lila. Nu är det ju inte så att jag tycker att lacket blev fult med dom stora eller så, men jag gillar det minst lika bra utan.

För själva färgen på det här tycker jag mycket om. En del färger är roliga på det viset att dom är inte ett dugg diskreta och ändå känner man att det är en så mjuk färg att den inte sticker ut och det här är en sådan.

Jag har tre lager på. Det torkar snabbt och över det hela har jag Insta-Dri.

Yesterday we got a little from the sunshine, but now the sun is back and I'll go to my neighbor's garden for a nice chat and some snacks.

But first I'll show you a fine purple glitter polish from Pretty & Polished. It's called Lady Lavender and it is absolutely a lavender purple polish which also contains micro glitter in silver and larger in darker purple.

This was easy to apply, even if it was as usual a little sulkily to bring up the larger glitter from the bottle, but I didn't think it did so much really, I think I could have done without the bigger once. Now it is not that I think that the polish was ugly with the big or so, but I like it just as well without.

Because I really like the color of this polish. Some colors are fun in the sense that they are not the least bit subtle and yet you feel that it's such a soft color that it does not stand out and this is one such.

I have three coats on. It dries quickly and over it all I have Insta-Dri.

Pretty & Polished - I Don't Think You're Ready For This Crelly

Med min beställning från Edgy Polish hade Katarina skickat med ett gäng med lack från Pretty & Polished som hon ville jag skulle testa.

Det första av dom är I Don't Think You'r Ready For This Crelly ett blått crelly som är fullt med glitter i silver, blått och lila i olika storlekar. Jag valde att lägga det här över Pipe Dream Polish All In, men jag har sett en hel del swatcher med det här på egen hand och jag tror nästan det hade varit bättre.

Själva formulan är det absolut inget fel på, men tyvärr så är glittren lite svårfångade så man får fiska lite grann för att få upp dom. Jag har två lager på och sen ett lager av Insta-Dri. Jag tror att jag skulle tagit ett lager topplack till för att jämna till det hela lite mera. Nu sticker glittren upp lite grann.

Allt som allt så tycker jag det här är ett fint lack även om det kanske inte är någon favorit direkt.

With my order from Edgy Polish Katarina had also sent me a bunch of polishes from Pretty & Polished she wanted me to try.

The first of them is I Don't Think You're Ready For This Crelly a blue crelly that is full of glitter in silver, blue and purple in various sizes. I chose to put this over Pipe Dream Polish All In, but I've seen a lot of swatches with this on it's own and I almost think it would have been better.

The actual formula is absolutely nice, but unfortunately the glitters are a bit hard to catch on the brush so you have to do some fishing around in the bottle. I have two coats of IDTYRFTC and then a layer of Insta-Dri. I think at least one more coat of topcoat would have been a good idea. As it is now the glitters stands up a bit from the nail.

All in all, I think this is a fine polish although it might not be one of my favorites.

Pretty & Polished - April Showers

Dags att testa något nytt, nämligen färgskiftande lack.

Det här är Pretty & Polished April Showers ett lack som ser ganska ljusblått ut i flaskan, med lite glitter i. Ett ganska så skirt lack faktiskt. Det tog mig fyra lager innan jag var nöjd med resultatet. Fast att lacka med det var smidigt så dom fyra lagren var väl inte någon större katastrof. Glittren följde med upp ur flaskan lätt också och det är alltid positivt när det kommer till glitterlack.

Hur är det då med det där att det ska ändra färg? I beskrivningen står det att det ska bli vitt när det är varmt. Vitt är väl kanske att ta i tycker jag, men det blir riktigt ljust, ljust blått. Dock tyckte jag att det tog ganska mycket varmvatten för att få det att skifta och det skiftade snabbt tillbaka igen.

Alltså, jag gillar idén och nu ska jag ju i ärlighetens namn säga att det var inte en speciellt varm dag när jag målade med det här vilket säkert påverkar hur fort det ändrar färg. Jo, jag är absolut villig att testa igen.

Time to try something new, namely, color changing polish.

This is Pretty & Polished April Showers a polish that looks light blue in the bottle, with a little glitter in. A pretty sheer polish actually. It took me four layers before I was satisfied with the result. But the polish was very nice to apply so the four layers was not any major disaster. The glitters was also easy to get to follow up on the brush from the bottle and it's always positive when it comes to glitter polishes.

How about changing color then? In the description it says that it will be white when it's hot. White is perhaps ot exactly how I would describe it, but it gets really bright, bright blue. However, I thought that it took quite a lot of hot water to get it to shift and it shifted quickly back again.

I really like the idea of color changing polishes. I think it's fun and I can honestly say that it was not a particularly hot day when I painted with this which certainly affects how fast it changes color. Well, I'm certainly willing to try again .

Pretty & Polished - Romance Is Dead

Ok, vi fortsätter med lack som jag inte riktigt vet varför jag köpte. Eller det är nog förresten fel i det här fallet, för jag tror att det var namnet som jag gillade och att lacket var fint, men kanske inte så unikt.

Vi pratar om Pretty & Polished Romance Is Dead ett lila skimmer lack som ingår i en kollektion som heter Heavy Metall och jag tror svaret på varför jag köpte lacket finns där. Vem kan motstå lack från en kollektion med ett sånt namn?

Nåväl, det är en snygg färg absolut, men inte unik och jag har liknande i min samling. Det här var lite knepigt att applicera tycker jag. Penseln ville gärna dra med sig lacket om man försökte dra mer än en gång på samma ställe. Tre lager har jag på och inget Seche på bilderna.

Jo, jag gillar lacket, men om jag behöver det i min samling är väl tveksamt kanske.

Ok, we continue with polishes that I don't really know why I bought. Or actually I do think I know why I bought this and it's the name! I liked the name and bought the polish. Well I did think it was a nice color as well.

We're talking about Pretty & Polished Romance Is Dead a purple shimmer polish that is part of a collection called Heavy Metal and I think the answer to why I bought the polish is there. Who can resist polish from a collection with a name like that?

Well, it's a great color definitely but not unique and I have similar in my collection. This was a little tricky to apply, I think. If you weren't carefull you did get bald spots. I have three layers on, and no Seche on the pictures.

Well, I like the polish, but if I need it in my collection might be doubtful.
