Reader's Choice - KB Shimmer Carpe Denim

Haft en skön lördag och mest ägnat mig åt att swatcha och lyssna på ljudbok.

Dessutom sitter jag nu med ett ursnyggt lack på naglarna som ni valde åt mig förra läsarnas val. KB Shimmer Carpe Denim har en mörk jeansblå bas och massa silverglitter i den. Smidigt att måla med och glittret följer med utan någon som helst problem och sprider sig fint på nageln. Två lager räcker för täckning. Ytan blir nästan helt slät, men topplack gör att glittret kommer fram något mer tycker jag.

Den här typen av glitterlack är precis den typ jag gillar bäst och färgen på det här passar en jeanstjej som mig som handen i handsken. Det finns absolut ingenting som jag ogillar med det här lacket så ett stort tummen upp från mig för dagens lack.

Inser nu när jag sitter och skriver att det ser ut som tre jullack som ni får att rösta på till nästa gång, men julkollektionerna har faktiskt redan börjat trilla in så varför inte.

So far I have had a nice Saturday with some swatching and a lot of listening to my audiobook.

And I am now wearing a gorgeous polish on the nails that you chose as my readers' choice. KB Shimmer Carpe Denim has a dark jeans blue base and lots of silver glitters in it. Smooth to paint with  the and glitter spreads out on the nails very easily. Two layers are enough for coverage. The surface is almost completely smooth, but I think that topcoat makes the glitters shine through more and gives it a little more bling. 

This kind of glitter polish is just the kind I like best and the color of this fits a jeansgirl like so well. There is absolutely nothing I dislike with this polish, so a big thumbs up from me for today's reader's choice.

I realize now when I'm sitting writing this that it looks like three Christmas polishes that you'll have to vote for next time, but why not since Christmas collections already has started to show up. 

KB Shimmer - Smells Like Green Spirit

Idag är det grön onsdag hos Karin och det firas med ett glittrande härligt lack från KB Shimmer.

Smells Like Green Spirit består av microglitter i en vad jag skulle vilja säga grodgrön nyans. Själva formulan på lacket var hur bra som helst och det täcker på två lager, dock var det en något spretig pensel i min flaska som irriterade mig en aning. Det torkar lite åt det matta hållet, så jag tycker att topplack är nödvändigt för att få fram det rätta glittret i lacket.

Det här är verkligen fint, men jag är inte stormförtjust. Jag tror det är något i den gröna nyansen som gör att jag inte faller hals över huvud för det här. Vad säger ni, något som hade gått hem i er lacksamling?

Today is Wednesday and that means that Karin is inviting us all to join her green Wednesday and I will show you a beautiful glitter from KB Shimmer.

Smells Like Green Spirit consists of microglitter in what I would like to say a frog green shade. The formula of the polish is really good and it covers in two layers, but the brush had some straws sticking out that made me a bit annoyed. It dries a bit on the matte side, so I think topcoat is necessary to get the glitter to stand out as it should. 

This is really nice, but I'm not super exited. I think there's something in the green hue that doesn't make me fall totally in love with this.  What's your oppinon? Would it have a home in your collection?

Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Flowers #3

Idag kombinerar jag Nail Challenge Collaboratives blomtema med Karins gröna onsdag.

Basen är det ljuvliga KB Shimmer Ready For A Good Lime som jag stämplat med mönster från MoYou London Pro 15 och det svarta lacket är Milani Black Swift. Jag bestämde mig också för att mina blommer behövde lite gult i mitten så jag la dit en gul prick med hjälp av OPI My Twin Mimmy.

Jag är så himla nöjd med den här manikyren!

Today, I combine Nail Challenge Collaborative Flower Theme with Karin's Green Wednesday.

The base is the lovely KB Shimmer Ready For A Good Lime, that I stamped with a pattern from MoYou London Pro 15 and the black polish is Milani Black Swift. I also decided that my flowers needed a little yellow in the middle so I added a yellow dot with the help of OPI My Twin Mimmy.

I'm so happy with this manicure!

KB Shimmer - Ready For A Good Lime

Vet ni, det enda jag inte gillar med det här lacket är att det inte riktigt går att fånga på bild! I verkligheten är det mer grönt än vad jag lyckades få fram på bild.

Jag pratar om det helt underbara Ready For A Good Lime från KB Shimmer ett limegrönt neon krämlack. Hur smidigt som helst att måla med och täcker på två lager. Första kan bli lite strimmigt om man tar för tunnt. Torktiden var också riktigt bra. Dock är inte det här en äkta neon för det torkar inte matt, men så nära man bara kan komma.

Det här är verkligen glädje i en flaska lack. Jag har bara älskat att bära det här lacket sen i lördags och fått en hel del komplimanger också kan jag lova.

You know, the only thing I don't like about this polish is that it's soo hard to capture on photo! In reality it's more green than shown here. 

I'm talking about the absolutely wonderful Ready For A Good Lime from KB Shimmer a lime green neon cream polish. Very easy to paint with and covers in two layers. The first can get a little streaky if you paint with thin layers. The drying time was also really good. However, this is not a real neon because it doesn't dry matte, but as close as you can get I promise. 

This is really happinnes in a bottle of polish. I've just loved wearing this since Saturday and I can promise you that I've got a lot of compliments too.

KB Shimmer - Neon Me

Idag blir det ett härligt lekfullt lack. Det här är Neon Me från KB Shimmer, ett märke som jag har börjat gilla mer och mer.

Neon Me består av en mjölkaktig jellybas med neonglitter i olika storlekar. Tre lager kan nog vara ok, men jag är ju lite gnetig när det gäller att det ska täcka ordentligt så jag har fyra på bilderna. Dock var det lättmålade lager som torkade fort. Glittren var lätta att få med sig upp från flaskan och spred ut sig bra på naglarna. Jag har topplack över på bilderna.

Jag lyckades stöta i lillfingernageln innan det var helt torrt så den är lite ojämn, men i vilket fall som helst så gillar jag verkligen det här lacken. Ett riktigt härligt sommarlack med roliga inslag och ändå den där fräscha känslan som man får av vita lack. Dock var inte min man lika imponerad, men han får stå ut med att ha en fru med mycket olika färger och glitter på naglarna.

Today, I will show you a beautiful playful polish. This is Neon Me from KB Shimmer, a brand I have started to like more and more.

Neon Me consists of a milky jelly base with neonglitters in different sizes. Three layers may be ok, but I'm a little picky when it comes to covering properly so I have four in the pictures. However, it was easily painted layers that dried fast. The glitter was easy to get up from the bottle and spread out well on the nails. I have a topcoat on in the pictures.

I managed to bump into something with my little finger before it was completely dry so it's a bit uneven there, but in any case, I really like this polish. A really nice summer polish with fun elements and yet the fresh feeling that comes from a white polish. However, my husband was not as impressed, but I guess he is used of having a wife with very different colors and glitters on her nails by now. 

July Haul

Det är dags att visa vad jag tillfört till min samling under Juli, har inte mer på ingång just nu, men i Augusti kommer det säkerligen mer för just nu är jag grymt sugen på att köpa nya lack och det är bäst att passa på innan jag blir arbetslös igen och ekonomin inte kommer tillåta det.

En del av lacken har jag redan visat här på bloggen, men det kommer lite flaskbilder på allihopa i alla fall.

It's time to show my haul from July. I don't have any more incoming right now but I'm sure there will be more to show in August. I'm in such a polishbuying mood right now. And it's best to shop now before I get unemployed again and wont have the money for it.

Man fyller faktiskt bara år en gång om året och då måste man ha riktigt fina naglar! Hurra hurra för mig idag :)

Julis månadssten är Rubin och förra året gav KB Shimmer ut en kollektion med lack inspirerade av månadsstenarna. Självklart köpte jag lacket som heter Ruby. Lacket är metallicflakiefoil, jo jag vet det där låter konstigt, men det är faktiskt en blandning av de olika finisharna. Det är helt galet smidigt att jobba med och man kan säkert ha bara ett lager, men jag tycker färgen djupnar lite om man tar två så det har jag på bilderna och topplack över.

Alltså det här lacket är bara galet fint. Det gnistrar om det och det glänser som av metall, det har faktiskt allting som jag kan önska i ett lack inklusive färgen för rött, det blir jag aldrig trött eller mätt på.

Fact is that you only celebrate your birthday one time of the year and for me that time is today! And for me having spectaculary nice nails is something that is important. So Happy Birthday to me today :)

Juli's moonstone is Ruby and last year, KB Shimmer released a collection of polishes inspired by the moonstones. Of course I bought the one called Ruby. The polish is a metallicflakiefoil, though I know it sounds strange, but it's actually a mix of the various finishes. It's like perfection to work with this polish and you probably can have only one layer, but I think the color gets a bit deeper if you take two so I have two in the pictures and topcoat over.

So this polish is just amazing. It sparkles and it shines like metal, it actually has everything I want in a polish including the color red, I'll never get tired of that color.

KB Shimmer - Macaw Me Maybe

När man ska gå på sin brorsons student ska naglarna var snygga och jag måste säga att jag inte kunde fått så mycket finare än det här på naglarna.

KB Shimmer Macaw Me Maybe är ett papegojrött holo som täcker på två lager och torkar fort. På bilderna har jag topplack över. Det var suveränt att jobba med kan jag tillägga.

Att jag skulle låta bli att köpa ett lack som har något med papegojor att göra är inte troligt (fast alla har jag faktiskt inte..) och när det dessutom är ett rött så går oddsen för att jag ska låta bli ner betydligt. Det här lacket är bara suveränt på alla sätt faktiskt. Färgen, holon och formulan är underbara allihopa.

When going to my nephew's graduation the nails should be awesome and I have to say that I could not have gotten much nicer than this on the nails.

KB Shimmer Macaw Me Maybe is a parrot red holo that covers in two layers and dries fast. In the pictures I have topcoat over. I can also say that it was amazing to work with. 

The chanses that I wouldn't buy a polish that has anything to do with parrots is unlikely (though I do not really have them all.) And when it's red, the odds for me not to buy is really low. This polish is just superb in every way actually. The color, the holo and the formula are all wonderful.

April's Haul

En liten men naggande god samling lack dök upp i April, jag blev lite för sugen på att köpa något för att låta bli, men nu ska jag verkligen försöka att lägga band på mig igen.

Det som trillade in var några lack från KB Shimmer som jag velat ha ett tag och så det där lacket som alla älskar som inte funnits i min samling, nämligen China Glaze Fairy Dust.

A small but very nice collection of polishes showed up in April, I haven't been buying anything since late November, early December and my wish to get some news was too big now.  But from now on I will really try to hold myself back again. 

The polishes that came into my stash was some from KB Shimmer that I wanted to have for a while, and that polish that everyone loves that have been missing in my collection up until now, namely China Glaze Fairy Dust

Återigen ett riktigt GOTT NYTT ÅR! till er allihopa. Det har blivit en tradition att lista mina favoriter från det gångna året och som vanligt har jag valt att göra det i färg och finish kategorier.

Idag blir det färgkategorierna som presenteras och även i år har jag valt att inte välja bland lacken som kom ut 2016 utan bland de lack som jag visade 2016. Alltså kan det vara äldre lack som jag har gillat bäst.

Igår var första jobbardagen efter semestern och även första jobbardagen på sista veckan på jobbet jag har nu. Jag tänker vända blad i boken och gå vidare efter mer än 10 år på samma ställe.

Och när det är sista veckan måste man ju ha riktigt snygga naglar, dessutom är det ju fortfarande min födelsedagsmånad och jag har liksom sparat på det här lacket tills dess.

Lacket är KB Shimmer Ruby som är en del i Birthstone kollektionen som släpptes i Januari. Ruby eller Rubin på svenska är Julis månadssten och även månadslack. Ett körsbärsrött lack gjort av metallflakes. Så smidigt att jobba med och täcker på två snabbtorkande lager. På bilderna har jag topplack också.

Jag gillar rött, jag är född i Juli så det här är nästan som gjort för mig faktiskt. Jag tycker det är helt fantastiskt vackert. Ni skulle bara se hur det glimmar i solen. Tyvärr har jag inga mer från den här kollektionen och mer lär det inte bli just nu heller då jag som snart arbetslös måste hålla ner lite på mina inköp.

Yesterday was the first working day after my summer vacation and also the first working day of the last week at my job. The book of my life will turn into a blank page full of opportunities and move on after more than 10 years at the same work.

And when it's the last week I must of course have really nice nails and it's still my birthday month and I have saved this polish for this.

The polish is KB Shimmer Ruby which is a part of the Birthstone collection that was released in January. Ruby is July's birthstone and also the polish that represents this month. A cherry red polish made by metallflakies. So easy to work with and covers in two quick-drying layers. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

I like red, I was born in July so this is almost like custom made for me. I think it's absolutely stunningly beautiful. You should see how it glitters in the sun. Unfortunately I have no more from this collection and will probably wont get more either right now since I soon will be unemployed and must cut down on polishbuying.
