Dollish Polish - It's a me Mario!

Dags för att vissa ännu ett lack från Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros. kollektionen. Den här gången föll valet på It's a me Mario av den enkla anledningen att det stämde så himla väl ihop med Essie Aruba Blue som redan satt på naglarna.

Mario består av rött och blått glitter i olika storlekar och prismatiska stjärnor. Småglittren följde med utan problem på penseln och spred ut sig bra, stjärnorna däremot dom fick man fiska efter i flaskan. Men så är det ju i princip alltid med lite större glitter kan jag känna. Dessutom så tycker jag att det blir snyggare med inta allt för många av stjärnorna, men några stycken förhöjer lacket.

Det här får mig osökt att tänka på Mario Party spelen som gått varma i det här huset. Där ska man ju samla stjärnor fast roligast är när man snor dom från någon annan spelare!

I alla fall så störtgillar jag det här lacket. Färgkombon är superfin och just över Aruba Blue så blev det en riktigt hit måste jag säga. Jag tog två lager av Mario och avslutade med Seche över det hela. Säga vad man vill om Seche, men till glitterlack är det suveränt för bättre glans kan man inte få med något annat topplack.

Bland oss bloggare verkar det finnas väldigt mycket kattälskare och jag har vid ett par tillfällen nämnt i kommentarer hos andra och även här att vi haft katter och att jag saknar dom väldigt mycket så idag tänkte jag att ni skulle få se hur våra små pälsbollar såg ut. Eller ser ut för Sten (den gråa) är fortfarande i livet och mår finfint. Sally däremot förstod inte att alla bilarna ute på vägen inte var snälla utan blev överkörd bara en vecka efter hon flyttat till sitt nya hem. Vi kunde tyvärr inte ha kvar dom då vi till slut insåg att det var dom som gjorde vår son sjuk hela tiden.

Time for another polish from Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros. collection. This time the choice fell on It's a me Mario! for the simple reason that it seemed to be working out well with Essie Aruba Blue that I already had on the nails.

Mario is composed of red and blue glitter in various sizes and prismatic stars. The smaller glitter was no problem applying the came up nicely on the brush and spread out well, the stars, however, you had to fish for in the bottle. But then it's almost always like that with those bigger glitters at least that is what I think. Anyway, I think it looks better when you don't have too many of the stars, but a few pieces enhances the polish.

This made me think of  the Mario Party games that has been played lots and lots of times in this house. You know in that you're suppose to collect stars, but the best part is when you steal them from other players! Yes, I am a mean one!

In all cases I really love this polish.  The color combo is super-fine and over Aruba Blue it became a real hit, I must say. I took two layers of Mario and finished with Seche over it. You can say what you want about Seche, but over glitter paint it's the best, you can't get that shine with any other topcoat.

Among us bloggers there also seems to be a lot of cat lovers and I have on a few occasions mentioned in comments on others blogs, and here as well that we had cats and that I miss them very much so today, I thought you'd get to see how our little fur balls looked . Or look for Sten (the gray one) is still alive and doing just fine. Sally however, did not understand that all the cars on the road was not kind but was run over just a week after she moved to her new home. I'm sad that we could not keep them, but we finally realized that it was them who made our son sick all the time.

Jaha, då var man tillbaka i Sverige igen efter en vecka i värme på Cypern. Det roliga är att jag tycker det är en jobbigare värme här än vad jag tyckte där. Kanske för att man låg och plaskade i poolen mest hela tiden och hade All Inclusive med allt vad det innebär!

Nu kanske ni tror att jag ska visa upp en hel hög med lack som jag köpt på resan, men då tror ni fel. Jag har inte köpt ett enda lack. Det enda jag tänkte köpt (Chanel Taboo) var slut på flygplatsen så då blev det inga alls. Jag hittade inga kul i butikerna och faktum är att dom jag hittade inte var speciellt billiga.

Men, innan jag åkte så damp det ner lite rolig lackpost i min låda. Bland annat valda delar av A-Englands Burne-Jones kollektion köpta från Edgy Polish

Sen har jag fått en del av lacken från Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros. kollektion från min gulliga vänner i Födelsedagsgruppen, ett har jag bytt mig till och resten tog jag och köpte medans dom ännu finns kvar i Dollish Polish butik. Inte för att jag tycker dom är supervackra, men Super Mario ligger mig lite varmt om hjärtat liksom.

Well, then, I'm back in Sweden again after a week in the heat in Cyprus. The funny thing is that I think it's a worse heat here than I did there. Maybe because I was laying splashing in the pool most of the time and had all inclusive with all that implies!

Now you may think that I should show up a whole bunch of polish that I bought on the trip, but then you are wrong. I have not bought a single bottle. The only thing I was thinking of buying (Chanel Taboo) was out of stock at the airport so I didn't buy anything else either. I found no fun in the shops and in fact, the ones I found were not particularly cheap.

But, before I went there was a couple of nice parcels that arrived in my mailbox.  Among other selected parts of the A-England Burne-Jones collection bought from Edgy Polish

Then I've got some of the paint from Dollish Polish Super Mario Bros.. collection from my cute friends in the birthday group, one I have got through a swap and then the rest arrived that I bought directly from Dollish Polish store while they are still available. Not that I think they are super pretty, but Super Mario has a special place in my heart.

Dollish Polish - Wicked Wario

Ett av lacken på min önskelista dök upp i ett av mina födelsedagspaket. Det fanns på min önskelista av den enkla anledningen att jag älskar namnet, för i ärlighetens namn så är kanske inte lacket det vackraste jag sett.

Det handlar om Dollish Polish Wicked Wario som släpptes i en Super Mario Bros. kollektion och snart har jag allihopa!

När jag väntade min äldste son var det en extremt varm sommar och på kvällarna orkade jag verkligen inte göra någonting utom att spela tv spel. Det som gällde då var 8-bits Nintendo och Super Mario varenda kväll. I det spelet finns inte min favoritfigur Wario med han uppfanns något senare. Sen kan man ju diskutera varför den tjocka, elaka lille figuren i gult och lila är min favorit och helt ärligt så har jag absolut ingen aning, men det har blivit så ändå.

Alltså ville jag bara ha det här lacket som består av en jellybas med massa microglitter i lila, vita fyrkantsglitter, runda guldglitter och gröna minihexagoner. Lacket är inte till för att användas på egen hand så jag valde att lägga det över syrenlila China Glaze Tart-y For The Party.

Som så ofta så var de större glittren lite knepiga att fiska upp ur flaskan vilket också är anledningen till att det är väldigt glest med dom vita fyrkanterna. Fast det gör mig faktiskt ingenting för att jag är inte helt övertygad om att dom tillför så mycket till lacket. Jag har svårt för att få riktigt bra bilder på den här typen av glitterlack, så jag måste påpeka att det ser bättre ut i verkligheten.

Jag har lagt två lager över Tart-y for the party. Torktiden var bra och dom små glittren var inget problem att sprida ut. Lite i tjockaste laget kanske.

Gillar jag det då? Ja, jag gör ju det. Lacket är kul och som sagt namnet gör att jag struntar i hur det ser ut. Det här ska man bara ha om man gillar Nintendo!

 

One of the polishes from my wishlist was in one of my birthdaygroup parcels. It was on my wish list for the simple reason that I love the name, because in all honesty, it is perhaps not the most beautiful polish I've seen.

It's Dollish Polish Wicked Wario that was released in a Super Mario Bros. collection and is also a collection that I will soon have all of.

When I was expecting my oldest son, it was an extremely hot summer and I was so tired in the evenings I couldn't do anything except to play video games. At that time it was the 8-bit Nintendo and Super Mario that I had and played every single evening. My favorite Mario charachter isn't in that first Super Mario game he was invented later and his name is Wario. Then one can discuss why the thick, nasty little figure in yellow and purple is my favorite and quite honestly, I have absolutely no idea, but it has become so anyway.

So I just wanted to have this polish consisting of a jellybas with micro glitter in purple, white square glitter, round gold glitter and green minihexagons. The polish is not supposed to be used on it's own so I chose to layer it over lilac China Glaze Tart-y For The Party.

As is so often the case, the bigger glitters was a bit tricky to fish up out of the bottle, which is also why it is very sparse with the white squares on my nails. Though that actually doesn't matter to me because I'm not entirely convinced that they add much to the polish. I find it hard to get really good pictures of this type of glitter polishes, so I must point out that it looks better in real life.

I added two layers of Wicked Wario over Tart-y for the party. Drying time was good and the small glitters was no problem to spread out. Maybe a bit thick in the formula.

Do I like it? Yes, I do. The polish is fun and as I said the name means that I do not care how it looks. This is a must have if you are a Nintendo fan!
