Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Geometric #2

Idag har sonen och jag varit och tränat och ikväll ska vi på Inlåst och sen ut och äta på en restaurang jag aldrig varit på förr och som har mycket Japansk mat. Ska bli spännande minsann.

Självklart har jag fixat till naglarna också och denna gång så det skulle passa till Nail Challenge Collaboratives geometriska tema och till holofredag hos Sminkan. Basen är Essie SKÅL! och jag har använt vinyler för att se till att få en pyramid på naglarna. Lacket jag använt mig av är Smitten Enchanted Forest.

Det här gillar jag! Enkelt, effektfullt och en nail art som går att variera med färger i all oändlighet.

Today, the son and I have been to the gym and tonight we will go to and try to get us out from an Escape Room challenge and also try a restaurant I have never been to before. They have a lot of Japanese food. Really looking forward to this.

And of course, I've done a little make over on my nails and this time a nail art that would fit Nail Challenge Collaborative's geometric theme and to the HoloFriday at Sminkan. The base is Essie SKÅL! and I have used vinyls to make sure to get a pyramid on the nails. The polish I used is Smitten Enchanted Forest.

I like this! Simple, effective and a nail art that can be varied in soo many ways with different colors.

Oj då, klockan blev visst mycket innan jag satte mig ner och skriva. Idag har jag ägnat mig åt städning av huset och nu ikväll hämtade jag sonen vid tåget.

Lacket jag valde att byta till tidigare idag är ett av de från Essies Midsummer kollektion och har det passande namnet SKÅL! Återigen ett sånt där lack där man antingen ska ta i ordentligt på första lagret eller väldigt tunt. Så alltså två tjockare eller tre tunna lager för att få det fint. Jag gillar ju att blaska på, så två lager och topplack är vad jag har på bilderna.

Den här färgen påminner mig starkt om något annat lack, men jag kan inte riktigt bestämma mig för vilket. Det kan möjligen vara Essies Navigate Her, men jag tror att det är lite gulare i tonen. I vilket fall som helst så tycker jag att det här är mycket snyggt. Jag gillar det skarpt och trivs utmärkt i den här nyansen.

It's pretty late in the evening when I write this. Time went very fast and I've been busy with cleaning the house earlier today. And tonight I went to pick up our oldest son at the trainstation. 

The polish I chose to replace yesterday's polish with is one from Essie's Midsummer collection and has the appropriate name SKÅL! or Cheers as it would be in English. Again, one of those polishes that you should either take a relly thick first layer or very thin. So, two thicker or three thin layers is what you need to make it look smooth. I like thicker ones so on the photos I have two layers and topcoat.

This color reminds me strongly of any other polish, but I can't really decide on which one. It may be Essie's Navigate Here, but I think that has a bit more yellow in the color. In any case, I think this is very nice. I like it sharply and enjoy this nuance a lot.

Can you help me with possible dupes?

Untried A-Z Challenge: N = Nevermind Dost Thou Comprehend?

Idag är det faktiskt min födelsedag! Inte för att jag firar så där värst mycket. Lite lunch vid dammen och en lugn och skön dag är precis vad jag ville ha. Ikväll blir det nog lite hämtning av Kina mat och en mysig kväll med mannen och sonen. Vi firar lite mer på fredag när äldste sonen också anslutit sig till hemmet.

Men fina naglar vill man ju ha i alla fall. Vi är framme på bokstaven N i Untried A-Z challenge och jag har plockat fram ett lack jag fick av en fin vän i julklapp. Lacket är från märket Nevermind och det är ett för mig helt nytt märke. Det består av massor med microglitter i olika gröna nyanser och prismatiskt glitter. Ganska tjock formula, men det gillar jag så för mig är det positivt. Jag tror man kanske kan använda det här som en one coater, men jag valde att lägga två lager. Topplack är att rekommendera då ytan blir lite matt och tråkig utan.

Det här lacket fick mig absolut att bli nyfiken på mer lack från Nevermind. Jättebra formula och vilket lack! Det är ju hur fint och glittrande som helst. Helt klart värt att bäras på en födelsedag.

Today, it's actually my birthday! Not because I will celebrate that very much. I had lunch at the pond and a quiet and nice day is just what I wanted. Tonight, we will probably pickup some Chinese food and have a cozy evening with my husband and son. We celebrate a little more on Friday when the eldest son also has joined the home.

But beautiful nails is a must on your birthday whether you are celebrating or not. We are on the letter N in Untried A-Z challenge and I have picked up a polish I received from a nice friend as a Christmas gift. The polish comes from Nevermind a brand that is new to me. It consists of lots of microglitters in different green shades and prismatic glitter. Pretty thick formula, but I like it so for me it's positive. I think you might use this as a one coater, but I chose to add two layers. Topcoat is recommended as the surface becomes a bit dull and boring without.

This polish made me curious about the brand Nevermind, and I wouldn't mind getting some more.  Great formula and what a polish! This is so nice and sparkling. Certainly worth being worn on a birthday.

OPI - Lisbon Wants Moor OPI

Håller på att rensa lite i lådorna i köket, finns mycket skräp där som inte ska följa med till nya köket i höst. Lugn dag med lite magont efter alltför mycket sötsaker i helgen, men ikväll bär det av till Travet i Tingsryd i alla fall.

Dagens lack är alldeles nymålat och kommer från OPI:s Lisbon kollektion. Det heter Lisbon Wants Moor OPI och är ett väldigt ljusrosa lack, men ändå mer åt det gammelrosa hållet tycker jag. Mycket bra formula och två enkla lager är vad jag har på naglarna + topplack förstås.

Ett perfekt lack till sommarbruna händer tycker jag. Riktigt fint är mitt omdöme.

I've been cleaning the drawers in my kitchen a bit. There is a lot of junk there that should not accompany us into the new kitchen this fall. Quiet day with a little stomach pain after too much sweets this weekend, but tonight we will go to Tingsryd to watch some trotting. 

Today's polish is fresh on the nails and comes from the OPI Lisbon Collection. It's called Lisbon Wants Moor OPI and is a very light pink creme, but still more to the dusty old fashioned pink hue I think. Very good formula and two easy layers are what I have on the nails + topcoat of course.

A perfect polish for summer-brown hands I think. Really nice is my thoughts of this.

Månadens tema i Nail Challenge Collaborative är Geometrisk, alltså olika mönster och vad jag förstår så är det riktigt modern nail art.

Själv så bestämde jag mig för att göra en väldigt enkel, men snygg manikyr med hjälp av Depend 7 Day Palm Tree Shake och Pink Lemonade och lite striping tape. Både lack och tape från Depend.

Det må vara en enkel manikyr, men faktiskt en av de som jag gillar allra bäst av det jag burit sista tiden. Älskar de starka färgerna och enkla mönstret.

This month's theme in the Nail Challenge Collaborative is Geometric, that is, different patterns and what I understand a really modern kind of nail art.

So, I decided to make a very simple but nice manicure using Depend 7 Day Palm Tree Shake and Pink Lemonade and a little striping tape. Both polishes and tape from Depend.

It might be a simple manicure, but actually one of those I like the very best of what I have worn lately. Love the bright colors and simple geometric pattern.
