OPI - GPS I Love You

Innan OPI släpper sin höstkollektion i mitten av Augusti passar jag på att visa ett lack ur sommarkollektionen. Ett lack vars namn jag verkligen kan relatera till GPS I Love You för jag älskar verkligen min GPS. Jag hittar ingenstans utan den!

Det här är ett knalligt rosa krämlack med riktigt bra egenskaper. Jag har två lager på bilderna, men ett kanske kan räcka. Torktiden var bra och på bilderna har jag topplack över.

Jag verkar ha hamnat i en rosa period när det gäller lack, för jag sträcker mig gärna efter de här nyanserna just nu. Det här gillade jag skarpt. Tänker lysa upp jobbet med det imorgon.

Before OPI releases its autumn collection in mid-August, I'm will show you a polish from their summer collection. A polish whose name I can really relate to,  GPS I Love You and I really love my GPS. I can't find any places without it!

This is a bright pink cream polish with really good qualities. I have two layers in the pictures, but one might be enough. The drying time was good and in the pictures I have topcoat over.

I seem to have gotten myself into a pink period when it comes to polishes, because I'm reaching out for these shades all the time right now. I really liked this and it certinaly will lighten up my job tomorrow.

Ny månad och nytt tema i Nail Challenge Collaborative. Denna gången är det blommor som gäller.

Jag passar på att visa en manikyr som också är en lite snabbrecension av en stämpelplatta som jag fått skickat till mig från Born Pretty Store. Numret på plattan är: BP-L045 och den består av massa fina spetsmönster, men just idag fick det ju bli det som hade lite rosor i sig. Jag gillar verkligen plattorna på BP, dom är bra etsade, finns med massor av fina mönster och till vettiga priser. Jag valde att lämna China Glaze Ahoy! på 3 av 5 naglar och målade vitt på de andra två som sen stämplades med Hit The Bottle Psycho Pink.

Jag är väldigt nöjd med manikyren och gillar mönstret riktigt mycket.

New month and new theme in Nail Challenge Collaborative. This time it's flowers. 

I'll show you a manicure on the theme that also is a quick review of a stampingplate that I received for review from Born Pretty Store. The number on the plate is: BP-L045 and it consists of lots of nice lace patterns, but today to make it wokr with our theme I chose the one with roses. I really like the plates from BP, they are well etched, come with lots of nice patterns and at reasonable prices. I chose to leave China Glaze Ahoy! on 3 of 5 nails and painted white on the other two that were later stamped with Hit The Bottle Psycho Pink.

I'm very pleased with the manicure and really like the pattern.

Reader's Choice - China Glaze Ahoy!

Dagen har ägnats åt att rama in massa foton till nästa veckas fotoutställning. Tog lite mer tid än vad jag trodde det skulle, men var riktigt roligt.

Denna gången är läsarnas val ett lack som jag ägt tidigare, men sålde. Jag läste mitt förra inlägg om lacket innan jag började skriva det här och då någon gång under 2012 kände jag mig inte riktigt hemma i den här färgen. Lacket det handlar om är China Glaze Ahoy! ett knalligt rosa med glasflecks i.

Om vi börjar med hur det är att jobba med så tycker jag att det är riktigt bra. China Glaze har ganska smala penslar, men dom är liksom lagom hårda att måla med så jag gillar dom. Två lager räcker för täckning och torktiden var riktigt bra. På bilderna har jag topplack över också.

Hur är det nu då sådär 5 år efter jag testade förra gången? För det första är det väldigt få färger som jag inte längre känner mig hemma i och det innefattar absolut den här typen av rosa. Jag gillar det här riktigt mycket och tycker absolut att det är en glad och fin sommarfärg. Eller en härlig färg att lysa upp hösten med eller värma sig lite med på vintern. Kort sagt jag har ändrat mig :)

This day has been devoted to framing lots of photos to next week's photo exhibition. Took some more time than I thought it would, but was really fun.

This time, readers' choice is a polish that I owned before, but sold. I read my last post on this polish before I started writing this and back then sometime in 2012 I didn't really feel at home in this color. The polish is China Glaze Ahoy! A bright pink with glasflecks in.

If we start with how it is to work with I think it's really good. China Glaze has quite narrow brushes, but they are not too soft so they are still really nice to paint with, so I like them. Two layers are enough for coverage and the drying time was really good. In the pictures I have topcoat over as well.

Well have I changed my mind since the last time 5 years ago? Firstly, there are very few colors that I don't feel at home in anymore and it definitely includes this kind of pink. I really like this and absolutely think it's a happy and nice summer color. Or a lovely color to light up the fall with or warm you up in the winter. In short, I certinaly have changed my mind :)

Bow Nail Polish - Treehouse

Så skönt med fredag! Helgen får nog ägnas åt att rama in foton som jag ska ha till en liten utställning nästa helg.

Idag är det ju också holofredag hos Sminkan och jag har plockat fram ett lack som jag fick i min adventskalender nämligen Bow Nail Polish Treehouse. Ett gulgrönt holo som inte har så väldigt tydliga regnbågar i sig. Det här var lite skirt så jag har tre lager på bilderna. Det var absolut inget fel på formulan, men jag är inte så förtjust i korkarna till de här lacken. Den rektangulära formen gör att det inte är helt smidigt att hålla i. På bilderna har jag topplack över.

Färgen är härlig, men jag hade nog gärna sett att den varit lite mer skarpt grön, men den är absolut fin som den är nu med.

So nice with friday! I think this weekend will be devoted to framing photos that I will participate with in a small exhibition next weekend.

Today, it's also holofriday at Sminkans and I've picked up a polish I received in my advent calendar, named Bow Nail Polish Treehouse. A yellow-green holo that doesn't have very clear rainbows in it. This was a little sheer so I have three layers on in the pictures. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the formula, but I'm not so fond of the cork on these polishes. The rectangular shape makes it uneasy to hold. In the pictures I have topcoat over.

The color is lovely, but I would have liked it to have been a bit more green, but it is absolutely fine as it is now.

Depend O2 - 519

När man läser numret på dagens lack kanske man tänker att jaha varför tänker hon visa ett lack som hon visade i söndags? Men så är inte alls fallet, för det här lacket kommer från Depends andra lacklinje Depend O2 och deras With Love From Cuba kollektion, men jag kan nog också tycka att det är lite smådumt att dom har samma nummer i de olika kollektionerna.

I alla fall så är det här ett härligt grönt skimmerlack vilket passar utmärkt idag när det är grön onsdag hos Karin. Lite skirt så jag har tre lager, men jag tror faktiskt att det sista var lite onödigt. Torktiden var bra och det var väldigt smidigt att jobba med. På bilderna har jag topplack över också.

Det här är så fantastiskt fint, mycket finare än vad man ser på bilderna vill jag lova. Inte en klassisk sommarfärg precis, men så himla fin till lite solbränd hud. Helt klart en höjdare.

When you read the number on today's polish, you might think why does she show the same polish as she did this Sunday? But that's not the case, because this polish comes from Depend's other polishline Depend O2 and their With Love From Cuba collection, but I do think that it's a bit annoying that they have the use the same number on completely different polishes even if it is from different lines.

In any case, this is a beautiful green shimmer that fits well for today's Green Wednesday at Karins. A little sheer so I have three layers, but I actually think that the last one was a bit unnecessary. The drying time was good and it was very easy to work with. In the pictures I have topcoat over as well.

This is so amazingly nice, much nicer than what I managed to capture on photo I promise you. Not a classic summer color,  but so nice to a little sunkissed skin. Obviously a keeper.
