ABC Challenge - T = Treasures By Tan Kinky

Jag skrev när jag dissade lacket till bokstaven S att jag hoppades på något bättre till bokstaven T och jo det här är absolut bättre, men fortfarande inte riktigt något som jag blev sådär över förtjust i.

Treasures By Tan Kinky är ett lite mörkare rosa holo. Jo, det är en fin färg, men inte tillräckligt skarp för att jag ska bli riktigt nöjd. Eller har jag gått och blivit kräsen. Det kan mycket väl vara så också.

Det är som sagt absolut inget fel på färgen, däremot var lacket lite väl skirt så fyra lager behövdes för att få det acceptabelt täckande. Torktiden var helt ok. Och över det här har jag ett lager med Digital Flash.

Det är som sagt inte så att jag inte tycker om det här alls för det gör jag, men det är inte ett lack som blev någon favorit. Tyvärr.

I wrote when I dissed the polish of the letter S that I was hoping for something better to the letter T, and yes this is definitely better, but still not really something that I was that fond of.

Treasures By Tan Kinky is a little darker pink holo. Well, it's a nice color, but not sharp enough for making me really happy. Or have I gone and become picky. It may well be that too.

Again, it is absolutely nothing wrong with the color, but the polish was sheer it took four layers to get it acceptable opaque. The drying time was quite ok. And over this I have a stock of Digital Flash.

Again, it's not that I don't like this at all because I do, but it's not a polish that became a favorite. Sorry.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: 3d Anniversary Recreation #1

Jag är ganska nybliven medlem i en grupp som kallas för The Nail Challenge Collaborative som firar sitt 3-års jubileum och för att fira detta bestämdes det att månadens tema skulle vara att återskapa fyra av medlemmarnas tidigare manikyrer. 

Himla kul utmaning, men väldigt svårt att välja vad man skulle göra, men här kommer i alla fall min första manikyr som är en återskapning av Manicurators manikyr från en månad då temat var stamping.  Originalet hittar ni här.

Hon hade Colors By Llarowe Gizmo som bas, men det lacket äger inte jag så jag klurade ut att A-England Fated Prince troligen skulle funka lika bra och körde på den. Däremot så hade hon använt Milani Black Swift för att få till mönstret och det lacket har jag så där är det samma. Mönstret kommer från Bundle Monster 313. 

Jag måste säga att jag verkligen gillar den här manikyren. Både originalet från Manicurator och min egen som blev väldigt likt.

I think this is a very fun challenge, but very difficult to choose what to do, but this is my first which is a recreation of Manicurators manicure from a month in which the theme was stamping. The original can be found here.

She had Colors By Llarowe Gizmo as the base, but I don't have that polish so I figured out that A-England Fated Prince probably would work just as well and used that. Victoria used Milani Black Swift to do the pattern and that is a polish that I do have so used the same. The pattern comes from Bundle Monster 313.

I must say I really like this manicure. Both the original from Manicurator and my own which became very similar.

ABC Challenge - S = Sinful Colors Bali Mist

Turen har kommit till bokstaven S och jag kan lugnt säga att lacket jag visar idag inte är en höjdare. Nä, det här är inte alls min typ av lack.

Det här är Sinful Colors Bali Mist. Ett lack som i flaskan ser ut att vara multichrome och det är det säkert, men det syns då rakt inte på naglarna. Jag tror att tanken är att det ska växla mellan rosa, lila och guld. Jag hittade lite guldiga skiftingar men inte mer än så. Och dom var inte starka.

Dessutom var det skirt. Jag har fyra lager och det är på gränsen till att vara tillräckligt faktiskt. Jag tror att det här hade vunnit på att läggas över svart för på det här viset blev det bara tråkigt. Fult faktiskt. Synliga penseldrag och bubblor blev det också. Nä, jag hoppas att lacket på bokstaven T blir bättre.

The time has come to the letter S and I can safely say that the polish I am showing today is not a great one. Nah, this is not my type of polish.

This is Sinful Colors Bali Mist. A polish that in the bottle looks to be multi chrome and I guess it is, but it's not visible when you have it on the nails. I think the idea is that it will toggle between pink, purple and gold. I found a little golden shifts, but no more than that. And they were not strong.

Furthermore it's sheer. I have four layers and it is on the verge of being enough actually. I think this had been better layered over black for in this way, it's just boring. I would even say ugly. It also has visible brushstrokes and bubbles. Nah, I hope the polish for the letter T is better than this.

A-England - Fated Prince

Det var länge sedan jag visade ett A-England lack här så det är väl absolut på tiden. Finns en hel del från deras nyare kollektioner som jag gärna skulle vilja ha, men har inte riktigt kommit mig för att köpa några.

Idag blir det i alla fall Fated Prince ett fantastiskt fint grått holo med klara stänk av grönt i sig. Som vanligt så tycker jag att det är suveränt att måla med. A-England är ju trots allt ett av mina favoritmärken. Täcker utan problem på två lager och torkar fort.

Jag har ett lager med topplack över också.

Det här är ett lack som jag tycker väldigt mycket om. Jag trivs verkligen i den här typen av grå ton.

 

It's been a long time since I showed an A-England polish so it's about time I think. There are a lot of polishes from their newer collections that I would like to have, but haven' bought yet.

Today anyway I will show you Fated Prince a fantastic gray holo with traces of green in it. As usual, I think it's great to paint with. A-England is after all one of my favorite brands. Covers effortlessly on two coats and dries quickly.

I have a layer of top coat over too.

This is a polish that I like very much. I feel really comfortable in this type of gray.

Darling Diva Polish - GTO

Igår var vi på Elmia Custom Motor Show hela dagen efter att ha bestämt det lite hastigt och lustigt på morgonen. Därav avsaknaden av inlägg igår.

Passande nog så bestämde jag mig för att fortsätta på motortemat och har idag lackat med Darling Diva Polish GTO ett av lacken ur Muscle Car kollektionen.

GTO är ett glitterlack med klar bas och sen packat med härligt gräsgrönt glitter i olika storlekar. Man kan lägga det här över något annat lack eller använda på egen hand. Bägge delar funkar lika bra. Jag har valt att visa det på egen hand.

Tre lager är vad som krävs. Torktiden är helt ok och glittret sprider ut sig utan problem på nageln. Däremot är det här som många andra lack lite topplacks slukare. På bilderna har jag ett lager av Digital Flash, men jag kommer nog lägga på ett till tror jag.

Vad ska jag säga om det här lacket mer än att det är suveränt. Nä, det finns inte så mycket att tillägga. Det är fin färg, härligt bling-bling och från ett av mina favorit Indiemärken.

Yesterday we were at the Elmia Custom Motor Show here in Sweden the whole day after a hast desicion in the morning. Hence the lack of posts yesterday.

To keep to motor theme running I decided to paint with Darling Diva Polish GTO one of the polishes from the Muscle Car collection.

GTO is a glitter polish with clear base and is then packed with beautiful grass green glitter in various sizes. You can put this over another polish or use it on it's own. Both parts work just as well. I have chosen to use it on it's own.

Three layers is what is required. The drying time is quite ok and the glitter spreads out without any problems on the nail. However, this is a glitterpolish and it does eat the topcoat. In the pictures, I have one layer of Digital Flash, but I will probably add one more.

What should I say about this polish more than that it is gorgeous. Nah, there's not much to add. It's a nice color, beautiful bling-bling and from one of my favorite Indie Brands.
