Depend 7 Day - 7142 Believe In Me

Något är lite skumt med det här lacket, mer än färgen alltså! På själva flaskan så står det 7142 Confidence, men i broschyren som är medskickad och på Depends hemsida så heter lacket 7142 Believe In Me så jag får väl anta att det är det korrekta namnet. Det här gäller även fler lack i höstkollektionen Celebrate Personality, kanske ska vara en kul grej helt enkelt.

Som vanligt så var det trevligt att lacka med och täcker på två lager. Torktiden är ok och på bilderna har jag topplack över.

Så var det då färgen. Har ni eller har haft småbarn? Anledningen till att jag frågar är nämligen att jag direkt tänker på bebisbajs när jag ser färgen. Och nej, det känns inte så positivt. Så tyvärr är det här inte alls en färg som jag gillar även om den är perfekt till hösten och förmodligen borde kallas för senap eller något sådant.

Something is a weird with this polish, more than the color! On the bottle itself it says 7142 Confidence, but in the brochure that is included and on Depend's website, it's called 7142 Believe In Me so I guess that's the correct name. This also applies to more polishes in the Celebrate Personality collection, maybe just a fun thing.

As usual, it was nice to work with and covers in two layers. The drying time is ok and in the pictures I have topcoat over.

Then it was this thing with the color. Do you have or have had a toddler? The reason I ask is that I'm thinking about the babys first poop right away when I see the color. And no, it doesn't feel so positive. So unfortunately this is not a color I like, even if it is perfect in the fall and probably should be called mustard or something.

Reader's Choice - KB Shimmer Carpe Denim

Haft en skön lördag och mest ägnat mig åt att swatcha och lyssna på ljudbok.

Dessutom sitter jag nu med ett ursnyggt lack på naglarna som ni valde åt mig förra läsarnas val. KB Shimmer Carpe Denim har en mörk jeansblå bas och massa silverglitter i den. Smidigt att måla med och glittret följer med utan någon som helst problem och sprider sig fint på nageln. Två lager räcker för täckning. Ytan blir nästan helt slät, men topplack gör att glittret kommer fram något mer tycker jag.

Den här typen av glitterlack är precis den typ jag gillar bäst och färgen på det här passar en jeanstjej som mig som handen i handsken. Det finns absolut ingenting som jag ogillar med det här lacket så ett stort tummen upp från mig för dagens lack.

Inser nu när jag sitter och skriver att det ser ut som tre jullack som ni får att rösta på till nästa gång, men julkollektionerna har faktiskt redan börjat trilla in så varför inte.

So far I have had a nice Saturday with some swatching and a lot of listening to my audiobook.

And I am now wearing a gorgeous polish on the nails that you chose as my readers' choice. KB Shimmer Carpe Denim has a dark jeans blue base and lots of silver glitters in it. Smooth to paint with  the and glitter spreads out on the nails very easily. Two layers are enough for coverage. The surface is almost completely smooth, but I think that topcoat makes the glitters shine through more and gives it a little more bling. 

This kind of glitter polish is just the kind I like best and the color of this fits a jeansgirl like so well. There is absolutely nothing I dislike with this polish, so a big thumbs up from me for today's reader's choice.

I realize now when I'm sitting writing this that it looks like three Christmas polishes that you'll have to vote for next time, but why not since Christmas collections already has started to show up.

CND Vinylux - Berry Boudoir

När jag häromdagen målade med OPI Suzi & The Arctic Fox blev jag lite lurad på färgen, men det är absolut inte fallet när det kommer till CND Vinylux Berry Boudoir från höstens NightSpell kollektion. Det här är ett mörkt rödlila jellylack som jag faktiskt tycker påminner en del om ett av mina favoritlack som är OPI Honk If You Love OPI.

Färgen på det här är ursnyggt och jag gillar den riktigt mycket, men varför kan jag inte lära mig att måla med jellys? Det blir ju så fantastiskt snyggt glansig yta med dom och ändå kan jag inte få till det riktigt. Detta gjorde att ett lack som jag egentligen tror ska räcka med två eller tre lager istället fick bli fyra i mitt fall. Allt för att få det att se jämnt och fint ut.

Hade jag inte haft lack som är väldigt lika det här så hade jag absolut tyckt att fyra lager hade varit värt mödan för färgen är verkligen en sådan som jag älskar att bära.

When I painted with OPI Suzi & The Arctic Fox the other day  I was a bit puzzled by the color, but it's definitely not the case when it comes to CND Vinylux Berry Boudoir from the autumn's NightSpell collection. This is a dark red-purple jelly that I actually think reminds me of one of my favorite polishes namely OPI Honk If You Love OPI.

The color of this is gorgeous and I like it very much, but why can't I learn to paint with jellys? The finish has such a wonderful glossy surface and yet I can't get it right. This meant that a polish that I really think you could paint with two or maybe three layers in my case had to be four to make it look even.

If I hadn't already had a polish very similar to this, I would definitely have thought that four layers was worth the effort because the color is really one that I love to wear.

Depend O2 - 5061 Galaxy Highway

Depend O2 har precis släppt en otroligt fin LE kollektion som heter Across the Universe bestående av 8 olika lack i lite foil och metallic finish alla inom den gröna och blåa färgskalan.

Det är ju faktiskt Karins gröna onsdag idag och till det passar många av lacken ur den kollektionen fantastiskt bra. Jag valde att börja visa 5061 Galaxy Highway som jag är helt övertygad hade räckt med ett lager av, men jag har två för att kolla om färgen djupnade något. Det kanske den gjorde, men väldigt marginellt. Jag har topplack över.

Det här är enhelt fantastiskt fin grön färg med en finish som jag skulle vilja säga ligger mitt emellan foil och metallic. Något som är bra för att lacket har inte minst tendens till att lämna ränder efter borsten i sig. Jag kan lova att mina bilder inte ens är i närheten av hur fint det här i verkligheten. Jag säger helt enkelt ut och leta upp de här lacken i butik för dom är väl värda att ha i sin samling.

Depend O2 has just released an incredibly nice LE collection called Across the Universe consisting of 8 different polishes in foil and metallic finishes all within the green and blue color scale.

In fact, it's Karin's green Wednesday today, and many of the polishes in that collection fits very well for that occasion. I chose to start displaying 5061 Galaxy Highway, which I'm completely convinced could be used as a one coater, but I have two to check if the color deepend something. Maybe it did, but very marginal. I have topcoat over.

This is a uniquely beautiful fine green color with a finish that I would like to say lies between foil and metallic. Something that is good because there are no visible brush strokes which it probably would have been with a straight up metallic polish. I can promise that my pictures are not even close to how fine this is in reality. I simply tell you go out and find this collection in a store because they are well worth having in your collection.
