Winter Nail Art Challenge - Christmas Candies

Idag är temat julgodis och jag har gjort en väldigt traditionell julgodis manikyr. Fast jag kan inte precis påstå att polkagrisar är så traditionellt när det gäller svenskt julgodis. Men jag gjorde ischocklad naglar förra året och det fick räcka.

Basen är Zoya Purity jag använde mig av Nail Vinyls och så Powder Perfect With My High Heels on för att lägga till det röda. En lite fastare röd hade nog inte skadat för det blev lite rinnigt, men helt ok ändå tycker jag.

Vad är ert favoritgodis till jul?

Today the theme is Christmas Candies and I have made a very traditional Christmas candie manicure. Though I can not exactly say that candy canes are very traditional when it comes to Swedish Christmas candies though. But I did ischocklad nails last year and I think one time is enough.

The base is Zoya Purity I used Nail Vinyls and Powder Perfect With My High Heels on to add the red. A little firmer red would probably been better because this had a tendensy to run a bit after I've taken the Nail Vinyls off. Well is still think this turned out quite ok.

Smitten Polish - Nose So Bright

Vi börjar veckan med en riktig goding. Lacket som fick pryda mina naglar på jobbets julfest i fredags. Smitten Polish Nose So Bright. Faktiskt det enda lack från någon julkollektion som jag köpt än så länge i år.

För det första är det här så förbaskat snyggt att ma egentligen inte behöver skriva så mycket. Dessutom är det suveränt att måla med. Täcker på två lager och torkar snabbt. Jag har Digital Flash över också.

Kan det bli bättre än julrött med holo i. Nä, jag tror faktiskt inte det!

Let's start this week with a beauty. The polish that got to decorate my nails on the job's Christmas party last Friday. Smitten Polish Nose So Bright. Actually the only polish from any Christmas collection that I bought so far this year.

Firstly, this is so damn neat that I really don't need to write so much. Moreover it's great to paint with. It covers in two layers and dries quickly. I have Digital Flash over too.

Can it get any better than Christmas red with holo in. Nah, I don' think so!

NailArt Sunday - Bokstäver (Letters)

Hann inte få ut något inlägg igår, la istället tiden på biomys med familj men idag är jag på banan igen.

Veckans tema i Lelacks NailArt Sunday är bokstäver. Min första tanke vara att göra Newpaper print, men jag är i år extremt julsugen så jag kom att tänka på julkort. Jo, för på julkort finns absolut bokstäver.

Mitt julkort är av det mer glittriga stuket med Celestial Finalé som bas, text stämplat från en MoYou Nails platta med nr 97 och Konads Specialfärg. Det finns lite guldiga snöflingor också som inte är supertydliga, men dom kommer från en platta som jag inte vet var den kommer ifrån det står AT09 på den. Guldlacket är från Depends Metallic kollektion nr 4044 som tydligen kallas Rock N Gold. Sist men inte minst är det små guldiga metallstjärnor som jag köpt på ebay vid något tillfälle.

Det här är alltså mitt julkort till er. Ha en härlig 2:a Advent mina vänner.

Didn't have time to post anything yesterday, instead I had a nice time with my family going to the movies and grabbed some food after. But today I'm back on track.

This week's theme in Lelacks Nailart Sunday's is letters. My first thought was to make Newspaper print, but I'm in an extremely Christmas mood so I came to think of Christmas cards. Well, on Christmas cards there are absolutely letters.

My Christmas card are of the more glitzy version with Celestial Finalé as base, text stamped from a MoYou Nails plate 97 and Konad Special color. There is little golden snowflakes also not super clear, but they come from a plate that I don't know where it comes from, it says AT09 on it. The Gold polish is from Depends Metallic Collection No. 4044 which apparently is called Rock N Gold. Last but not least is the small golden metal stars that I bought on ebay at some point.

So this is my Christmas card to you. Have a great second Advent my friends.

Zoya Ignite Summary

Då var det dags att sammanfatta den enda kollektionen som jag köpt i sin helhet av höstkollektionerna nämligen Zoya Ignite.

Jag måste säga att hela kollektionen är mycket lyckad, men jag har ändå försökt att rangordna de sex lacken med översta fotot även som nummer ett på min lista. Alla lacken var trevliga att arbeta med och torkade fort. Vissa täckte på två lager och en del behövde tre.

Then it was time to summarize the only collection that I bought in its entirety of the autumn collections namely Zoya Ignite.

I must say that the whole collection is very successful, but I have tried to rank the six polishes with the top photo as also number one on my list. All of them was nice to work with. Some of them took only two layers to cover and som three.

Winter Nail Art Challenge - Snow or Snowflakes

Dag två i Winter Nail Art Challenge ägnas åt Snö och snöflingor. Jag tror att det kan varit på Instagram som jag såg en manikyr gjord med dry brush teknik som jag var sugen på att testa. Och just till det här temat passade den utmärkt. 

Basen är Essie No More Film. Dry Brush går ut på att du doppar penslen ner i lacket och drar sen av nästan allting mot flaskkanten så borsten är nästan torr. Sen drar du den nästan torra penslen på utvalda ställen på din nagel för att få en penseldragseffekt helt enkelt. Enkelt och kul.

Nu var ju temat Snö och för att få det här mer till en snöstorm så plussade jag på lite prickar för att illustrera snöflingor. 

Jag tyckte det här blev en kul effekt och kommer absolut prova igen. 

Day two of the Winter Nail Art Challenge is devoted to Snow or snowflakes. I think it may have been on Instagram that I saw a manicure done with dry brush technique I was eager to try. And for this theme I thought it would work excellent.

The base is Essie No More Film. Dry Brush is simple explained that you dip the brush into the polish and then you drag almost all the polish of against the bottleneck so that the brush is almost dry. Then drag the almost dry brush at selected points on your nail to get a brush stroke effect. Easy and fun.

Now the theme is snow and to get this more into a blizzard I added some dots to illustrate snowflakes.

I thought this was a fun effect and will definitely try it again.
