Lite nytt!

Idag låg det ett trevligt paket från Nailmail i min låda innehållandes 3 stycken Glitter Gal lacker och häromdagen fick jag ett annat litet paket som jag köpt via ebay.

Jag får väl erkänna utan att skämmas det minsta att jag prioriterade knäck kokning framför nagellackande idag, därav det korta inlägget, men jag kan avslöja att jag efter knäcken tog mig tid att fixa till naglarna inför holofredagen.

Belgian Chocolate, Teal Blue och Watermelon och varför jag beställt Watermelon undrade jag lite när jag fick flaskan i hand. Den ser nästan lite pärlemor aktig ut. Nåja, vi får väl se kanske är bättre än vad man tror på. 

OPI DS Temptation, en annan flaska som jag lev minst sagt förvånad när jag plockade upp ur påsen. Jag var nämligen säker på att jag beställt DS Extravagance, vilket jag inte hade gjort. Man ska helt klart inte lägga beställningar på Ebay utan att kolla vad man håller på med. Men, den är ju också fin så det blir säkert bra. Sist men inte minst China Glaze Def Defying. 

Today I found a nice package from Nailmail in my box that contained three bottles of Glitter Gal polishes and the other day I got another little package that I bought through ebay.

I have to admit without shame that today I put my first priority on making Christmas Candys and second doing my nails. That's the reason for the short post today. But I can reveal that finishing making the candy I did fix my nails so I can participate in Holo Friday!

The Nailmail parcel contained Glitter Gal Belgian Choclate, Teal blue and Watermelon. I really don't understand what I was thinking of when I ordered Watermelon in the bottle it looks like it has a pearl finish. But you never know it might look great on the nails. 

I also got a bit surprised when I opened my Ebay package. I was convinced that I had bought DS Extravagance but no, the seller had send me the right polish. Maybe this will be a lesson to me not to make spontaneous purchases on Ebay without thinking it through before commiting to buying. Anyway Temptation looks nice to.

En till gradient!

I söndags så visade jag en gradient i guld och svart. Jag blev ju så himla nöjd med den att jag tog och gjorde mig en ny.

Också denna gången har jag ett Zoya lack som grund nämligen Logan och till själva gradienten använde jag mig av Ziv. Färgerna passa superbra ihop med tanke på att det är ganska mycket guld även i den gröna Logan.

Återigen en gradient som jag har svampat på och resultat blev mycket lyckat. Så bra att det var lite svårt att ta bilder för färgerna flyter faktiskt ihop väldigt bra, även i verkligheten.

Kommer jag att göra ännu mer gradients. Jajamen, det här är ju superkul och jag förstår inte varför jag inte gjort mera tidigare.

Last Sunday I showed you a gradient in gold and black. I was so amazingly happy with it that I made me another one.

Also this time I have a Zoya polish as a base, that is Logan and to the gradient I used Ziv. The colors fit together super considering that it is pretty much gold even in the green Logan.

Again a gradient that I have used a sponge to do. And the results were very successful. So good that it was a bit hard to take pictures of it because the colors actually flows together very well, even in real life.

Will I do even more gradients. Oh yes, this is super fun and I don't understand why I haven't done more before.

Zoya Ornate sammanfattning!

När jag visade Zoya Storm konstaterade jag ju samtidigt att jag har alla utom ett lack ur den här kollektionen som kallas för Ornate och är årets julkollektion från Zoya. Det är inte speciellt ofta jag faktiskt har så många ur en och samma kollektion så därför tänker jag nu ge er en sammanfattning över hur jag rangordnar lacken.

Jag tyckte det här var jättesvårt! Jag gillar verkligen allihopa, men jag tror att det är så här jag tycker:

Överst på listan hamnar Blaze

  Sen var jag fundersam  på om Logan eller Aurora skulle hamna på andra plats, men Logan vinner mer och mer. När jag skriver det här inlägget sitter just Logan på med en trevlig gradient och det är bara så fint. Så det får bli min andra placering.

 Aurora trivdes jag så himla bra i när det satt på naglarna och det är min tredje placering.

 Nu är ni kanske förvånade över att Storm hamnade så pass långt ner, men det beror nog enbart på att allihopa egentligen skulle ligga etta eller för att jag tycker att Storm är fantastiskt men dom andra har mer lyster i sig än detta vilket jag föll för.

Och så underst i listan har vi då Ziv. Nu är det ju ändå så att Ziv gjorde mig väldigt positivt överraskad genom att vara ett guldlack som jag verkligen trivdes i. Dessutom är det här en perfekt färg till olika nailart.

Nå? Vad är ert omdöme, håller ni med eller hade ni placerat lacken helt olika?

When I showed you Zoya Storm, I observed at the same time that I have all but one polish from this collection called Ornate that is this year's Christmas collection from Zoya. It's not very often I actually have so many from the same collection so therefore I will now give you a summary of how I rank the polishes from Ornate.

I thought this was really hard! I really like them all, but I think this is how I feel:

1. Blaze, love the color and the holographic effect.

2. Logan, what can I say this color keeps getting better and better the more you wear it. 

3. Aurora beautiful color and again a holographic  polish

4. Storm, you might have thought than this would be higher up in the list, but I do think that the others were more sparkly and fun. But I love this one too!

5. Ziv, this is a polish that surprised me a lot. A gold polish that I actually enjoyed wearing. This is the first and I will certinaly wear it again.

Do you agree on my ranking of the polishes of Ornate Collection or would you have placed them differently?

Nailart Sunday - Black and Gold Gradient

Sent inlägg idag som beror på att jag tillbringat helgen på sjukhus med sonen. Han mår nu ganska bra, men som ni förstår har jag inte hunnit förbereda några inlägg för veckan. Alltså kommer det inte att vara inlägg varje dag den här veckan för det kommer jag inte hinna med. Det var nämligen någon som sa att det snart var jul också och att man ska hinna förbereda för den!

I alla fall så kommer nu här till slut den där manikyren som jag bar förra söndagen när jag var på julfest med käre makens företag.

Jag är så himla nöjd med hur den här gradienten blev. I botten har jag ju då Zoya Ziv och över det har jag svampat en gradient i svart med A-England Bridal Veil. Och över alltihopa är det ett lager av A-England The Shield.

Som sagt det här med gradients är kul och det finns så oändligt många variationer, så det kommer ni absolut att få se mer av här hos mig.

Late post today because I spent the weekend at the hospital with my ​​son. He's now quite ok, but as you can understand, I have not had time to prepare any posts for the upcoming week. So there will probably not be posts every day this week I will not have time for that. Because someone said that soon it's Christmas and you are supposed to prepare for it!

Anyway, now I will finally show you the manicure that I wore last Sunday when I was at the Christmas party with my dear husband's company.

I am so pleased with how this gradient turned out. As a base I have  Zoya Ziv and over that I made a gradient in black with using a sponge and A-England Bridal Veil. And then a layer of A-England The Shield to finish the manicure.

I've started to think that doing gradients has become more and more fun and you will definitly see more of it at my blog.

Silverprickar!

Idag borde jag ha visat er en manikyr med julgranar på, men så kreativ har jag inte orkat att vara. Anledningen till att jag borde gjort det är för att jag och mannen ska införskaffa årets gran idag. Normalt sett brukar jag skicka ut honom i skogen för att hugga en, men han var inte alls sugen på det med all snön ivägen! Senare blir det familjemys på bion. Dags för Hobbit.

Och nej, ni får inte se vad jag gjorde med Ziv idag heller, det sparar jag till Nailart Sunday. Så istället blev det en liten julprickig manikyr som visas idag.

A-England Perceval visade jag i början av veckan och när jag hade det på blev jag rysligt sugen på att göra lite prickar. Och det här blir ju lite gran relaterat i alla fall, för i min gran ska det vara rött och silver, så över Perceval har jag gjort prickar av Depend 223 ett mycket bra silverlack. Över det har jag sen A-England The shield.

Today I should have shown you a manicure with Christmas trees, but I have had other things to do so it wont be a post that creative.  The reason that I should have done a Christmas Tree is because today me and my man will go and get us this year's tree. Normally, I usually send him out into the forest to chop one, but he was not at all keen on it with all the snow in the way! Later all of us will go to the movies to se the Hobbit.

And no, you can not see what I did with Ziv today either, I've been saving it for Nailart Sunday. So instead, it became a Christmas dotted manicure.

I showed you A-England Perceval, in the beginning of the week and when I had it on, I was awfully tempted to do some dots. And this is a little tree-related anyway, because my Christmas tree will be decorated in red and silver. Over Perceval I made dots of Depend 223 a very good silver polish. And over this I have a layer of A-England  The shield.
