Zoya Logan

Dags att visa det första av lacken från Zoya Ornate dvs deras julkollektion.

Logan är ett mörkgrönt foil lack som är fullt med guldskimmer. Ett riktigt härligt julgrönt lack med otrolig lyster i sig.

Jag har förresten på allvar funderat på att döpa om den här bloggen till Three Layers of Polish! För precis som vanligt tänker jag visa er ett lack som jag har använt mig av tre lager av för att få opakt.

Torktiden har jag inget speciellt att säga om. Formulan är formidabel och precis som vanligt älskar jag penslen och appliceringen av Zoya lacket.

Vad mer kan man säga? Jo, från början var Logan ett av lacken som jag inte tänkt köpa från den här samlingen. Men med tanke på att jag tycker mer och mer om gröna lack var det ju en väldigt tur att jag ändrade mig. Suveränt vackert tycker jag att det här är! Nä, jag har absolut inget negativt alls att säga om det här.

Jo, förresten. Det satt bara kvar i drygt en timme innan jag kunde plocka bort stora flagor av det. Men, jag säger som herdarna vid jul. Bliven icke förskräckta ty detta voro meningen! Jag testade Cactus metod att få lacken att sitta dåligt. Var bara tvungen att testa!  Smörjde naglarna med Lemony Flutter och sen ett lager av Seche över detta istället för vanliga baslacket. Jag kan garantera att det här funkade.

Time to show the first of the polishes from Zoya Ornate  their Christmas collection.

Logan is a dark green foil that is full of gold shimmer. A really lovely Christmasgreen paint with incredible luster itself.

Anyhow, I have seriously thought about renaming this blog to Three Layers of Polish! Because as you can guess I have used three layers to get this polish opaque.

Drying time, I have nothing special to say about. The formula is formidable, and as usual, I love the brush  and the application of Zoya polish.

What more can you say? Well, from the start, Logan was one of the polishes that I had not thought to buy from this collection. But given that I have become more and more in to green polishes, it was very lucky that I changed my mind. Supremely beautiful, I think this is! Nah, I have absolutely nothing negative at all to say about this.

Oh, by the way. It just sat there for over an hour before I could remove large flakes of it. But, don't be alarmed! It was supposed to do so! I tested Cactus method to get the paint to sit badly. Just had to try it! Smeared the nails with Lemony Flutter and then a layer of Seche over this instead of the usual basecoat. I can guarantee that this worked. The method is supposed to be supreme when you use glitterpolishes so I will try again!

Nailart Sunday - Tema Pojkvän/Partner

Om ni inte redan varit och kollat hos Lelack som är våran moder till Nailart Sunday så gör det. Älskar verkligen hennes inlägg idag!

Temat den här söndagen är alltså Pojkvän/Partner eller som i mitt fall sen 5 år tillbaka make. För mig blev valet enkelt. Låt gubben min bestämma färg och vad jag ursprungligen tänkt mönster. Nu visade det sig att min man sa att jag skulle ha grönt med glitter. Så enkelt fick han inte komma undan. Han fick välja vilket grönt lack det skulle vara som grund också. Helt klart är det så att dom knalligare färgerna alltid går hem lite mer än mesiga diskreta. Detta märks också i hans val av lack.

Valet föll på China Glaze I'm with the lifeguard. En av mina favoriter från i somras. Så till glittret då. Funderade på en jellysandwich först, men nej gradient skulle det vara enligt J. Det enkla hade varit att ta silverglitter, men det kändes för mesigt så det fick bli Models Own Mixed Up som fick glittra till det hela i en typ av gradient.

Jag tycker det här blev en kul manikyr som tyvärr inte riktigt görs rättvisa på fotona. Den är mycket finare i verkligheten. 

Time for Lelack's Nailart Sunday again!

The theme this Sunday is Boyfriend / Partner or as in my case since 5 years back husband. For me the choice was easy. Let the old man decide the color and what I originally thought patterns. Now it turned out that my husband said I should have a green with glitter. Well, he didn't get away that simple. He got to choose which green polish that would be also. Clearly he likes the more bright and fun colors more than discrete and pale ones. This is also evident in his choice of polish.

He chose China Glaze I'm with the lifeguard. One of my favorites from this summer. At first I thought of doing some sort of glittersandwich, but no it should be a gradient according to J. It would have been easy to take the silver glitter, but it felt too wimpy, so instead I took Models Own Mixed Up and used it as a kind of gradient.

I think this is a fun manicure that unfortunately not really done justice in the photos. It is much nicer in reality.

Jessica Pumpkin Delight

Det här lacket visste jag att jag absolut ville ha efter att ha sett det hos Pamsan.

Och jösses vad fint det är! Rödorangebrunt foilglitter, äsch ni förstår när ni ser bilderna. Hoppas jag för det här är så glittrigt, vackert och har så många dimensioner i sig att det var svårt att fånga på bild.

Jessica är också ett nytt märke för mig. Väldigt trevlig formula, fast jag tycker att borsten var i mjukaste laget. Torktid helt ok. Lacket är lite skirt. Jag har tre lager på, men det hade faktiskt inte skadat med en fjärde.

Jag är verkligen kär i det här lacket. Kan mycket väl tänka mig att använda detta på julfester fastän det är ett Halloweenlack :)

This polish I knew I definitely wanted after seeing it at Pamsans blog.

And gee what good it is! Redorangebrowne foilglitter, oh you will understand when you see the pictures. I hope for this is so sparkly, beautiful and has so many dimensions that it was difficult to photograph.

Jessica is also a new brand for me. Very nice formula, though I think that the brush was a bit on the soft side. Drying ok. The polish is a bit sheer. I have three layers on, but it had not actually had hurt with a fourth.

I'm really in love with this polish. May well imagine myself using this on Christmas parties, although it is a Halloween Paint :)

Holofredag med Cahtrine Arley 667

Cahtrine Arley är ett nytt märke för mig. Alltså man har ju sett det på bloggarna runt om, men jag har inte provat något innan det här som tråkigt nog bara heter 667.

Tråkigt med det är också att det är himla skirt. Jag började måla utan något under först, men gav upp. Istället la jag på ett lager av Zoya Minka och sen fick jag ändå ta tre lager av 667 för att det skulle täcka ordentligt. Lite tråkigt kan tyckas.

I alla fall så tycker jag det här är en härlig färg. Jag är inte så mycket för silvriga holos, men det här är mer blyertsgrått. Inte en helt vanlig holofärg kanske. Inte supertydliga regnbågar, men väldigt fina i alla fall. Ett lager Seche över fullbordar manikyren.

Cahtrine Arley is a new brand for me. Well I've seen it on blogs around, but I have not tried myself before. The sad thing is that it dosen't have a name just a number and it is 667

Another sad thing about it is that it is amazingly delicate. I started painting without anything else than basecoat under at first, but gave up. Instead, I put on a layer of Zoya Minka but still had to use three layers of 667 for it to cover properly. A bit boring I think.

In any case, I think this is a lovely color. I'm not so much for silver holos, but this is more graphite gray. Not just an ordinary holocolor maybe. Not super clear rainbows, but very nice all the same. A layer of Seche completed the manicure.

November 8 for No H8 med Depend 313

Jag fick syn på Llarowes facebook sida att just idag den 8:e november uppmanas vi att visa lila lack för att visa vårt avståndstagande till viss mobbning som förekommit sista tiden inom lackbloggarna.

Innan jag fortsätter detta vill jag starkt poängtera att jag inte sett något av detta bland mina svenska medbloggare.

Det som har hänt är att vissa har gått ut med att dom ogillar bloggar där man lagt upp foton där man inte har perfekta manikyrer eller nagelband. Jag blir så heligt förbannad på sånt här trams så jag bestämde mig direkt för att ändra min bloggplaner och istället lägga upp en helt oredigerad och ostädad manikyr med ett lila lack för att klarlägga min synpunkt i det hela!

Jag struntar fullständigt i om manikyren eller fotona är perfekta. Jag vill läsa roliga texter och se hur lacken ser ut när dom sitter på naglarna. Vem av oss har inte kladdat utanför eller har lite taskiga nagleband? Ska man inte få ägna sig åt det roligaste man vet på grund av det? Nej, sånt skitsnack vill jag hålla mig utanför.

En av anledningarna till att jag bloggar är att jag älskar stämningen som är mellan oss lacknördar. Jag vill i och med detta inlägget säga: JAG ÄLSKAR ER ALLIHOPA NI ÄR UNDERBARA MÄNNISKOR SOM DELAR EN PASSION FÖR LACK MED MIG! FORTSÄTT MED DET OCH VAR STOLTA ÖVER ERA NAGLAR, FOTON OCH BLOGGAR!

Den här manifestationen har inte startas av Llarowe själva, men dom kommer den 8-9 November skänka en summa pengar till en organisation som motarbetar mobbing för varje lila lack dom säljer. Så har ni tänkt att köpa lila lack därifrån gör det nu!

Det finns en hemsida och en organisation som heter Eridicate hate in the nail polish blogger community som dragit igång det här.  Dom vill att man lägger in följande text i dagens inlägg:

Most of us are, thankfully, residents of countries that support tolerance and many of our families have settled in these places simply for that reason. Generations later, it is our responsibility to perpetuate that message of tolerance across our new social platforms, including the internet.

As members of the nail polish blogging community, we all share a love of beauty, color, and lacquer. Other than that, we are remarkably different: from our race to our religion to our hair color...even to our polish application techniques. To marginalize anyone because of those differences is completely unacceptable and today I take a stand against that. I refuse to allow other people's view of "normal" dictate how I behave, believe, and blog.

In solidarity with a multitude of bloggers linked below, my purple manicure represents my proud commitment to the No H8 movement. Today, November 8, I dedicate my post to ending bullying of any kind and to encouraging diversity and imperfection among our colorful community.

 Men nu över till dagens lack! Depend 313 är ett helt underbart lila lack med massa turkos glitter i. Lätt att applicera, men lite skirt. 

Gissa hur många lager jag har? Jajamen, visst är det tre! Torkar ganska snabbt. Jag gillar Depends penslar och det här lacket som kom med deras sommarkollektion är verkligen ett fynd!

I saw Llarowes Facebook page that just today, November 8th we are asked to show purple paint to show our rejection to some bullying that occurred recently in the polish blogger community.

Before I continue I would like to strongly emphasize that I have not seen any of that from any Swedish Nailblog.

What has happened is that some have gone out with that they do not like blogs where you uploaded photos where you do not have perfect manicures or cuticles. I get so pissed off at things like this nonsense so I decided immediately to change my blog plans and instead put up a completely unedited and untidy manicure with a purple polish to clarify my point of it all!

I could not care less about if manicure or photos are perfect. I want to read funny lyrics and see how the paint looks when they sit on the nails. Who among us has not scribbled out or have little dodgy cuticles? Should we not get indulge in the most fun you know because of that? No way I will lower my self to that kind of bullshit!

One of the reasons that I blog is that I love the atmosphere that is between us polish nerds. I want, with this post say: I LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU! YOU ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO SHARE A PASSION FOR POLISH WITH ME! CONTINUE WITH THAT AND BE PROUD OF YOUR NAILS, PHOTOS AND BLOGS!

This rally has not started by Llarowe themselves, but they will on 8-9 November donate a sum of money to an organization that opposes bullying from each purple paint they sell. Have you planned to buy purple polish from there do it now!

 Now on to todays polish! Depend 313 is a wonderful purple polish with lots and lots of turqoise glitter in it. 
It was released with Depends summercollection this year and I'm so happy to be the owner of one. 

I think this is beautiful and it's easy to apply. I like Depends brushes a lot. The drying time is ok also.
