China Glaze - Skate Night

En av de bästa kollektionerna China Glaze någonsin gjort är Retro Diva från 2009. Den innehåller klassiker som Stella, Short & Sassy, Stroll, Thunderbird och så den jag tänkte visa er idag Skate Night.

Skate Night är ett mörkt magentafärgat skimmerlack, nästan lite svärtat, som jag tror egentligen är rätt trevligt att lacka med, men mitt hade tjocknat lite, men efter lite thinner så blev det hur bra som helst. Det täcker på två lager och torkar fort. Alltså China Glaze när det är som allra bäst. Snyggt, lättmålat och snabbtorkat. Lacket i sig är rätt glansigt, men jag har ett lager med Insta-Dri på bilderna.

Det här är dessutom en färg som jag tycker är riktigt snygg. En klassisk färg som jag i alla fall känner mig snygg i.

One of the best collections China Glaze has ever made is Retro Diva from 2009. It has classic polishes as Stella, Short & Sassy, Stroll, Thunderbird and the one I will show you today in it. This is Skate Night. 

Skate Night is a dark magenta colored shimmer, almost a bit blackened,  that I belive is usually a very nice polish to work with but mine had gotten a bit thick. After som thinner it was smooth to work with again. Two layers is enough for coverage and it dries fast. So this is China Glaze at it's best. Good looking color, easy to paint with and fast drying. Could it get any better? The polish is glossy but on the pictures I have a layer of Insta-Dri over it. 

This is also a color that I feel is so nice. A classic color that I somehow feel pretty in. I think it makes me more feminin in a way.

L.A Girl - Lazer Beam

Ännu ett lack med fantastiska egenskaper från L.A Girl denna gången ett ur Brites serien som heter Lazer Beam.

Färgen ser på mina bilder mer rosaaktig ut än vad jag upplever den i verkligheten. Mer åt Fuchsia hållet skulle jag nog vilja säga. En kul och glad färg är mitt omdöme.

Som vanligt så var det bra formula på lacket. Lättmålat och torkade fort och bra och lite så där semimatt. Så en äkta neon är det inte, men vad gör väl det för det lyser upp bra ändå. Jag har två lager på och tycker nog att det räcker även om jag ser på vissa bilder att det antyder en viss VNL. Inget som jag dock upplever när jag tittar på naglarna.

På bilderna är det inget topplack på och anledningen till det kommer ni få se en annan dag!

Jag fortsätter även med extrabilder på temat djur som jag ägt. Vi har ju som ni vet Undulater och allting startade med en liten vacker gulmaskad blå hona som hette Snubban. Ja, vi trodde det var en hane först och då hette den Snubben! Gulmaskad betyder att hon var gul uppe på huvudet där de flesta blåa Undulater annars är vita. Hon var så underbart tam och rolig denna fågel. Tyvärr så fick hon problem med äggledarna och fick en knöl som gjorde att hon fick problem med flygningen och till slut efter många veterinärbesök gick det inte att rädda henne. Saknar vår lilla bitska dam väldigt mycket! Bilderna visar det hon gillade göra mest. Sitta med oss när vi åt frukost och sno yngste grabbens flingor. Och bada i mitt vattenglas!

Another lacquer with great qualities from LA Girl this time from the Brites series called Lazer Beam.

The color looks more pinkish that what I experience it in reality on the pictures. More about Fuchsia way, I would probably say. A fun and happy color in my opinion.

As usual, it was good formula on the polish. Easy to apply and dried fast, and a little like semi-matte. It's not a true neon, but who cares for it lit up fine though. I have two coats on and think that it is enough even if I see that it looks on some of the images that there is little bit of VNL. Nothing, however, I think shows in reality when I look at my nails.

In the pictures there is no topcoat on and the reason for it, you will get to see another day!

Today I also continues with some extra material with  images on the theme of animals that I have owned. We have as you know budgies and it all started with a pretty little yellow face blue female named Snubban.  Yellow face means that she was yellow on top of the head where most blue budgies else is white. She was so wonderful, funny and really tame this bird. Unfortunately, she had problems with the fallopian tubes and got a lump that meant that she had problems in the end to fly and finally after many visits to the vet we could not save her. I still miss our little fierce lady very much! The pictures show what she loved doing most. Sit with us as we ate breakfast and steal the youngest kid's cereal. And swim in my water glass!

Pink Thursday - Picture Polish Mad Magenta

Det här är nog något av ett rekord! Jag visar rosatonade lack två veckor i rad! Och detta gör ju då också att jag är med på Emmas rosa torsdag.

Picture Polish Mad Magenta är ett lack som jag fick i en Scratch N' Dent mystery bag från Llarowe. Tyvärr hade flaskan läckt en del så jag fick göra lite detektivarbete innan jag kunde komma på vilket lack det var.

Lacket var smidigt att lacka på torkade fort, men tre lager fick jag ta för täckning. Färgen är ju riktigt häftig nästan lite neonaktig faktiskt. Vill du ha lite uppmärksamhet funkar säkert det här bra att ha på nagalarna. Ett lager av Poshé har jag över.

Sen kanske man kan argumentera över om magenta är mer rosa eller om man ska räkna det till lila, men just idag tycker jag rosa.

This is probably something of a record! I show pink tinted polishes two weeks in a row! And this makes me able to attend Emma's Pink Thursday.

Picture Polish Mad Magenta is a polish that I got in a Scratch N 'Dent mystery bag from Llarowe. Unfortunately, the bottle had leaked so I had to do a little detective work before I could figur out what polihs this was since the label was ruined.

The polish was easy to apply, dried quickly, but three layers was needed for coverage. The color's really cool almost neon-like indeed. If you want some attention this surely works well to have on your nails. I have a layer of Poshé on top.

Then maybe you can argue over whether magenta is more pink or whether to count it to purple, but right now I think pink.

Nfu Oh 51

I förrgår visade jag er det härliga China Glaze Under the boardwalk, men som vanligt har jag svårt att bara låta ett lack vara ifred utan vill gärna "fixa" lite.

Den här gången föll valet på att pimpa lacket med Nfu Oh:s nr 51. Ett flake lack med en lilaaktig bas fylld med massa olikfärgade flakes. Jag har lagt ett lager över UTB och sedan ett lager med Poshé över. Effekten är i mitt tycke riktigt snygg.

Det var lättlackat, man behövde inte jobba för att få med sig tillräckligt med flakes eller att få dom att sprida ut sig på nageln. Torktiden var helt acceptabel och om man jämför med Kleancolors flakies så är den helt underbar!

Att det är olika färger på flakesen framkommer inte så tydligt i kombination med det här lacket, men jag tycker ändå att resultatet blev kanonbra.

Two days ago I showed you the wonderful China Glaze Under the boardwalk, but as usual I find it hard to just let a paint to be left alon whitout "fix" it a bit.

This time I choose to pimp the polish with Nfu Oh's No 51. A flake polish with a purplish base filled with a bunch of different colored flakes. I have added one layer over UTB and then a layer of Poshé over. The effect is, in my opinion really nice.

It was easy to work with, the flakes spread out whitout a problem on the nail. The drying time was quite acceptable and when compared to Kleancolors flakies it is quite great!

That there are different colors on the flakes emerges not as clear in combination with this polish, but I still think the result was great.

China Glaze Under the boardwalk

Ännu ett av Summer Neons lacken som gör mig riktigt glad och nöjd.

Under the boardwalk är ett magenta färgat lack, det torkar inte halvmatt så neon är det kanske inte till 100% snarare creme, men ack så fint! Formulan var lite tunn, men jag tyckte ändå inte att den var allt för knepig att måla med. Lite sämre täckning än med dom som är "riktiga" neoner. Tre lager la jag på. Jag valde att inte lägga något topplack på när jag tog bilderna för att ni skulle få se hur den ser ut som den är. Torktiden var för övrigt normal.

Återigen så blir jag fundersam över vad det är som gör att jag gillar det här så skarpt men har dissat både Ahoy och Kimber som är starka rosa lack? Jag vet ärligt talat inte vad det är som gör skillnaden, kan det vara det lilla extra färgstänket som gör att det här inte alls är rosa utan magenta vilket egentligen kan tyckas ganska lika.

Titta väldigt gärna in till mig imorgon igen för då väntar en liten överraskning ;)

Another one of the China Glaze Summer Neons that makes me really happy and satisfied.

Under the boardwalk is a magenta colored polish,  it will not dry matte so it may not be 100%, neon more like a creme,  but oh so nice! The formula was a bit thin, but I still don't think it was too tricky to paint with. A little less coverage than with those who are "real" neons. I have three layers on. I chose not to put any top coat on when I took the pictures because I wanted you to see how it looks on it's own. The drying time was also normal.

Again, I am puzzled about what that makes me like this so sharply but not China Glaze Ahoy or Zoya Kimber who are strong pink polish? I honestly do not know what it is that makes the difference, it may be that little extra color in this that makes it magenta in stead of pink.
