My Top Polishes 2019 Part 1.

I 8 år har jag nu gjort en sammanfattning på mina favoritlack som använts och visats här på bloggen, något som i alla fall jag tycker har blivit en kul tradition. Precis som föregående år har jag valt att göra två eller faktiskt tre olika listor. En för mina favoritfärger, en för finishar och en för nail art.

Traditioner är viktiga för mig så därför gör jag som vanligt och börjar med mina favoriter i olika färgkategorier. Och precis som vanligt så är det alltså inte bara lack som släppts 2019 som jag väljer bland utan alla som jag visat på bloggen oavsett releasedatum.

Då kör vi, kommentera gärna om något av lacken också är med på din favoritlista eller om du känner att något saknas i din samling.

For 8 years now I have made a summary of my favorite polishes used and shown here on the blog, which at least I think has become a fun tradition. Just like recent years, I have chosen to make two or actually three different lists. One for my favorite colors, one for finishes and one for nail art.

Traditions are important to me so that's why I as usual and start with my favorites in different color categories. And just as usual, it is not only the polishes that was released in 2019 that I choose from, but everyone that I have shown on the blog regardless of the release date.

Essie - Teacup Half Full

Vill börja med att önska er alla ett riktigt Gott Nytt År! Vi spenderade nyårsafton här hemma i lugn och ro med god mat och Sagan om ringen på tv:n. Idag har vi varit hos grannarna och fikat, alltid lika trevligt att träffas. Känns som att det här är sista lediga kvällen, gubben börjar jobba imorgon, själv börjar jag på fredag igen.

Första lacket ut på nya året blev Essie Teacup Half Full ett enligt Essie själva kastanjebrunt lack med guldskimmer. Jag skulle nog mer gå åt ljusbrunt, men strunt samma. Smidigt att jobba med och kräver inte mer än två lager. Jag har som vanligt topplack på också.

För något år sedan hade jag inte tagit i en flaska lack med den här färgen om jag ens skulle få betalt för det, men nu använder jag gärna den här typen av lack. Teacup Half Full är verkligen väldigt fint och så har det ett positivt namn också och det är ju alltid bra.

First of all I want to wish all of you a truly Happy New Year! We spent New Year's Eve here at home in peace and quiet with good food and Lord of the rings on TV. Today we have been at our neighbors for some coffee, we always have a lot of fun when we meet. Feels like this is the last free evening of the holiday, my husband starts working tomorrow, I myself start on Friday again.

The first polish of the new year became Essie Teacup Half Full, one according to Essie itself chestnut brown polish with gold shimmer. I would probably go more for light brown, but never mind. Easy to work with and requires no more than two layers. As usual, I have top coat on.

Some years ago I would not have considered using a bottle of polish with this kind of color even if I was offered money to wear it, but now I like to use this type of colors. Teacup Half Full is really very beautiful and it also has a positive name and that is always good.

Reader's Choice - Purrfect Pawlish Warm & Cozy

Dagarna går otroligt fort, snart är det här året till ända. Vi har hunnit med en massa och idag är det fika hos kompisar och fyrverkeriuppvisning som gäller. Jag brukar åka dit och fotografera, vilket är kul, men jag lägger absolut inte pengar på det. Onödigt, dyrt och miljöförstörande.

Idag visar jag upp sista läsarnas val för året och också sista röda omgången för ett tag framöver. Jag är inte trött på röda lack dock, så det lär dyka upp fler här rätt snart. Lacket som ni valde till mig den här gången hade jag alldeles glömt bort faktiskt. Purrfect Pawlish Warm & Cozy är ett lite mörkare rött med skimmer i. Det kan ha tjocknat till lite i flaskan, men var riktigt smidigt att jobba med och två lager och topplack fungerar perfekt.

Bilderna kan absolut inte göra det här lacket rättvisa, det är så otroligt vackert! Älskar verkligen det här.

Då blir det lite Sesame Street lack som ni får rösta på till nästa vecka.

The days go incredibly fast, soon this year is over. We have done a lot of things and seen a lot of people during the holiday and today meeting with morefriends and fireworks display are the ones that apply. I usually go there and take pictures, which is fun, but I definitely don't spend money on it. Unnecessary, expensive and environmentally destructive.

Today I show the last readers' choices for the year and also the last red round for a while to come. I'm not tired of red polishes though, so it will appear more here soon. The polish you chose for me this time is a one that I had completely forgotten about. Purrfect Pawlish Warm & Cozy is a little darker red with shimmer in it. It may have thickened a little in the bottle, but was really easy to work with and two layers and topcoat work perfectly.

The pictures absolutely cannot do this polish justice, it is so beautiful! Really love this.

You will get some Sesame Street polishes to vote on for next week.

Zoya Storm

Hoppas att ni allihopa haft en lika fin jul som vi har haft. Allting har blivit så bra som det bara kan bli, lugnt och skönt med mycket god mat och fina presenter. Idag har vi faktiskt varit och tränat, kändes rätt bra, resten av dagen är oskriven, men lite brädspel kan det nog bli.

På julafton hade jag fortfarande kvar mina julgranar, men igår när vi firade med makens familj blev det ommålat till ett av mina absoluta favoritlack. Ett som jag alltid tar till när jag vill kunna måla lite snabbt och lätt. Det är Zoya Storm jag tänker på. Ett svart lack med prismatiskt glitter i. Det täcker på två lager och är så smidigt att jobba med.

Det här funkade alldeles perfekt till min riktigt julröda tunika som jag bar igår ihop med svarta strumpbyxor.

Hope you all had as nice Christmas as we had. Everything has been just as you imagine how your Christmas should be, family gathered and lots of food and nice gifts. Today we have actually been to the gym, felt pretty good, the rest of the day is unwritten, but a little board game will probably happen.

On Christmas Eve I still had my Christmas trees on the nails, but yesterday when we celebrated with my husband's family it was repainted into one of my absolute favorite polishes. One that I always use when I want to be able to paint a little quickly and easily. That's  Zoya Storm I'm thinking of. A black polish with prismatic glitter. It covers in two layers and is so easy to work with.

This worked perfectly with  my really Christmas red dress that I wore yesterday with black tights.

Christmas Trees

Dagen före julafton! Barnen är hemma, granen är klädd, bara lite matfixning och julklappsinslagning kvar sen kan julen komma. Känns skönt att man inte behöver superstressa. Om jag har tur kanske äntligen min 12 days of Christmas julkalender dyker upp hos min paketutlämning idag. Tack Postnord för "fantastisk" service....

Jag kunde ju inte låta bli att göra lite nail art över Ms Sparkle fuse. Jag började med att stämpla en sirlig julgran, men tyckte att den syntes för lite så jag fyllde i med grön färg, stämplade en stjärna på toppen och ritade på frihand dit lite glitter.

Lite naivistiska, moderna granar, men ganska kul tycker jag nog.

The day before Christmas Eve! The children are at home, the Christmas tree is decorated, just a little food that needs to be cooked and Christmas gift wrapping left then Christmas can come. Feels nice not to feel super stressed. If I'm lucky, maybe my 12 days of Christmas calendar will show up at my package delivery today. Thank you Postnord for "fantastic" service ....

I couldn't help but to do some nail art over Ms. Sparkle Fuse. I started by stamping a neat Christmas tree, but thought it didn't show well enough so I filled in with green color, stamped a star on top and drew a little glitter freehanded.

A little naivistic, modern fir, but quite fun I think.
