Turtle Tootsie Polishes - Teeny Weeny Pink Bikini

Igår fick vi lite snabbesök av sonen som hängde med två kompisar till Växjö över dagen. Alltid mysigt att få krama om honom lite grann. Jag hade dessutom en supertrevlig lunch med en gammal jobbarkompis, men det bästa av allt är att jag fick besked om att jag kommit in på utbildningen jag sökt. Så otroligt glad och det är så skönt att veta vad man ska göra ett tag framöver. Idag blev det träning och ett litet besök hos blomsterbutiken igen. Plus en mysig fikastund med en vän.

Vissa lack vill man liksom inte ta bort och det jag visade häromdagen Depend 7 Day Gone To The Beach var ett sånt, men samtidigt så ville jag ju inte missa Sminkans holofredag, så nu när det svalnat lite tog jag mig i kragen och bytte lack till Turtle Tootsie Polishes Teeny Weeny Pink Bikini. Ett magentafärgat holo som täcker på två lager och är mycket bra att måla med.

Det här är som ni nog vet den typ av rosa som är min favorit och jag gillar det här väldigt mycket. Så härlig sommarfärg och holon är tydlig och fin. Turtle Tootsie Polishes gör suveräna lack, har ni inte testat märket så tycker jag det är dags att ni gör det.

Yesterday we had a quick visits from our son who had drove down to Växjö with two friends just over the day. Always cozy to hug him a little bit. I also had an amazing lunch with an old working friend, but best of all, I got the message that I had been admitted to the education I applied for. So incredibly happy and it's so nice to know what to do in the future. Today I have been to the gym and a small visit to the flower shop again. Plus a cozy meeting with a friend.

Some polishes you just don't want to remove and what I showed the other day Depend 7 Day Gone To The Beach was one of those, but at the same time I didn't want to miss Sminkan's holofriday, so now that it has turned a little bit colder (we are having a heatwave in Sweden) I got the hold of myself and switched to Turtle Tootsie Polishes Teeny Weeny Pink Bikini. A magenta colored holo that covers in two layers and is very good to paint with.

This is as you probably know the kind of pink that is my favorite and I like this very much. It's a beautiful summer color and the holo are clear and beautiful. Turtle Tootsie Polishes make superb polishes, if you haven't tested the brand yet, I think it's time for you to do so.

Idag har vi varit och beställt vårt nya kök och i slutet på Augusti är det dags för snickarna att komma och installera. Ska bli så skönt med ett rymligare och bättre planerat kök. Fast vi måste ju förstås bestämma oss för lite kakel, golv och färg till väggarna också. Inte helt enkelt.

På mina naglar sitter idag det mycket härliga Gone To The Beach från Depend 7 Day. Superbra formula, två lager och topplack är vad jag har på mig.

Det är så himla härlig knallig grön färg på det här lacket. Det lyser verkligen upp vill jag lova. Hur snyggt som helst till de svarta kläderna jag hade på mig i värmen.

Today we have been and ordered our new kitchen and at the end of August it's time for the carpenters to come and install. It's going to be so nice with a more spacious and better planned kitchen. We now "only" needs to decide on tiles, floor and paint to the walls as well. Not that simple.

On my nails today is the very beautiful Gone To The Beach from Depend 7 Day. Superb formula, two layers and topcoat is what I'm wearing.

It's such heavenly gorgeous green color on this polish. It really is bright and happy and pops out great against the black clothes I was wearing in the heat.

Untried A-Z Challenge: K = Kiko 401 Peacock Green

Vilken härlig helg vi har haft! I fredags så var vi på ett intressant ställe och lämnade in vår MG för lite genomgång. Det är så underbart med superkunniga människor som gärna delar med sig av sin kunskap och som lyser av glädje när man pratar om t.ex bilar som det gällde i det här fallet. Vädret var helt underbart och vi satt ute och åt på kvällen. Lördagen var det ju sen dags för fotomaran och vi hade tur med vädret och jag tyckte själv det gick riktigt bra. Var supernöjd med mina bidrag och uppenbarligen tyckte någon annan också jag gjort bra i från mig för en av mina bilder kom på tredje plats i kategorin motljus. Sen var det ju söndag och dags för Mors dag. Vi firade både Jörgens och min mamma och själv fick jag ett telefonsamtal från äldste sonen och en stor kram från yngste och det är fina grejer det.

Idag är det dags för bokstaven K i Untried A-Z Challenge och jag plockade fram ett lack som jag tror att jag köpt i en blogsale hos fina Anne på Nailtastic för rätt länge sedan. Ett lack från ett märke som jag tycker är lite underskattat nämligen Kiko. Det här heter 401 Peacock Green och är ett holo. För första gången på länge så råkade jag på ett något lite holosjukt lack, dvs det blir lätt kala fläckar på nageln när man målar med det. Inte så att det vållade några stora problem men man fick jobba snabbt och säkert. Två lager och topplack är vad jag har på bilderna.

Jag skulle nog vilja kalla den här färgen för Aqua blå eller grön, ni vet lite som medelhavet. Väldigt fin är den och en mycket trevlig holo. Dessutom får vi väl hoppas att den ger mig tur för jag bar det här på en jobbintervju idag.

What a lovely weekend we have had! Friday we went to a garage to leave our MG for some repairs. It's so wonderful with super knowledgeable people who like to share their knowledge and who are delighted when talking about it like for instance old english cars in this case. The weather was absolutely wonderful and we sat outside in the evening and had our dinner. The day after it was time for the photomarathon and again we were lucky with the weather and I thought it went really well. I was very happy with my contributions and obviously someone else also thought I was doing well in since one my photos came third in the category of backlight. The weekend went fast and the Sunday was spent celebrating Mothers Day. We celebrated both Jörgens and my mother and I received a phone call from the oldest son and a big hug from the youngest and that's nice stuff.

Today it's time for the letter K in the Untried A-Z Challenge and I picked up a polish that I think I bought in a blogsale from my friend Anne at Nailtastic a pretty long time ago. A polish from a brand that I think is a bit underestimated, namely Kiko. This is called 401 Peacock Green and is a holo. For the first time in a long time, I encountered a slightly small, holo sickness in a polish, ie you easily get naked spots on the nail when painting it. Not that it caused any major problems, but you had to work quickly and safely. Two layers and topcoat are what I have on in the pictures.

I'd probably call this color for Aqua blue or green, you know a little like the Mediterranean. Very nice color and a beautiful holo. I also hope that this polish gave me a bit of luck, because I wore it on ajob interview today.

Reader's Choice - Dance Legend Papaya

Idag ska jag vara med på en Fotomara i Halmstad, ska bli så himla roligt. Att utmana sig själv och sin fantasi som fotograf är verkligen hur kul som helst, så håll tummarna för att jag och maken kan slå våra kloka huvuden ihop och hitta på bra grejer.

Lacket som ni röstade fram förra gången det var läsarnas val är Dance Legend Papaya ett härligt neonorange lack med sträng och cirkel glitter i svart och vitt. Jag har valt att applicera det här över Depend 7 Day Born To Surf. Det går kanske att använda på egen hand, men misstänker att man behöver rätt många lager då. På det här sättet kommer man faktiskt undan med bara ett. Glittret sprider sig smidigt över nageln.

Normalt sett så tycker jag verkligen inte om strängglitter, men här tycker jag faktiskt att det funkar riktigt bra. Påminner mig lite om det klassiska Lynderella lacket Connect the Dots. För mig så blev det här en färgglad och kul manikyr som jag faktiskt kan tänka mig att bära igen. Och det är ett riktigt högt betyg för ett sånt här glitter.

Det blir lite blandade Indies att rösta på till nästa vecka.

Today I'm going to take part in a Fotomarathon in Halmstad, I'm really looking forward to this. Challenging yourself both as a photographer and your imagination is really fun, so hold your thumbs that me and my husband will come up with great ideas. 

The polish that you voted for last time, it was readers' choice is Dance Legend Papaya a great neonorange polish with string and circle glitter in black and white. I have chosen to apply this over Depend 7 Day Born To Surf. It might be possible to use it on it's own, but I suspect that you would need pretty many layers that way. In this way, you actually get away with just one. The glitter spreads smoothly over the nail.

Normally, I don't like string glitters at all, but here I really think it works well. Reminds me a little about the classic Lynderella polish Connect the Dots. To me, this became a colorful and fun manicure that I can actually imagine wearing again. And that's a really high grade for this kind of glitter from me.

Holofredag - Ms Sparkle Pogo

Idag ville det sig inte alls när jag skulle måla naglarna, har faktiskt målat om tre gånger. Och inte med samma lack ens!

Nåja, nu ska jag snart packa ihop lite grejer och sätta mig i bilen för att köra till Halmstad. Dels för att lämna in vår veteranbil, men också för att vi imorgon ska på fotomara.

Till slut så landade i alla fall Ms Sparkle Pogo på naglarna, detta efter att jag plötsligt kommit ihåg att det är fredag och då är det ju holofredag hos Sminkan. Det här funkade fint att måla med och jag har två lager och topplack på bilderna.

Härligt mörkblått men ändå lite knalligt i färgen och så med en massa holo. Superkombo tycker jag.

Somedays painting your nails can be a real pain in the .... and this was one of those days. No matter how I did it didn't turn out the way I wanted it too so after three tries I am finally satisfied. That is with three different polishes!

Well, now I have to hurry up a bit and pack up some stuff and get in the car to drive to Halmstad. Firstly, to leave our veteran car at a garage, but also because we are going to participate in a photo marathon tomorrow.

At last, Ms Sparkle Pogo landed on my nails, after I suddenly remembered that it is Friday and then it's also holofriday at Sminkan. This worked great to paint with I have two layers and topcoat on the pictures.

Lovely dark blue but still a bit edgy in the color and with a lot of holo. A really wonderful polish.
