Nail Art Sunday

Stenar utsända för recension.

Jag är jättetrött, men så himla nöjd med gårdagen. 80's Rock kommer jag att leva på länge, förutom tanten som inte uppskattade att vi stod upp och dansade med lite grann ;)

Idag är det återigen Nail Art Sunday, men inte med något speciellt tema så jag gör som vanligt och bakar ihop det med The Nail Challenge Collaborative. Där är ju temat Pink Autumn och jag som redan hade ett bra lila lack på naglarna funderade givetvis på hur jag skulle kunna få till det så att det funkade med temat.

Ganska enkelt faktiskt. En av de finaste blommorna så här på hösten tycker jag är Aster. Dom håller länge och har fina färger, bl.a lila.

Jag hittade ett mönster som man med lite fantasi kan likna med Aster på BP- L024 och har sen för att få in lite rosa stämplat med China Glaze Emotion. Stenarna är nog något för utstickande för att jag ska känna mig riktigt bekväm med dom, men för övrigt så gillar jag manikyren riktigt mycket.

I'm really tired, but so very pleased with last nights event. 80's Rock is something I will remember with a smile for a long time, except for the grumpy woman who did not appreciate that we stood up and danced a little;)

Today is Nail Art Sunday, but not with any particular theme so I did as I do most of the Sundays and combine it with The Nail Challenge Collaborative. In that group the theme is Pink Autumn and I already had a good purple polish on my nails so I thought hard of what I could do to make something with that polish to make it fit in to the theme.

Pretty simple actually. One of the finest flowers this time of year is in my mind Aster. They are long lasting and has nice colors, purple, among others.

I found a pattern  that you could with little imagination compare with Aster on BP-L024 and then to bring in a little pink to fit the theme I stamped with China Glaze Emotion. To spice it up a little extra I did put some rhinestones from Born Pretty Store on it as well. The stones are slightly protruding for me to feel really comfortable with them, but otherwise I like the manicure really much.

Reader's Choice - Zoya Serenity

Jag längtar till ikväll när vi ska på 80' Rock med goda vänner, men först blir det lite lackning och fotografering.

Lacket ni valde åt mig till idag är Zoya Serenity ett snyggt lite dammigt mellanlila krämlack. Det är ingen större hemlighet att jag gillar Zoya och så även detta. Två lager och topplack, sen är du färdig.

På Zoyas hemsida beskrivs det här lacket som ett sommarlila, är det en färg? Jag tycker att det funkar precis lika bra nu på hösten, för även om de flesta dras till lite mörkare toner så känner jag vissa dagar att jag vill ha något lite ljusare, roligare på naglarna för att lätta upp dagen lite grann.

Jag gillar det här riktigt mycket, ett trevligt lack, inget speciellt unikt kanske, men fint och klädsamt. Och en kräm som man kan hitta på nail art på!

Till nästa vecka är det tre lack från Dance Legend som ni får rösta på.

The polish you selected for me from last weeks poll is Zoya Serenity a neat little dusty purple creme polish. It's no secret that I like Zoya and this is no exception. Two coats and top coat, then you're finished.

On Zoya's website this is described as a summer purple, is that a color? I think it works just as well now in the autumn. Although most are attracted to darker colors right now I feel some days that I want something a little brighter, more fun on the nails to lighten up the day a little bit.

I like this quite a lot, a nice polish, nothing particularly unique, perhaps, but nice and flattering. And a cream that can be used as a base in nail art!

OPI - Inside The Isabelletway

Då var det dags för mig att visa det sista lacket jag har ur OPIs Washington DC kollektion.

Lacket heter Inside the Isabelletway och har en färg som liknar mjölkchoklad eller kanske smält mjölkchoklad. Jag upplevde att det här var ett av de bästa av lacken jag provat ur kollektion när det gäller formulan. Inte ett dugg strimmigt och två lager räcker absolut. Torktiden var helt normal och som vanligt har jag topplack på bilderna.

Återigen är det här ett lack som jag blir lite förvånad över att jag tycker är ok. Jag hade inte förväntat mig det och i flaskan ser det rätt tråkigt ut. Färgen är inte någon som blir en favorit, men jag tycker ändå att den är trevlig. Affärsmässig kanske är ett bra uttryck.

So it's time for me to show the last polish I have from OPIs Washington DC collection.

The polish is called Inside the Isabelletway and has a color similar to milk chocolate or even melting milk chocolate. I felt that this was one of the best from the collection in terms of formula. Not a bit streaky and two layers are absolute enough. The drying time was completely normal and as usual, I have topcoat on in the images.

Again this is a polish that I am a little surprised that I think is ok. I was not expecting it and in the bottle it looks pretty boring. The color is not someone who will be a favorite, but I still think it's nice. A perfect business polish is a good explanation.

 

Liquid Sky Lacquer - Dance The Night Away

Det blåser som tusan utanför dörren och jag är inte ett dugg sugen på att gå ut. Sitter istället och lyssnar på bok och målar lite naglar.

Liquid Sky Lacquer Dance The Night Away fick jag i min adventskalender förra året så det är väl hög tid att använda det nu. Det här är ett riktigt mörkt blått holo, med ganska starkt holoeffekt. Det har en ganska tjock formula, men absolut ingen jobbig utan jag upplevde att det var smidigt att jobba med. Två lager har jag, tror att man kan klara sig med ett. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.

Jag gillar det här riktigt mycket. Snygg färg, trevlig holo och bra att måla med. Kanon alltså!

Outside the wind is blowing really hard and I'm not at all keen on going out. I rather sit indoors listening to books and painting my nails. 

Liquid Sky Lacquer Dance the Night Away, I got this in my advent calendar last year, so it's high time to use it now. This is a really dark blue holo, with fairly strong effect. It has a fairly thick formula, but absolutely not annoying, I felt that it was easy to work with. Two layers is what I have on. I believe that you could get away with only one. In the pictures I have topcoat on too.

I like this a lot. Nice color, nice holo and good to paint with. Pretty perfect!

 

CND Vinylux - Emerald Lights

Idag är det grönt som gäller här på bloggen då det är Karins gröna Onsdag.

Jag valde att lacka med CND Vinylux Emerald Lights. Ett underbart skogsgrönt glitter lack. Den här gången gjorde jag som man ska och hoppade över baslack eftersom det finns inbyggt i själva lacket. Jag är förvånad över hur pass bra det funkade på mina något randiga naglar som normalt kräver ridge filler. Plus i kanten där. Dessutom var det mycket trevligt att jobba med. Man kan säkert få det att täcka på ett lager, men jag har två. På det här har jag topplacket som är speciellt för Vinylux lacken.

När det kommer till topplack skulle jag vilja rekommendera två lager, för det här äter upp topplacket rätt fort faktiskt.

Färgen är fantastiskt fin och förutom att det äter lite topplack så är jag riktigt nöjd med det här. Det ingår i en vinter kollektion som heter Starstruck och jag kan mycket väl tänka mig att använda det som jullack.

Since it's Karin's Green Wednesday today I will obvioulsly show you a green polish. 

I chose to paint with CND Vinylux Emerald Lights. A wonderful forest green glitter polish. This time, I did as you are supposed to with these polihses. I jumped using base coat because the polish itself has a built in base coat. I'm surprised how well it worked on my somewhat ridged nails that normally require ridge filler. A big plus from me for that. Moreover, it was very nice to work with. You can certainly get it to cover in one coat, but I have two. And over this I have the special Vinylux topcoat.

When it comes to topcoat, I would recommend two layers, because this eats up the topcoat pretty fast.

The color is amazing and besides eating up some topcoat I am really pleased with this one. It's part of a winter collection called Starstruck and I can very well imagine myself using this as a Christmas polish.
