Lack = Polish in Swedish and we all know what Lucky means. So Lacky Corner is a play with words.
Denna veckan är det guld och silver som gäller i vårat Golden Oldie Challenge och jag har plockat fram mitt absoluta favoritlack när det kommer till guldlack.
Zoya Ziv är nog det första guldlacket som jag verkligen trivdes i och fortfarande trivs lika bra i. Kanske för att det inte är så där rödguldsaktigt utan mer åt det bruna lite lugna hållet.
Ännu ett Zoya lack som är hur smidigt som helst att lacka med och täcker på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på.
Jag tycker väldigt mycket om det här lacket både att bära på egen hand och som bas till nail arts eller som accentnagel till något annat. Gillar man guldlack så är det här nästan ett måste i samlingen.
This week the theme in our Golden Oldie Challenge is gold or silver and I have picked up my absolute favorite nail polish when it comes to gold. Zoya Ziv is probably the first gold polish that I really liked wearing and still thrives equally well in. Maybe because it's not like that really shine redgoldish, but more brownish calmer gold color. This is another Zoya polish that is really easy to apply and covers in two coats. In the pictures I have topcoat on. I really like this polish both wear on it's own and as a base to nail arts or as accent nail with another polish. If you like gold polishes this is almost a must in your collection.
I förra veckan dök det ner en låda proppfull med nail art saker från Depend och bland dom grejerna bl.a stamping kit och stampinglack. Givetvis var det de grejerna som jag var mest nyfiken på och ville testa först.
Kittet består av stämpel, skrapa, två stämpellack och två mönsterplattor och lackförpackningen jag fick har svart, vitt och silverlack.
Det jag har använt mig av är plattan från kittet och den vita stämpelfärgen. Stämpeln som följer med är väl helt ok, men jag gillar mina marshmallow stämplar så mycket bättre så jag har använt mig av en sådan istället.
Lacket som jag stämplat över är Depend 486. Mönstren på plattan var bra etsade och plockades lätt upp av stämpeln och jag gillade lacket riktigt mycket också. Jag har inte testat det över mörkare färger än, men tror att det borde vara tillräckligt täckande även för att användas så.
Allt som allt så är jag riktigt nöjd med produkterna. I lådan fanns även en annan platta som säljs för sig själv som ser ut att ha många fina mönster.
De här varorna finns hos Åhlens och vissa parfymerier. Kittet kostar 139:- och stämpellacken 69:- vilket jag tycker är rätt överkomliga priser.
Press Sample Last week I got a big box crammed with nail art stuff from Depend and among the things in it was a stamping kit and stamping polishes. Naturally, it was those things that I was most curious about and wanted to test first. The kit consists of stamper, scraper, two stamping polishes and two stampingplates and the package with stamping polishes that I received has a black, white and silver polish. What I have been using for this manicure is one of the plates from the kit and the white stamping polish. The stamp that comes in the kit is a ok, but I like my marshmallow stamps so much better so I am using such instead. The polish that I stamped over is Depend 486. The patterns on the plate was well etched and picked up easily by the stamp and I liked the polish very much. I have not tested it over darker colors yet, but believe that it should be opaque enough to use of such too.. All in all, I'm really happy with the products. There was another stamping plate in the box that is sold by itself that looks to have many nice designs as well. These products are available at Åhlens. The kit costs 139 SEK and the set with stamping polish 69SEk which I think is pretty affordable.
Det blir en del blått på bloggen denna veckan, det var inte riktigt tanken, men slumpade sig så. Idag visar jag er det royalblåa Sia från Zoya som jag fått från Katarina på Edgy Polish.
Zoyas krämlack sviker en sällan och inte det här heller. Smidigt att jobba med och täcker på två lager. Torktiden var bra och på bilderna har jag topplack på.
Jag älskar verkligen den här blåa färgen på krämlack. Så himla snyggt. Alltså är det här i mina ögon ett riktigt höjdarlack.

Sent out for review There will be lots of blue polishes on the blog this week, it was not intentional, but just turned out that way. Today I will show you the royal blue Sia from Zoya that I received from Katarina at Edgy Polish. Zoyas cream polishes rarley disapoints me and not this either. Easy to work with and covers in two layers. The drying time was good and in the pictures I have topcoat on. I really love this blue color on cream polishes. Gorgeous in my opinion. So as you might understood this is a winner in my eyes. If you want to buy this or other polishes from Zoya, one of my favorite brands, you can find them at Edgy Polish.
Idag tänkte jag minsann medverka i Emelies blå måndag. Första gången på länge känner jag.
Ett av sommarens lack från Depend O2 heter 486 och är ett ljusblått krämlack som täcker på två lager och torkar fort. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.
Jag blev glatt överraskad av det här lacket. I flaskan ser det ok ut, men inte speciellt spännande, men jag tycker verkligen att det blev riktigt fint på naglarna. En fräsch och fin sommarfärg som dessutom kan bli underlag till nail art.
Press Sample Today I will participate in Emilie's blue Monday. First time in a really long time. One of the polishes from Depends summer collection is called 486 and is a light blue cream polish that covers in two coats and dries quickly. In the pictures I have topcoat on too. I was pleasantly surprised by this polish. In the bottle it looks ok, but not particularly exciting, but I really think this looks very nice on the nails. A fresh and beautiful summer color that can also be the base for nail art.
Ny månad och nytt tema i The Nail Challenge Collaborative. Denna gången är det 80-tal som gäller och med tanke på att jag var tonåring på 80-talet borde jag kunna hitta inspiration tycker jag.
För mig känns det som att det var mycket färger och mycket djurmönster så varför inte kombinera dessa? Jag har China Glaze Purple Panic i botten och har sen stämplat med mönster från MoYou London Back To the 80s 02.
För mig känns det här väldigt mycket 80-tal, men även något som funkar rätt bra nu också.
New month and new theme in The Nail Challenge Collaborative. This time it's the 80s that is the inspiration and considering that I was a teenager in the 80s, I should be able to find inspiration pretty easy. For me it feels like it was a lot of colors and animal prints back then so why not combine them? I have China Glaze Purple Panic as the base and have stamped with a pattern from MoYou London Back to the 80s 02. For me, this feels very much 80s, but also something that works pretty well now.
Lördag igen och utflykt till stan för att köpa resväskor.
Har precis lackat om till veckans läsarnas val lack. Ni valde A-England Gloriana av de tre röda som fanns att välja på. Och vilket vackert lack det här är!
Gloriana är ett rött foil lack med guldflakes i. Fast inte knallrött utan mer åt koppar hållet troligen på grund av alla guld flakesen. Det var fantastiskt att måla med och täcker på två lager. Torktiden är bra. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.
Alltså finishen i det här lacket är bara så fin. Och färgen är också riktigt snygg. Vad mer kan man säga? Som ni förstår så gillar jag lacket skarpt.
Till nästa vecka blir det gröna lack att rösta på.
Saturday again and I think we will take a trip to the town to buy suitcases. I have just repainted my nails with this week's Readers' Choice polish. You chose A-England Gloriana from the three red last week. And what a beautiful polish this is! Gloriana is a red foil with golden flakies in. Though not bright red but more copper probably because all the gold flakes. It was great to paint with and covers in two layers. The drying time is good. In the pictures I have topcoat on too. The finish of this polish makes it so incredible nice. And of course the color is also awesome. What more can you say? As you probably have guessed I like this polish a lot. For the next week there will be green polishes to vote for.
Hade hoppats på lite fint väder idag, men det får tydligen bli städning istället för att ligga ute och slöa.
Men jag glädjer mig i alla fall åt att det är inofficiell holofredag hos Sminkan och att jag har ett riktigt snyggt grönt lack att visa er.
Idag är det Nine Zero Lacquer Spectrum som jag bjuder på ett härligt ljust grönt lack med snygga regnbågar. Smidigt att jobba med och täcker på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på också.
Det är ganska gultonat det här lacket vilket kanske inte är det mest smickrande mot min hudton, men det struntar jag fullständigt i för färgen är så härlig och man blir så glad av lacket. Jag gillar det här riktigt, riktigt mycket och känner mig smått ledsen över att jag nu bara har ett till lack att prova från Nine Zero.
I had hoped for some nice weather today, but it looks like cleaning the house will be todays event instead of being lazy in the sun. But I am happy anyway because it's the unofficial holofriday at Sminkan and because I have a really neat green polish to show you. Today I show you Nine Zero Lacquer Spectrum a beautiful bright green polish with nice rainbows. Easy to work with and covers in two layers. In the pictures I have topcoat on too. It has a yellow tone to it which may not be the most flattering to my skin tone, but I don't care cause the color is so lovely and it's one of those polishes that makes you happy. I like this very, very much and I feel somewhat sad that I now just have one more polish from Nine Zero in my untried box.
Jag har varit en riktigt duktig flicka under Juni. Tycker jag i alla fall för visst har jag köpt en del, men det är mest stämpellack. Ett vanligt lack och så ett som jag fick i ett hemligt paket från födelsedagsgruppen. Inte så dåligt va!
Juli kommer bli lite annorlunda för då är det min födelsedagsmånad så jag kommer få lite paket från gruppen och så ska jag åka på semester också vilket kan innebära lite inköp.
I have been a really good girl during June. At least that's what I think. I have bought some stuff, but mostly stampingpolishes and just one bottle of regular polish. The other one is a gift from a secret package that was sent from one of my friends in the birthday group. July will be a bit different though because that is my birthday month and that means gifts from the birthday group. And I will also go away on a holiday that can mean some polish buying.

Hoppas ni har solglasögonen på för idag blir det neon så det heter duga.
Jag tror att det här kan vara ett av de allra första "riktiga" neonerna jag visade här på bloggen och tyvärr tror jag inte det blivit använt sen den gången för en sisådär 3 år sedan.
Det här är China Glaze Purple Panic som i den versionen jag har är mer rosa än lila, men helt galet rolig färg. Och det finns vissa lila flashar i det faktiskt.
Man behöver inte ha något vitt lack under. Jag har två lager som täcker bra och för att vara ett neon är det väldigt trevlig formula. Det här torkar, precis som en äkta neon ska, matt och jag la faktiskt på glansigt topplack först, men ångrade mig och körde på ett lager med matt istället.
Det här är självlysande och jag älskar verkligen hur det ser ut i matt version. Även om det lilla väldigt diskreta lila skimret syns mer när det är glansigt.
Hope you have your sunglasses on for todays polish is truly a neon. I think this may be one of the very first "real neon"I showed here on the blog, and unfortunately I do not think it has been used since that time for I guess 3 years ago or something like that. This is China Glaze Purple Panic and in the version I have it's more pink than purple, but a crazy fun color. And there are some purple flashes in it actually. You don' need to have a white polish as a base for this. I have two layers that covers really well and to be a neon it has a very nice formula. This dry, just like a real neon should, matte and I actually added glossy topcoat first, but changed my mind and took a layer of matte instead. This is luminous and I really love how it looks in matte version. Although the small but very discreet purple shimmer is more visible when it's glossy.
Dags för sista manikyren på temat TV-Spel. Jag hade egentligen tänkt göra en Zelda inspirerad manikyr, men plötsligt satt jag med en inspirerad av en av de sötaste figurerna jag vet från spel nämligen Yoshi. Den söta lilla gröna dinosaurien.
Som ni säkert ser så är ju inte det här Yoshi som jag har på naglarna, men jag har gjort min egna lilla tolkning av äggen som hen lägger.
Time for the last manicure on the video game theme. I had actually intended to make a Zelda-inspired manicure, but suddenly I had a manicure inspired by one of the cutest characters I know from video games namely Yoshi on the nails instead. You know the cute little green dinosaur. As you probably see, it's not Yoshi himself I have on the nails, but I have made my own little interpretation of the eggs it lays.

Jag ligger lite efter med mina TV-Spels manikyrer, men här kommer i alla fall nummer 3 och jag tror att det är ganska uppenbart vad inspirationen kommer ifrån denna gången.
Inspirationen till den här manikyren kommer från ett av de första spelen jag spelade på Nintendo 8-bits nämligen Super Mario Bros.
Alla ni som spelat något av Super Mario spelen känner nog igen de små svamparna som man gärna vill ha tag på för att bl.a få mer liv eller bli större.
I'm a little behind with my Video games manicures, but this is in all cases number 3 and I think it's pretty obvious what the inspiration comes from this time. The inspiration for this manicure comes from one of the first games I played on the Nintendo 8-bit namely Super Mario Bros. All of you who have played any of the Super Mario games probably recognize the little mushrooms that you want to get to among other things get another life or become larger.
Hoppas ni allihopa hade en underbar Midsommar Afton, det hade absolut jag. Avslappnad dag med sill, nypotatis, jordgubbar och grillning i goda vänners lag.
Idag har det varit så himla varmt så jag har inte orkat sätta mig vid datorn och fixa veckans läsarnas val förrän nu och det är fortfarande stekhett kan jag ju klart konstatera.
Lacket som vann era hjärtan förra veckan är Dreamland Lacquer Aurora Four-ealis, ett lack som är ett exklusivt för en av grupperna jag är med i på Facebook. Vilket gör att jag faktiskt inte tycker det är riktigt lika roligt att visa här. För jag vill gärna visa lack som är möjliga att få tag på utan att behöva vara aktiv på Facebook eller med i någon särskild grupp. Jo, jag har ett par andra lack som också bara gått och köpa via denna gruppen, men ärligt så börjar jag tröttna lite på att alla grupper ska ha sitt egna lack alla online affärerna som säljer lack ska ha sina exklusiva också.
Skulle man försöka köpa alla man vill ha av dessa blir det dyrt, mycket dyrt till och med. Men, lack från Dreamland har jag svårt att låta bli, så det fick bli detta och ett till.
Hur ska man beskriva Aurora Four-ealis då? Isblått lack som ser ut att vara metallic, men som döljer ett vackert holo också. Kan det funka kanske?
Två lager räckte för täckning och torktiden var bra. På bilderna har jag topplack också.
Jag var lite tveksam om jag skulle köpa det här eller inte, men när jag nu väl har det på naglarna ångrar jag mig verkligen inte. Det är väldigt väldigt vackert. Som en frusen sjö som solen glimmar i iskristallerna på. Poetiskt va!

Hope all of you that celebrates Midsummer Eve and Day has had a wonderful time. Me and my family certinaly had that. A very relaxed day with herring, potatoes, strawberries and barbecue with good friends. A very traditional Swedish Midsummer. It has been so very warm today so I have not felt like sitting down at the computer and write this week's readers' choice until now and it is still boiling hot, trust me. The polish that won your hearts in last week's poll is Dreamland Lacquer Aurora Four-ealis, a polish that is exclusive for one of the groups I'm a member of on Facebook. I actually don't think it's really fun to show this. Because I want to show you polishes that is possible to get without having to be active on Facebook or in any particular group. Well, I have a couple of other polishes also exklusive from that group, but honestly I'm starting to get a bit tired of that all groups must have their own polish and all the online stores have their own exclusive too. If you would try to buy all you want of these it will be expensive, very expensive. However I find it hard to resist polishes from Dreamland Lacquer, so it had to be this and another one. How should I describe Aurora Four-ealis then? Ice Blue polish that looks to be metallic, but that hides a beautiful holo too. Can it work perhaps? Two coats were enough for coverage and the drying time was good. In the pictures I have topcoat on also. I was a little hesitant if I should buy this or not, but once I got it on the nails there is no regrets. It's very very beautiful. As a frozen lake when the sun gleams on the ice crystals. Poetic huh! For the next week there will be red polishes to vote for.
