Purrfect Pawlish - Merry Christmas

Idag släpper Purrfect Pawlish sin Holiday 2015 kollektion och jag passar på att visa det sista lacket ur den för att fira detta.

Det här är Merry Christmas, det lacket som jag kanske trodde jag skulle tycka bäst om av dom här för att det är så gallet glittrigt och i perfekta julfärger. Men så blev det inte riktigt. På egen hand tog det mig fyra lager att bygga upp det här vilket blev lite klumpigt och det gillar jag inte.

Däremot är det helt underbart till glittergradients som jag har på bilderna över Warm And Cosy eller som layering över andra lack. På sticka testade jag både över rött, svart och guld och alla funkar väldigt fint måste jag säga, så om ni som jag älskar färgerna i det här lacket är ett hett tips att lägga det över ett annat lack.

Torktiden var bra på det i alla fall och som sagt det jag inte gillade med lacket går ju lätt att åtgärda genom att inte använda det på egen hand. För ett glitterlack som ser ut som julsaga är ju lite svårt att motstå faktiskt.

Today is the release day for Purrfect Pawlishs Holiday 2015 collection and I take the opportunity to show the final polish from that to celebrate this.

This is Merry Christmas, the polish that I thought maybe I would like the best from the collection because it's such a glitterbomb in the perfect Christmas colors. But that didn't turn out to be the case. On its own, it took me four layers to build up to a acceptable opacity and that made it feel thick on the nails and that is a feeling I don't like.

However, it is absolutely wonderful for glittergradients like the one I have the pictures over Warm and Cosy or layerd over another polish. I tested both over red, black and gold on a stick and they all works very nicely, I must say, so if you like me love the colors in this polish I advise you to use it as a layering polish. 

The drying time was good and as I said the only thing that I didn't like about this was that it got to thick and clumsy on it's own but of course that isn't a big problem just use it for layering and the problem is gone. Because after all a glitter polish that looks like a Christmas story is difficult to resist.

Superficially Colorful Lacquer - Witch You Were Here

Här blandar vi jullacken med Halloweenlacken. Dagens lack är nämligen från Superficially Colorful Lacquers halloweenkollektion och heter Witch You Were Here.

Ett riktigt mörkt lila lack med en fin holo. Jag tycker att det ser lite mer blåbetonat ut på bilderna än vad det egentligen är. Känns riktigt mörklila i verkligheten.

Jin vet hur man gör holos och formulan på det här är riktigt bra. Två lager som torkar snabbt och topplack, sen är det klart.

Det här är ett riktigt fint lack tycker jag som jag är väldigt glad att jag har i min samling.

I'm mixing Christmas and Halloween polishes this week!

Today's polish comes from Superficially Colorful Lacquers halloween collection and is called Witch You Were Here.

A very dark purple polish with a nice subtile holo. I think it looks a bit more blue in the pictures than in reality because I felt it look really dark purple when I wore this. 

Jin knows how to do holos and the formula in this is really good. Two layers that is quick drying and topcoat then you are done. 

This is a really nice polish in my opinion and I am very happy that I have it in my collection.

Purrfect Pawlish - Warm And Cosy

Det här är för mig det perfekta jullacket, underbart härligt rött med microflakies i rött/guld som ger det en alldeles underbar lyster.

Lacket är Warm And Cosy från Purffect Pawlishs Holiday 2015 kollektion som släpps den 20/11. Ett lite mörkare rött lack som jag blev alldeles kär i redan när jag fick flaskan i handen.

Två lager räcker och det torkar fort. På bilderna har jag topplack på vilket jag rekommenderar då det lyfter fram skimret lite extra i lacket.

Om ni redan har förstått det så är jag väldigt förtjust i det här lacket. Och ja, jag satt och funderade på hur man skulle kunna göra julmanikyrer med det här. Förutom med att bära det på egen hand vilket ju givetvis är ett alldeles strålande alternativ.

This is for me a perfect Christmas polish wonderfully beautiful red with microflakies in red / gold which gives it a very lovely glow.

The polish is Warm and cozy from Purffect Pawlishs Holiday 2015 collection, which will be released the 20th of November. A little darker red polish that I fell in love with the moment I got the bottle in my hands. 

Two layers is enough and it dries quickly. In the pictures I have topcoat on which I recommend as it brings out the shimmer a little extra in the polish.

If you haven't already understood it I will tell you again, I'm very fond of this polish. And yes, I sat and thought about how to make Christmas manicures with it. Besides wearing it on it's own which of course obviously is a very brilliant alternative.

The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents: Monochrome #3

Som ni vet är temat monochromt i The Nail Challenge Collaborative och den här manikyren blev nästan på gränsen till för monochrome, men jag tyckte den blev så vacker jag så jag tänker visa den ändå för er.

Basen är Purrfect Pawlish Ice and Snow som jag stämplat med mönster från  MoYou London Festive 02 och MoYou London Silver Dust.

Snöflingorna syntes nog lite mer i verkligheten än vad dom gör på mina bilder och som sagt jag tycker att det här blev en så fint vintrig manikyr att jag ville visa er den fastän det kanske är lite svårt att uppfatta hur det ser ut.

As you know we have monochrome as this month's theme in The Nail Challenge Collaborative and this manicure was almost on the verge of being to monochrome, but I thought it was so beautiful that I still wanted to show it to you. 

The base is Purrfect Pawlish Ice and Snow that I stamped with designs from MoYou London Festive 02 and MoYou London Silver Dust.

The snowflakes does show a bit more in reality than on the photos and as I said I think this was such a nice wintry manicure so I wanted to show it to you even though it might be somewhat difficult to understand how it looks for real.

Winter Nail Art Challenge

Nu är det dags att börja förbereda för årets Winter Nail Art Challenge. I år kommer vi att ha två teman per vecka på måndagar och torsdagar under December. Man deltar i så många man själv vill och känner man har tid för. Tanken är ju att det här ska vara kul och inte stressande.
