Reader's Choice - Pretty Serious Hack the Halls

Halleluja vilket lack ni har valt åt mig denna veckan!

Faktum är att Pretty Serious Hack the Halls nog är det bästa lack jag lackat med på år och dag. Men vi kan väl kanske börja med några ord om färgen först. Det här är en foil i samma färg som det första gräset som kommer upp på våren, dock brukar inte gräs ha guldskimmer, men det har lacket. Som jag skrev är det en helt galet bra formula på det här. Jag har två lager på bilderna, men det är nog inte nödvändigt egentligen. Det här lacket är faktiskt som en dröm att jobba med. Helt perfekta kanter utan något som helst kladd och så följsamt att man nästan gråter av glädje! Just det, jag har topplack över på bilderna.

Det finns absolut ingenting som jag ogillar med Hack the Halls. Jag älskar färgen och blir så sjukt sugen på att köpa varenda Pretty Serious lack som finns, men eftersom jag faktiskt gjort lite inköp på senaste tiden får jag nog hålla lite i plånboken (kanske).

Halleluja what a polish you have chosen for me this week!

In fact, Pretty Serious Hack the Halls is probably the best polish I've work with for years. But we may start with a few words about the color first. This is a foil of the same color as the first grass coming up in spring, however, grass does not usually have gold shimmer but Hack the Halls has that. As I wrote, it's an amazing good formula on this. I have two layers in the pictures, but it's probably not necessary actually. I'm pretty sure one could be enough. This polish is actually like a dream to work with. You get absolutely perfect edges without any problem and so easy to work with that you almost cry for joy! And I have topcoat on in the pictures.

There is absolutely nothing I dislike with Hack the Halls. I love the color and would so so much like to buy every Pretty Serious polish available, but since I have actually made some purchases lately, I may have to hold on to my money (maybe).

Anny - 047 The Power of Love

Idag tänker jag visa ett lack som jag fått av en av mina fina vänner i vår födelsedagsgrupp. Dessutom mitt första från Anny.

Som sagt nytt märke och en trevlig första bekantskap. Jag trodde dock att det här skulle vara rödare på naglarna än vad det är. Eller jag trodde det skulle vara ett svärtat rött lack, men jag måste nog säga att jag tycker det är mer svärtat lila med ett mycket vacker skimmer. Inga problem alls med formulan och jag tror att det här går att få att täcka på ett lager, dock har jag två på bilderna. Med topplack över.

Jag faller lätt för den här typen av vampiga lack och för min del spelar det ingen roll att det här kanske uppfattas mer som ett höstlack för jag älskar det hela året runt. Visst lite mer nyans av rött eller lila kanske skulle varit fint, men jag tycker väldigt väldigt mycket om det som det är.

Today I'm going to show you a polish I received from one of my dear friends in our birthday group. And also my first from Anny.

As said a new brand and a nice first acquaintance. I thought, however, that this would be more red on the nails than it is. Or I thought it would be a blackish red polish, but I have to say that I think it's more blackened purple with a very beautiful shimmer. No problem at all with the formula and I think it's possible to get it to cover in one layer, but I have two in the pictures. With topcoat over.

I easily fall for this kind of vampy colors and, for my part, it doesn't matter that this may be perceived more like a fall polish because I love it all year round. Certainly a little more shade of red or purple might have been nice, but I like it very much as it is. 

Depend - 508

Pressutskick

Hur många magenta färgade krämlack kan det finnas? Svar: Många och Depend 508 från vårens Eastern Fusion kollektion är ännu ett. Nu har jag absolut inget emot det här för jag gillar färgen, men det känns inte speciellt spännande precis.

Dock tycker jag att 508 är ett riktigt bra alternativ i den här färgen eftersom det är riktigt trevligt att jobba med och täcker på två lager utan problem. På bilderna har jag topplack över.

Inledningen kanske låter som jag inte alls gillar det här, men det är helt fel för jag tycker det är riktigt fint. Men som jag skrev är det här mer än standard färg i väldigt många märkens vår eller sommarkollektioner. Och så funkar det ju och av den enkla anledningen till att folk frågar efter just den här typen av färg på våren. Och visst blir man lite glad av färgen.

How many magenta colored creampolishes is available out there? The answer is very many and Depend 508 from their spring collection  Eastern Fusion is yet another. I don't have any problem with that since I actually like this color,  but it doesn't feel particularly exciting.

However, I think 508 is a really good option in this color because it's really nice to work with and covers in two coats without any problems. In the pictures I have topcoat over.

When you read my introduction to this post you might get the feeling that I don't like this at all, but it's completely wrong, because I think it's really nice. But as I wrote, this is more of a standard color in many brands spring or summer collections. And the reason for that is of course as simple as that people asks for it in the springtime. And to be honest I think this is a color that you get happy of. 

Zoya - Rocha

När jag hade målat med Zoya Rocha var jag faktiskt tvungen att försöka klura ut hur länge jag haft det här lacket i min ägo. Genom att gå igenom gamla Haul inlägg hittade jag det. Augusti 2015 köptes detta och har sedan dess stått och väntat i lådan.

Varför har det stått då? Har faktiskt ingen aning, men det ser väl inte så värst spännande ut i flaskan kanske. Dock kan man ju tycka att jag borde plockat upp det till en Halloween manikyr eller något liknande, men det har ju uppenbarligen inte hänt så nu var det på tiden att det blev använt.

Jag tycker att det är något mer orange i verkligheten än på mina bilder, där ser det mer korallaktigt ut. Det finns också ett väldigt diskret skimmer i lacket som jag inte såg förrän det var på naglarna. Zoya är och förblir ett märke som står högt i kurs hos mig och det här lacket var inget undantag när det gäller formulan. Riktigt bra och täcker på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på.

Ett härligt knalligt lack, men ändå inget som jag blev överförtjust i. Snyggt, men där stannar det liksom.

When I had painted with Zoya Rocha, I actually had to try to figure out how long I had this polish in my possession. By looking through old Haul's posts I found it. I got this in August 2015 and it has been standing in my drawer since then. 

Why, is the question? I don't  really have a clue, but it doesn't look that exciting in the bottle. However, you may think that I should have picked it up for a Halloween manicure or something like that, but apparently it has not happened so now it was about time it was used.

I think this is a bit more orange in reality than on my pictures, where it looks more coral. There is also a very discreet shimmer in it that I didn't see until it was on the nails. Zoya is and will remain one of my favorite brands and Rocha was no exception in terms of the formula. Really good and it covers in two layers. In the pictures I have topcoat on.

A beautiful bright polish, but nothing that I was really taken by. Nice, but that's about it. 

OPI - Get Cherried Away

Om man vill ha ett riktigt bra rött krämlack så ska man leta bland OPIs röda och detsamma gäller för ett riktigt bra lila kräm. I alla fall enligt mig.

Idag är det ett lack från Coca Cola kollektionen som kom 2014 som jag visar er, men det finns en uppsjö av mer eller mindre dupes att hitta. Det här är Get Cherried Away ett ganska rödtonat lila lack som täcker på två lager och torkar fort. Jag funderade först på att göra det matt, men det blev ett vanligt glansigt topplack till slut.

Jag älskar den här typen av lila lack, vet redan när jag lägger första penseldraget att jag kommer trivas i det och det gjorde jag absolut med Get Cherried Away. Snyggt och stilfullt enligt mig.

If you want a really good red cream polish, go for one of  OPI's red and the same goes for a really good purple cream. At least according to me.

Today, it's a polish from the 2014 Coca Cola collection I will show you, but there's a plethora of more or less dupes to find. This is Get Cherried Away a pretty red-tinted purple polish that covers in two layers and dries fast. At first I thought of putting a matte topcoat on but changed my mind in the last second and used a glossy one.

I love this kind of purple polish, I already know when I put the first brush stroke on that I will enjoy it and I absolutely did with Get Cherried Away. Stylish and pleasant to wear according to me.
