Nail Art Sunday & The Nail Challenge Collaborative presents - Neon

Jag gör som förra söndagen och väver ihop både Nail Art Sunday och The Nail Challenge Collaborative.

Bägge grupperna har denna söndagen temat neon och jag hade fått lite grejer som jag skulle recensera från Born Pretty Store som passade att använda just idag.

Som bas har jag det vita krämlacket Purity från Zoya.

Sakerna som skulle testas var dels en typ av svamp som man ska plocka upp löst glitter med och applicera på nageln med och så då löst glitter som jag inte tidigare jobbat med.

Eftersom det fanns ett neonrosa glitter kände jag att det skulle vara kul att göra en glittergradient över vitt med så det är vad jag gjort.

Jag måste säga att jag tyckte svampen funkade ganska smidigt. Fast det gäller nog att lacket som man ska lägga det på inte hunnit torka helt för då fastnar det inte. Dessutom är det bra att ha hushållspapper eller liknande under när man jobbar för det blir en del löst glitter utanför naglarna.

Jag är i alla fall nöjd med slutresultatet som jag nog tycker ser finare ut i verkligheten där det glittrar rätt bra än på bilderna.

I'm doing like I did last Sunday and weaves together both Nail Art Sunday and The Nail Challenge Collaborative.

Both groups have neon as the theme this Sunday and I had some stuff from Born Pretty Store that I got for review that I thougth would fit perfect today.

As a base, I have the white creme polish Purity from Zoya.

The items to be tested was partly a type of sponge that you should pick up loose glitter with and apply on the nail with and loose glitter that I have not previously worked with.

Since there was a neon pink glitter, I felt it would be fun to do a glittergradient over white with so that's what I've done.

I must say that I found that the sponge worked quite smoothly. Though I guess you need to work fast before the polish has dried to much otherwise the glitter wont stick to the nail. And I would say that it's good to have something underneath when you working that you can through away afterwards, because you will get a bunch of glitter on the bench.

I am satisfied with the end result that but I probably think it looks nicer in real life where you see the sparkle in the glitter much better than in my pictures.

Depend O2 - 5039 Dungeons & Goddesses

Vad kan vara bättre än att fira Sminkan & Emmas holofredag med ett av Depend O2s nya hololack? Tja, det kanske finns bättre saker, men just nu tycker jag det är en briljant idé.

Det här är 5039 Dungeons & Goddesses ett lila lack med mycket röd ton i sig. Precis som det första jag provade från kollektionen så var det här smidigt att jobba med och täckte på två lager. På bilderna har jag topplack på också. Torktiden var förresten mycket bra.

Det här är verkligen riktigt snyggt. För någon som jag som började mitt lackberoende med ett lila lack får det här mig att återigen komma ihåg varför jag blev en lacknörd. Jag gillar det här supermycket och jag längtar faktiskt tills de här lacken kommer ut i butik så alla andra också får njuta av skönheterna.

What could be better than to celebrate Sminkan & Emmas holofriday with one of Depend O2's new holopolishes? Well, there are probably other things, but right now I think it's a brilliant idea.

This is 5039 Dungeons & Goddesses a purple polish with a very red tone in it. Just like the first one I tried from the collection, this was easy to work with and covered in two layers. In the pictures I have topcoat on too. The drying time was by the way very nice.

This is really really neat. For someone like me who started my addiction to polishes with a purple one it's a reminder of why I became a polish nerd. I like this so so much and I actually long for this to be released so that the rest of you can enjoy the beauties.

July Haul

I juli har det trillat in en del lack till min samling, men det är faktiskt bara ett enda av dessa lacken som jag köpt själv. Resten är presenter från mina underbara vänner i Födelsedagsgruppen.

Alltså tycker jag att jag varit en riktigt duktig flicka även denna månaden. Vi får väl se hur det går i Augusti. En liten resa till Prag kan ju förstöra de bästa intentioner :)

I have extended my collection pretty good in July but in my defense I would like to state that only one of these polishses have been bought by me. The rest is presents from my wonderful friends in our birthday group.

So I do think that I have been a pretty good girl. Well, not sure I will be as good in August. A weekend trip to Prauge could destroy the best of intentions :)

Inte länge sedan jag visade den otroligt fina HOLO Fantasy kollektionen från Depend O2 och nu trillade nya Depend 7 Day höstkollektion force of nature ner i lådan.

Åtta stycken lack med olika finish som kommer att finnas i butik från v.35 och kommer kosta 39 kronor styck.

It's not long ago that I showed you the bottleshots of the amazing HOLO Fantasy collection from Depend O2 and just the other day another great collection landed in my mailbox. This time the force of nature collection from Depend 7 Day.

OPI - Yank My Doodle

Jag är inte överförtjust i bruna nyanser på lack och köper sällan dessa själv. Därför är det rätt kul när man i pressutskick får dom där färgerna som man normalt inte skulle testat. Ibland hittar man nya favoriter och ibland inser man att nä, det var som jag trodde jag gillar inte det här.

När det gäller OPI Yank My Doodle från nya Washington DC kollektionen blev jag positivt överraskad. Den här är mer åt det rödaktiga hållet än åt det bruna. Dessutom är lacket riktigt bra att måla med. Täcker på två lager och torkar fort. På bilderna har jag som vanligt topplack på.

Ja, som sagt det här blev ju bra. Tycker det här är ett riktigt klädsamt lack och absolut perfekt i en höstkollektion. Nästan så jag börjar längta lite till hösten och alla vackra färger faktiskt.

Washington DC kollektionen finns ute i butiker om ni är sugna och det tycker jag ni ska vara.

I'm not fond of brown shades on polishes and rarely buy them myself. Therefore, it's quite nice when you get press samples with the colors that you would not normally test. Sometimes you'll find new favorites and sometimes you realize that no, it was as I thought I don't like it this.

Regarding OPI Yank My Doodle from the new Washington DC collection, I was pleasantly surprised. This is more of the reddish side than the brown. In addition, the polish is really good to paint with. It covers in two coats and dries quickly. In the pictures I have as usual topcoat on.

Yes, as I said this was a good surprise. I think this is a really tastefully polish and absolutely perfect in a fall collection. I actually think I start to long a bit for the autumn, maybe not the weather, but all the wonderful colors.
