OPI Can't Find My Czechbook

Vilket nedrans namn på ett så fint lack!

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook är det enda lacket som jag skaffat från Eurocentrale kollektionen i alla fall än så länge. Lacket är ett fantastiskt fint blåturkost krämlack. Jag säger blåturkos för att det känns som ett mellanting mellan färgerna. I vilket fall som helst så är det här ytterligare en härlig vårfärg som jag visar er. En sån där som man blir glad av att ha på naglarna.

Lacket var lätt att applicera, men det krävdes tre lager för att det skulle se helt ok ut. Efter två borde det varit täckande, men jag kände att det minsta jag försökte rätta till något så drogs färgen med så tre lager fick det bli. Dock hände det mycket bara man la på just det där tredje lagret.

Nu är det ju också så att ni kommer få se lacket precis som det ser ut efter att ha målat färdigt och utan topplack eftersom jag gammal vana trogen när jag lägger på ett krämlack har baktankar med det hela.

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook is the only polish that I got from the EuroCentrale collection so far. The polish is a fantastic blue/turquoise creme. I say blue/turquoise because it feels like a cross between the two colors. In any case, this is yet another lovely springcolor that I show you. One of those that makes you happy when you have it on your nails.

The polish was fairly easy to apply, but it took three coats to make it look ok. I think that two should have been enough but I felt that if I tried to correct anything the brush also took the polish already applied with it. So it had to be three layers, but the third one corrected everything.

The pictures I show you is the polish without topcoat because as usuall when I get a cremé polish on I do have som thoughts on what to do more with it.

Grön Onsdag - Orly Coachella Dweller

Onsdag idag vilket betyder att halva veckan har gått! Onsdag innebär också att det är Karin på Vacker & Underbars gröna onsdag vilket jag försöker vara med på när det går ihop sig med veckans lackplanering. Vilket det gjorde denna veckan.

I fredags fick jag hem en liten sändning från Nailsupplies vilken bl.a innehöll det jag ska visa er idag och flera lack från China Glaze Avant Garden kollektionen.

Orly Coachella Dweller är ett ljuvligt pastellgrönt lack helt i min smak. Lite dragning åt gult har det allt. Det känns vårfräsch och fint. Och helt klart verkar det här vara en färg som jag faller för hela tiden, för när jag tittade i min lilla låda hittade jag en del liknande. Färgen är ju helt underbar, men både den och att det är krämlack vi pratar om tilltalar mig också för att det är suveränt underlag om man vill göra någon typ av nailart också.

Formulan var helt ok, lite strimmigt blir det, men inget som inte ett topplack fixar till. Jag tror att man skulle kunna komma undan med två lager, men jag kände att det där sista lagret liksom gjorde susen. Torktiden var bra.

Coachella Dweller kommer från årets vårkollektion Hope & Freedom från Orly. Själv har jag köpt två till av lacken från denna och ser fram emot att testa dom också. Ja, jag vet att jag är tjatig, men det är ju så bra kork och pensel på dom här lacken!

Wednesday today, that means that half the week has already past and in Sweden we also have Green Wednesday on the blogs. This is hosted by Karin at Vacker & Underbar. I try to participate in theme days as much as I can depening on my polishplans for the week.

Last Friday I got a shipment from Nailsupplies in my mailbox and among the polishes were the one I will show you here today. And also some from China Glaze Avant Garden collection. 

This is Coachella Dweller from one of my favorite brands Orly. A pale green pastell polish that I like very much. It's a crispy spring color in my mind. And I do see a bit of yellow in it as well. I realised that I do like this kind of color a lot when I looked in my polishdrawer and found several similar polishes. I think it attracts med not only because I love this kind of color but also the fact that a nice cremepolish always is great to have when you want to do nailart. 

The formula gave me no problems. It did became a bit streaky but nothing that a coat of topcoat can't fix. For me it covered in three layers, but I think that you might be able to get away with two if you want to. 

Coachella Dweller is from this years spring collection from Orly that is called Hope & Freedom. I have bought two more polishes from it and I must say that I'm really looking forward to try them. And I know that I go on about this every time I show you something from Orly, but I can't help that I'm in love with their corks and brushes!

Depend 350

Dags för mig att visa upp ett av dom tre lacken jag köpt från Depends vårkollektion. Som vanligt så finns det inga namn  på dom utan det här kallas för 350.

Efter att ha sett det här hos Nailtastic och Sminkan så blev jag supersugen på att ha en egen flaska, skaffade den och fick sen se ett inlägg hos Lindas Nailorama som fick mig att känna att det här lacket måste jag plocka fram och testa. Varför? Jo, därför att hos både Anne & Sminkan så är bägge positiva till lacket och tycker att det är suveränt, medans Linda är mer negativ för att hon tycker att det täcker för dåligt. Det känns rent ut av som att det nästan är olika formula på deras flaskor.

Sagt och gjort, fram med min flaska och börja måla. Min flaska är också ganska skir måste jag säga, absolut inget problem med själva formulan. Trevlig att jobba med och torkar väl på en helt ok tid, men fyra lager krävdes det faktiskt för att jag skulle vara nöjd med täckningen och då har jag faktiskt lite VNL i alla fall.

Nu är det ju ändå så att färgen är så fantastisk härlig att jag bestämde mig för att jag kunde stå ut med detta. En eldig orangeröd med skimmer i som sig bör när det är ett Depend lack. Jag älskar verkligen den här färgen. Jag kände som sagt att det ändå var en bra formula att jobba med och jag gillar Depends pensel. men visst håller jag med Linda om att det gott kunde varit lite bättre täckning på det.

Faktum är att jag tycker att Depend får lite för lite uppmärksamhet ibland bland oss bloggare. Absolut mig själv inräknat!

Ett svenskt märke som är väldigt lätt att få tag på och till ett billigt pris. Visst det är små flaskor så per ml är det väl kanske inte så billigt, men om man tänker på att alla kanske inte är lika tokiga som oss utan bara vill ha en kul färg som kanske ska matcha en klädsel en speciell kväll så är det ju helt fantastiskt att du troligen kan få tag på ett sånt lack på ditt närmaste Maxi, Åhlens eller liknande. Håller ni inte med mig?

Time for me to show one of the three polishes I bought from Depends spring collection. As usual, there are no names on them, just numbers and this is polish nr.350.

After seeing this at Nailtastic and Sminkan I knew I had to have a bottle too, bought one and then I saw this post at Linda Nailorama that made me feel that I had to try this at once. Why? Because both Anne & Sminkan liked to polish a lot, while Linda is more negative because she thinks it covers too bad. Their reviews almost make me think that the formula is different in the bottles. 

Said and done I went and got my bottle and started to apply the polish. My bottle is also quite sheer, I must say, absolutely no problems with the formula. Nice to work with and dries well on a ok time, but it took four layers before I was satisfied with the coverage of it. And still there are actually some VNL.

After all the color is so amazing that I decided that I could put up with this. I normally hate VNL in any kind.  A fiery orange with shimmer as it should be in a Depend polish. I really love this color. As I said I didn't have so much problem with the formula but I do agree with Linda that it covers a bit porly. And I do like Depends brush a lot. 

In fact, I think that Depend gets to little attention sometimes among us bloggers. Absolutely myself included!

A Swedish brand that is very easy to obtain (if you live in Sweden anyway!) and at a cheap price. Sure there are small bottles so per ml it might not be so cheap, but if you consider that all may not be as crazy as us, and instead just wants a fun color that might be matching a dress on a special evening or so. Then  it's quite amazing that you can probably get one of those paint at your nearest supermarket or similar. I think that is great!

Blue Monday - Zoya Robyn Vs. China Glaze Sunday Funday

Lindas blåa måndag är här igen, denna måndagen har jag valt att inte göra ett vanligt inlägg utan istället en jämförelse mellan Zoya Robyn och China Glaze Sunday Funday.

Anledningen till detta är egentligen att en av tjejerna i vår Lacka - Byt grupp efterfrågade Robyn och när jag sökte runt lite på nätet läste jag att Sunday Funday från China Glaze nya Avant Garden kollektion skulle vara mer eller mindre dupe till den. Nu låg det ju dessutom till som så att Robyn redan fanns hos mig och Sunday Funday gör det också sen i fredags då mitt paket från Nailsupplies dök upp.

Är dom dupes då? Vi kan ju börja med att kolla på en flaskbild på dom två.

Här är det ju ingen större tvekan om att dom är extremt lika färgmässigt. 

Men hur är det då när dom väl kommer på naglarna. Formula mässigt måste jag säga att jag föredrar Zoya Robyn även om jag fick lägga tre lager av den för att få den att täcka ordentligt. Det är absolut inget fel på Sunday Fundays formula heller, den är lite tjockare och man får vara lite mer försiktig när man målar med den så man inte får massa i nagelbanden. Absolut inga problem att få detta lacket att täcka på två lager. 

Torktiden är ungefär likvärdig. Faktiskt inte jättebra på någon av dom. Ganska normal troligen, men jag börjar bli bortskämd minsann.

När jag målat visade jag fram handen för både sonen och mannen och ingen av dom märkte att det var två olika lack. Inte ens när jag talat om det. 

Jag får för mig att det skiljer lite i färgen på dom. Sunday Funday är kanske pyttelite ljusare, men helt ärligt är det så lite så sitter man inte och stirrar på naglarna märks det inte. Och då menar jag verkligen stirrar för att man ska försöka hitta olikheter. 

Dupes? Ja, det är nog så nära man kan komma i alla fall. Vilket jag i och för sig kan tycka är trevligt för dom som söker efter Robyn, men inte fått tag på det. China Glaze Sunday Funday är absolut en värdig ersättare för det. Jag skulle nog till och med vilja säga att sluta leta. 

Vad säger ni? Är dom dupes eller inte?

On Swedish blogs it's Blue Monday today a theme day that Linda at Linda's Nailorama is the host of. Today I won't be showing you a regular post but instead a comparision of two beautiful polishes. Zoya Robyn and China Glaze Sunday Funday.

The reason why I'm doing this is that one of the members in our FB group Lacka - Byt was asking if someone had a Zoya Robyn to spare. I have one but wasn't to keen on trading it. So I googled the polish and realised that some other blogs stated that there is a dupe and a very new polish that was on it's way to my mailbox. The polish is China Glaze Sunday Funday. Lucky enough my package from Nailsupplies was in my mailbox last friday so I took the time to compare these two. 

If you look at the picture with the two bottles they look very similar to eachother. But on the nails? Are the similar there too?

Yes, I certinaly think so. If I sit and stare at my nails I imagen that Sunday Funday might be a tiny bit brighter than Robyn, but that is when I really stare to try to find difference between the two. 

My son and husband didn't notice that I had two different colors on when I asked them about the color. 

I would say that they are very close on being dupes or maybe they even are dupes. What do you think?

Nailart Sunday - Black & Silver

Veckan som gick har varit en skitvecka faktiskt. Har dragits med huvudvärk större delen av den och inte känt för något glatt på naglarna. När jag nödgades att måla om i tisdags för att det jag hade på såg ut som skit så var det svart lack som åkte på.

På det här gjorde jag den enklaste varianten av gradient man kan göra (tror jag). Jag la en liten sträng med silverglitter längst upp på nageln  som jag sen drog ned till en gradient med penslen. Effekten blev riktigt bra tycker jag. Lite som silvriga eldsflammor. Och det är alltså den här manikyren som jag tänker visa er denna Lelack:s Nailart Sunday.

Jag har använt mig av NOX Twilligt Black Tie och det bästa silverglittret jag vet. Ett från Depend som har nummer 47.

This week hasn't been the best in my life. Had a bad headache most week and have not felt like having anything bright on my nails. So when I had to redo my manicure because the one I had looked like sh**t it was a black polish that I felt like putting on. 

Over this I did what I think is one of the most simple gradients you can do. I just laid a string of glitterpolish on the top of the nail and then used the polishbrush to drag it down to make a sort of gradient. 

I was very pleased with the outcome of this. It almost looks like silverflames on the nail. So that is also what I choosed to show you this Nailart Sunday.

For this manicure I used NOX Twillight Black Tie and my favorite silverglitter from the Swedish brand Depend that only has a number and that is 47.
