The Neverending Story Challenge - Nabi Hologram Ocean Blue

Mitt första inlägg i denna veckans The Neverending Story Challenge blir med ett lack som jag inte kan komma ihåg när jag köpte, men det är rätt länge sen i alla fall.

Vi pratar om Nabi Hologram Ocean Blue ett hololack som är havsfärgat och på det sättet kan tyckas vara både grönt och blått precis som temafärgerna är denna veckan.

Jag gillar verkligen färgen på det här lacket, men tyvärr så hade det lite tendens till holosjuka vilket alltid gör mig smått sur när jag målar.

På grund av det så blev det tre lager målat. Torktiden var riktigt bra och på bilderna ser ni det utan topplack.

Som sagt helt ljuvlig färg och en fin holoeffekt även om den inte är superstark. Det här är fint även när man inte är i solen och den egenskapen tycker jag är rätt viktig på just holos.

My first post in this week's The Neverending Story Challenge is with a polish that I can't remember when I bought, but it is a long time ago anyway.

We're talking about Nabi Hologram Ocean Blue a holographic polish are sea-colored and thus may seem to be both green and blue, just like the theme colors this week.

I really like the color of this polish, but unfortunately it should tendency to holosickness which always makes me somewhat angry when I paint with the polish.

Because of that I had to take three layers. The drying time was really good and in the pictures you see it without a topcoat.

As I said un absolutely lovely color and a fine holo even if it is not super strong. This is fine even when you are not in the sun and that is something that I think is needed when it comes to holos.

Nailart Sunday - Nabi Swirls!

Nabi Hologram Red fick mig lite förtrollad så jag tänkte att jag skulle behålla det på lite extra länge genom att förhöja det lite med hjälp av lite stamping. Och då passar det ju bra att visa resultatet i dagens Nailart Sunday.

Pueen Encore SF03B bjöd på ett perfekt mönster och svart Konad lack fick det bli till detta. Jag älskar svart och rött tillsammans.

Jag är verkligen supernöjd med hur resultatet blev. Av någon anledning får det mig att tänka på Törnrosa eller tv-serien Once Upon A Time.

Vad tänker du på när du ser det här mönstret?

Nabi Hologram Red got me enchanted so I thought I would keep it on a little extra time by enhancing it a bit with a little stamping. And of course it works great for todays Nailart Sunday. 

Pueen Encore SF03B offered a perfect pattern and I used black Konad polish for this. I love black and red together. 

I'm really super happy with how the results turned out. For some reason it makes me think of Sleeping Beauty or the TV series Once Upon A Time.

Holofredag - Nabi Hologram Red

Det är länge sedan jag lyckades pricka in ett inlägg som passade ihop med Skimmerskuggans Holofredag, men idag blev det äntligen så. Dock med ett lack som har något bristande holoeffekt möjligen.

Fast Nabi Hologram Red eller 3D-Rainbow Effect som det också står på flaskan är så grymt snyggt att jag fullkomligt struntar i hur synliga regnbågarna är eller inte är. Lacket är ett helt fantastiskt lite mörkare rött. En riktig fröjd för ögat tycker jag.

Det man får se upp med är att det finns lite holosjuka i det. Tänker man bara på att ta lite tjockare lager så är det inga större problem. Självklart hade Aqua Base varit att föredra som baslack, men eftersom jag inte bestämde förrän efter jag lagt på mitt baslack vad jag skulle pryda klorna med så orkade jag inte göra om hela proceduren.

Jag har tre lager och ett lager med topplack på också. Finns inte så mycket mer att säga än titta och njut!

It's been a long time since I managed to match my friday post with Skimmerskuggans Holofriday​​, but today it finally became that way. However, with a polish that has not that much holographic effect in it. 

But Nabi Hologram Red or 3D Rainbow Effect as it also says on the bottle is so so amazing that I absolutely do not care how visible the rainbows are or are not. The polish is an absolutely fantastic darker red. A real feast for the eyes, I think. 

You need to be a bit careful painting with this. If you take to little paint on the brush you might drag the paint with you if you try to correct but if you just paint with a little bit thicker layers it's not that big of a problem. Obviously Aqua Base would have been preferable as base coat, but since I didn't decide until after I already had put on my base coat what I would decorate the claws with a normal basecoat had to do. 

I have three layers and a layer of top coat on too. There is not much more to say about this than watch and enjoy!

Nabi Hologram - Green

Ett holo på en tisdag är väl aldrig fel!

Nabi Hologram Green är precis vad det låter som ett grönt hololack. Ett ganska blekgrönt holo. Jag upplevde det som lite knepigt att måla med. Skulle förmodligen haft Aqua Base under, men istället hade jag ingenting. Inte ens vanligt baslack. Det är lite skirt, men tre lager funkar i alla fall. Över detta har jag Sally Hansen Insta-Dri en ny bekantskap för mig.

Visst är det fint lacket, men jag tycker nog faktiskt att det är lite blekt. Hade gärna sett lite mer klös i det. Att det inte är superholo gör mig inget. Tycker det är en fin effekt i det.

Vad säger ni fin färg eller lite mesig?

A holo on a Tuesday is always right! 

Nabi Hologram Green is just what it sounds like a green holopolish. A pretty pale green holo. I felt that it was a little tricky to paint with. Should probably had used Aquabase as a base, but instead, I had nothing. Not even the usual base coat. It's a bit sheer, but three layers is enough. Over this I have Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, a new acquaintance for me. 

Sure it's a nice polish, but I think actually it's a little to faded. Would have liked to seen a little more edge in it. I don't mind that the effect of the holo isn't superstrong that is niced anyway.

Läsarnas Val / Readers Choice! - Nabi Hologram Purple

Japp, då var läsarnas val tillbaka och det med lacket som ni valde för två veckor sedan innan United In Pink temat drog igång.

Återigen måste jag ju säga att ni har väldigt bra smak. Det ni valde var Nabi Hologram Purple ett rosa/lila hololack som är mycket fint, men inte riktigt lika fint att lacka med. Jag gillar den här lite skarpare färgen på holosar.

När jag testar hololack för märken jag inte provat förut gör jag det alltid över mitt vanliga baslack. För att se hur formulan är och kunna skriva vad som är lämpligast att ha som underlag till det. I det här fallet kan jag absolut rekommendera Aqua Base för det här var holosjukt. Det tillåter inte att penseln kommer åt där man redan målat för då dras det lacket med penseln. Aqua Base hade förmodligen löst det här problemet.

Täckningen är det dock inget större problem med. Trots några lite tunnare punkter så har jag bara två lager på. Och lite Poshé över.

Readers Choice is back and that is with the polish that you picked out for me two weeks ago before the United In Pink theme started.

Again I had to say that you have very good taste. What you chose was Nabi Hologram Purple one pink / purple hololgraphic polish that has a very nice color, but not quite as nice to paint with. I do like this little sharper color on holo polishes. 

When I test holopolishes from brands I have not tried before I always do it over my regular base coat. To see how the formula is and be able to write what is most appropriate to have as a base for it. In this case, I can absolutely recommend Aqua Base for this was holosick. It does not allow the brush to go anywhere near where you already painted because the brush takes that paint with it.  Aqua Base probably had solved this problem.

The coverage, however, is no major problems. Despite some slightly thinner points  I only have two layers on. And some Poshe over.
